I had her for Finite Math and she was quite easy in my opinion. The class average was a 77 but I had an A-. She does a good job teaching, she explained the topics so much that sometimes it was so easy that it was boring. She was always nice too.

I really dont see what all of these people are talking about... Dr. Han has always gone back and re-explained things that people asked her to. She is friendly and covers the sections 100%. Although it gets hard at times, what math doesn't?

Good teacher, has an Asian accent tho, for those who are incoherant of accents, but she explains everything and if u dont ask questions ur screwed, but otherwise she's a great teacher

I took her for Finite and she was Excellent! As long as you do all of your work then you will be fine. Tests and quizzes were easy and most of the questions were the examples in the book. I passed with an A and I usually do worse in math.

Dr. Han is a good teacher. she is very clear and explains things very well. although her tests are a little harder than you would expect from the outside work and quizes. but all in all she's not too bad.

Ok, first of all, I am horrible at Math...this woman made this class the easiest one I had all semester...I got an A in the class (which never happens in math) but the class average was a F. Everyone seemed like idiots though...really nice teacher, easy quizzes and HW, study for tests.

She is a very good teahcer. Looks and kinda acts like mrs. swan off mad tv. Lets you take guizes early so you wont have to go on friday. willing to help anytime. kinda funny sometimes. just be sure to do your homework (only collects 5) and quizes are easy. test are a little harder though. highly recommened!!!

Dr. Han is a great calc teacher. if you ahve the opportunity to take clc with her, do it, she makes everything seem so easy. But she does have kinda hard tests, not gonna lie.

Dr. Han is a pretty good teacher. She was supportive. I know she appears to be intimidating to talk to but she really does care, even though it may not seem like it. Her tests are basically what is in the book. She doesn't try to trick you. The chapters covered are not difficult either.

Dr. Han was willing to stay after class and go over problems that were unlcear and she always went over homework problems. She took info from class and put in quizzes and tests. I dislike math, but found her and the class to be interesting.

I took Dr. Han's Explorations in Mathematics course. The subject is pretty easy and she explains stuff pretty well. She's also funny and so adorable with her Korean accent. I'd take her again if I had to take more math courses.

I am a HORRIBLE math student, but i didnt have a diffucult time in her class. sometimes it is hard to understand what she is saying, but she is sooo sweet and very funny. Math for teachers is all about homework, exams, and quizzes. shes really nice and makes easy exams and quizzes. i loved her!

Very knowledgable. The material is real easy. Her accent isn't that bad. I had teachers with accents that were a lot worse. A nice woman. I found that many students were rude to her not the other way around. Easy class. I would recommend her

She is a really good professor! She explains things really well. I'm not good at math but this class was relatively easy as long as you go to class (Attendance isn't mandatory but it's to your benefit) so that you know what's going on. Just do the homework and take the quizzes- which aren't difficult.

Han was the best professor I have ever had! Despite her accent she is very clear and really knows her stuff! I absolutley reccomend taking a class with her! Just do your work and you will get an easy A!

She knows how to teach. I finally learned stuff from PreCalc and Calc I that I couldn't seem to get when she quickly reviewed it. Her quizzes and tests are hard (you need to really know your algebra & trig!) but she is very fair in her grading and give partial credit. She is one of the best math teachers this school has.

She's a great professor. Tests are easy as long as you learn the material. We had a quiz every Friday in the breakout session but those were easy too. She doesn't make things more complicated then it needs to be. I recommend her!!

Good Teacher. She is very good at math. She is willing to be very helpful, but she is a sweet little lady, and sometimes she can't control some student. If they would just shut up and pay attention, they would definitely learn. go to class, pay attention: you'll get a good grade. she really tries to help everyone.

Overall the class is moderately difficult but if you study regularly ou will do fine. She does have a thick accent and expects you to understand the material the first time around. Attendance is not mandatory but there are weekly quizzes and hw assignments.

If you get an A on all your homework and get mostly A's on all your quizzes you have a secure B. TEST ARE VERY HARD! I recomend you study with the hardest questions you can find in that sections textbook chapter. These are what she will use for her test. Overall good teacher. Just makes it alot harder than college algebra should be.

I hate math but I really loved this professor. She really loves teaching math and her enthusiasm really made me want to love math. I agree that this class is way harder than college algebra should be, but I enjoyed being challenged. I received a C+ and I worked really hard for it. Plus her accent is so adorable. Take her!

