I took her for human anatomy I and I think she was very helpful and had a great teaching style. I always recommend her to anyone that needs to take human anatomy.

I absolutely love Dr. Levinson. She is a very fast speaker, but it is only because she is a ball full of energy. She is the most helpful instructor that I have had at GPC. I am normally not an A student in science, but I am getting high ones in this class

Biology is not easy, so don't take it if you don't want to study. Levinson is very clear, and I think is a great instructor. Study notes for the tests--not the text book. Only lecture material is on tests.

Dr.Levinson is a great instructor who has a gift for teaching.She goes over the material in a very through manner but she talks fast so tape record the classes. Her tests came strictly from her lecture notes. Don't need a strong science background to pass

I don't know why some people said she's hard. I think she's a great teacher that willing to help you until you understand the material. The tests are easy because from the lecture notes, not from the book. The lab is great,she likes to help each student.

The best teacher I've ever had. You must tape the lectures and listen to them again until you understand the material, but once you've got it down, you're set for the test and even better, you're set for advanced courses later on.

I am taking her again for 1612, she is wonderful !! I am a tough critic, but I cant complain.

Fantastic Teacher! Very tough, though & talks fast. Exams are word-for-word from the lecture: Multiple choice, fill-in, w/1 or 2 essay qestions & 1bonus. When grading tests if the majority of the class misses a ques, she will give credit for it. If you are a Nursing major and need to REMEMBER what you've learned, this is the teacher for you!

EXCELLENT teacher. Really, truly cares for the students. Being at perimeter, i haven't really had any good teachers...but Dr. Levinson is one of the best teachers i have EVER had. She is Very detailed. She wants her students to understand the material. Do not expect to coast in her class. You have to work for your grade. She is very much needed for nursing/dental hygiene students, even though she may be alittle tougher than others.

Dr. Levinson is great! She really knows what she is talking about and will explain things over and over if you ask her to. Her labs are really easy if you just follow directions and study. Coming in for open labs to review will ensure you get an A!

Is the nicest lady ever, but her test questions are very hard. Multiple choice is VERY VERY tricky.

Very enthusiastic about Biology; Does not curve and tests are not easy. If you mess up on one test you're basically screwed--there were only three tests, one small paper, and a cumulative final. All I can say is make sure you study every night or you're up the creek without a paddle.

Excellent teacher. Dr. Levison is very approachable and will work with you personally if you ask her too. This class is not hard if you take proficent notes and study. You will NOT coast in this class.

Earned an A in the class. It was no EASY task! However, Dr. Livinson is an excellent teacher and is very focus on you understanding the material. You have to study you @$$ off! The only thing that I found frusterating is when there is like 5 min left of class she will start another subject/chapter. Also NEVER ended class even 5-10 min short. Ooch!

Dr. Levinson is a remarkable teacher. You have to work hard and read the textbook, and I also recommend doing the study guide. But she makes it really clear what info will be prominent on tests. Also, she is very available for extra help. She will meet with you, answer emails, call you, whatever you ask if you have questions. I earned an A.

A&P is a hard subject. Dr. Levinson makes it easy to understand the concepts. Attend class and take good notes. All her test questions come from her notes. Easy to make an A in her class, but you have to earn the A. Best A&P instructor thus far.

Dr Levinson teaches the material very clearly, however there is no structure to the class. In other words, you don't know which chapters you'll be covering...So if you are a person who likes to prepare in advance for tests, you won't know what will be on the tests until right before the exam! I like her, but the class moves S L O W

She's great! Very little science in H.S. (way back when) and learned an enormous amount from her. She really knows the subject and she can teach! A&P II is very hard and her foundation is essential.

O.K. Dr. Levison is a good person as a whole. However this class is WAY TOO HARD. I repeat WAY TO HARD. The tests are extremely hard. I don't know if she's putting these comments up herself or she's paying students to write them. However, she is EXTREMELY overrated. As previously stated she is a good person but her class is NOT, I repeat NOT easy. Test are VERY difficult. Take heed to this warning DON'T take her. Run as fast as you can. I took half semester.It was tough since A&P is hard course.My average for 4 exams were A (which u can drop one exam)but I made C on final exam and end up with B for the class.She does not curve the grade, but yes she is probably the best teacher I ever met.She really does care for her student.

