Makes class fun. She always cheered us up. I learned so much about me and the world. I'm not a psych major, but I'll take her again. Test aren't bad. She does a great review and covers everything we need to know. She is a force that is much more than a good teacher, she is a spiritual inspiration.

Professor Powell was absolutely wonderful. She always offered an inspirational thought of the day and made me feel so comfortable in her class. She gives excellent reviews for the exams which are fairly easy. She is also understanding when it comes to emergencies. I will definitely take another one of her classes and hope the university keeps her.

I absolutely loved her when I took her PSY 435 (Personality course). I loved this class even though I took it during the summer. You have two exams and a big motivational portfolio but it's easy. You will need the books because it's not a textbook. Her exams weren't too hard either. She was super flexible since our class was small with 5 students.

THE MOST UNIQUE INSTRUCTOR YOU WILL EVER HAVE!! At first, you think, OMG, this is the instructor; she speaks without regrets, shocking at first. She does not believe in using standard texts as they don't teach motivation in the best way, so she uses cheap books you can get from Amazon for $20 that really do the job well. I love this instructor.
