Found to be rather boring lectures. She did however provide a study sheet with terms and only THOSE terms were on her exams. Exams are not comprehensive which was nice too! If you enjoy lectures and can take great notes, you'd do fine. If you cant take good notes and dont find someone who does in your class you will struggle. No book really needed.

Personally, she's really nice, and always willing to help. Taking ntoes can be rather difficult. I've found she likes to jump between topics sometimes, so my notes were jumbled with stuff we didn't really need to know. Her tests are EASY once you figure out her system. She'll give you a study guide that's pretty much the test.
she makes an outline for the class, she gives you study guides for every test, the tests are over new stuff everytime, and she is freaking awesome. she gives you hints for the pop quiz and the quizzes are easy. GREAT TEACHER!
Keep up with the studying guides in class, and the tests are a breeze. Boring at times, but overall an easy course
she is a very nice professor. she tells you what is on the test and quizs. attendance is part of your grade, but it helps you more than it hurts.
WHERE DO I BEGIN??? you cant understand anything she says, and she will NOT repeat it, even if you ask her nicely. the tests are a joke, way too hard. you could study all every night for weeks and still make a D. She is a bitter old woman, i cant stand her and hopes that she retires! STAY AWAY!!!
The study guide that she provides is in the same order as the test so that helps. However, the test are pretty hard. I didn't have a hard time in college my first semester but this class actually forced me to study and work hard. She grades written assignments very easy and tells exactly what is on the quiz. I would take her again if i had to.
Classes are kinda on the boring side and i love history. She cares a lot about your grade and will help you as much as possible. Def. go to the study sessions held by the GA... it helps A LOT! Tests are a little on the hard side. She words things weird. Pretty easy grade.
If you love history then take her and spend some time after class talking about it. She definitely has interest in it and will help you if you ask. You can do the written assignments first thing and get them out of the way at the beginning of the semester and then just worry about the tests. Study and it's easy!
Very easy. She gives you a study guide for each test.Use the study guide and you will pass the tests easily.
i thought she was very monotoned and boring. she goes straight through the history. but her tests are tricky. you might have memorized everything perfectly but on the test there will be like two answers that can be applicable. and her GA's dont always have the right information at the study sessions. she says she'll help you, but she wont.
Janet P. Smith is a droning, monotonous teacher. She will tell you important information, but disguise it within her lecture. She WILL embarrass you if you come in late or leave the class early... or if your phone goes off... or if you whisper. Don't get me wrong, her class is simple if you can stay awake and take detailed notes. Bring your laptop!
I LOVED this teacher. She was very helpful and actually cared about your progress in the class. She gave out a study guide and would help you on it to be sure you had all the correct information for the test. Easy A as long as you actually come to class pay attention and take notes...you can't expect to pass if you don't put forth the effort!
It is stupid not to take her. She spoon feeds you all the test material in class and in her study sessions. She is strict about talking in class and cell phones. SHE WILL CALL YOU OUT. But all in all shes pretty nice.
janet is rather boring! her study sessions are very helpfull however i have only missed a day or two and i hav a C..her tests are hard..some questinos come str8 from study sessions others are just pulled from her behind..probably the best history teacher but u gotta apply urself
Boring!! But she really cares about history, and her students. I'd take her class again.
I'll just say this.. She's a nice teacher n all and you only have 4 test with some written assignments and a couple quizzes which are all easy.. but if I had to choose between listening to her lecture or plucking my eye lashes out with tweezers one by one, it would be a difficult to pick.
She gives study groups that clarify the test questions. Quiz's are hard if you dont listen. A pretty interesting class.
Smith is a terrific teacher! You have to pay attention and take good notes but she covers everything in the exams/quizzes in her lectures. The study groups help to focus on what you need to study for the exam. She is strict in regards to cell phones and talking, but in a class of 150+ who can blame her?
She was great and really easy. She gives out study guides that are basically the tests (which are multiple choice). Her GA's also hold study groups that tell you what you need to know for the tests.
This is such a wondeful teacher. I have her this semester and she is just so very helpful, and flexible. The first day of class she gives out EXAM study guides with everything we need to know for the exams (which is VERY helpful). Although the class contains over 100 students, she is wonderful with helping students individually and after hours. A++
She is a very nice lady, but I think she's a very mediocre teacher. She makes history boring, in all honesty. She has no enthusiasm at all while teaching. Her tests have stuff on them that she didn't mention in the lectures. Her homework assignments are reasonable and easy though.
