She is boaring, but her slides although very repetitive is strait from test. you definetly have to studying to get above a c.

She is very nice and if you have questions for her about ANYTHING, she will help you during office hours. BUT her lectures are very boring, her tests are pretty hard, too. She goes pretty fast and there is a lot of info on tests. She's good though.

Lectures are boring but is willing to answer any questions. Study for tests n you should be able to pull off a B.

Sometimes a little hard to follow, but she'd help you with anything if you ask. If you know the slides you'll do well on the test.

She is very nice and helpful but harder then hell. She gives you outlines to help study from but they are 2-3 pages long. the final is comprehensive! ouch

She reads off the power points = really boring. Her tests are fairly hard, some tricky questions, but a lot of small details that you'll need to know. You'll learn a lot if you pay attention & study..but if you're a slacker take someone else!

Class isn't that hard unless you have never paid attention to anything about biology. Pretty boring, and it never really seems like she wants to be there.

She lectures right out of the book, and makes it interesting. Very clear and easy to talk to. Tests are easy if you read the book and go to class. I never had to study except the night before, and there is NO homework, which is nice if you're a good test-taker.

She is a nice lady, but her class is really hard. The tests are very tough, she doesn't spend much time on subjects, and you have to read to get it figured out. She will help you if you go see her. There is just too much info to know for this class, and tests.

I loved this class....if you are willing to pay attention in lectures, follow along and do your work, then you will be fine. I really enjoyed this class and I learned a lot! I loved it.

She is a very good teacher and she knows what she is talking about. Make sure you print off all the notes before class. It makes it easier to take notes and to listen to her. Read the book and fill out the study guides and you should be fine. Work and it and its a great class.

She is a good teacher. Pay attention and go to class. Hard test, but you actually learn in this class. You have to work really hard, but the payoff is one that you will definately benefit from. If you don't have a general interest in bio, take this class with a different teacher.

Well biology as a whole is hard. She goes really quick, around a chapter a day. Biology takes a lot of studying. Test are hard, all multiple choice. If you get her good luck, hold on it goes quick, and have fun.

Straight forward, study some, do everything she says to do. I went to SI too.

If you pay attention and study, the class is easy.

She is nice enough but her lectures are really boring. She basically just reads from the power point slides BUT takes random attendance and occassional pop quizzes. So GO TO CLASS. The SI's have boosted my test grades by 10% each time. See if Schaffer is open before taking Padgitt.

Knows what she is talking about. Very nice. One of the best instructors that I ever had. Study and you'll do very well.

She is an awesome teacher and she loves what she is doing and she is easy to follow. Gives you a study guide for the tests and if you know how to do those then you will be fine.

She's not easy, but she's not horrible either. You can get by not going to class a few times because her notes are online. Study Guides are helpful. I halfway studied for each test and got 80%s on most of them.

She was one of the best teachers I have had so far. She seems to really like what she is teaching. As long at you go to class and make an effort you will be fine. You have to study but it's not that bad

Very nice professor. IF you actually go to class, you will be fine. Her tests are directly off of her powerpoint presentations. You have to study to do well in this class. It is very easy to get a good grade if you try.

I can't say she is the best teacher, but she definately is among the easiest. I love Biology, and I love to study it! That's just me, but if you don't like it, at least go in with a good attitude. This isn't a class you can blow off, none of the bio teachers are and you really really have to work hard, STUDY she gives you the notes on ecompanio

Mrs. Padgitt was a pretty good teacher. All the test questions come from the notes which are on ecompanion. Lectures kind of boring because she basically reads the notes...only a couple assignments/quizzes...SI's really helped with this class. She takes attendance everyday which kinda sucks.

Good teacher. Pay attention in class and go to a few SI's and you will get an A. Attendence is taken at the start of every class but is only 5% of your grade.

I like her. If you commit to the class (come and actually study), she's more than fair. Also, she's pretty attractive-- why no other hot peppers?

EASY CLASS. She covers a lot of material, but all of her notes are on e-companion, and she knows what she's talking about. Read the textbook chapters and go to the SI before the test. Weekly quizzes are easy. I never went to class and always got B's on my test.

Overall, she is a pretty tough teacher. It's hard to stay alert in class because she is boring and her quiz and test questions are pretty tricky. Make sure you know practically ALL the material everytime or the trick questions will most likely lower your grade a lot.

I struggled in the beginning of the semester, however, once I went to her office hours she was EXTREMELY helpful and she answered a lot of my questions. My test grades went from 70s to 90s based upon her help. You must make an effort to get her help if you're struggling or else her lectures are completely confusing.

She is very good, talks a little fast but is willing to repeat. Her class is entirely based off her powerpoints, as they summerize the book. I noticed she wrote the lab book ,so I used that to study as well. I have an A in the class and in lab, and got 2 A's and a B on the tests, easy weekly, quizzes. She has an SI and extra credit oppertunities

Fairly easy class, her tests and quizzes are completely over the powerpoints. Randomly checks attendance and will bump you a grade. A grade is very low, (87%). Got an A in the class. Study the powerpoints and you'll be fine!
