Can teach, concise,not fun

Can be tough, have to win her heart! to get marks..be prepared..!

SHE IS A VERY GOOD PROFESSOR. SHE WANTS EVERY ONE IN CLASS TO GET HIGHER MARKS. MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO HER IN CLASS, AND EVEN TAKE NOTES. IF YOU WANT TO DO GOOD IN THER CALSS, MAKE SURE READ THE CHAPTER, AND HER NOTES.

Good teacher, straight to the point, tells you everything you need to know for test/quizzes.

She is very experienced in business field but she is very textbook oriented without very animated teaching. Make sure you will read the textbook before class or else you will not know what she's teaching since she don't explain much. However she is very helpful if you are in need.

Janice is a great teacher...she is clear and concise in her teaching...we are in school to learn and she is definately doing her job. By far one of the best MKA teachers!

Janice is amazing!! She keeps things intresting and gives alot of great examples. She is a fair marker and has the best reviews i had her in MRK106 and liked her so much i took 213 with her aswell. Marketing can be confusing with all the memorizing involved but Janice keeps it intresting

She's always helpful if you go to her class and do all the assignments, you will pass the course easily! She really teaches so you would learn a lot in her class. She also mentioned a lot of real life examples so it helps you to get a better understanding of the materials.

Wow, excelent teacher. Best teacher I had my first semester! If you show her that you care, she'll do her part and then some to help you out. If you cut class, make stupid jokes/talk during lecture, don't show any sort of effort then this is not the teacher for you. For those who care this is a great teacher.

IF you have ability to work hard then only take her class o'wise wud suggest to drop her class n take it next sem. coz she will make things harder for you. She is nice but she makes things complicated and she thinks she is the only one who knowz evythin abt marketing..DUH>>> REALLY HARD MARKER!!!

she is an excelent teacher, although she does think that she is the smartest person. you can learn a lot from her as long as you attend her class. once you get the feeling that she doesn't like you, by all means drop her class.

This teacher is awesome. One of the best I've ever had. Extremely clear and precise, very funny, very helpful. Fair marker. If you know your stuff and do your work, you'll get a good mark. Aim to get this prof, you'll be happy you did!

She is fair, you'll get what you deserve, no less, no more. If you are kind with her - she will be kind back. Doesn't like to be interrapted, latecomers, washroomlovers and others, who like wandering back and forth, will suffer. She knows the stuff she teaches. Exellent teacher.

I took MRK106 twice, this teacher is so much better than the other one that I had before. She is a little tough, but she is very patient to explain thing s to students. NOT a easy marker, but you can find half of the multiple choices from the practical textbook!!

she knows how to teach as she explains her stuff very concise and clear. When the big test arrive, she knows what important stuff to review to the students, which is very important IMO.

Very high expectations. Hard Marker. Lectures A LOT BUT she does a great job at ensuring her students understand the concepts. HATES ppl who walk in late or leave during her class. If you want to learn and be able to apply your knowledge take her class. If you want a teacher that will not teach you anything find another one.

I took her course back in 2010 while I was in the program international business administration. Me and my buddy actually took Marketing again with her because we felt she was really knowledgeable and came from top of her field. With that said of course she has high expectation of her student because it takes a lot to do well in the field.

I got an A. I worked HARD as every student should. She likes to see you participating and engaging which shows that you read the assigned material. She explains thoroughly. Some things are way beyond her control as the IBS curiculum needs change. OVerall, i saw the real teaching passion in her which is not common now a days. A real pleasure!

She is a responsible and tough professor with character - One thing I liked about her she knows what she is doing and she is taking her job very serious. Although she is not an easy going professor but she made my 3hour lengthy class very interesting, I never liked to miss any of her classes. If you are a good student you will like her.

Professor Janice Brown is very knowledgeable and experienced in the field. She may not be the nicest person but if you want clear and organized lectures and deliverables then you should choose her. If you are always late and you like to use your phone in class and you are not so serious with your studies, then it's best to avoid her.

She is an amazing professor. Learnt a lot from her. Always gives good feedback on all the assignments. Always be specific in her assignments.