She gives out a lot of information to do well on the exams which are all multiple choice, but if you're not paying attention to details, you can end up failing. Exams rel. 2 lect outline!During her lectures it gets annoying when she says "ahh, ahh" alot. Her GA's do a better job replyin 2 emails. Class sizes are always HUGE! Kindda boring at times.
She is a very good teacher. She can be a little boring but it is a very easy class as long as you study and take notes. She gives you a study guide that outlines each test in the exact order of the questions. You also have 3 writing assignments, as long as you try u will get a 100 on them. Highly recommended! P.S. when she offers a review, Stay!
horrible teacher. do not take her she rambles and does not give good reviews if she even gives one DO NOT TAKE HER
Great teacher!!! Test aren't hard if you go to class and do the reading. She is pretty helpful. I would recommend her.
Very fair teacher and pretty interesting in lecture. Tests are pretty hard but other assignments are easy.
If you don't get an A or B in this class it is your fault. Homework assignments are easy, and she gives you a study guide that lists what each test question will be about in order that it comes up on test, I mean come on do you want her to take the test for you too?
Good teacher to take, if you try, do the work, you'll pass without an issue. If you lay out of class, you can fail easily. Only knock is she is VERY liberal and is damn proud of it and voices it in the classroom, but she does NOT grade that way. She is a very fair grader and respects you as a student. I reccommend taking her.
This teacher is not good... She just rambles on and on about stuff we don't even need to know and gives very little information to what she wants on the test. She is super boring but if you go to class and do the work you should at least come out with a B or better... Although, her grading scale BS and if you miss 30 points then there goes your A
She gives out a detailed listing of the topic of every test question. The tests come from her lecture outline that she makes available on D2L. She offers to look over your notes to see if you've missed anything. Slightly boring, but I was very happy with her class. If you are a good student she will work with you all she can.
I was totally lost. She gave us outlines but was never clear on answers. The first half of the semester I tried to take notes but never passed a test. The second half I used her outline and book to study and obviously that didnt work either. I attended every class but 3 and attendance points were not suppose to subtracted but I only had 35 points?
This is the worst teacher I have ever had at ETSU. She can not teach! She is very rude and when she told me I could make up a test she lied...I had a court date!! The writing work is not bad but her test are very hard...
She is a great teacher!
Great Teacher, Gives students plenty, plenty of opportunities to pass, exams only make up 60% of the final grade, all the rest of the points are easily accumulated, if you attend class and the short study sessions you shouldn't have a problem with her class.
Great Teacher, Gives students plenty, plenty of opportunities to pass, exams only make up 60% of the final grade, all the rest of the points are easily accumulated, if you attend class and the short study sessions you shouldn't have a problem with her class.
tests are difficult. go to study sessions they will help out.
was an ok teacher
With minimal studying I passed with an A. Go to study sessions, look over notes before the test, read the questions carefully, and you won't have a problem. Also try getting a seat close to the front, she can be difficult to hear sometimes.
teacher needs to learn how to teach history and not be so bland. I love history and got a C I find it fascinating and she made me hate it.
She is a good teacher. Her class is tough, but she just wants you to learn. She is very helpful. Go to the study groups, they are a big help. Study HARD for her tests.
Absolutely worst teacher I have ever had. She stands in the corner the whole time monotoned and blabbs on an on forever. Her tests are hard and take forever. FIND ANOTHER TEACHER!!! She was happy with one of her test averages being a 62%!!!! Theres 150 people in there!
She was a great teacher. She spoonfeeds you what will be on the tests and quizzes. If you show up for class, take notes, complete the study guide and go to the study sessions, you will have no problem. She's flexible and understanding of your outside life.
I love this class, she is really easy to understand what she is teaching!!!! She doesn't care if you come to class, but it would be very hard to catch up if you mished days. She only gives out 3 written assignments which are really easy!!! I really enjoyed history because of her
I really enjoyed this class, and I was dreading it b/c I usually find history boring. She explained everything logically and it was really easy to remember. Don't miss a lot of classes, you'll be lost if you do. She has tricky questions on her tests, but if you've paid attention and understood her lectures, you'll know the right answer.
