I loved taking English 1301 with Professor Innis. Her expectations are clearly defined (gives lots of examples on what she's looking for). I took her for winter mini 2016. All i have to say is, if you want an easy A GO AHEAD TAKE HER! I finished all the quizzes in a day. There were a total of 5 essays out of which 3 were super easy, took me 2 hours max. The other 2 essays took some work but she is very easy on grading. I thought it would be overwhelming, but I'm so happy I took her!

i took english 1301 and english 1302 with her and got A in both . she is the best. it is difficult to get enrolled in her class as her class get filled like "hot cup cakes" as soon as registration starts. Mini was very easy. Short quizzes, multiple attempts for each. Reading material was actually helpful. Course is easy to follow. Essays are not hard if you follow her guidelines. Very possible to finish in less than 3 WKs. Prof. will give good feedback on assignments. Light workload for a mini course IMO. Be aware of due dates and you will pass!

I took Professor Innis for composition 2 and her class was a breeze! She is one of the nicest professors Ive met! There will be out of class work (hybrid course), most of which is on canvas. Expect to write a few essays and get ready to put your reading skills to use! Definitely recommend this professor for your English classes!

Summer semester, there is 18 quizzes (4 questions each, easy to find answers in the given material), 6 essays (fairly straightforward, some require a little research but unless you're a dunce at English, it should be easy), and... that's it. Professor Innis is the best professor i've had. she opens all the assignments at the beginning of the semester so the students can finish them early if they want to and focus on other classes. she shows a movie at the beginning of the semester and all her essays are based on that movie. she always let us leave after at most 40 minutes of class.

Professor Innis is by far one of the most easiest and helpful professors. All of her assignments were accessible on Day 1. Be prepared to read the Last of the Mohicans (2/3 of essays and quizzes). Also make sure your do good on all of them and there is no final. Only way you can fail is if you just dont do the work . Shes very understanding and tells you where you went wrong in essays. Professor Innis was a dream for me. I don't like English courses due to all the writing but Professor Innis gave really good feedback and made me feel confident in my work. There are quizzes every other week, for the most part, and about four essays.

Professor Janis' class was a breeze honestly. I took her 16wk online anytime class and it was wonderful. We wrote about 4 essays and had some 4 question assignments each week based on 'The Last of the Mohicans' novel we were asked to read. Honestly don't think twice she's a rare gem compared to a lot of professors.

Cool teacher, took her during the spring semester, wanted to take her class again for the fall semester and had her class selected and payed for but they switched her class last minute so now I am stuck with a professor with not so good reviews which sucks. Was looking forward to taking her class :/
