She does not need to be an educator. Cannot teach cannot get her points across. Teachers should be mentors for student but she is not. She doe not care about the student. She should be fired fron teaching.
She never really gets through all the material and class ends late but she is a good teacher. She is very helpful and an easy grader. I missed most of her lectures for the first exam, read the text and got an A. The people below are just lazy.
She is very helpful and accommodating to all students. It is not exactly an easy subject and i think she takes that in to consideration when giving exams. So the negative comments are obviously from students who want a grade but don't want to earn it. I highly recommend this professor.
She is so boring, the book is way better then her. Plus she doesn't know how to give proper exams.
gives 4 exams and a project. exams not multiple choice. helpful to attend class but studied mostly from the textbook. almost always ends 10 mins late. no study guide.
You never know what she'll put on the exam and you have no idea what to study.
This is an interesting class and the professor is quite entertaining. The material is difficult but informative.Reccomend her highly. She is very fair, understanding and helpful. She does let class out a little late but there is alot of material to cover in a short time. Usually don't even realize class is over because she holds your interest.
I think she is great. love her class. she is very funny and know her material very well. very Knowledgeable want you to leave the class knowing the material. I will definately recommend her. The only bad thing is that you normally leave class about 10 minutes past regular time. But trust me you will enjoy her.
Those students who added the negative comments all ought to be ashamed of themselves. If you are prepared to take a test, what difference does it make if the test has multiple choices or not??? She's a very caring and patient professor who answers all questions well. It's obvious that people who made nasty comments are just lazy. If you don't want
I enjoyed her and I definitely recommend her to anybody interested in Abnormal Psychology. Very comedic and I'm dumb and silly(not calling her that) too so she appealed to me. Her tests were a lil hard, but it made you think and apply what you learned in class and although I may have gotten angry with my performance on them, they were all fair.
This was one of the most interesting classes that I've taken through out college. She was very helpful and humane. Her class was a lot of work but, if you STUDY, students wouldn't find it so hard. A challenging teacher is a bad teacher for students who are LAZY and does not want to work, this is for all those students who gave a negative comments.
She was great, funny, interesting, helpful and knows what she is teaching. You had to study in order to comprehend and do good. If you want a good quality of education, I would definitely recommend her. I do agree with some of you, she let's the class leave 10 minutes after regular class but, did not feel it. she made it intereting and enjoyable :)
the fairest professor ever. she honestly understands it's a hard class and she tries hard so you can understand. dont get me wrong she gives a lot of work but she is easy. easy A
can't understand how anyone can think she is terrible or difficult. she is so sweet and lenient and if anything students should take more responsibility and work harder if they are unsatisfied w/ grades.
She very encouraging and wants all her students to do well. She will always have time for you after class. She is an AMAZING teacher. The school is lucky to have her. She is Great.
Don't take this professor if you aren't good with fill in, matching and short answer tests.
Humorous, smart, easy on the eyes. Good job relating text to life. (Very experienced in field). Tests are comprehensive & fairly hard. (Short essay, fill-in, multiple choice, & T/F). But, U can do well if U study txt, and HW quizzes. Attendance optional, but lectures help.
She's great! Read the text, listen in lecture and you'll see though the exams are mixed the fairness is there. She's funny too. She cares if you learn and gives you something to think about.
Great teacher, highly recommend
She's very nice and enjoys her job. One of the biggest class complaints was that she always went long (compressed summer session). On 1 hand, some prob. had places to be. But a Prof wanting to give extra time? You can't really fault that. All essay and fill in tests, which requires time for ppl to adapt since she grades unusually. Take her.
Lenzer is the best professor in QC. She is down to earth and SO SO helpful. She makes you earn your grade but you leave class with so much knowledge. I wish all professors were like her.
Taking her now for Mental Retardation. Yes she is very nice, but very loooooong winded. Talks in circles and a 3hr lecture can get boring fast. One paper and 3 exams. Exams are brutal, but no tricks. I would not recommend her strictly on the fact that I didn't find her lecture stimulating AT ALL.
very helpful, very clear, very interesting. always makes herself available and is never condescending.
Sex roles. Her class is very inetresting. She has very good examples. Gives 3 papers very fair grader. Take good notes study notes you should do find. ask for help if needed she is very helpful.
She's nice. Talks SUUUUPER fast, in circles. Unorganized and unclear. MUST record lectures because you miss half of what she's saying if you don't. 4 papers..and two tests which she told us we were going to fail. Why would a psych professor give their students that kind of self fulfilling prophecy? She should know better. Attendance not required.
