Very neat and organized - good teaching style, You can definately learn a lot in her class, but she expects you to know every word she says and every word of the book for the tests. Tests were way to hard and study guides were useless.
Very clear, thorough and organized..but don't forget you still need to do your reading. Don't leave studies to the last minute. A&P is not easy - no matter who you take.
She is AWESOME! Her tests are very very challenging, you definitely need to study your ass off. But, she is always willing to help you out, she teaches on the board and makes sure everyone keeps up, has a nice pace. I learned so much. She brings alot of real world nursing application into class, she's a former CCU/ICU RN. Challenging but worth it.
A delightful class. She has a great sense of humor and perspective in the practical medical fields. Her lecture class is a bit stronger than the lab. You will need to spend more independant study time on your lab work; she can be very specific! Know your blood vessels well!

I really enjoyed her class and she is very sweet. The exams are very reasonable and she is very approachable.
not helpful
She actually is very helpfull if you go to her. I dont think her lectures and teaching style suited mine that well- I didnt find her to be that clear. But she does teach in an organized way, has powerpoints that you can download. She's very approachable and nice, and is more than willing to help you out.
I found her to be very nice, just did not like the way she taught.
She is so sweet and nice. She is really helpful and clear. She only gives you what you need to know and breaks it down so it is easy to understand. I loved her.
I only had her for lab,but I found her very pleasant and helpful. She makes things fun and practical. She took the time at the beginning of the semester to sit down and speak to each student about their backrounds/goals, which I thought was really great. I felt that the lab tests were very straightforward and fair. All the material was covered.
makes learning fun!
great teacher!
Very nice teacher. Not too hard, just pay attention and study study study. It is hard material.
Great teacher and a very helpful person! Explains everything in class! Dont really need a book! However, it is a hard class so you have to study a lot! If i were you i would take her!
She is nice but sooo hard.Im a A/B student and studied sooo much to get a C. Her tests are so hard and unfair. Its difficult to apply her notes to her tests.
Too hard.Tests were difficult.Studying does not pay off.
She is way too hard. You put so much time into studying but it does not pay off because of her difficult tests.Take class with someone else
She is wonderful, I highly recommend her for A&P I & II as well as Micro!
Ms Moure is the best instructor. She truely cares about her students and makes sure we understand what is being taught. SHe is direct and to the point. Gives you all of the information you will need to pass the exams. hardly use the text book for lecture portion. Her tests are taken directly from our notes. I highly recommend her classes!
she is an awful teacher!! her exams are terrible and so unclea. she should stop teaching! Dont take her class, especially microbiology
She has being teaching Micro for over 35yrs and get forgettful. Her exams are hard when your look at them it looks like your little sister could probably pass it very very hard if you dont like studing and readin the book dont take her Micro class I hav takin Micro befor and got a B with her class I got a D
Tests are too hard. You study so much and still can't pass them. I went to her for help and she told me to re-write things. I did that and still failed her final. After 30 years of teaching she needs to retire. If you actually want to learn about A&P and get a good grade, then don't take her. Oh, and she makes you feel stupid if you ask a question.
Awesome teacher! I highly recommend Mrs. Moure. She is very clear and gives you ALL of the information you need to pass her tests. It is not hard to get an A in this class you just have to put forth the effort and discipline yourself to study. She is very willing to help you and taked the time to get to know each of her students. TAKE HER!
She is AMAZING. I took her for ap1 and 2. I got an A in ap1 and an B in ap2. Her teaching style is: whatever she writes on the board or says is important to know is fair game for the test. You don't really use the book at all. She's very approachable. You can argue your grade on a teat too! If she never wrote it on the board and she test you on it she'll omit the question and you get a free point. Like any class you need to study or you'll fail. I love her . Best fair teacher out there
This is a difficult course and this professor don't help at all. I went to her office for extra help and was more confuse than at first. Stay away from this professor.
Ms Moure is the nicest professor i have ever had for a science course! Her tests can be tricky, but if you study the material she writes on the board, you will easily pass the course. sit up front because she often draws and writes things on the board that are very essential to her tests. she will stop at anytime and answer a question for you!
