Wiese is awesome! She gives very easy tests and is very fair on homework assignments. She will respect you if you respect her. She teaches Priciples of Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Personal Investments.

For a finance professor she is #1. After taking her personal investment course as a sort of self improvement I was able to triple my overall monatary worth in less then 8 months. If you want to get wealth take her class and DO what she says.

Best teacher to date, very clear and straight forward. Makes a hard subject smoothe and understandable. One of the few classes I can sit through and tolerate being there the whole time. if she avail. then take her.

Mrs. Weise is no doubt a nice lady but it is kinda hard to follow along. She gives a lot of homework. More than Ive had before. You also work in groups on tests that makes up for 25% of your grade. Overall alright teacher. Would recommend.

Professor Wiese is great. The class has difficult info,she explains it wonderfully. Tests: you take the test and then you take the same test with group members and then she averages the two. Same with final (cummulative). Homework (must do) and then check with group. Go to class/Do work/Make A !!

Very good teacher. It is a hard class in itself but I have a B because of her. She does give alot of homework but it's online so it isn't too hard to not get 100s on it. Tests are individual and group so that helps a ton. I failed 3 tests but the group part gave me a C on them. Just make sure you study her handouts and come to class.

There is no way a person can fail this class. I had a difficult time in this class and I manage to pull a B in this class. Just show up to class bec that is worth 10%, do homework. Homework does take time but you have to do it bec its worth a grade. Prof Wiese will knows how to teach finan accounting. Take her! test are indiv and group.

Not a bad teacher; not greatest. Doing your homework assignments on the computer is a pain. Its best on paper. There are too many steps to complete. Like a little girl. This woman makes accounting easy! All homework is online and she gives you all class period to work on it. She seems alittle out there sometimes, but she's cool. Taking her for managerial in the spring! A++++++!

She's an awesome teacher, she gives extra credit daily and on tests. The material itself may not be clear, but she helps. The textbook is nice, it has online homework and practice tests saving you lots of handcramps and erasing. I barely study for this class and I've Aced every tests, also if you do well on all tests,you can drop the final.

This is the hardest class I have ever taken. She makes it a little bit easy, but not enough for me to completely understand. She is very helpful. She did all she could do for me to pass. Listen to her and read the book or you will fail.

Great Teacher! She is always willing to help her students. The material is hard, you will need to put a lot of efford into it, but as long as you do your assignments and study the vocabulary and handouts, you will be okay.

This teacher knows how to teach. She is understanding to any shortcoming you might have. With a Master's Degree in Education, she certainly applies her knowledge and pass it on. This was by far, the best class I've attended at Valencia Community College. Overall, she is the best.

Miss Wiese is the best! Take her!!!!!!!! HW is online and is time consuming, but has unlimited opportunities. There are five tests which I had to study for, but they are relatively easy. The final is worth 40% of your final grade. She turns accounting into a regular class where you don't have to be a genius to ace it.

This class is a lot of work but you will learn alot. You don't need the textbook because the book is online. If you can't figure something out, you can ask on the discussion board and other students will help out. This was my first accounting class and I learned alot. Great teacher-will take her again.

I just completed my second accounting class with this instructor and I wish to convey that this class is structured well and that communication is excellent. Final is difficult, so do well on all tests so that this exam grade does not devastate you.

Wiese is one of VCC's highest-rated for accounting, a subject w/ high failure/dropout rates across the U.S. I pulled A's in both of her accounting courses and learned a lot while doing so. Caring professor who also served in our Navy. Lots of hw that requires self-exploration. Managerial was far more difficult for me than Financial.

What a sweet lady, she treats all of her students like her children. Going to class is never a boring day, always something interesting to learn from her. Her tests are fair and reasonable, 75 percent is individual and 25 percent is group work. Final was hard but if you study hard enough you'll pass.

Quite possibly the greatest class in the world. This was my first and last class at Valencia College and I would have to say that Professor Wiese made it extremely comfortable. The professor is extremely reasonable and loves the students. 10 percent attendance, 15 percent assignments, 35 percent tests and a 40 percent final.

Super nice lady. I took her got a 98 in her online class. She is always trying to help. She responds to emails in a reasonable time. There is 5 sections, hw and test in every chapter,which is about 11. Not an easy class but as long as you ask any questions in the discussion (mandatory for each chapter) you will understand it a lot more.

Took online, here were 5 modules where in each 2-3 chapters HW and 3 tests + final (20%). Discussion is required and graded. Very time consuming, but if you do all, easy ‘A’, even if you not doing good on some chapter tests.

One of the best teachers I've taken in college. Genuinely cares about her students success and their futures. Teaches life skills like being financially responsible and gives insight on the stock market and how things work in the real world. Not a hard class at all. If you read the book and do the homework and you will likely get an A or B.

Professor Wiese is the best! She's been in accounting for a long time and knows what she's doing. She loves teaching and it shows. She really cares if you get the material and will work with you to explain anything you don't. There are group workshops which help to reinforce the material. Take her and you won't be disappointed.

Professor Wiese is the BEST professor there is. Before I took her, I thought I could never pass accounting, and then I took her and I ended up with an A. She is very clear and direct, deeply cares about her students, offers extra credit, tests are easy (but study for them), puts you in groups which makes everything easier. MUST TAKE HER.

Taking class online; giving this rating the first week of the course. The syllabus is very clear with the entire course outlined including assignment/test due dates. 5 Modules (2-3 chapters each), 5 Tests (top 4 averaged), and Final Exam. Discussion Forum Posts 10%, Assignments 15%, Tests 35% and Final 40%. Chose Professor based on prior reviews.

Taking class online. Lots of h/w (as expected), don't wait until the last minute to complete! Prof. has a forum that allows students/prof to help each other with questions or difficult problems. Prof. responds to email promptly. Class is not easy, but the online class material is well explained. Book is NOT required for online; Digital book.

Even if you are an East Campus student, take Prof Wiese's online class. She is helpful and the online course is well designed to help with the problems. All tests/final are open-book. Able to access book while taking a test by clicking the ebook symbol. It takes you straight to a reference problem. The tests are not timed and you have a week.

Professor Wiese is my FAV. VCC Prof! TAKE HER!! However the Final Exam is 40% of your grade, so study, do the HW, put in effort, & you'll pass. Choose your group wisely, they effect your test grades, be the leader don't expect them to help you pass. I lead my group & got a 98 in 2021 & 96 in 2071. Show up early for extra credit!!!!

Professor Wiese was great. She's always in a good mood and loves to teach. Her class is hard. She gives short lectures for each chapter which makes it harder to understand the topic. The Homeworks are long but they help. The tests are pretty tough. The hardest part for me is multiple-choice and true or false. Study hard and don't miss class.

I took her online course for managerial and while reading the book was a bit much for understanding the class was easy. She answered questions in a matter of a few hours and she was always willing to help anytime I got stuck on a problem.

I took financial accounting online and could not have found a better professor! The tests are open for multiple days as well as the homework, she responds to emails within hours and gives great feedback on solving problems. Don't be afraid to ask her lots of questions, she's incredibly helpful and truly wants you to understand the material.

All work on McGrawHill Connect, 5 module tests (35%), 12-chapter assignments (1 every week, 15%), final (worth 40%). She was responsive and very nice if you had questions or needed help. Material was difficult most of the time so use textbook and her canvas resources, but it was manageable.

Show up, take notes and study the review and complete your homework and receive an A. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the homework though.
