Great teacher. She is very helpful and cares a lot about the material. We did have to write a 10-15 page research paper that took up quite a bit of time, but other than that the class was fairly easy. I took it online and the tests were online. You need the book because the test questions are taken from it.

Dr. J is sooo sweet. She loves her students and really cares about their success and understanding. The tests and quizzes are moderately longdifficult but she lets you know exactly what they will cover. She is very good about giving reminders about due dates and returning emails quickly. Not hard to make a good grade! Would definitely take again!

She really works with you, & replies quickly to e-mails. She definitely cares about her students & her use of emoji's will make you smile! Very motherly. :)

To sum up Dr. J she's like the "cool mom". Loved her class, loved her stories, 10/10 would recommend taking her again! Learn your terms and make have a good presentation group and you got an A!

Dr. J is an incredible professor. Over an intersession she was so understanding about students' schedules, needs, etc. She gave an outline for when things should be done, but did not have set deadlines. She graded fairly. There were 3 quizzes, 4 discussions, 1 exam, a movie analysis project, and 5-7 page essay. The class was very interesting.

She does seem to really enjoy teaching but I think she should spend more time actually teaching the material she tests over then showing funny videos or telling stories about her family. She is willing to work with students schedules if needed though.

I really enjoyed Dr. J's class. She has a great attitude! I definitely looked forward to her class every week! The material was a bit challenging, as the study guides she provided did not cover testing material. She also told us we would NEED the book, but I opened it about 2 times the entire semester.

Dr Martin is great. She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. I took it in intercession so she suggested we use the one in the biz. No actual due date, just suggestions, and she grades assignments almost instantly so its easy to catch up if you fall behind. 10/10 a great elective class.

Dr. J was such a pleasure to take this semester! She really cares about the subject she is teaching and it makes a fun atmosphere. No book, lots of handouts. Be prepared to talk in front of the class and do multiple little speeches; she grades them easily and eases you into the final speech nicely! Occasionally got boring bc it was a block class.

These projects help the community in many different ways and Dr. J is amazing by helping everyone with their project. She cares about all projects equally and never prioritizes.