Lenzer is very nice professor. She is very sweet and down to earth! She is so helpful. She makes you earn your grade but you leave class with so much knowledge. I wish all professors were like her. She was a true inspiration to a future Psychology degree! :) She gives the best advice, good examples... and Honestly She is a good Soul! :)
She's really nice, friendly, understanding, easy to talk to. Talks insanely fast!! Bring a recorder because you'll need it. TON of info, only tested in intense detail on a few things. Tests: no mc! essay question format.. miss one little detail you get points off so you have to pay close attention. very hard. also 4 Papers, she's very critical.
Professor Lenzer is a caring, down to earth, interesting and very nice human being. This class was not all that easy, but her exams are open book, she gives her students plenty of opportunities to recieve a good grade in class and is always willing to help. Just do all the work and everything will run smoothly. I highly recommend taking her class.
i had her for psychological statistics. she's a very cool lady. she knows her stuff. she's a very hard worker and gives fair exams. use the textbook for the problem sets and you will do fine. her exams are open book.
She is really nice, however if your writing is not strong don't take it her exams are difficult. and he is all over the place. she is really good because she knows her topic however she talks to fast
i love this prof!! she is so nice and helpful. read the textbook you will not be lost. exams are open book. only thing is she writes alot!!
You'll have to work and study your butt off to do good in this class, but in the end, you will learn a hell of a lot more than any of the other 107 classes, and you'll be able to carry that over well into the advanced psych courses. Open book tests, lots of notes, lots of fun. She's a very passionate teacher.
READ THE TEXTBOOK IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HER, BECAUSE MATERIAL TENDS TO BE CONFUSING! SHE IS VERY HELPFUL THOUGH, AND VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT SHE TEACHES! DO GO TO LECTURES AND READ THE CHAPTERS BEFORE CLASS AND YOULL GET AN A! ;-)
i didn't enjoy her class. she is extremely fast and everything i learned was from the book which defeats the purpose of going to college. she gets off topic and often gives too much information. she's a very smart person but shouldn't teach this class. for an intro to stats class, this was very intense. if it was open book, we would've all failed.
Nothing great about her teaching. Look elsewhere !!!
This class was extremely difficult not because the material was particularly difficult but rather because the professor made it much harder than it had to be.Her tests are very hard and her expectations are just as high. She is very helpful one on one, so meet with her if you are struggling. She thinks that C is a good grade because its average.
Great professor! She is very passionate about what she teaches. It is not hard to do good as long as you keep up with her lectures. She gives you plenty of opportunities to get a good grade. Copy notes, review the chapters, do the practice problems. Do not take her if you want an easy A without having to do anything.
Taking her class right now. Very passionate and veryvery knowledgable. She writes a lot of notes, at least 2 pages worth. Talks a lot and fast so it's hard to keep up, might want to record her lectures. Open book exams. Exams are extremely TIME CONSUMING and DIFFICULT. If it wasnt open book, i'd probably fail miserably. NOT AN EASY A.
The material was difficult, but she would stop to clarify any inquireies. I atteneded all classes, read all the chapters, did all the practice problems, and am expecting an A.If your looking for a degree and not an education do NOT take her. You will learn SO much from her. One of the best professors Ive ever had.Be ready to work and learn.love her
A lot of notes and it's hard to keep up. The course material is hard but you need to practice and ask questions if you don't understand which will help you do well on the tests. Tests are open book. She's nice and you can tell she wants her students to do well.
very nice, down to earth, helpful, always their for her students, her main goal is not to make everyone pass the class, but to have us carry out our knowledge we learned in class into real life situations. very smart!! she wont be teaching again in QC and i think its a huge loss for QC. you can barely find somone llike prof. Lenzer, AMAZING WOMAN!!
she wont be teaching in QC again but she was so nice. She can be intimidating but all she really wanted was to help her students. Tests were hard. Great teacher.
AMAZING PROFESSOR!! The class is extremely intense but i took her class a year ago and i still remember everything she taught me. I never did the readings. As long as you go to class and take notes and pay attention youll do fine. She really knows what shes doing. And she is more than willing to help you go over things if you meet with her!
The material was not easy, but having her for this course made it so much easier to understand!! Amazing professor who has truly left an impression on me. I appreciate and respect an educator who actually cares on all levels.