Ms. Smith is AWESOME! She laid everything in out the syllabus. She is very straightforward and the writing assignments are very easy. The tests were tough, but just fill out the study guide and you'll do great. Beware of 8:15 classes though you'll fall asleep!
She is a great teacher. She pretty much gives you everything you need to know for the tests. She gives you a study guide that has every thing on it, you just have to fill it out. She even lets you send the study guide in and she will tell you more of what she wants on it. It's an easy class.
Awful, I recommend taking someone else for sure. She is rude, and very hard to follow. I'm not sure what these other ratings were talking about. The tests are hard. I love history, but this class has been one of my least favorite classes during my time as a college student. Trust me DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!
Do not take her. Do not. Do not.
Janet Smith is excellent. She is quick witted and a bit brash, but overall an easy class. SHE HANDS YOU THE ANSWERS TO EXAMS. HANDS THEM TO YOU. If you do poorly in this class, you are simply lazy. I didn't pick up the book once and made an A. She is tops.
I love Mrs. Smith!! You want someone who loves history, knows what it's like to be a student, & takes the time to get to know you? Take SMITH! It's impossible to fail--just show up (I sat 1st row)& she helps you every step of the way. Plus she tells great stories about history's "behind the scenes." LOVE!
I don't recommend her class if you aren't a good test taker. Her test are very difficult. I struggled with them. She gives you a study guide, but its just a general overview of things on the test, so its not that helpful.
Awesome Professor, excellent teacher!
I loved Professor Smith! She helped as much as she possibly could. This is not an easy class though, you must study and take notes. I took notes everyday and studied for about an hour or two and I made an A+! It takes time and work but it's a pretty simple class. I would definitely take Smith again.
Mrs. Smith's class was relatively easy. It requires a bit of studying, but nothing too hard to handle. Her lectures can be a little boring, but if you can make yourself pay attention, you will get everything you need from them to pass the tests. Overall, she is good instructor, but gets in bad moods randomly. I ended up with like a 98 in the class.
This class is so easy! You can't really keep up with her in class but if you go to the study groups the class is a breeze! If only she taught 2020 too!!!
Great Teacher, always did what she could to help, and went out of her way to help someone when they needed it. Take this history class with her!
Honestly, I didn't like her at all. She gives assigned seats. She talks in the same mono-toned voice the whole time she teaches (which puts me to sleep). We can't talk at all or she will call you out (even if it's a whisper). You can't leave early or she will get upset. I was too scared to use the restroom because I didn't want her to get upset.
Honestly, she was the worst professor I've had so far. She's extremely boring and her lectures are all over the place. She also is very moody and so is her student intern. I hated her class.DO NOT take her class.
Attendance is mandatory. Go to class. She tells you what to expect on the quizzes. She has study sessions that help with the tests. Complete the study guide along with classes. Do the readings early and let her review them for you. Turn the in early. It's an easy class if you do what she says.
DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. The class is pretty easy, as long as you work to study for tests. But Mrs.Smith and her Grad Assistant are both incredibly rude. They're hateful, and unbearable.
I hate her class it is so boring as an 8:15 class. I do not like her GA she acts like she is the professor at times. Her test are very hard even if you study. I recommend you do no take her class.
She speaks in a montonous voice, her lecture outline is all over the place, she will embarass you if you walk in 2 seconds late or if your phone goes off. I would not recommend this class for anyone.
I had her for my first History class and absolutely loved it! I wish she taught 2020. The comments about how she and her GA are rude and hateful are NOT true. She has 3 writing assignments you can do and turn in early. If you turn them in a week early, you can make corrections after she grades them then turn it in again. Take her for HIST-2010!
Overall awful. Her outside of call work is easy, however, she is the rudest teacher I have ever encountered. If you're late or have to leave early she publicly humiliates you she's rude if you ask a question and refuses to answer it. Her GA is rude too and thinks she runs the class. Smith also just stands up there and reads straight from the book.
Class is okay, but she is incredibly rude. Even if you ask her for help with the exercises, she often makes snide comments. I can't stand the way she tries to make you feel incompetent/unintelligent. I don't think she enjoys teaching very much. Not professional or helpful at all. I expect better manners from a professor. Try not to take her class.
I liked her as a teacher she took a little getting used to but I love her wish I could take her for 2020. The out of class work is easy and the test can be a little hard depending on how you study.