Moure does a great job delivering this information. Writes all her notes on the board for you to copy and all her exams come straight from them. Copy them verbatim otherwise they won't make sense when you study on your own. If you don't study the new info after every class then start studying a week before. Questions can be cleared up during review
Very good teacher. Just make sure you copy everything that's on the board. Everything she say will be on the test. She's very helpful.
She's such an awesome professor! Everything she writes on the board can be seen on the test. Anything that she doesn't discuss will not be in the test. I will be taking her again for A&P. She's great!!
Great teacher.
HER NOTES WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE. WAAAYYY TO MANY PICTURES.I LEFT MOST DAYS FEELING VERY FRUSTRATED. HER WAY OF "HELPING" WAS BASICALLY EXPLAINING EVERYTHING THE EXACT SAME WAY. NOT VERY HELPFUL.
she's all over the place & changed the info for the test the day before during thr review session because she gave us the wrong pathway. a classmate had to correct her
Here's the deal, she is all over the place in the beginning. However, tape her classes & re-write your notes. Study everyday! Write vocabulary you don't know 30 times. Say vocabulary out loud so it sinks into your brain. You'll do well. JUST DO IT!
Every negative comment is because the student is willing to put in the necessary time to learn the material. Forget the negative people, she is a wonderful teacher!! Don't take advice from sub-par students who need to be spoon fed information!!! You put in the time and learn the material, you'll get a great grade!! Stupid students need not apply!!
Every negative comment is because the student isn't willing to put in the necessary time to learn the material. Forget the negative people, she is a wonderful teacher! First, this is not an easy class by any means. I just finished the Summer term, took another class with it, I got A's in both classes. The last poster is right, you must tape the classes & re-write your notes WHILE listening to the class again. If you don't put in the time, the only person to blame is yourself. It only gets harder from here, lol..
I've taken Ms. Moure for both A&P 1 & 2. She is a great professor and loves the subject. The class isn't easy and you definitely need to put in time to do well. She is always willing to help when you need it. Definitely recommend her as a professor!
Definitely not an easy class, but, study and attend class & lab for the entire time & you should do well. What she lectures on and what will be on the exam is clear. Take good notes bc she doesn't do legit study guides. She loves the subject though & she is very nice, funny and helpful. If you put in the time, so will she. I am taking her for AP2.
Do not take her if you have never taken A&P before. She is all over the place and most of the time the students are correting her. The labs are for self study and that is all she does not teache during this time at all in lab and leaves the room if you have any questions. Its a very good this she has a SI or i would have done sooo bad
A great professor with a major background in nursing. Do well in lab because test are difficulty. She covers a lot of information and does not use blackboard. However use multiple websites for help. Class is very intense. But a great teacher.
You do not need a book for her class. Her test are somewhat hard so record the lectures and Study. Getting an "A" or "B" is very attainable. Mrs.Moure is a very nice and funny teacher and after the class you will find yourself saying "future health professionals of the world" and "Capillaries" in a British accent. More teachers need to be like her.
Over a 6 week summer class, Ms Moure was able to cover a tremendous amount of material. Lectures were interesting and engaging. The book was helpful to clarify or reinforce ideas but not really necessary. All test questions came directly from lecture. If you attend class, take good notes/record the lectures, and study hard, you can get an A
Ms. Moure is an extremely helpful and caring professor. A&P is a hard class, and you only get out of it what you put in. Her tests are extremely fair and she isn't trying to trick you. Taking good notes and then following through with studying is key to getting an A or B.
Mrs. Moure is an amazing person and teacher. She loves her job and loves to educate her students. Her lectures are fun and interesting, she makes jokes but also gives you real life examples of how the material relates. Ive taken her for A&P1 and A&P2 and I would take her for anything she teaches. Tests do test you for understanding of the material
Best professor I ever had, and I have had many!! 2 Lab tests and 3 Lecture exams. No extra work. She is very clear on the information you need for her exams and does not try to trick you. She will tell you exactly what you need to know for all exams. Get her ok to record her lectures; it helps a lot. Book is not required but I read it for myself.
She seems a nice person, but not very approachable. She's very distracted and in a hurry. In this class, you DO get spoon-fed info, and you're expected to simply memorize, not understand. I don't expect to get better than a C or B, even though I study a lot. I use the text often to clarify her confusing lectures.
