Crist îs a very good teacher for an intro psych class. While attendance isn't mandatory it is a huge benefit to go to class because it's very lecture and power point heavy. Going to class isn't that much of a burden because he is a very interactive, funny, up front. The tests are all open note so getting an high A should be easily attainable.
Very nice 10/10 would recommend this class
Jaren made me feel warm inside like a lizard laying on a rock to warm his scaly skin. 10/10 would take again.
Great Instructor for my intro to Psychology class
Amazing
Was an easy fun course.
He has powerpoints that he posts all the time so that you can look thru them later.
Hes Great
Jaren is the tallest professor ive had and probably the most handsome, his class is very simple if you get your stuff done. dont fall behind and you will receive a high A
Mr. Crist is pretty good at what he does. At the beginning of the course, he mainly just read off the slides, but towards the end, he began to lecture and be more passionate about what he was teaching. I'm sure he will improve as he continues his career.
This course was one of my first course at Texas A&M and he was great! He is super funny and his lectures are always interesting. He likes when students participate in lecture and is very easy going.
Instructor Crist was a great teacher and gave great lectures. He made instructions very clear and didnt even require attendance. He was also very easy to access outside of class.
He's a good instructor. Attendance isn't mandatory however its good to go to class. There is extra credit that must be done in class.
Open note tests, gives extra credit, and he's pretty easy to talk to.
He did a great job teaching this course. Tests are open note and open book making it extremely easy to pass tests with no problem. Sometimes lectures feel as if they drone on, but he has a great sense of humor and can make the entire class laugh with ease.
10/10 would take again.
Loved this class! I really enjoyed all of his lectures and stayed engaged the entire class. Attendance isn't mandatory, but the lectures are extremely important for your success. Great sense of humor and seems like he enjoys teaching. Would take this class again!
Great instructor who gives good feedback. The lectures are heavy though, so be prepared for lots of notes. Since he is a young instructor, he is very relatable and makes you feel comfortable while discussing the topics.
Good Prof commonly uses the phrase "I digress". He does random participation points for if you come to class usually just 2 points except for the one time I missed class was a 4 point one. Has conversations with the class so its more entertaining than some other profs who just lecture in monotone.
When he teaches he respects everyone, making sure no one is left upset!
This professor made Psych a fun class without trying, he's young so his humor is the same as ours, no corny jokes. He is very nice with extra credit without you having to ask for it, you play games during class sometimes to learn the lecture better and I would definitely recommend him!
Great guy, 10/10 personality, he was a drummer in high school, very tall, and buttons his shirt up all the way up to his neck.
Professor Crist is very fun and chill. He doesn't take attendance for mandatory, but he does have participation grade so don't miss out on that because it WILL lower your grade:))
I enjoyed having professor Crist for psyc 107. He makes it easy and accessible to succeed in his class. With clear instructions to projects, test, quizzes, and assignments. His lectures are entertaining and informational. He has a great personality and makes class enjoyable.
Love him! he is so funny and very personable! would 10/10 take his class again.
He was an ok prof - he read off the slides and did not expand on any questions in the slides at all.. didnt know how to properly answer some questions and basically encouraged the class to be disruptive and not attend. The class itself is easy but it usually isnt open note and open book like it was this semester - SI helped a lot!
Very good lectures that provides all you need to know. easy study and bullet points. SONA credits required minimum of 14.
3 exams and a film project all exams open notes. Go to class and take good notes and you should be fine.
Mr. Crist was a genuine, laid-back teacher.
He is an amazing professor and is open to giving extra credit to help your overall grade. The tests can be difficult, but just study and you will be okay. I would definitely take him again.
3 online exams and no final. Tests are open notes, but timed for 60 minutes.
He is a young guy who understands what pressure college students are normally under. The tests are open note and there is basically no homework, just a couple easy assignments. Only one required paper for the whole semester. While attendance is not required, sometimes he will have participation Kahoots that you won't get credit for if not there.
He is very funny and makes you want to come to class. The content is very interesting and he gives plenty examples to help you understand better. His work is not difficult and his test are open note so just be sure to pay attention. In his class, it is good to participate and engage. Overall he is a great professor.
He's funny and very casual. Very good professor and although attendance wasn't mandatory, I looked forward to this class! I would recommend this professor to ANYBODY, he's so fun and this is a very easy class.
Crist wasn't a bad professor at all. He's a funny and nice guy and his lectures can be interesting if you really pay attention. He offers extra credit and does participation kahoots every now and then so I would suggest attending class. His tests are all open note and he gives us like four days to take them. Very doable and easy to get an A. Take.
He is clear about deadlines and expectations. He does have random attendance checks, but even if you miss class it is still possible to do well. He also has kahoots and jeopardy for test reviews, that are fun.
