Always positive and smiling. Not a huge math fan but she made the course fun and meaningful.

I would recommend her all the way!! SHe is very cool and I would easily take her again!! Very good at math and helping her students!

Very intense teacher. Talks alot, makes you participate, which is a good thing. I had her for precalculus, and thanks to her i was able to understand it very well, and also enjoy my time spent in the class. Awesome teacher!

Awesome professor! Super funny, very energetic, makes the hour go quickly. Makes you have fun in math. Not super clear for me at times, but she is more than willing to help outside of class.

Fairly hard class, about 3 hours of homework per night. Pretty eccentric teacher, expains everything very well. Somewhat strict, but fair.

Simply great. She LOVES MATH AND SHOWS IT everyday, as class goes on she uses it as a way to keep the ENTIRE class active for lecture. Easily approachable, helps every student who goes to her, and discusses where they are at individually, (will individually help student w/ personal math setbacks).

WOW...unbelievable teacher. I went in with total math anxiety and came out with an A. I would recommend finding a study partner too, it made all the difference for me. Plus janis is the best math teacher i've ever had....ever!

She is the best professor I have had at SCSU. I would recommend her. She is very helpful and explains things clearly. Tests are hard because she makes you show all our your work. You have a lot of time to finish projects for extra points though.

My Hero! She is so helpful and clear to understand. If you don't get your work handed in your grade will suffer. IF YOU STUDY the exams and quizes aren't hard, but only if you study. her study guides are helpful as well.

This is one of the best professors at SCSU! Her tests are hard- but if you study your NOTES (not the book/assignments) you will do well. She is very approachable anf LOVES math which makes the class fun.

By FAR the best professor in the Math department. She clearly loves her work, and thoroughly understands the material. Questions in class are answered without making students feel stupid. Tests were difficult, quizzes were ok, projects were hard: take your questions to her office hours, study your notes, show up every day and you will do fine. :)

She was an awesome teachers, she was able to helpe you out, the quizzes got you ready for the test, and then when the tests came down to it, the tests, well I was ready for them when they came about. Great prof!

Be prepared to be enthusiastic about math if you're going to take her! She makes learning fun and is very passionate about what she does. I highly recommend that you take her!

Still remembers my name and says Hi in the hallway, even after three years; and I only had her for one class. Gets you involved, which turns out to be a good thing, even though being called in isn't fun at the time. Recommended.

Sometimes it was hard to pay attention in class being hung over, but she tried to make math as fun as it can be. Her tests were fair, everything was explained well. random homework collection kinda sucked, but keeps you doing the work. I ended up getting a B, if I had gone to class more and done the homework i'd of easily gotten an A

Very nice lady. Class is very straight forward and easy if you do the homework. She is SUPER willing to help you if you have ANY troubles at all. She didn't even care that people came late everyday.

To anyone who is good at noticing subtleties you will notice that Janis Cimperman is a very sadistic person. She knows her material and will gladly help you but has a tendancy to "strike out" at students; especially if you're not her favorite student or she has just made a mistake. Don't take her unless you excell at math.

Very enthusiastic about the subject and knows it extremely well. Totally willing to help as much as you like. She may move a little too quickly for some and it can be hard to keep up at times, but if you ask she'll clarify as needed. Involves the entire class and keeps it interesting. If you put in the time you'll do just fine.

VERY FUN! She knows the material well and makes sure that everyone knows her office hours if you have questions. Material on tests is EXACTLY what is discussed in class. Must listen and attend to achieve an A though.

Good teacher. Attendance mandatory because there are random quizzes and you learn more when you attend. Tests are fairly hard- 10 questions roughly with 5 parts per question: get 1 part wrong and 20% of your grade is shot. Good teacher though- 2 book assignments/ week and 2 online assignments/ week.

She is one of the most entertaining professors in the St. Cloud State University.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. If you have the chance to take her for a math class, do it. Yes math is tough, but her lectures were clear and she was organized. Always helpful and available during office time. The best professor I have had at SCSU,so far.

This class is somewhat fast paced. She is very helpful when you need it and a very entertaining way of ridiculing people who are not showing up or paying attention (like me). I hate math, but she makes it bearable.

She is seriously a great teacher! I have had some really bad teachers in the past, especially in math. She makes every class period interesting (even at 9 am). I took AP Calc in highschool and it was a great review, it was pretty tough for precalc class. ALWAYS do the homework, the tests are reasonably hard but if you listen and do HW you are good.

I used to hate math until the very first day I met Professor Cimperman! She is sooo great in many aspects, but most importantly, her teaching! She is the best and one of the only good math teachers I've ever had! LOOOOVE her class!