Tells you what you need to know for tests and then makes them incredibly brutal. Only 5 grades so if you mess up in the first two or three you're done. Need to take again because her tests were so hard.
Mrs. Moure is a very old-school teacher: doesn't present material in a way that helps understanding, just creates lists for you to memorize, but gets annoyed if you're confused. She's not clear about what you need to know for practical unless you bug her, which gets her mad. DO NOT take her if you're not good at memorization.
Ms. Moure is a difficult professor, her study guides for her test are irrelevant to the actual test itself. No extra credit is given. There are 2 lab practicals and 3 exams. If you fail one, you may as well drop the class. During her lectures she is all over the place, she will jump from one topic to the next multiple times in one lecture class.
Great teacher. She only gives five tests, but what she expects you to know for the tests are known. Her study guides actually did help for the tests, but just a heads up the tests are not multiple choice. Helpful in trying to understand the material, but you also need to ensure you're in class. Tests are based solely on what she says during lecture
Ms. Moure is the best professor I've had since I've started college. There are 5 tests that make up your whole grade. If you study a little every day you'll be good. She gives a quiz every class that isn't graded. They're just to help you study the material. She's very personable and caring towards her students. I will be taking her bio 221 class
It sucked only having tests for grades but I made it through. It's not impossible to do well, just work hard. A&P is tough no matter who you have in my opinion. She's nice, just make sure that you don't have side conversations during lecture because she will call you out (I mean you shouldn't be talking anyway). Record the lecture!
Two lecture exams, two practical exams, one final. Whatever she writes on the board during lectures are the only things we were tested on. She lets us stay for however long we need to during lab but doesn't require us to stay the entire time. She gives quizzes every class but they don't count-just wants to see if you're keeping up with studying.
Ms. Moure is an amazing teacher! She is funny, caring, and very knowledgeable! I couldn't imagine taking this class with anyone else! She also gives useful facts that you'll need to know once you become a nurse! But beware, there are only 2 lecture tests, 2 lab practicals, and 1 final so STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!
DONT SKIP CLASS!!!! Exactly what is given in lecture is on the exams. She is very willing to help although her exams are tough, but fair. You need to know EVERYTHING she gives you in class for her exams. I put A LOT of work in, asked her for help, and got an A.
She can tend to jump around a little, but is a great teacher. She doesn't expect you to know anything that she doesn't write down. You will definitely need to study outside of class, and it helps to read your book. Grading is ONLY tests and ANYTHING she has given you to write as notes (which is A LOT) is fair game. The class is not easy at all
I took Dr. D. Kifle last semester and totally failed this class. DON'T EVER TAKE HIM! I ended up taking Moure for a 6week Summer class and passed! She is an awesome teacher. Straight and to the point. She wants you to pass. Everything that is on the test she writes on the board. Copy that and study it and you'll pass.
I will say that I passed all her tests with a B average but she tends to be disorganized on the board when writing. We already finished righting notes for one topic and she goes back and adds more stuff but we already finished taking notes and it's hard going back and adding more b/c it could mess your notes up and confuse u. I never bought a book!
she is really funny I really don't rate other professor. However, she is amazing what she write on the board thats the only thing you need to know for the exams!!! use you book to widen your knowledge on the material. SHE DO NOT GIVE EXTRA CREDIT! so you have to work really hard to pass. her exam are really good TnF and fill in the blank only!
Moure is a true inspiration to the teaching profession for us students. Just when life throws lemons, lemonade is made after taking her class.
She's amazing she'll know if youre not putting your 100%, but rest assured she always will. Shes really funny, and takes good notes on the white board. pay attention to everything she says, and take good meaningful notes, and youll be okay. just flipping through notes for 2 mins before class will help a lot. no textbook necessary. dont waste $$
If she says something write it down, if she writes something on the board write it down. Learn all of it. Be able to teach her notes to someone else and then you will do well on her exams. 3 lecture exams 2 lab practicals, no extra credit, very interesting class
I would take Professor Moure for every class, if I could. She was engaging and easy to talk to. Her tests were difficult, but only covered what she had written on the board during classes. Be prepared to take lots of notes and study hard! YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY TAKE HER CLASS!
