Mrs.Moss is THE teacher to take for statistics! Do your homework because she goes over it everyday and it really helped me. Almost everything is in excel and she explains things until you undersatnd.You are allowed one formula sheet for exams.She is excellent.

the best teacher that you can take for this class. 4 tests, but you can use a formula sheet. you only have to take the final if you missed an earlier test or you have less than a C grade. go to class and do the homework because she goes over it everyday in class. 95% of work and all tests are done on EXCEL

This class is an easy A there is 3 tests and a non-cumulative final. There is also one group presentation that is cake. Professor Moss is one of the nicest teachers in the entire school and her classes are easy. Definitley take her for this class

Mrs. Moss is the sweetest, most helpful instructor I've had at GSU! She is crystal clear in her teaching, and I never used the book! Some may want to for the extra practice, but I went to class (most of the time) and I did fine without it! Easy A!!

She is the smartest and sweetest professor at COBA! She knows this subject and is the perfect teacher! She does a great job explaining things so that you can fit it into your major area and see how you would use stats in the real world. She never yells and is very easy to get along with! I dropped the ball in this class, take that into consideration while reading my review. She introduces material very clearly but goes a little fast at time but will stop and answer questions if you are confused. Assigns homework but does not grade, do it though cause test questions are from homework. Drops lowest test grade. Dont miss a test though

Great instructor - if you attend class and take notes, you will be fine. You don't need to buy the book. She goes over problems step by step. The key to taking the tests is to practice the problems. Also, taking time to create and practice problems with your test info sheet helps out alot.

Absolutely great teacher! No textbook we use a "class packet"-it's on her website and you print it off. You take 5 test and she drops the lowest. Front and Back formula sheet for every test. Attendance isn't required but it's very helpful since there isn't a textbook. Her and her husband use the same teaching methods so take either one if you can!

Best professor I've had in all my college years. She's so sweet and very willing to help. The only reason you wouldn't pass this class is because you didn't try at all. You use her textbook that you can print offline for free. In order to grasp the concepts go to class and pay attention...it's very simple. Cheat sheets are allowed on every test.

She's a very sweet person. As long as you attend class and do the homework you will pass the class, however attendance isn't mandatory. Professor Moss is a very nice woman. Only five tests, but she only counts five. You get to use cheat sheets on them all. Including the final! You don't need to buy a textbook. Never has required homework assignments. Lectures are clear. Take her!

Thought this class would be hard, but was super easy! She explains the work like she is explaining it to a baby(step by step). Her tests are about 10 problems but with multiple a,b,c,d parts! Would recommend to anyone! Would take her again if I could!

Dr. Moss is a great professor! She is so helpful and explains things as many times as students need without getting frustrated. She really seems to care about her students' success. I would take her again without even thinking about it, given the opportunity. She does so many practice problems to make sure students grasp concepts.

She is a very good teacher and is very helpful. If you attend every class, you'll more than likely pass with an A. She gives a lot of extra credit that is helpful. You get to use a cheat sheet on all of your tests. Do the practice problems before each test and you're guaranteed to at least pass. I enjoyed her.

Material is clear and concise. Tests reflect homework questions and everything in class. You have the option to buy the book but she provides a package that covers all information on the test. I learned a lot from the lectures. I went to class on a regular basis and made 96s on all my tests except one. Optional final. Gives extra credit. Take her.

Easiest A I ever got. Gives 5 tests (4 if you average 90+ before the final). You're literally allowed a cheat sheet in the exams, no reason to fail this class. She's very nice and explains the material clearly with a bunch of examples. Attendance isn't mandatory but she a few quizzes for credit. No homework, no textbook. TAKE HER

Dr. Moss is awesome! Don't worry about a book, she has a packet for the course. This class is not set up for you to do bad, but somehow people do bad. If you go to class and listen you can easily make an A.

The sweetest professor Ive ever taken at southern! She offers in class assignments & extra credit to boost your grade so attendance is mandatory. She is awesome!! No text book, she gives you a fill in the blank packet. Attendance isn't mandatory but you should go since the packet is fill in the blank and there are random in-class assignments. Professor Moss is the best option for taking business stat at Georgia Southern. You are allowed two pieces of paper to bring into the exam. The content is laid out clearly. If you attend class and look at the homework you will do well.

Her test are hard, but she does replace one test grade with the final exam grade which helps a lot! She is very nice and gives extra credit opportunities. Make sure to attend class it is the only way you'll be able to pass her TRICKY worded test. She lets you have a formula sheet for every test that you can put ANYTHING on.

Professor Moss is the kindest professor I've had at Georgia Southern. Her lectures are clear, and she gives you the packet we use in class on folio, so you don't need to buy the book. As long as you go to class, take notes, and practice the homework, it should be an easy A. I highly recommend her for Business Stats.

Whewww Chilaayyyyy!!!!!! Stats is HARD!!! But she is an amazing professor! I loved her class. You have to put in the work and effort but overall she is great. She replaces the lowest test with a final and gives extra credit. Shes fair and understanding but doesnt allow students to get past her. One of the best professors here. U will pass with her!