The class was pretty easy, but Mrs. Smith is very rude. She's hard to listen to, as well, because she stutters a lot and repeats herself over and over again. I wouldn't recommend her.
It is a lecture course so it can be quite dull. However as long as you take good notes it is an easy A. She gives you study guides that cover every question on the test IN ORDER. Also she will check you study guide to make sure that you have the answer to the question that will be on the test in your study guide. I would defiantly recommend her!
Her class itself is not hard, but ther tests are killer. Attendance is mandatory or she will take awawy attendence points. Her voice is extremely monotone which makes it impossible to sit in her class without wanting to fall asleep. If you talk or come in late, she will call you out in front of everyone. Overall her class was a terrible experience.
Alright teacher. Just really boring
She gives study guides which is really helpful. Her lectures are really boring. Listen carefully what she says because she will change what she says the next day. Do not show up late! She says to sit in the back so you won't be a distraction but she will stop lecturing and call you out.
I loved her. She is strict about classroom behavior, but the class was fairly easy. She gives you a study guide for every exam, offers study sessions, gives hints for quizzes, and gives all the answers to the test in her lecture. Her tests are easy as long as you study. Only 3 easy writing assignments. Very relaxed attendance policy. I'd recommend.
Mrs. Smith is a great teacher. She gives you a study guide and class outline that is very useful for the tests. She will even tell you when something will be on the test. She is a great teacher to take.
The best way i can describe this woman is gremlin. Shes that teacher that calls you out by your name if she thinks youre texting. Her tests were difficult. Dont take her, she will make you angry every day.
If you pay attention, and like to study this class is a breeze. If you're like me, do not take it. Lol
Very easy. Gives you a study guide telling you what will be on the test. Gives you hints on what will be on quizzes. A little crazy when it comes to classroom behavior. She will call you out if she sees you doing something that annoys her.She gives you an outline for the notes. Just pay attention and you'd do fine.
This is not a easy grade but Mrs. Smith and her graduate assistant are very helpful. Mrs. Smith gives her personal phone even though she has a large amount of students. Everything is fair. There is a study guide for the test and study sessions. Study sessions are extremely helpful.
Ms. Smith is fair. She lays out what is expected from day one. The study guides are helpful but I found that reading the text book helped when it come to the exams. Communication through email was great, especially with her G.A. Ms. Harrell. You have to study, but overall pretty easy class.
If you like a teacher who gives tests with only trick questions and is remarkably boring with in class lectures. Ms. Smith is for you. I love history, but this class is ridiculous, especially for an intro class. Ms Smith is an awful instructor although you can come to her office for the 30 minutes shes there for help. Regardless don't take from her
I love this instructor. She is very thorough and knows her stuff. She tells excellent stories about the quirks and personalities of each president. She provides students with a study guide, and goes over much of what will be on the tests and quizzes in class (in order). You'll do well if you study and she is always happy to help.
Mrs. Smith is an excellent instructor. She knows her history, and loves to talk about it. She provides a study guide, and goes over much of what will be on the tests and quizzes in class. If you study, you will do well in her class.
The information I put on my study guide, that SHE checked off on, was not on the exam. Spent hours studying the material. Very misleading.
She is frustrating. She gives study guides, but the questions from her test are about her opinions. She changes what she says often so it is confusing. She does not work with students to help there grade. NO EXTRA CREDIT. 60% of your grade depends on exams so the other work you do is a waste. She wil freak out on you if you in any way disrupt.
Mrs. Smith really is a great woman. She is passionate about history, and will help students anyway she can. She gives a study guide before she starts a section, all tests are multiple choice, and she will check your study guide. You get points for attendance and easy written assignments. You can fail the tests and still make a good grade.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! She boring and very rude! She is very mean and her test are hard.
SHE IS AWFUL! i know most of the people who say that stuff are the ones who didn't try or ignore class, but that wasn't me. she is terrible, and i do not suggest taking her class what so ever.
A wonderful teacher!! As long as you pay attention to her lectures and take notes that correspond to the study guide, you will do good. She does not like to interrupted by phones or talking, do you blame her? It is rude to be talking during a lecture or playing/texting on your phone. GREAT TEACHER!!