I did not like her as a professor. I tried so hard in her class but she handed back the papers late and expected us to improve. I am not a strong writer but I think I am okay for what I have to do. After going to help and participating in class and still feeling bad I passed.
Extremely overwhelming, and lacks the appropriate amount of being easy on students who are learning a large amount of material in a short amount of time. She rambles throughout her lectures and expects you to know everything she mentions, as well as material not discussed in class. Prepare for her exams! Do not take 213 with her!
Very knowledgable, but you have work hard for a good grade - don't expect an easy A. She can come across as rude to students but has a good heart, I believe. May get off track in lectures, and go on tangents, but she is there to help you if you need it.
There was much work to do but lectures were helpful. I learned an awful lot and felt her style was interesting. Lessons could get quite detailed but overall it comes together and has a goal. She repeats anything you need and uses a critical thinking approach with stories from work experience. Really cares and wants her students to learn
She rambles, not an engaging tactic for students. Reads off of slides and then rambles when trying to explain. She does not engage students interest but expects attendance (reads out 100+ students name in a lecture hall, silly/non effective
Shes extremely overwhelming, she rambles on and is not clear on many things, especially grading criteria. She changed the syllabus around 3 times during the semester which just added to the confusion. We had to practically beg her to give us review sheets for exams. Her exams are difficult, if you don't have a heavy neuroscience background, AVOID.
This professor is one of the best psychology professor. She is always prepared and ready to teach, she does give the student a a chance to improve throughout the semester. I took two courses with her, and she was very helpful and caring. I would recommend her to anyone who is willing to study and not just simply get a grade.
Avoid! She is rude, only listens to herself and cannot take any criticism or ideas from any students in the class. She grades exams based on what she wants to hear. She is unclear in her grading criteria and literally only spends class talking about her liberal opinions and experiences and expects you to know all the info she didnt teach. avoid!!!!
AVOID THIS PROFESSOR!! She doesnt give a clear syllabus, she doesnt explain what we are being graded on or how she gives points. Her tests are unclear, and she doesnt listen to students when they ask questions. She cuts students off and IS rude, even though its unintentional.
The professor is one of the worst I've had in queens college. She doesnt listen to students, isnt clear, and doesnt teach the material in a clear way. Her tests are confusing, and she doesnt seem to pay attention to anything but her own voice. She also did not give us a break during a 3 hour class, which isnt okay.
Absolutly the WORST professor of my college career thus far. Condescending, full of herself, and expects students to understand everything on her timetable based on her many years of teaching rather than the speed of the students in the class. I wouldnt call what she does teaching. Go to class to get credit, but plan on teaching yourself. HATE!
This professor is on point and givest feedback as well as encourages along the way. She tutors if you go to office hours. She uses applicable examples and tries to go through at least two problems for each section. She is passionate and maybe that is what students are reporting as her being lecture heavy? I would definitely take her again.
This professor makes you think for sure! Participation is welcomed and she recognizes participation and progression. She breaks down the topics, and topics can be sensitive but that is expected. Personally I like the discussions and think her style is interesting. Projects and assignments are important and so missing class often is not a good idea.
I can't understand some of the comments, targeting her personally rather than as a professor. I enjoyed the way she taught and I absolutely adore her. Like any other class, you have to work hard to get a good grade. She does everything she can to help, the rest is up to you. She has an adorable accent and her facial expressions are adorable too!
Statistics is really hard if you're not good at math but Professor Lenzer give you every single opportunity to pass. She allowed students extra time on exams, she gives a lot of homework so you can earn extra points and she even lets you correct an exam if it was a calculator error or something. Go to class and you will pass.
This professor has a tough exterior, but a kind heart. She wants her students to do well, but she doesn't stand for BS. She is a clear teacher, though a little disorganized and gives extra help to students after class. I thought that her tests were sometimes unclear, but she lets her students make up problems that they struggle with. I recommend
She is a very good professor. Students who find her class challenging are usually the ones who don't study, or study the night before and expect to pass. She can be feisty, but she means no harm. Participation is a must! She'll love you if you show up to class ready to work and answer questions. Even if your answers are wrong, she'll break it down.
Prof. Lenzer is one of the best professors I have ever had. Could never pass stats until I had her. Always available for extra help and very informative. You will definitely have to work hard to get an A but that is to be expected in a college course! Would prefer to take her class again.
Sweet and smart teacher but seriously intense class. 3 hours without break and so many papers and projects. She is very unclear and her tests are wayyy harder than any of the other 213W teachers in the department. She rarely gives grades in the 90s+ and its really probably some of the most boring material Ive ever learned. Take someone easier!
