Very helpful when you have questions. She gives credit for showing work on exams (even if you have the wrong answer!) Take her!!

She goes through material very quickly and her accent makes it hard to understand, but she's 100% always willing to help you our and really seems to enjoy her job. Very specific about what she wants on tests.

Very Nice and helps out with anything. If you fail test gives you homework problems to bump grade to a C. Take her if you want to pass FIRE, doesn't fail anyone. Make sure you go to class

i am taking her right now and she is the most helpful professor i have ever had. if you want to pass fire i recommend her. she doesn't give partial credit for answers anymore. her accent really isn't that bad either.

Don't be turned off by her name. She is not that hard to understand if you just ask her to slow down. She is awesome at teaching if you go to class and listen. she will also help you on homework prob anytime. She did some take home tests when i took her last year.

Awesome prof! She does anything to help you, she gives you take home tests for parts of each test and tells you that you can come in and she will tell you if you have it right before you turn it in and if you dont she shows you step by step what to do!

I would recommend taking FIRE with this teacher. She is fairly easy (considering its FIRE) and she is very helpful and understanding!

This is the greatest finance teacher at the school. Everyone told me before taking the class that finance is horrible. Not with Janikan. She's awesome, if you can't pass with AT LEAST a C quit school now.

Goes a million miles an hour. Don't skip class. Pop quizzes, but she will tell u how to get to the answer and even what it is. Doesn't use the book. She tells exactly what's going to be on test. She'll tell if take home quizzes are right if u ask her--she gives away the answers.

She is the kind of teacher who think that the best way to make student do well is to continuously work with them . I will recommend taking her for all your finance courses.She is helpful , is always willing to assist you during her office hours.

She explians things very well. She tells you whats going to be on the test. Her tests are by no means easy so study and go to class. This class can come up and bit you if you don't study and don't do the home work and even then you can end up worse off in the class than you though. I have to take the class again and will take it with her again.

Tough class, but a very helpful teacher. She is sometimes difficult to understand, but if you ask she will take the time to explain. Be prepared to work for your grade, because she does not hand out unearned grades. Work with your group, during group assignments and that will help. A clear understanding of Algebra is a necessity to pass.

Hard class but she makes is sooo much easier than it should be. Recommend taking her if possible.

Prof. Supanvanij is good. She does go pretty fast but if you actually put forth some effort it isn't bad at all. Plus she is always willing to help if you come to her office. Do all of the homework because most of the exam problems are exactly like them. Also, she tells you pretty much exactly what is on the tests. I would take her again.

very fast paced but not bad once you get used to it. No points for attendance but you have to be in class if you want to have a clue whats going on. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! completely useless. She is one of the best finance professors in SCSU. Extremely smart, extremely helpful and her mind spins incredibly fast as she was a forex trader before. I've never seen her holding a book while teaching, she remembers everything she is gonna teach & she comes up with easy ways to make us understand. Accent isnt a prob she repeats a lot!THUMBS UP

Janikan is a great professor if you are a fast learner. She is very clear about what is expected (she tells you exactly what's on the test). Attendance is not required but she goes very fast, so if you miss a class you will miss a lot. She is happy all the time and always willing to help. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. I never even opened it.

I loved Janikan's teaching style. She taught all by examples and told you what would be on your tests. The book was useless. Just take notes from her lecture. At times, she was hard to understand, but she would always repeat herself if you ask her to. She's very willing to help with your homework anytime she's in her office.

I love the way she teaches;very clear. Just be ready to increase your focus in class and you'll do well. Write everything she says/writes and you'll not struggle much. make sure you ask her any question you might have, she's very helpful. You'll know exactly what's on the exams, all you'll need is practice till you're confident.

I think those students were unable to understand 300, 400 classes at all. Class was very easy, no need to read book. Everything super straight and she tells exactly what will be on the exam.

No need for the textbook, she teaches everything that she puts on the exam. Tells you exactly what to study to do good on the exam and give you problems just like the ones on the exam. Grade is based on 3 exams, 1 paper, group homework, and participation. Lots of extra credit. Come to class everyday and you will do well. Great professor!

A lot of comments say she is tough but really if you are a GOOD student and can follow along on lectures you will get along just fine. She tells you what is on each exam as well as specific homework questions. Tests are very straight forward!!!! Shes very intimidating with her first day speech but is an over great professor! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Janikan is great! She really cares about students succeeding. The first day of class she made the course seem extremely difficult, which it is if you don't study. She tells you what will be on the test so as long as you practice and put in work, you will get a good grade! Highly recommended!!

She is the best teacher Ive ever had! She is clear about whats important and whats on the exam. If you come to every class and study for it using class materials you are gonna get an A for sure. Her grading system is very clear and she grade everything very quickly, so you always have access to how you are doing. Again, she is the best.

This class is very fast paced. In the beginning, I thought I was going to hate it. The professor is so understanding. You will want to take very good notes. She explains what will be on each test and what to expect for everything. Very good at answering questions. I am so glad I took her class, she explained things in a very clear way for everyone.

Alright, to be completely straight, Janikan and this class are pretty hard. She doesnt always explain topics super in-depth, so be prepared to do some self-teaching. DONT MISS THE LECTURES. Literally goes through the problem sets step by step. Also, skip the book, opened it TWICE and it didnt help. She is a great professor and will help.

Professor Supanvanij is awesome overall. She really takes the time to help out any students who ask. The class work can be pretty difficult at times but she reviews what will be on her tests multiple times and gives plenty of extra credit. Attendance is not graded, but missing multiple classes will make it difficult to catch up.

Prof. Supanvanij was great. She gave clear grading instructions and notes. I recommend attending her in‑person lectures because the material is easier to understand. She genuinely cares about her students, and it shows. There are plenty of extra‑credit opportunities, so take advantage of them. If you put in the work, you'll earn a good grade.