Class was always interesting and I learned a lot in there. Nice lady, easy to contact, study sessions available, and study guides are exactly what will be on the tests. Hates cell phones, but how can you learn with one in front of you 24/7? Her GA Maegan is really nice and subbed us sometimes. A lecture outline is given too. Would take again! :)
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! It is the most boring class I have ever taken. She does not explain anything at all, she basically reads off facts. I feel like a professor either makes you love or hate history, and she makes you hate it.
I felt as if her lectures were very scattered and hard to follow in correspondence with the text we are given. I ended up having to compare notes to the book to her lecture outline to figure out what information needed. Very scattered, unclear and hard to follow. Don't take.
She is never clear with anything she says. Her lectures are confusing, and she speaks in monotone. She's not a bad grader, but most things are multiple choice anyways. The test questions come almost directly from the study guide in the exact same order. She's strict on cell phones and attendance.
Tests are super easy and if you are at all interested in history, you will pass easily. Lectures are a bit boring but if you just show up, get your attendance points, and do an easy writing assignment once a month you'll pass easily. No sleeping or cell phones during lecture, and you'll be just fine with her. go visit her in her office.
I thought the tests were relatively tough. The lectures are fairly boring a lot of the time unless you really like history. She said you're allowed four absences until it impacts your grade.
Class and test wasn't super hard. Go to class, pay attention, get a decent grade. It may also be worth mentioning I am a history major so...
Mrs. Smith wasn't an awful teacher but sometimes she lectured things that were different from what the book said which is inconvenient because she makes you refer to the book to understand things better. The big problem I had with her, however, was that her test questions often had two possible answers. Not the end of the world if you have her tho
Attendance is definitely mandatory! The lectures are long but the information is rather interesting. She gives a lot of opportunity for those who don't understand. You should definitely take advantage of the study sessions and visiting her at office hours. All in all this is a pretty good course and she's an alright teacher!
The lectures were very boring. If you need help, go see her. She gave me extra credit for talking to her about an assignment.
Skip class you WONT pass. Her tests are hard but not impossible. Put forth effort and you'll get a good grade. Old and monotoned but not terrible.
Respectful woman. She has a lecture outline that she swears by. All exams are multiple choice but to me they were tricky.
Honestly, easy class. You just show up and study a couple times a week and you can pass easily. She tells you what's on the next quiz or test questions. Easy class, just show up and listen. She's a little boring but she knows what she's talking about.
Just show up and study for her tests. I recommend the study sessions because you get every single answer for all of her tests. She even tells you what is going to be on her quizzes days before. Her lectures are boring, but overall it's a fine class adn an easy A if you try
3 easy writing assignment on D2L, & 4 exams. Just come to class and take good notes, she makes you take your own. even if you do bad on the exams you'll still pass bc of the other work she gives. Overall I grew to love her and even though her lectures are long, she is a pretty good story teller as long as you pay attention. she doesn't like phones
She provides you a lecture outline as well as study guides for every exam. Written assignments are also not overly difficult. Attendance is crucial and do not have your phone out. Her lectures vary from being kind of boring at times to great stories. I found that she is a great teacher, I learned a lot from her. I would gladly take her class again.
Tests are confusing. NO extra credit. Went to every class, studied atleast 2 hours for each test and still made a low B.
It is not the easiest class, but I would take her again.
Dr. Smith is a professor that you will get some education from regarding history. She is most helpful if you are making an effort and if you take the class seriously. She had an amazing graduate assistant that was most helpful. She has study sessions for the 2nd and 3rd tests for the class. DO NOT MISS THEM! I would take her for another class!
I love history but her guessing games are ridiculous. She gives a study guide, tells you exactly what you need to know. You would think an A+ is gift wrapped for you. When you get your exam there is either more than one correct answer or all the choices are incorrect. 3 students did get an A in the class so it is possible.
She is a fantastic teacher. I was told she was terrible by many people. They were wrong. Easy class, great lectures. If you want to learn, take her. Wish she taught history 2020. I used the textbook a total of ten minutes all semester. Writing assignments were a piece of cake. If you are lazy you will not pass
She tells you what to study for quizzes and tests, but the answers are really confusing on the test if you dont read carefully. she doesnt give extra credit (wouldnt be bad if her grading system didnt suck) Honestly, as much as I dont like her, she is probably one of the better history teachers. FYI: The book is a better teacher
Be ready to take a bunch of notes! Smith was very interesting and I enjoyed her class, but there weren't many supplements to help pass the course. Just listen to her lectures and follow the study guide, and you should be okay.
