This guy is funny.
He's funny in class tries to get people involved but his test have way to many multiple choices and covers to much material, I think it's because he wants people to read his entire book
bah... hated that management course.. decent prof.. but tough tests....
The guy teaches right out of the textbook. Which doesnt make him a bad teacher, it just means you can stay home instead of attending class and just read the book. All in all he's a good prof. but I just hate the way he runs his tutorials.
Excellent prof! He is funny and very helpful! A great man!

Too difficult to get your hands around. Seems to want one thing one week, something else the next. Marks are all over the place and he cannot explain why. Scary.

I am glad he is nice and easy becuz I dont think I learned a thing of value in his class. He seems to have tuned out this stuff and doesnt seem to care beyond doing the minimum possible to get through.

Good exams, but treats you like a grade 9 in class with his seating plans. How he knows everyones name is beyond me. Decent guy, decent class.
This guy stinks. Reads right out of the text and treats you like a 4th grader. It's a shame that his first year MBA course is required, b/c it's a total waste of time.
This course should be titled self-learning for management since the prof is anythin but helpful in istructing us. Don't bother attending class unless you want to waste your time. Good luck getting him to speak with you as well.
Excellent prof. Easy office hours, quick e-mail replies and he tries to know you personally. Great guy, great class.
Thank goodness I had other courses becuz this one was mostly wasted time. The prof has little time for us and his lectures aren't what you'd describe as interesting or thought provoking unless your thoughts were of heading out early from class.
Great prof, great at modelling professional manner. In our class, he tripped up the slackers who missed class by basing final exam on classroom discussions. Many failed, and they deserved it. Not a course for the immature.
This was a waste of time. He cannot teach MBAs and probably ought to stick to the first year undergrad students he seems better able to communicate to. Buy the book, skip the class, and get your A or B.
Class is kind of pointless, which is why he takes attendence. Kinda sux, but you just gotta sit there basically get free marks. Make sure you read the textbook more than once - everything comes from there!!! Oh, tutorials are pointless.
A major waste of time and money. Seemed to care less about us and our needs. He acts nice on the outside, until you question him when he will dril you verbally into the ground without mercy. He'd better like you, or watch out!
Terrible prof AVOID AT ALL COSTS, thinks because he was co-author of the text book you should know it cold, front to back and EVERYTHING in between. tutorials are garbage. sat through the class and got nothing from him
This guy is a nob. Classroom arrangements are pre-historic as are his lectures which probably havent changed since the Flintstones. Students dont rank high on his priority list for help. Like teflon, he easily shrugs us off.
Gone on to be a TA. If you think tutorials are pointless, please skip your case studies, makes life a lot easier on me. Singh knows what he's doing and I can honestly say I enjoyed the classes.
This guy is so boring!! He seems to have lots of jokes at the beginning of the course, but wait till the first two weeks passes, he will run out of jokes and starts acting stupid!

i dont think the guy is that bad, as would many people would assume, i mean do you expect him to know u individually when there are 300 over ppl in the class. He's indeed a good prof, far better than some I'm met, the course maybe dumb, but you have still have to take it, so deal with it!

I had a poor learning experience in his course. He did nothing to help out and hides behind his TAs. Good luck trying to get an answer out of him. You will have more luck trying to stop the trucks from using the bridge.

this class seems easy to start, but dont be fooled it is easy to mess up his multiple choice tests cause some of the answers are almost identical. dont challenge his authority, you will waste ur time. Average class with average prof
Brutally elementary course with unconcerned instructor. Had all this stuff last year in secondary school. Hopelessly out of date material and approach. Too bad it is required.
Large class
Course is not good way to learn stuff. Instructor does not help either. You'd better get good TA or set up outside study group to get high mark. Makes me rethink being a Business major here.
The language skills of some of the posters show why they get low marks.

If you're considering this for an elective, don't. Course is useless and covers way too much information, way too quickly, to be any good to anyone. Go to class, bring a book (he goes nuts on laptops), participate every other lecture, and memorize the textbook cover to cover.
Got turned off pretty quickly into this dreary course. I wish other persons teached it. He does not seem to care about our questions most of the time.
Bus admin management
The rudest professor I have had to this date. He constantly interrupts you during your presentation, and puts you on the spot. Shows little interest to the subject itself. On top of that he tries to be funny with the lamest jokes. Do NOT take OB with this prof.
Exams were difficult. Average on midtern was near 50%. Refused to curve marks.
Singh is a prof who cares about what hes teaching. Classes are mandatory and the project is very difficult. As long as you read the chapters and participate you will pass, however dont expect a great mark.
worst prof ever, read through slides in class, read over the slides quickly for final review, test on something he didn't say to be covered on the exam and expect students to remember every single useless details from the textbook. not approachable when difficulties encountered, such as group member drops the course etc.
Very goofy professor. Try not to take him too seriously or is frustrating. Very approachable, likable, and helpful. Try to participate in class as he tries to get discussions going and class gets really boring if it doesn't work. Expects a lot of info for essay question responses. Take Ethics with him.
Singh is a fair prof. He goes over the slides slowly in class and explains things well. He shows interest in the subject, and makes going to lectures enjoyable

Group project can completely ruin your grade. Gives pointless marks for participation in his class. Quizzes are pretty easy if you study for them, although they may be on a very obscure part of the chapter. Very bad at answering emails in a timely manner.

Most of your class time spent with Dr. Singh is used to generate discussion. Is this bad, well it depends. If you enjoy the professor trying to incite arguments between peers then this professor is for you. If you want to go and learn something then not so much. Otherwise he marks with a scythe and culls your average. Avoid if possible.
He marks thoroughly and fairly. No m.c questions, all essays.
A really fair grader, no extra mark if you don't do well in his classa generous instructor for presentations. He is really interested in chatting with students ,however his exams were harder than I expected
Good prof, teaches well but hard to get a really good grade as it is all essay based. He marks hard but balances and controls mark with group project and 12% participation option. I attended every class and spoke here and there and got 6/12. He does like to chat with students and is a nice guy, but just annoying to deal with when regarding grades..
Useful course
Dr. Singh is a nice guy, but he would rather have endless discussions than teach what is on the exams. Only 5 short (long) answer questions on the midterm. Midterm and exam together are worth 62% so watch out. Lectures are basically useless, you're better off just reading the textbook cover to cover.
Makes you work for your grade. Fair.
Mid-term & Exam Requirement: Read Book to Pass (Fair Marking) Review: Will not Provide 12% Participation-Must interact in each class to earn it. Group Project & Presentation: Liberal Mrking Gives respect to students, but will make you work hard for it. Book reading is must otherwise you are at risk. He is a Good person but TAKE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
He marked us for participation (%12) in class just randomly which is not fair at all! He could tell us come to all presentations and by asking questions from your peers you can get your participation mark or come prepared to discuss case studies, but he only did it once in entire semester!
His marking scheme for participation was highly unprofessional. You will see kids who barely attend class get a higher grade than you and when this was addressed he told me other students' grades were none of my business. When I addressed his procedures for grading participation, he could not give me a clear answer. Inconsiderate towards me.
He doesn't give away marks. You have to earn them.