Professor moure is amazing! Her exams are difficult, but if you really put in effort, youll pass her class! I recorded all my lectures, re listened to them and studied my notes. You have to stay on top of studying because one day that you miss will throw you completely off.
I loved her so much I took her twice. both for A&P I & II. you get five or six big test grades, but for AP2 she gave out some extra credit which helped a lot. Her analogies are peng and she will help you if she sees youre putting in the work and have genuine questions that you want to clarify about the material. Real-life application of content
Heavy class, but shes better out of all of them
would not recommend. no powerpoints with words. writes everything on white board quick. unclear what to study or expect on exams. exam setup nice but they are super hard. kinda mean professor.
Very confusing. She skips around lecture a lot and does not clarify things. Her tests are extremely difficult. I am retaking A&P 1 to get a better grade.
REVIEWS DONT MATCH THE EXAM. FILL IN THE BLANK AND TRUE OR FALSE QUESTIONS (NO MULTIPLE CHOICE) STUDY AND YOU MIGHT STILL FAIL AN exam. I want to take BIO 220 again to get a better grade. Wont be taking her again. BEWARE! Very nice, but very forgetful an very old school.
Ms. Moure is one of the best professors I have ever had. Her class is not easy, but you learn what you need. She is very nice and available for office hours help. If you study, you will pass the course. I plan on taking Ms. Moure for A&P II .
A great professor for AP1. She gives very detailed lectures and takes lots of notes on the board. She gives quizzes the beginning of every class so be prepared for that. The only thing she does not give out papers and your grade is based on exams only. However, she does do everything she can to make sure that you understand the material.
Ms Moure was a wonderful teacher! She only grades you on 3 exams, nothing else. But everything you need for the exams is written on the white board. If you take good notes, and study hard you will easily pass! I am taking her again for a&p 2!
I absolutely love her. Taking her for Biol 221 online. I wish she taught ALL of the classes I needed. I got a C in 220 with another teacher. Im definitely going to retake AP1 with her. She teaches the material and EXPLAINS things very VERY well. I would recommend her for people who have a hard time in the science classes!!!!!!
Professor Moure is one of the best professors I have had so far at CCBC. Take notes and study hard for the tests and you should be able to pass her class with a good grade. A&P is hard material but with your own dedication she is the best professor to guide you in this course. I look forward to Bio221 with her.
I took Professor Moure for AP1 and just completed her AP2. Anatomy and Physiology is not easy but Professor Moure will provide you with the tools you need to succeed. Show up,do the study guides, take notes, re-watch her videos on subjects you don't understand, ASK QUESTIONS, and you will do well. She is by far one of the best professors at CCBC.
Very confusing and difficult when teaching Hard exams
Professor Moure is a great teacher. She truly understands her craft. I love how she structures her class with only 3 exams for lecture and 2 lab practical for lab. A&P is already a hard class but she makes it very understandable. There is no homework so you have have time to study. It is VERY important to take good notes.
I only had her for A/P 1 Lecture. She takes the time to go over every element that you need to know to pass. She has study guides to do after every lecture and welcomes questions or clarification on any subject. She knows this is a hard class and does her best to make it a little easier for everyone. The book is not mandatory but definitely helpful
I had Mrs. Moure for AP I and AP II. She is the best professor I've ever had. She relates the content in class to the real world and is great in lecture. Your grade is based off of lab practicals and tests only. Copy exactly what she writes on the board and you will be golden. 100% recommend her!!! She cares about her students and is passionate.
Amazing professor- very engaging lectures. Must learn to take good notes to do well in her class. Do the worksheets and come to review sessions prepared and you'll do just fine on the exams. Do NOT use your phone during her class, this is your warning. Exams do not have multiple choice, all fill in the blank/written response. Taking again for AP2!
Although there is no extra credit in her class, she gives you several worksheets to make sure you understand everything you need. 2 lab practicals and 3 lecture exams are all exams in the whole semester, remember to take good notes. She grades quickly, generally, you will receive feedback in 4 hours after the exam.
Knowledgeable professor, always up to date on current physiological topics. Course is graded by 3 lecture exams & 2 lab practicals. Must copy everything she writes on the board if you want to do well on exams. PowerPoint's are just images to reinforce the concepts she lectures on. Do her worksheets and review your notes and you'll pass the course!
