Ms. Cramer was good, for the first two days, then it was all hell. Asking for help from her was like trying to ask a man-eating tiger directions to the theatre. She was also all over the board, which pretty much kills any possibility of actually learning something. Bad professor, no biscuit.

Professor Cramer is excellent. She is so knowledgeable and will talk to you about nuclear proliferation for hours if you'd like. Her classes are infamously hard, so if that isn't your speed I'd take different classes. However, I learned at a rapid pace and with high retention due to how the class was structured. Go to office hours!

Jane Cramer is absurdly knowledgeable about nuclear proliferation and will talk to you for hours about if you want. That being said, her class is incredibly difficult with daily quizzes and lots of reading. You get out exactly what you put in, so work hard and it will be a great class.

PS440 PS384 PS479 This is my favorite professor at the University of Oregon. She is unbelievably knowledgeable about foreign policy and her passion comes through in every single lecture. Her exams are tough and her classes are a lot of work towards the end of the term, but she is very open and excited to help during office hours or after class.

A lot of reading, but the subject topic was incredibly interesting to me and Professor Cramer made it very engaging. Difficult to get an A but relatively easy to get in the B range as long as you keep up with the reading. She's very good at conveying the gravity of the subject matter and I would certainly take another of her classes.

There was genuinely 6 hours of reading every week but I feel much more knowledgable about nuclear politics. She is very funny and lectures are mostly engaging, but you will have no idea what is going on if you don't read. For the tests she gives 20 possible questions you could have then only asks 6, but I highly encourage you to take this course.

I am in love with Jane Cramer. She is the coolest person ever and I want to be her friend so I can learn her whole life story. This was my favorite class I have ever taken. She is so passionate about nuclear politics and I loved having her yell at me every day about bombs. This class was pretty hard, daily pop quizzes.

I took International Relations (PS 205) from her in Fall 2023. While there is an immense amount of reading, she summarizes what you need to know from the readings in the lectures, so you don't actually have to read if you attend lecture consistently. I would also highly recommend my GE - Robin Bracket. Long, essay-style midterm and final.

Truly one of, if not the best, political science professors I've had the pleasure of taking a class with, Jane is an extremely passionate lecturer who loves her students and the material she teaches. Quite literally, she is one of the smartest people I've ever met, and her lectures reflect this.

Jane is great. Sure she goes on tangents about nukes and stuff, but she cares a lot about what she does. She is super passionate and I would be more than glad to take her class again. There is just a good amount of reading to do.

Professor Cramer was an amazing educator who cares deeply about International Relations and understands the field deeply. The readings are interesting and relevant. Professor Cramer's lectures often went off on insightful tangents regarding her expertise in nuclear weapons. Overall a rewarding class if you are engaged and do the readings.

Lovely professor! Cramer was my first political science professor, and her quality has set a high bar for my future instructors. While I don't have a great frame of reference, from my experience and what I've gathered this is a very challenging class. Straightforward. Do the readings. Really get to know them. Hard class to get an A in, but you can!

I was really excited to take Cramer because she is a PS icon but I am less than impressed. She goes on tangents, hard to keep up with her. Graded by only 2 midterms, 1 essay, and 1 final. During presentations, she shakes her head, makes faces, and then at the end she explains in front of everyone what you said that was wrong. Humiliation ritual.

Professor Cramer is my favorite instructor I have ever had. She is so knowledgable on every subject she teaches. I took her fall term of this year and had to take her again, and I will be taking any other courses she teaches in the future. Put in the work and you will succeed, I have learned for much from her.

The first class I took w/ Cramer I thought she was cold and intimidating but the more I've seen from her, she is an amazing teacher with insane amounts of knowledge. Her classes will push you and you can't BS them but you'll learn a lot if you immerse yourself. She isn't a hard greater imo and she wants you to succeed just a really stressful class.

Cramer has made me a better student, not only have I loved every class I've taken with her, but they have completely influenced my perspective on the world. The classes can be tough, but the development and career readiness I have gained have been worth it. Cramer is a remarkable woman, and I'll always remember her.

I think she does a good job at teaching a lot but it is not organized at all. I was in her Intro to IR and it was crazy. As a first term freshman it was very overwhelming. She has a BUNCH of weekly readings with write up summaries and full chapters you have to read to understand the class. She is also a super harsh tester for the midterm and final.

Took a bunch of IR classes with her and did honors thesis with her. Very thorough lectures and materials. Emphasizes seriousness of each subject. As long as you learn and understand the concepts, you will ace the exams.