Tests are open note and you have access to the power points he uses to teach. Although attendance is not mandatory, you get points for participating in class.
Lectures are very clear as long as you take good notes and making sure you show up to class just in case you miss anything important such as pop quizzes or any extra credit. There are only 3 exams and no final. Able to to use your notes while you take your exams. Wouldn't want a different psychology professor.
He's very charming and funny. He obviously knows what he's talking about, and his lectures are entertaining while also being educational. The workload is minimal making this an overall stress-free class. I would definitely take his class again.
Professor Crist had very enjoyable lectures because he was funny and also efficiently covered all of the material. Overall the class work was not super time consuming and the grading was not too difficult.
He reads off the slides but throws in some great extra info. He makes class fun and the tests are open note. Attendance isn't mandatory but there are extra participation points given out randomly throughout the semester for going to class.
Prof. Crist was a great professor. I felt he had understood the struggles that come with college classes and found a way to make his class different. With that said, we had three exams in which were hard, but if you pay attention in class you'd do fine on. Overall great professor and would recommend taking his course.
He is definitely knowledgeable in psychology and explains things very well. Tests are lowkey difficult, but they are open-note so not impossible. As long as you attend class, you should be fine.
The class is very stress-free with a minimal workload. All lecture slides are posted before we cover them in class. He has three exams all of which are open note and taken on your own time over the weekend. Attendance isn't mandatory but he does do random participation points throughout the semester.
Prof Crist is young, so he is easy to relate to when he is lecturing. It is easy to follow along. There are three tests and one Psychology in Your World assignment. All together, there aren't many point opportunities, so it is easy to fall behind if you slip up. Make sure to go to class for the free points.
Crist is a great professor! Psyc 107 is really easy as long as you go to class and do your work. Exams cover lecture and textbook material, there's online modules due every month, 3 exams, research credits, a 3-page paper, and then random participation assignments during class (so GO TO CLASS) Overall very chill & easy class :)
Crist is honestly a really great instructor. I find his lectures to be really interesting and it's honestly the only class that I look forward to going to. It fairly easy to get a good grade as long as you pay attention and keep up with the (very minimal) assignments.
I enjoy how he keeps the class engaged a good amount of time. I have a great time learning the content while still retaining the information.
He is such a cool guy. He's a super funny and charismatic guy. His lectures are very entertaining and makes you want to show up to class. He can be petty if you catch him on an off day. He doesn't care if you talk during class, but if it interrupt class he has no issue flaming you so you shut up. Class was easy+enjoyable. Thanks Mr. Crist!
Mr. Crist is a great teacher to have for PSYC 107. He gives funny and informational lectures and connects with his students. He is always open to answering questions and making real-world connections.
Good instructor. He keeps the class engaged and is quite funny. Attendance isn't mandatory, but it's a good idea to go. Tests aren't too hard if you take good notes and study a bit. As long as you stay on top of you assignments (there's not too many) the class is not hard at all. Also, try not to pack up early in class it's annoying and rude!!
He's a real good guy and he truly understands his students.
When I took him for this class he was still a grad student so I felt like he did not have everything flowing as smoothly as I had hoped as an incoming freshmen but he has potential to be a great prof! He interacts really well with the class and works to make class interesting!
Mr. Crist is a good professor. Lectures are based off of PowerPoints, which he usually goes into discussion about. Attendance is not mandatory, but you do miss out on some participation credit and/or extra credit if you don't go to class. Tests are online and if you take good notes, are very doable. There is an essay and research requirements too.
This class was pretty easy and fun to take. The tests are online and if you take good notes you should do fine on them. Attendance is not mandatory but if you skip class then you might miss out on days where he does participation credit. Overall a super fun class and wont add too much stress to your schedule
Mr. Christ was an excellent instructor, he went over the course material and never failed to answer any questions. The toughest thing to consider in this class is the study credits... they're a pain but very easy to complete nonetheless. Also he's really funny even if he's a 2% Aggie.
Jaren Crist is great at open discussion and creating an inclusive classroom. As a result, it really opens the floor to go in-depth on tricky topics that are inherent to psychology. Jaren also understands that Psychology is a hard subject due to the amount of material involved, and is great at highlighting the crucial elements that we need to know.
Hes really laid back throughout lecture and doesnt ask for much. He has 4 exams and no final, as well as an end of the year project. The exams were also online, open note and internet. Your participation points are mainly discussions on canvas or kahoot, but he also likes students to discuss about the topic during lecture. Overall, an easy A.
The class is not a lot of work but it is very information heavy.
Lectures are posted and tests are open note/book/online. Not difficult, just applying concepts. Not memorization, literally all applying terms to concepts and examples.