The worst professor ive ever had at QC. She literally made us do Spongebob worksheets in GROUPS (because imagine doing something meant for 10 year olds alone), her test guides are unclear, it took 3 months to get her through 3 chapters (out of 15 in the whole course) and her tests are ridiculously hard for an elective class. Never again.
She's a great person, but a terrible professor. Very disorganized, lectures are all over the place, and her tests are very hard. Her exams make sense to her, but no one else. Also isn't great at grammar and spelling (problem for a professor). She assigns homework and in-class assignments. I'd stay away, but if you can't it'll be a hard A to get.
Her lectures consist of her just reading off a slideshow that she herself didn't even make. She doesn't supply any information other than the slides and doesn't explain anything further. She is the most unorganized professor and her tests are EXTREMELY difficult. Avoid her class at all costs!!!
Professor Lenzer was one of the worst professors I've ever had. Her tests were really unfair and long answers. She was completely disorganized, unclear, and her tests were unnecessarily hard. She made you complete a lot of the work that she didn't get through, at home. Stay away!
she is terribly disorganized. reading her emails/announcements is like trying to solve an expert level maze. her tests are just as confusing and terribly formatted. theyre also really long. she teaches as if youve been in her field for as many years as she has. shes terrible, giving her a second chance was NOT worth it (i took her for 213)
She is very disorganized and not focused. We had 16 chapters of work and we only did 8 of them total. She took months to get through the content. She seemed like she wasn't trying from her unfinished slides, her skipping important chapters, her study guides that lacked clarity and puncuation. Her tests were so vague that you were left stumped.
Probably the worse professor Ive taken at Queens college seriously made me consider dropping my psych minor. She was disorganized we had no idea of our class standing through out the semester because she didnt post most of the grades until the day before the final. Her emails made no sense whatsoever. Funny since she taught us email etiquette.
Listen. To. Me. DO NOT take her for 213w if you value your GPA. I have never taken a harder class in QC. The way she grades is ridiculous. Shell mark up your whole entire draft and still give you an 86 at best for your final paper. Her tests are hard as anything. SHE DOESNT BELIEVE IN MULTIPLE CHOICE. Do yourself a solid and STAY. AWAY!!!!!
Yeah her tests arent multiple choice (which would help) BUT she lets you earn points back for the fill in the blank questions (which is a lot) so you have the potential to gain a lot back (but not all). Shes one of the fairest psych teachers ever and if you try hard you will do good. Some pop quizzes. Shes super nice too. She will help you out!!
Showed up late most of the time. Tests were always written responses or fill in the blanks and you really have to study. Review sheets were given for every test. Very disorganized and I don't think she knew what she was doing. Tends to go into her personal life stories too much and very boring in general....
Topic is difficult but she gives lots of examples and chances to learn. High energy and lots of aspects to the course material but we took it in chunks and I liked thinking of my own examples! Critical thinking is a must in this course but it really helps all around to improve critical thinking skills so again difficult but I truly learned alot
In my opinion, she was a great professor. She has the experience as a psychologist so she gave the class a lot of guidance and advice. He class was very informative and enlightening. If you study class notes and read the text for the exams youll do great. She gives extra credit assignments so if you bombed an exam theres still hope.
Great professor, cares about us passing and will go over a difficult topic multiple times to make certain we understand it.
No. Don't. Just don't. For my papers, she told me exactly how to fix the draft, so I followed her directions. Then when I get my final paper back, she marked the parts that SHE told me to change to the way SHE wanted, I got points off. Bro what?? She gave me a D. She could have given me an F so it wouldn't affect my GPA when I retook it, but no.
Please save yourself the stress and no not take her 213W class she has us revising 2 papers, working on 2 group projects which we have to present and writing a final paper and taking a final mind you the semester ends in a week. She also gives difficult exams and does not explain material properly.
Professor Lenzer is one of the best professors I've ever had in my college experience. I really learned and achieved so much in her class. She's so nice, caring, and helpful! I even enjoyed watching her lectures as I remembered everything, and they were interesting and explained well. She's extremely fair and gives you a lot of space to do well!
Prof Lenzer is a rare gem! Everyone should take her classes. She made me love Neurobiology. She explains everything thoroughly and answers all of your questions. She's always available via email. I loved her class and I have 0 regrets for taking her class. Do not miss out on her! Her exams can be challenging but everything is on her slides.