Take this woman! She makes everything easy to understand and if, by chance, you don't get something, she will not hesitate to help you during her office hours

Everyone is worried about Math 330, but Cimperman was AWESOME!! Very thorough, explained everything, was available if I had questions. Tests were on exactly what we covered! Do the homework, and you will have a great experience with her!

Cimperman definitely knows her stuff. She's very smart but hard to keep up with. Great at teaching concepts but loves to call on students for the answers esp if you're not 100% focused! Don't expect to pass if you don't attend class. No late work accepted. Overall, good professor.

Prof. Cimperman is one of the ONLY Math profs at SCSU that actually enjoys teaching and seeing people learn. She's funny while she teaches. She's thorough. But make sure you're paying attention. If she thinks you're not paying attention she will immediately call on you. She doesn't accept late work though. GREAT PROFESSOR!

Professor Cimperman is an amazing math teacher. If you have trouble with any of the assigned problems see her during office hours and she help make sure you understand it.

She's one of the best math teach I've ever. She randomly pick students to answer her question. No fear, cause if you don't know the answer, she'll explain it instead of making silly/offending jokes like other professors do. I believe there were 4 tests and a final. 100% on the recommending part. :)

Succhhhhh a good teacher! She is always so energetic, not to mention quite hilarious. Explains everything very well, crystal clear. Gives homework, but not too much and not too little, just the right amount. If you don't understand, she's always there to help. HIGHLY SUGGEST HER! I hate math, and usually don't do very well in math classes. Cimperman was very helpful and helped me understand everything she covered. I HIGHLY recommend her, probably one of the best professors I've had in four years of college.

Great professor. Knows her stuff and goes beyond the call of duty for her students. Very easy to understand the material with her. She keeps the students involved so class doesn't get boring and time seems to fly. Also very enthusiastic about math in general which can be humorous and fun. Absolutely delightful! Really clear with her instruction and as long as you do the Math XL work and come to class you'll do fine on tests! I'd recommend taking math with her. She knows her stuff and knows how to teach it.

Best professor I've had at state thus far. I've always had a very hard time with math, and had taken it once before, and received a D. She explained concepts in a way that was understandable, and was great at keeping everyone engaged and focused. If you're someone that has trouble in this course, take her class. You won't regret it.

Loved Prof. Cimperman. Extremely sweet and cares about her students. She explains the materials very well in class. Being absent doesn't hurt your grade but it's extremely helpful for MathXL and tests.

Absolutely fabulous teacher!

Really cares about her students and she is so adorable! There are home works assignments for each chapter but they are optional and you only have to turn them in if you get below a C on the test. There are a couple you have to do and turn in (reviews).There about 4-5 tests and a final, as long as you pay attention and really try you'll pass easily.

She is the absolute best math teacher I've ever taken! She goes slow enough and really explains things so her students can understand. She writes her notes on the board so it's easy to follow along. Her assignments aren't super long, and they only have to be turned in if you get a C or lower on a test (except for a few exceptions). She's so sweet!

Took math 112 with her in the spring and i'm definetely glad I did.. Gives really good feedback and literally begs students to go see her when they don't understand a topic... very helpful proffesor and tells you what you need to do to stay on track.

Content can be confusing at times but she is very helpful during office hours and wants you to succeed. Tests can be difficult so make sure to study! She is very funny in class and takes good notes for students to follow. If you go to class, follow the notes and ask questions , you will be just fine. Highly recommend taking classes with her.

She is a fantastic and caring teacher. I took this class at Ridgewater and was getting like a 30 percent. I took it with her and I currently have a B. I feel like some of the lectures are hard to focus because they are to fast but she is very willing to meet outside of class and help. Do the work and you will get the grade you deserve.

Cimperman is probably the best when it comes to making sure all of her material is clear to every student. Being in class is necessary if you want a good grade because learning in class with her is easier than missing class and teaching yourself. I barely/never used the textbook because her graded assignments and handouts were great study material.

Lots of homework, grades assignments, homework quizzes and my math lab. She is a very good professor. Always willing to help. She want her students to understand the material. Her exams are quite easy if you study hard of it.

She explains material well and is very personable, but there is a lot of homework and she does expect you to know the material very well. Her exams are not too bad if you STUDY for them and KNOW YOUR FORMULAS WELL. Do not miss MML deadlines. She does offer some extra credit, but those problems are extra difficult and you should not count on it.

I love her. I have always been bad at math will always be bad at math, but she knows how to tech a student. She is incredible smart, incredibly kind, and wants to help you succeed. She uses my math lab, and hands out supplemental worksheets that she uses to teach. If you fail her class its 100% your fault. She doesn't fail students who want to lrn
