The class was very challenging but he made it so fun and interesting. He teaches you the subject in depth so that you can apply it to outside life for those of you who arent science majors. but overall study ya notes and you will be straihght. Mr. Gilmore is very fair!

He goes much deeper than the book, which is why he doesn't use the book. Listen for things that he repeats, that is your hint to highlight it. The course is not an easy course. Any science course will be challenging, and Prof. Gilmore expects you to be realistic about how much effort you will need to put into this course. If you show effort and a willingness to learn he will go out of his way to help you any way he can. His lectures are interesting and highly informative. I recommend him.

I dont know who that crazy person is who wrote that bad comment... but just dont listen to it. Yeah the class is intense (especially if you take it in the summer like I did) but he makes it so you will succeed. He does not hand you you're grade, and he shouldn't have to. Its COLLEGE. Memorize the notes and you will get an A or a B and leard a ton.

Love him and his class! Makes it fun and bearable especially in the summer sessions. You have to put in a lot of work, but it pays off in the end. He wants you to pass and gives you many opportunities to do so even if your lecture grades aren't so hot. The way he sets up his tests are great for people intrested in going into medicine.

I think his jokes are funny. He makes the 2 hours of sitting in lecture go by fast in summer school. He doesnt make you use the book and explains everything on his slides. Tests are straight from the notes and not tricky at all. I earned an A easily and really enjoyed it. He is the best science professor I have ever had.

Was very funny in class and had a great sense of humor. For our particular class period, he had taken on WAY TOO MUCH of a work load and really didn't have the time to truly focus on us ecspecially our lab. Bring a tape recorder to EVERY CLASS period and study off of that along with notes and you'll do fine on the test.

Great teacher, took him for both Biol 1406 and A&P I. Print out all of his power point notes and read through them before class. The tests come straight from the notes and he'll emphasize on the material you need to know, so pay attention. Take the earlier lab and not the later because he spends more time with first lab and is more helpful.

Great Teacher. He trys to make A&P as understandable as possible. He is also funny and makes it easy to pay attention to him lecture. His test can be hard but you'll do fine if you study throughout the weeks as he lectures. You CANNOT cram for his test, or you will fail. I took him for A&P 1 and 2 he's really good.

This was by far my favorite class. Gilmore made his class so interesting and fun but we always got down to business. Anatomy was a challenging course but if you study like you should there's no reason why you can't get an A. You have to show up to class as you never know when there will be a pop quiz for extra credit.

Prof. Gilmore gives out notes and gives review, gives test quizes. All of his material is based on his notes. In lab he gives very good examples and will also give you notes to study.

He is really good on going over things with you and giving you memory aids and such. Labs are on memory so you just have to study. Anatomy and Physiology II was so interesting and all the material was crystal clear. His style of teaching is great. I would take the opportunity to take any of his classes. You dont need to have the book to pass, it can be helpfull to have the book but I am DUMB and i did great without the book!! he does reviews that will help with the test just dont ask questions about anything during reivew. HURRY and sign up!!

Definitely the BEST Anatomy professor in the community college system!!! I had him this past semester and loved his approach but hate the fact that he allowed poorly performing/cheating students to mess up the flow of the course! Overall, he was very knowledgeable but it is rather sad he is leaving San Jac! They gonna miss this smart rare talent

The best of the best. Learned more in 1 semester than I did in the entire year I took anatomy in high school. Super helpful & keeps the class interesting. Gives you the powerpoints that he uses and gives great reviews. Don't need the big text book, just the lab books. Show up and study what he tells you study & you'll get an A. Wish he taught AP2.

Great teacher! was very clear and straight to the point. doesnt MAKE you come to class BUT I would definitely go! all info is on blackboard and tests are just as notes. great lab practicals also! recommend him any day!

I took Mr. Gilmore for A&P2 during the summer semester and it was tough, but what does one expect taking a health science class in the summer. He does get off topic a lot, but they are relevant to the class about his experience in the medical field. You do not need the book. Be sure to have a voice recorder handy to record test reviews!

He is straight to the point and gives a Lot of real-life scenarios during lecture. He's is easy to understand. By far one of the best teacher! Would recommend him! Be sure to go to attend class.. you just might miss important information that will help on tests.