Such a sweet lady and a very reliable teacher! In my class, we had 5 quizzes and 2 exams, plus a final: she tells you everything you need to know and what to study. Take notes, attend class (because she offers extra credit), and consider yourself an A student ;) The accent is not bad, whoever said that it was just being whatever.

She's such a sweet woman! Her accent might catch you off guard at first, but you'll get used to it by the second week. She's very enthusiastic about the topic and knows it well. Prof. Han is a really good teacher. She explains the concepts really well, you just have to go to class every day and take notes. Also, doing the homework really helps. This is an easy class if you pay attention and do the homework. I recommend people take her if they want to have a stress-free math class.

You must attend to get a good grade...she is boring at times and rambles, but excellent at explaining the content. Great teacher and very helpful.

You have to go to class to understand the material. Do the homework, the quizzes are almost EXACTLY like them. She's not too boring if you interact with her, and she really cares about her students. Pretty easy class, just be ready to wake up in the morning.

Class isn't mandatory but she offers multiple extra credit opps for the students that attend everyday. Focus more on the problems she works on in class than the HW problems. Drops lowest quiz, very very organized, nice, and really cares about the students understanding and mastering the material. Great Professor!

Very good professor. I wish I could take her for Calculus I but the class is full. If you go to class you will pass the tests and quizzes with no problem. Then again I'm an engineering major so maybe that's why I found this class easy. She will gladly help you!

I've taken her for both explorations in math and finite math. Math is not my favorite subject by any means, but she makes it easy to grasp. Always willing to help, very clear in her lectures, tests and quizzes accurately reflect notes and homework, and she genuinely cares about her students. If you put effort in you'll get a good grade.

She was helpful and nice. She made the comprehensive final 30% of our grades! This was a big deal. You really have to study! HW after each class. Never offered any EC!! No curves or anything! Would not take again

Quizzes every Wednesday. The quizzes are pretty easy but don't replicate her tests very well.The homework is online and is easy to get a good grade on. Not a bad choice for pre-cal.

She does have an accent, but you can easily understand her. She gives a bunch of homework but its all online so its easy. I rarely went to class and just did the homework and I got A's on all the quizzes and tests and I suck at math.

Took her for College Algebra. If you're pretty good at algebra, this class is a walk in the park. Super easy! Barley went to class. The online hw is kind of a pain but easy to get 100% on because you can redo questions infinitely. Has a slight accent, but not difficult to pay attention to, but maybe sit closer to the front.

From my experience with her: She's an extremely nice professor. Yeah she has a bit of an accent, but she writes on the board the majority of the time. I would say visual learner would appreciate the class more than verbal learners. Keep in mind, it is a no-phone area. She allows 5 minute breaks after an hour of class.

Dr. Han is kind, generous and a great lecturer - she is an excellent math teacher and if you go to class regularly, do your homework and review for the quizzes and exams, you'll do fine in the class. Prof. Han is very clear about what she expects. She doesn't mind explaining a concept several different ways which worked for my learning style. She grades quickly and you never feel blindsided by assignments. If you didn't like her, it's probably because you didn't attend class regularly. She's funny in her own way. I finally feel like I get math.

I took her for intensive college algebra and she was a great teacher. She assigns my math lab for homework and some quizes online. She makes sure the students know when a quiz is going to happen and there are no surprises. She's a great teacher.

The lectures werent bad I was just always tired. I would take this class again bc I find Algebra easy. HW online & Quizzes every Friday, some are online or paper.

Dr. Han does very well considering what a Calculus class requires. This isn't a course where you're going to get creative lectures. Dr. Han goes over any homework questions before explaining the concepts in class, then it's up to you to do the next homework. There's extra credit on the quizzes, tests, and a special gateway test for Calc 2.

She explained concepts very well and was easy to follow in class. Homework was graded for completion-problems in the homework followed her lectures and pertained to the exams and quizzes. I understood algebra so much better with her than I did in high school. I highly recommend her, she really wants her students to do well and is very helpful!

This was my first math class in 15 years. I am very glad I took Dr. Hans class to refresh my memory before I go headfirst into complex math. HW due twice a week, weekly paper, and online quiz. All work done during the week go hand in hand. If you do good on the HW, paper and online quizzes will be a breeze!