She gives really long lectures which are really boring. She doesnt like you coming in late, leaving early, etc she will call you out in front of the entire class. However, you can send her your own study guides to her for test or attend study sessions but not both.
She's a nice enough lady but honestly she'll put you to sleep with her dull lectures and monotone voice. If you skip class and miss the quizzes you'll not do so good. She issues 3 exams and if you mess up on one it effects your grade way more than other classes. No supplemental work to balance exams out.
Her lectures are long and boring and put me to sleep. Her slideshows and videos aren't really helpful nor her review. You basically just need to take a lot of notes and have room to write a lot of information about it and study that and try to learn that on your own.
Really great teacher. You have to be ready for lectures though. Note taking is essential. If you miss a class, you'd better read the book to catch up. Gives opportunity to improve your grade. If you are lazy, I would not suggest this professor.
Her lectures are often long and boring- she often puts on short videos to take notes on. There's not a lot of buffer grades, so if you slack on anything, it's a big hit to your grade. She follows a lecture outline and always gives us study guides before starting the chapter. Sweet lady- likes you better if you sit in the front row.
I had her for history and I dreaded going in the morning. The lectures were very long and boring. She is a stickler if you are late and will embarrass you. I had her at 8:15. She doesn't grade many things so you must make high grades on the select few assignments. I wouldn't take this class again if someone paid me!
I wasn't looking forward to taking this history class, as I am a foreign student and had heard very little of US history beforehand. However, Ms. Smith made me understand the material far better than I expected, and I was able to get an A. If you do the work, you'll do well. You'll find that she's very eager to help you if you just ask.
Ms. Smith seems like a nice person, but her class is very difficult to do well in. She only gives 3 tests and 6 other small assignments. Her tests are made to trick you and were extremely hard for me even with hours of studying.
Mrs. Smith was a great professor. She always seemed very sincere and eager to help. This class was lecture heavy, but I didn't mind it. As long as you take good notes, you never have to read the book (although I would suggest doing just that).
This was a large lecture class and her lectures were very boring, but she gives you a study guide before you start a new section you know exactly what you need to listen for. Her tests are multiple choice and they aren't hard, but you need to study your notes so make sure you take good ones!
She lets you know exactly what you need to study for each test and quiz. Her lectures are a bit boring, but she lets you out early. All in All, it could be a lot worse.
She lets you review every test and quiz taken. Offers extra study twice a week, no extra credit allowed. Assigned seats for attendance as the class is large. Great lectures, always kept me engaged and interested. Wish Smith taught other classes as she is one of my favorite teachers ever!
Great class, but very hard. You need to study a lot. Attend the study sessions if you can.
I absolutely loved this class, she is a very clear lecturer and goes off of a lecture outline she puts on D2L. She also gives out the study guides to her exam at the beginning of each unit to follow along with and at the end of each unit tells you essentially what each question will ask in order. Her class really made me love history again.
Ms Smith is a wonderful, caring professor that is more than willing to help you get a good grade in her class, you must show up, read the assigned work, take good notes and go see her if you have any questions. I recommend sitting up front and to the right in the class room, if the microphone goes out, you can still hear her loud and clear.
I thought Ms. Smith was a great lecturer! I have read several reviews saying she was boring it's history. She was so hilarious! She gave VERY EASY assignments, not to say you didn't have to pay attention but easy. Test were a little tough sometimes but mainly if you don't study like you should and some I admit I didn't. I would take her again.
A lot of work
Her study guide doesnt match the tests. She uses super hard trick questions and her lectures cover nothing on the test! DO NOT TAKE HER!
She cared very much that students passed. Always made sure to remind students of upcoming assignments. Supplied a study guide that made it easier to take notes only on the information you needed for the exams. The study guide made it so much easier to study. Also the day before exams she told basically what each question will be so you can prepare.
The exams are very difficult. After the first one you will know what to expect. The only issue with that is she offers no extra credit and you seriously are graded by few things. If you bomb the first exam like most of the class did and will you ruin your chance for an A in the first few weeks. I would avoid if possible this class ruined my 4.0 GPA
I had a 4.0 before I took this class and got a D. Her exam study guides aren't even close to what is actually on the exam and she expects you to know insignificant small details. Very rude as well. Stay away from Janet Smith if you want to receive a decent grade or don't want to be insulted.