Levinson is amazing!! Anatomy is a tough subject for anyone, but she makes it EASY. Don't take this class with anyone else!! It's almost impossible not to get anything lower than a B with her.

I took her both for H&P I and II and enjoyed and learned a lot of things in the her class. She is the best, her exams are reasonable. Awesome and profoundly fair. Grades everone the same and does not make exceptions, follws her own rules. VERY good at explaining complex concepts, always willing to answer questions. Excellent teacher, Wish I had her for A & P 1. She actually teaches you the class rather than read power points. Very personal, and will go over things to help you understand. Test can be challenging, but if you come to class and take NOTES, you can pass. If you are concerned about taking anatomy, please take her.

she's the best ever..

This class has been a trip, 3 thick note books full of power points, she asks difficult questions, alot of the things that you may consider menial. All you do is study, I get the same input from my classmates. Her class has been highly over-rated. She is nice, and answers your questions, no study guide for final!

Had this teacher spring10 for lecture. Glad she lectured in detail that way you learned it. Glad she gave us pwpts. made it easy to understand, some teachers don't give any. Didn't test on anything not covered it class. Nice, but not too nice, she has her favorites and it's obvious. Gives study guide for everything but final. Tests were fair.

I took Dr. Levinson for 1611 and did well. So I thought I would take her for 1612 lecture and lab, big mistake. 1612 is much harder than 1611. Lab tests are fill in the blank only, no multiple choice! She is thorough but if you are not a self-taught learner, do not take her for 1612. It was alot of info coming at you at 60 mph.

Dr. Levinson is a great teacher at presenting the information you need to know. It is up to you to process the information and put it together. Her test are relatively short. Normally about 25 multiple choice questions and about 12-15 short answer questions with the majority of the weight resting on the multiple choice questions.Tests are very hard

Dr.Lavinson is an excellent professor who can provide you with a fully understanding about the human anatomy and physiology. With all her lectures in both AP1&2, Students will get equivalent knowledge in biology,specifically in Human body, to move in a next step for either taking MCAT,PCAT,DAT,or Nursing's exam. I had the pleasure of taking Anatomy 1 & 2 lecture AND lab with Dr. Levinson. She's the best professor for the subject HANDS DOWN. It was the toughest class I've ever taken BUT I am FULLY prepared and know the material. She tests in such a way where you have to apply the material which prepares you for Nursing school. Dr. Levinson is a good professors. She provides you with a lot of information related not only in your tests but also for your future courses of human such as pathology. After taking Human 1 and 2, most students will get better preparation knowledge for their next advanced courses in biology, which are related in medical study program.

Took for both AP lecture and lab. Super helpful in lab. Four tests in lecture and drops the lowest grade. Online homework and one research paper. Tests are combo of multiple choice and short answer. Tests are tough, but then again, anatomy is a tough subject. Take her, she's good.

Professor Levison really knows how to teach. Her lectures are really detailed, therefore, she makes everything make sense (it also helps with lab). Her test questions come directly from her lecture, so she doesn't try to trick anyone. Highly recommended!

I took Dr. Levinson for A&P Lab. Loved the way she taught! She is so nice and tries her best to help her students during labs. She gives mini reviews from lecture before starting labs which was awesome! Only down fall is that she doesn't give a study guide for tests, but she does have a review day. TAKE HER!

Took her for A&P 1&2. Best teacher ever! She is a tough grader and her exams are hard, but at the end of her class you mastered A&P! Whoever says that she is not a good teacher could just not handle A&P or did not want to work hard enough. If you want to learn you won't regret taking her.

She really knows her stuff, and teaches it well. I haven't enjoyed a class as much as I enjoyed her, and learned a lot about Anatomy & Phys. If you go to class and take good notes, and look over those notes, you may not have to spend a lot of extra time studying to do well. Lab is where I devoted more study time, due to all the memorization.

I am in nursing major. I took both AP with her. She is easy if you listen to what she said. There is no need for book. Everything on herbtest based on thenlecture in the class. If you think that she is the worst or very difficult and you are in the nursing or science major. I think you should switch your major because this is easy.

Had her for A&P 1 Lab and will be taking her for A&P 2. She's completely upfront about what material you need to know and wants you to succeed. Yes, you need to study your tail off in this class, but honestly, don't you want your health care professionals to really know their stuff? If you want to really learn, take her!

If you fail the first test, maybe you do not pass, study a lot because she asks for everything there 50 questions for each test.