The professor was very nice and friendly. Considering AP ll is such a heavy course she tries to make it fun, but that isn't very easy to do because its so much content. Attendance isn't mandatory but if you miss class good luck on passing, because even if you get the notes from a classmate it will be hard to follow. But good luck!
She has horrible hand drawings on her tests, but you're expected to know what they are. Her tests are on pink, green, yellow paper. It's like the twilight zone. I felt like I was taking her class in 1975. She continued to tell ppl in the class that "maybe nursing isn't for you" If they didn't understand. If your GPA matters, go with someone else.
Get ready to read alotttt. She writes way too much and lab isn't easy either lol
Miss. Moure is a lovely and caring professor. Just attending her class and taking good notes. All the exam are in the notes and worksheets.
Antiquated way of teaching. She probably has not changed her tests or teaching style since the 70s. She has hand drawings on her exams. Hand drawings. Squares that are supposed to be axons or something. Horrible. I have nightmares about her and this class. Avoid if you can. Seriously.
Amazing teacher and makes lecture easy. Notes and PowerPoints enough to pass the class. Lab is also pretty interesting!
wonderful lectures. makes it easy. a lot of materials. helpful hours. she gives a second incase of an emergency
extremely rude and unprofessional. condescending if you don't immediately understand something. mocks and talks about her students to other students in the class. often forgets the information she is teaching and will randomly throw information at us after we've started a new topic. material isn't hard but if you can't learn independently, run.
Professor Moure is a gem ! Anatomy is a tough subject and i guess it not easy to teach it either. at first it seemed like we were learning too many topics at the same time,( a little here,a little there) but it later connected and this is the nature of this subject. it requires you put in time, (i think half the class got A)
She probably has not changed her tests or teaching style .She has hand drawings and she just used blackboard and writes. Horrible. I have nightmares about her and this class. Avoid if you can. Seriously.
Professor Moure is an extraordinary teacher! Her style of teaching is old school with a lot of writing which ensures retention of the material. No multiple-choice tests (all fill-in-the-blank). I am finishing nursing school and cannot thank Mrs. Moure enough because everything she taught was extremely useful in all of the nursing classes.
If you study and ask questions, you'll pass. The notes we take, is the info that'll be on the test. I think most people fail to realize this is college. We have to do outside work along with the info she gives up. No professor can babysit us and hand feed us the information. She was a good teacher in my opinion, especially for a science teacher.
Took Prof. Moure for both Anatomies very easy, here's the play by play for an A lecture exams: These can seem hard but, it's important to take notes and review her lecture work sheets. Understand the main functions of the system and then work on the fine details. Lab Practicals: No hand holding here, just memorize the parts of the body, use Quizlet
Excellent professor: take great notes, review worksheet until you can answer the questions without refer to your notes. Key read notes 10 times and Study Once for Best Recall. As for the lab the key is to take the PowerPoints from each lab and use a software to remove all the labels then attempt to label without using the checklist. Best of Luck!
AMAZING TEACHER. really wants the best for her students and will go above and beyond for you. Good explanations/ throws in whole review days before exams which are real helpful. She is note heavy(can't afford too many absences) but they are very simple to understand. Won't need to open book NO ONE WILL HAND FEED U INFO LIKE HER. 10/10 MY GOAT
Professor Moure's BIO220 is challenging, but her clear teaching style and helpful resources like Unstuckstudy make it manageable with dedication. Tests can be tricky, but attending class and using smart study tools lead to solid grades.
This professor is a good teacher, but an awful person . She is super rude and disrespectful to students. She gets annoyed when you ask questions, but encourages them. She has made mistakes grading are exams ( almost each exam we did she made mistakes). She will never be uplifting, she told multiple students to change their career from this class.
Only includes vague diagrams in her PPT's of 40-60 slides and uses entire lecture writing all over the board. Can't miss lectures or else you will be very lost even if you get notes from someone. Jumps around from topic to topic, goes back several times to correct herself, sometimes does not notice mistakes until a student questions her.
One of the best teachers I've had at ccbc. She cares about what she teaches, gives us ways to remember the information easier, and all of the worksheets, study guides, etc are very helpful. If you know what's on the worksheets you will get an A in the class. I reccomend!
