Mrs. Myszkowski is a great teacher, and she loves her subject. She truly enjoys teaching students the intricacies of English speech and writing. If you don't come to class or don't make an effort on assignments, her class will be far more difficult than it needs to be. If you're lazy and don't want to improve your writing. Don't take her class.

I took her class on line and was intimidated by the comments about how hard she is. It's kind of true, but all she expects is that you follow directions and do your work.(heavy work load) To me it was challenging. Good teacher. I made an "A." not bad for a Hispanic Woman in an English class,huh!

Ms. M is awesome in that she is fair and always replies promptly to my emails. I worked hard for my A-, and I got it! She does not give away grades, but if you do what she says, you'll get a good grade.

I really enjoyed taking English 1102 online with Mrs. M. There is a lot of reading, but the selections are all interesting. If you turn in all of the assignments, you will do well in this class. She is great and always responds to emails.

I love her! She's very tough on you but she makes you that better of a writer. She's very quirky and makes her lectures fun. Do buy your books because she does use them a lot in the first semester. I am taking her again next semester. Do not leave early from her class, she will make a surprise pop quiz and you won't be included.

I really enjoyed this class. I love English and writing and reading so it was gravy for me. We had 3-4 papers, longest was 1200 words, and it isn't hard to get an A. I did the hybrid class so we had a lot of discussion boards and online quizzes which were easy with the book handy. She loves English and it shows. I enjoyed her stories. Recommended!

I was never a fan of English classes, but Mrs. Myszkowski has changed the game. She is a great professor and is very helpful. Whenever she assigns a paper she gives you plenty of time to write it and will even help you go over it and correct errors before its due. Mrs. Myszkowski is truly spectacular and I will be taking her next English class.

Professor Myszkowski is old school and kind of strict but she is really funny in a way and always willing to stay after class and help students with essays. Great teacher always responded to my emails within a reasonable amount of time. I took this class online during the summer. BlackBoard was a little confusing when we first started but she cleared all of that up for me. She was super helpful when I forgot all about taking a test most teachers would have just let you fail but she let me make it up.

I personally loved this professor. She provides excellent instruction and tips regarding writing and just life in general that you will find yourself using long after you have taken her class. She is a little strict, but has a really funny sense of humor. I would happily take a class with her again!

Mrs. Myszkowski is one of the best professors I've had. She kept things relevant, only telling us what we need to know aside from the occasional tangent (which was always a funny story and kept our attention) the actual work was a piece of cake as long as you did it on time and followed her CLEAR instructions. If only she could teach everything!

I did well in this class but others didnt. Be aware that this professor expects students to to be responsible by sticking to deadlines and meeting assignment requirements. Her policies are clear and she sticks to them. Definitely not a good choice for immature or lazy students. If you are serious, you will learn a lot!

I really enjoyed her class and I think she's a great professor despite the fact that I took her online class. That being said, you HAVE TO keep track of your assignments as they are clearly stated and after the deadline has passed she's not going to extend the deadline for you. She also grades exactly like the rubric so there are no surpises.

I took Professor Myszkowski for English 1101 and feel she is an excellent writing teacher. She will teach you how to organize a paper and how to use and document sources. She is a stickler for deadlines and expects responsible behavior so dont take her if plan to be a slacker. Highly recommend for serious students only.

Amazing teacher! Mrs M is so nice, caring and funny. Very laid back class. Set clear expectations of students and what you need to do to succeed. Do the homework and you will be fine. Only a few quizzes and three papers that she gives you a detailed outlines to follow. Final at the end of the semester, 25 questions long and she rounds it 10 points!

Difficult class for me but she is great at teaching and simplifies essays down into outlines and gives you plenty of time to write essays. Lots of small grades and very few tests. She's super energetic and thoroughly explains anything you don't understand. One of the best English teachers I've had.

This is an unusual professor in a good way... She is not afraid to critique students in a hilarious way, but she makes her point and tries harder to reach students than most teachers Ive had. Shes never mean and quick to praise when its warranted. She respects students but is also firm in her policies. I liked her so much! Take if you can!

There are 3 essays and a handful of tests and quizzes. The faith of your grade lies mainly in the essays. Unlike the previous English teacher I had, she isnt a tough grader. She is more concerned with formatting and content in your essays as opposed to grammatical errors unless they are overtly incorrect. Grateful to have taken her.

I enjoyed this class a lot! However, I will warn you that you have to read a book and take an exam on it, you have to watch a movie and write an essay about it, final essay is 25% of your grade and throughout the class, you will be analyzing poems and taking exams over them! Janet's provides a lot of videos and slides that has all the info that you need to pass her class. You'll write 3 papers but 2 are only 500 to 700 words, but final paper is more. Mostly quizzes and 4 test but are 10 to 20 questions and 7 discussions. She doesn't require you to use respondus with camera on, only final exam, but no camera.

tons of reading,discussion boards, quizes and tests in her class. however, i loved everything she had us read. super interesting! the papers you write are very doable since she gives ample time. the tests and quizes were a little tricky. but honestly,study + do all your work and you should not fail.