Please disregard any negative comments made about Professor Moss. Yes, on some of the tests excel would have been easier. However, if you put in the time and work, its a very fun course. You get a cheat sheet on each test, but study for them because it only helps so much. Professor Moss is an amazing professor and I highly recommend her to anyone.

Pretty good professor. She is really nice but her lectures may seem boring at times. Make sure you go to class because since she does not have an attendance policy it can be easy to want to skip. Overall, a pretty good class and the final is pretty easy.

Dr. Moss was always willing and available to answer questions. She was kind, open, and listened to me. She was happy to answer me whenever I had a question. Dr. Moss was also very engaging and passionate about what she taught. She made BUSA 3131 a lot of fun! I loved her teaching style. I would definitely take her again! ^-^

Professor Moss is a very sweet professor. Her lectures and homework assignments are very easy. But, her tests are difficult. My class average for tests are always very low and we aren't sure why. Definitely take time to study outside of class and ask questions. She might curve tests. Other than that, she's really great. 10/10 recommend

I'm not going to lie, I rarely attend the lectures and that has definitely shown on my exam grades, but shes a super sweet lady and she teaches you everything you need to know, so that's all on me. If you actually attend the lectures you'll do just fine. She is really kind, just pay attention to the class unlike me. I really like her

Lovely woman, very sweet and genuine. She cares about her students a lot. However I will say this course can be difficult without prior statistics knowledge. Class is taught through Excel but can't use Excel on exams. Learn how to do problems on TI-84 calculator and its easy. You get to have a sheet with whatever you want front and back for exams.

Professor Moss was such a sweet lady. She is very good at teaching and basically repeats the concepts in each lecture to really get the material into your head. She teaches you how to use excel to calculate almost everything so just make sure to follow her steps. The course is not the easiest but with her teaching it you will be fine!

This class is basically statistics but with a business emphasis! Dr. Moss is great, you get a cheat sheet for each exam. The homework is really easy, you get about 4 tries per question. The class is definitely test heavy, not a lot of curves, but if you practice the practice questions and slideshow problems + try on the homework, you'll do fine.

Bus Analytics is hard, but she makes it short and simple. Just go to class and pay attention and copy everything she does. It'll be just like the homework and tests basically. That's all there is to it. I slacked in the beginning by not paying attention, but all you gotta do is at least pay attention to the Excel formula she uses. Online tests.

This course itself is just very difficult. Professor Moss is so sweet and willing to help. The only bad thing is she teaches 100mph. If you don't have the PowerPoints pulled up along with her, you'll be lost within the first 5 minutes of class.

Dr. Moss is such a sweet person and you can tell she cares about her students. She's always More then willing to answer whatever questions you have. However, the tests in this class are extremely difficult. You really need to read over class lecture notes and excel class assignments in order to prepare yourself. The Final was hard, no extra credit.

Never went to class because her lectures were very boring. You can survive off of the power points she posts online. Tests were doable because they were online and open note. Not a hard class at all. I have heard her class is easier than her husband's.

She was a great instructor, but tests were far harder than any material covered in class. She gives you a good foundation, but it's up to you to understand what you're doing. No real extra credit, Grades based solely on HW and online exams. Open note and open book exams, but still very tough.

Dr. Moss is an extremely sweet lady and a good professor, but this class is not set up well. Having it in a big lecture hall (no other option) isn't optimal, it used to be in the labs and needs to go back to that. Exams are online, but you can't skip a question and return to it later, which doesn't make sense. Tough cumulative final worth a lot.

This is honestly the best professor I have ever taken. This is a difficult class but if you just show up to class and put in the work its an easy A. I even made a 58 on the first exam but once I put in the effort I got 86's on the last 2 exams. She is caring and the nicest lady ever, def get to know her!

I remember how hopeless I felt at first because I never understood any of her lectures. I never stopped going to class. One day, everything started making a lot of sense. I went to her office hours to seek further help. She was always willing to help me. Exams are easy, once you understand the concepts. Go to class and her office for more lessons!

I honestly felt like she could've used video lectures just to help out students who cannot really learn excel by coming to class and viewing lectures on the board or on her own spreadsheet. But, besides this, she's a really amazing person and she teaches really well, explaining concepts over and over and over again.

Course Eval. time! Janet Moss has told us that she is suppose to be retiring this semester. She is a very sweet professor but also very knowledgeable. Her course (to me) wasn't all that bad. Her words can seem confusing as she writes on the board but as long as you understand Excel and the functions behind it, you should be good!

The class is hard, but she isn't a bad professor. She works out a lot of examples, just make sure you go to class because the material does get hard as the semester goes on. The exams are pretty tough, but the homework grade helps your overall average.

Although this will be her last semester at Georgia Southern, I felt the need to express how wonderful a professor Mrs. Janet Moss is. She is so good at her job! Business Analytics is NOT easy, but she is so patient with her students and always willing to help. For me, and a lot of other students, it was absolutely necessary to attend lectures.

You definitely don't need to come to class but coming will help you pass. She is super nice and passionate about what she teaches.