Mr. Gilmore is the BEST teacher you could ever have. He will teach you everything he knows, give you reviews for exams, and answer any questions. He is truly amazing as a teacher, but don't pay attention in class or miss class and you will most likely fail. You have to study and pay attention but as long as you do that you will pass.

awesome teacher to have. Explained everything that was going to be on the test, there shouldn't have been a reason to fell. You do really need to study but he gave perfect full explanation of everything. Loved to answer questions

Great Teacher!! inputs real life situations to the lessons and makes it interesting and funny. Only downside is if he feels the class is not caring enough he will get upset and will cutback on important things such as review! Happened several times! annoying... Just show you are interested in getting an A!!

This is the first year for the 2404 Intro to Anatomy and Physiology it is A&P 12 combined the course is very fast paced you must study If you don't you will not pass Lab is way easier then lecture is. He likes to give a review in lecture, and then change 90% of what he says will be on test test are in depth granted this is the first year for this

He was very lively and helpful. Funny and easy to get a long with. I failed anatomy the first time and with him I made a B! So, as long as you may attention, you should pass!

THIS PROFESSOR IS THE BEST. HE GIVES "REVIEWS" WHICH ARE BASICALLY THE TEST JUST WORDER DIFFERENTLY. RECORD THE LECTURE AND ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS AND YOU JUST BE FINE BUT DO NOT TALK DURING THE REVIEWS CAUSE HE WILL SKIP QUESTIONS. YOU CAN SEE THE PASSION HE HAS FOR THE SUBJECT WHEN HE TEACHES. JUST TAKE HIM. STUDY. WORK HARD.

Mr. Gilmore keeps his class very interesting! He's so funny, upbeat, and incredibly understanding. U HAVE to show up to pass. U HAVE to study. Hes so entertaining so u dont want to miss his lectures anyway!!! He expects u to work hard but he doesn't have to say it. His energy just inspires u to work hard and reach for the stars!

Best professor I've had thus far. He was always available when I had a question. Doesn't take long to respond to messages. My advice to anyone, STUDY, and you'll do well in his class.

One of the best professors I've had ever. He's always there when you need him, and he's very understanding. He's hilarious! He makes lectures so easy to understand and he makes it very interesting! only complaint is his test reviews are a little different than the actual test, they will throw you off a little, but as long as you study you're good!

I am currently in the course and find it rather refreshing with the Professor's teaching style! He uses real life examples and makes a point to show why the information is important to different Health Fields. I can see he truly cares about his students' understanding and overall performance. We are now looking to take exams! #studyHARD

Best professor I have had for a biology course. Fast paced but he makes sure you know your stuff. Gives a review for tests but tests are a lot more in depth than just the review so you have to know your stuff.

Professor Gilmore is AWESOME! He gives extra credit if he sees you are trying. He makes the class fun. He tells it like it its and hears you out. Very easy if you just study. I recommend studying with a group, it does help!! You would think AP 1 & 2 combined is difficult, but its not. Again if you study and go to the reviews, you will do just fine!

Now this is a teacher! Can we have more teachers like him! He teaches with passion was never a dull moment in class. He doesn't show favoritism among his students he wants his students to pass. He goes out of his way and gives extra credit. Make sure you study. Take Mr. Gilmore you will not regret it!!

Intro to anatomy and physiology is not an easy class, but it makes all the difference if you have a professor like Mr. Gilmore. Show up to class, take lots of notes and STUDY. Passing this class depends on how hard you want to work. This professor is great! I would take again! It's not an easy A but he does give you what you need to pass if you try

He is an amazing Professor!! Yes the material is hard but as long as you come to class and study and do what you need to do then you will be fine. He does study sessions and cares about his students passing! I would take it again just to be in the awesome environment again! You would be lucky to have him as a Professor.

This Professor was by far the best one I have ever had. His goal is to make sure all of his students pass, but he doesn't just give you the grade you have to earn it. Lectures are great but he does talk fast however, recording is allowed. It's a shame he will no longer be teaching as he was a fantastic member of the San Jac faculty.

Mr. Gilmore was hands down the best professor I've ever had in college! He takes a class that's extremely difficult and makes it enjoyable. His tests are hard but if you study it's not too bad. He's easy to get a hold of outside of class so that's great. I would take his class again in a heartbeat! HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!

Professor Gilmore is an amazing teacher. He was well engaged in our class and he helped make the material easy,despite of how much stuff is packed in our course. He always made sure to be available to any questions. There is a lot of reading in this course and it's on you to study for the material. He made the course fun and a great experience!!!!!