Prof Lenzer is definitely one of the most nicest professors out there! She is truly passionate about neurobiology, is readily available via email, and gives good lectures! Her exams are somewhat difficult, but she does give partial credit. Definitely recommend!!
You will learn but it's NOT an easy A. 3 papers - 6 papers after revisions & finals. Quizzes, hw, group work & participation. Exams are unique, mc, short answer, essay and matching. The book alone will not help. She can be disorganized which can break you. I'm better prepared for my advanced classes however. She is kind and knowledgeable.
She can be very disorganized which can break you. She packs on a lot of work at the end of the semester. The assignments are not properly planned for the amount of time we have in the semester. When you email her, she doesnt respond OR only answers some of the questions asked. She just is not on top of it enough for the level of difficulty.
The amount of work she gives is so unbearable. Plus, the class is almost 6 hours long and most of the time, it's just her talking nonsense. She's super rude and unorganized.
The course is research and papers, if you're not prepared/not willing to put in the work it's going to show in your grade. She gives you time to submit a draft for each of the papers. It IS a lot of work but she's more than willing to help you out. Pay attention to lectures & slides, promise it helps with the open ended exams. She's worth it.
This course is A LOT of work in general but the assignments are overwhelming. The way her blackboard is set up is disorganized. The assignments are planned out great so at the end of the semester, the workload was extremely overwhelming. She does do extensions if you need extra time though. I wouldn't recommend taking her if you have the choice.
Awesome professor, and made neurobiology very fun. I took her at brooklyn college over the summer, and I'll say it's refreshing to have a professor who cares about her students understanding of the subject, our grades, and us in general. Helpful when we need it and allows for extra credit opportunities.
If you can avoid taking her- avoid it. She is so unclear about her dates, her classes, material, EVERYTHING. Gets so mad and catches an attitude if you ask her to be more clear on things especially with dates. BB and syllabus always said different things and she would get mad at the class for pointing this out. Do not take her.
do not take her. she assigned a ridiculous amount of work that was unbearable. multiple papers, tests, quizzes, homework assignments, and group projects. she was awful at explaining material and was extremely unorganized. I always left class feeling confused even though I did amazing in statistics the previous semester.
Probably the laziest teacher I have ever taken. She literally copied and pasted her responses from other students to mine and we all wrote different things. She is ALWAYS late on her grading. The syllabus is completely mismatched from what she says in lecture. ALSO, she will NOT answer questions in class. She calls them a "disruption".
DO not take this professor. Overwhelming amount of work that includes papers, pop quizzes, papers, group projects, quizzes, homework assignments AND tests. She doesn't give clear instructions and is a tough grader. Not very helpful and can come across as incredibly rude when responding to students who are struggling with the course. Do not even try
Lenzer is an amazing professor! She isn't a tough grader at all and she always curves the final grades! She takes some time grading things but she generously gives points on her exams. I've taken two of her classes and I would take her for more if I could!
Dont take her for intro to personality at all. Her lectures and slides are very unclear. She goes off on tangents about things unrelated to the class. She also gets annoyed at the students for asking questions. Near the end of the school year decided to completely change the syllabus and give more assignments. Her tests are very unfair as well.
Professor Lenzer is a great teacher. Her class is a heavy workload but you will actually learn the material. She is also a fair grader and is very understanding about deadlines. Take her if you are actually interested in learning the material, as she makes the lessons very easy to understand.
if you value your GPA do NOT take this professor. I am a straight A student and I had way too many nervous breakdowns over this professor. She is inconsistent, rude, and very difficult to please. She spent the entire course arguing with other students who are asking for help and its very uncomfortable. DO NOT TAKE.
I can not say anything else except for completely avoid this professor. I am convinced the good reviews on her are fake that's how awful she was to us during our class. She fights with students when they ask for help and its very uncomfortable. The workload is heavy and directions are unclear or disorganized most of the time
I've only been in this class for 2 weeks & it's already a nightmare. Her teaching skills are so bad. The way she speaks literally sounds like you're going down the rabbit hole. No directions, just talking in circles. Very unclear for most of her assignments. Super rude.
She does not foster an environment where students can participate. She talks on and on without calling on people. When students do participate, she cuts them off. Her instructions are incredibly unclear. If the assignment instructions were clear on blackboard, that would be different, but they are not. They are mentioned in the 3 hour class once.
