Prof. Kingsley is a great lecturer, and he cares a lot about his students. He will do everything he can to help you get a good grade.

He's great. He keeps with good humor, which is especially nice for a night class. He tells us a lot of tidbits like significant meanings of certain words or what names translate to, showing us how layered the Bible is.

Taking Old Testament Survey II with Professor Kingsley is great to continue on studying the Old Testament. With memorable analogies and convicting studies on passages, it's clear that he is very knowledgeable and is able to communicate that knowledge to his students.

Jared is really easy to listen to especially when reading the Old Testament. He brings life experiences and connects them to certain ideas OT books. He grades very fairly, he will let you know the things that are on the quizzes and gives a great study guide so there is no excuse for not doing well in the class, as long as you do your part

I like how he keeps the class engaged in a variety of methods that will help you enjoy it as well. I had a wonderful time learning from him even though it was my first time taking his class! I recommend signing up for his classes since you will not only have a greater understanding of the Bible but also probably love learning it from him.

Kingsley is great! He loves God's word and his fascination with the Old Testament is contagious. His class is easy to pass and he makes all the test and papers as easy as possible to do well on. If you pay attention to him screaming out the test answers and write them down you will likely get an A in this class.

Amazing, love this professor. Not only is he entertaining, but he is also serious about God's word, so good balance, love! To get a good grade in class is to be there and not jump out of his half-quarter Japanese arms, and you will be good! :) The textbook is the Bible! Assignments include papers (they help further push understanding).

Old Testament II with Professor Kingsley was a very enjoyable class because of the enthusiastic, down-to-business, and fun attitude that he carried with him into every class. He was very focused on the material that needed to get covered but would occasionally crack some jokes, which I appreciated along with the rest of the class.

Prof. Kingsley is so fun! I took a night class with him, and he's one of the few professors I could sit through three hours of. He has us do a few easy papers a semester (he literally gives us all the answers on what to write about) and quizzes every class (also easy). His lectures are very funny and he offers a TON of extra credit opportunities.

I would recommend Professor Kingsley for Old Testament 1/2 while your time at Masters. He's very interactive with his students and he's easy to track with. He's very generous with his extra credit and He gives you all the answers basically so it's just up to you whether you're willing to do the work or not.

Kingsley is one of the most impactful professors I have had at TMU because I learned so much about the Old Testament and about life in his class. I would highly recommend taking at least one of his classes.

Professor Kingsley teaches you in a way that is captivating and informative. The only effort you truly need to put in his class is entering your work on time and write the few things he tells you to write (because he'll quiz you) If you can easily do that, than you will pass this class with ease, because he's easy to learn from and he is punctual.

Prof Kingsley is a godly guy who genuinely loves the Lord and loves his Bible. He does a fantastic job clearly communicating the requirements of the class, and is gracious in his grading and extra credit. He pushes you to learn but helps you through the entire process. He has a fun time doing what he loves, and makes it fun for everyone else.

Professor Kingsley genuinely cares for his students. He makes class enjoyable and you not only learn a lot through studying the language but through the class discussion. He allows plenty of space for questions and discussion, so the lectures are never boring and always entertaining.

Prof Kingsley really sets you up for success! However, you really have to put in the work & listen to what he says. Don't skip on daily Hebrew, or cram your vocab. It does make a difference. Even though learning a language is hard, Kingsley's exegesis as we translated, was so encouraging and helped me to be motivated to learn! He's the best!!

This professor has quickly become my favorite professor of the semester. While the work load is relatively light, he puts a great emphasis on integrity in his class. Kingsley is an amazing professor who knows his stuff. Do the work and you'll do just fine. His quizzes are word-for-word phrases and key-words given in class. He gives you the key points for the papers and as long as you include those, you're good.

He is one of the best professors I've ever had. He cares about each student, he cares about getting everyone good grades, he makes it a priority to have you actually learn in his classes, and he's one of the funniest guys I've ever met.

He's a great Prof. really funny explains the material very well in an entertaining way that keeps you engaged very kind and accommodating and willing to listen to all of your questions and give feedback overall, a great Prof. I wouldn't jump out of his quarter Japanese arms.

Prof Kingsley made the Old Testament interesting. I feel like I learned so much about the Bible and about life in this class. The grading system was clear, there was plenty of opportunity for extra credit, but he still covered a massive amount of material and helped us to learn it and apply it to our lives.

His teaching style is very clear and easy to follow, he does move quickly, but this is a survey class so he doesn't really have a choice. He is hilarious and gives very engaging lectures. Easy A!!! Take the class!

If you don't do homework and your 30 mins of Hebrew everyday (which is required for class) then you will not do well (I can say this because I was lazy and failed the first time). Kingsley is my absolute favorite professor, he is so much fun and teaches in a way that really makes you understand what you're leaning and also makes the learning really enjoyable. His deep understanding of the scripture and ability to convey all of that information to his students without watering anything down is amazing and I love him.

Prof. Kingsley is one of my favorite teachers here at TMU. His lectures are so rich and good and delivers it in a way that helps me learn more about the Word. His jokes are actually good, he's always looking for a way to make us laugh, but lets us know when to lock in.

Dr. Kingsley is an incredible mind. Very intelligent but also knows how to connect with students. He approaches teaching OT in such a unique way, I didn't know I could have so much fun learning stuff I thought was boring. Write down WHAT HE TELLS YOU to write down, you'll get 100% on quizzes. Follow the rules for papers and those will be 100% too.

I have never had more fun going through the Old Testament than in Prof Kingsley's class. His lectures are easy to understand, full of amazing information, and a healthy amount of humor. He quizzes you fairly, and he always makes sure we know what we should study for the quizzes. I 110% recommend his class.

Kingsley is an amazing Bible teacher, his lectures are easy to listen to and learn much from. If you listen well in class you can pass the quizzes fairly easily.

He's pretty much the coolest professor ever! but also sincerely cares about helping his students grow in their awe and worship of the Lord.

Well-organized and always gives clear instructions on exactly how to complete an assignment. He started off the semester with "I'll cradle you in these quarter-Japanese arms" and has done just that. You can't fail this class. He supplements with personal stories and drawings to explain hard concepts... It's never a class you want to miss. :)

Professor Kingsley is honestly one of the best teachers I've had. His lectures are fun, engaging, and full of energy. He really knows his Bible material and explains it clearly, and I always leave class feeling like I've learned something meaningful.

I genuinely always enjoyed Dr. Kingsley's lectures for OTS1 because of his clever way of making them relatable, fun, but rich with content at the same time. The assignments or exams were not too hard in general, you just have to review constantly and you'll be fine. He's a fair grader and easy to reach out to.

He highlights all of the most important points while clearly presenting the main ideas of the book and ultimately tying everything into the overarching story of the Bible as a whole. Dr. Kingsley is an amazing scholar and Bible teacher. He has inspired in me a deep love of the original languages the Bible was written in. Through Intermediate Hebrew, I'm getting practical experience translating Scripture with the tools I learned in Elementary Hebrew. He makes the class deep and educational, but also down to earth and enjoyable.