Funny lady but I've had a couple of mental breakdowns in this class already so I cannot by any means give her a good review. Her policy on grading papers is awful as first drafts count more than the final. Considering failing her class means you're out of a psychology degree, while I understand things have to be fair, she is a stressful professor
Steer clear of this professor. 5% of the lecture is what you'll be learning while 95% is a tangent that completely loses you & makes you feel like you'd do better if the class was asych and you didn't have to listen to her. She grades your drafts & you lose points so no matter how good your final paper is you don't have the chance for a 100. 1/2
Nothing is clearly stated, halfway through you're learning what you first thought has been incorrect.Even on the syllabus things are not written as she has explained them.Lastly she seems to not have the ability to understand/accept that she can do a bad job at teaching.Instead she is shady, rude, and gives us more work when alrdy we're burnt out 2/2
This professor is just a headache and gives anyone a breakdown. The good reviews seem fake she's constantly on a tangent, things are never clear, she's rude, and gets annoyed with students when they show they're confused when SHE WAS UNCLEAR. Yes, the work is hard, but although there are bad students, students are only as good as their teacher...
Instructor Lenzer is patient and passionate about teaching. As a beginner, many things were new to me, and she took the time to solve my questions. In addition, she will help you understand the material better if you show interest in her class. That's why I highly recommend her.
This professors score is definitely wrong. She was the worst professor Ive ever had DO NOT TAKE
Professor Lenzer is probably not for everyone; she talks for long hours and is very interactive with the class. However, she is incredibly caring and understanding of her students, and as long as you know what you are supposed to do (and ask her questions) you will be more than happy having her as an instructor!
Do not take this professor. Power Points are totally different from what she talks about in class. She does pop quizzes and her exams are really HARD!!! she asks for a "short" essay about a random topic that according to her perspective was in the power point slides. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Do NOT take her.
DO NOT TAKE!! very unfair. talks too much (not about the topic). very hard to concentrate with her since she's all over the place. her test are made to fail her students. very old school. never had a professor who gave me the amount of stress she did. if you care about your health and school performance... do not take her.
I've never experienced a class where students so often tell the LITERAL PROFESSOR that they're confused, or need a different explanation. She yaps but doesn't teach. Super unclear with every single assignment, and her tests simply just make no sense. I hated this class.
This professor is pretty old school and makes you think critically. She tells you what'll be on the exams, the fill ins were dumb, most were to the point where it was not possible to guess what goes in the blank, can't read your mind lady! She gives you the opportunity to redo some sections and lots of extra credit. Go to class.
DO NOT TAKE YOU WILL FAIL
Talks for LONG periods of time, goes over the 3 hour class rambling about content unrelated to the topic. Slightly condescending when you ask a question and gives the worst tests you'll ever take in your life. Her tests were practically packets of all writing. She's not mean per se but you can tell she has no idea what she's doing to her students.
Tough class with an old-school professor. Lectures can be unclear, and assignments/exams are tricky. But use unstuck AI for great study aids - really helped me prepare. Overall, attend class, read the textbook, and you can do well.
She is dedicated to having you learn the subject well, even (in her own words) at the expense of getting an A. Very heavy coursework, many assignments, HW, tests, papers, etc., but the upshot is that there is plenty of room for improving your grade. Prepare for significant time spent outside of class figuring it out yourself.
I was nervous to take Professor Janice Lenzer's class because it's known to be hard, but she's amazing! She genuinely cares about students learning, gives great feedback, and allows revisions for better grades. Her class is engaging, the exams are fair, and she provides lots of ways to improve your grade. I'd highly recommend her!
She's actually very sweet and respectful idk why people said she's mean yes her exams can be tough because of her fill in the blanks section but over all she's very sweet it is a lot of work but it's a writing intensive so fair enough but she gives good feedback in order to help u out and also let you rewrite she even gives extension if you ask
absolutely not! talks the whole 3 hours even OVER the 3 hour limit and the tests are bricks of writing. stay away for your own sake
she is very understanding she gives revisions on her papers, which is a huge help and she will comment on those papers as well. There is a midterm and final as well as three papers for the class and a few quizzes. There's also a chance to get extra credit Which wasn't difficult yet a huge help. Show up do the work and you will get a good grade.
This is a writing class so expect to do that. She gives great feedback on papers/assignments-follow them & you'll improve. Her exams are a lot, but if you go to class & study well, you'll do great. I wouldn't rec taking class for summer-it's simply too much for 7 weeks-I was stressed-she squeezed in too much stuff. But other than that she's great!