I would definitely take Mr. Crist again! He keeps his lectures interesting and if you stay up to date on the assignments, it should be an easy A. Participation isn't mandatory, but he does do some participation assignments for extra credit. There is only 3 exams, a paper, and some daily assignments so make sure you do your best.
Attendance: Optional, occasionally does participation points Tests: Study ppt slides, not hard to get B+ or higher (minimal studying) Lect.: Engaging, PowerPoints HW: Minimal Homework- If so, not time-consuming Extra Cred: Not a lot offered but easy to do well in class Great prof! Very personable, relates to students, and provides good resources.
I like his teaching style because it feels close and personal. You can tell he enjoys psychology when he teaches. If you pay attention, dont disrupt class, and participate, this class will be enjoyable.
Hes a great professor and he understands how to help his students and makes class interesting
cool guy B)
If you show up to class A is very possible. Going is not mandatory or needed but does participation. Tests are online and open notes but still difficult because of wording. Overall pretty easy but boring
Mr. Crist is a great professor for an into to psych class!
Was very nice didnt grade super hard, test were pretty easy class over all wasnt too hard.
Great professor! Show up and print the PowerPoints. Listen to what he says on each slide and write it down. Youll do great if you do these. Super nice guy and wants you to do wel.
Show up to class and take good notes and you'll get an A. Great Professor.
Christ is is great professor. Everything you need to know will be in his lecture slides and during his lecture. The book is a great resource if there is a topic you dont fully understand. He isnt a boring lecturer most of the time. There are random kahoots and discussion assignments that you have to go to class for, so dont regularly skip
Great professor and an easy A if you just show up to class. The tests are open note but are timed to keep from being able to find the answers in your notes. One of the best professors I had at A&M.
He's a great professor with a great personality. If you show up and participate in class, you will get a good grade.
Attendance is not required, but encouraged for participation points! The class is engaged with his lectures, and he covers great material. This is not a class to stress over- open note, open book, timed exams.
Highly Recommend!
Professor Crist makes class interesting. As long as you show up to class and do your work theres no reason you shouldn't receive an A. His test aren't really difficult as long as you apply what he says during his lectures.
He is by far my favorite professor I had freshman year. His course taught me PSYC 107 and I honestly never bother with anything psychology related but he made a topic that I found boring interesting. Hes a funny professor and a great guy. He doesn't really use the textbook in lectures but does a bit on exams. Ask him to make kahoots for the exams!
I loved taking this course!! The format was good; Professor Crist was also really fun during lecture and made class interesting. The textbook is free and was very useful when studying.
If you need an easy class and just want to listen without stress, I would definitely take this class. 3 exams, open book but it is timed therefore don't depend on last-minute studying. Go to class to get participation points.
Great guy, easy class, beware though if you skip class often you will miss participation opportunities! Material is cool and tests are straight off the lecture slides, 10/10 take this class for a core curriculum credit.
Mr. Crist is a grad student. He's nice and paying attention in lecture is effortless because he is more than willing to have a conversation about the lecture material if something is difficult to understand. There's a few assignments but he gives as much credit as he can on everything. He does throw in a few surprise in-class only kahoots.
Professor Crist is a super fun prof. Tests are open note, but application based, so you do have to have a basic understanding of concepts. Lectures are him talking straight off the slides, but he often discusses topics further if someone asks a question. Going to class really isn't necessary, but if you skip, you might miss participation points.
He is a very nice prof and provides all the material on time. He also provides some reviews for exams. Attendance wasnt mandatory but if dont go your missing out on possible bonus points/ assignments . His lectures are enjoyable and hes very easy going & willing to help when its needed.
Make sure to take good notes, since tests are open notes. Crist made class pretty engaging as well.
Class is easy going and lectures are not too bad. Pretty easy assignments overall, just make sure to do well on the tests (1 hour and 50 questions. Open note but application based so you have to know the content).
Prof Christ is a really cool dude. His class is pretty easy if you know how to work the PowerPoint for the test and do your work.
Kahoot in class randomly for credit so attendance only somehwat required. Tests were open note and open book just make sure you know basics because short time alloted for tests.
He is a very animated and fun professor who loves what he does. Tests are open note and open book but can still be tricky if you don't know the material. Pay attention in class and take notes and you will be fine. I got unlucky in this class a couple times with the random kahoots that are graded. go to every class or you will lose points.
Professor Crist was a great professor! His lectures are amazing and he is very engaging. Make sure you show up to class because participation points matter. Also, research credits are required for this course so make sure to plan ahead for those! Overall, if I could, I would definitely take his class again!
This professor is great and I recommend taking him.
The lectures were pretty interesting and the exams are all online, with open notes. Although attendance is not mandatory I would suggest going to class. Professor Crist enjoys talking about psychology which makes the class more interesting.
cool teacher, he communicates exactly what is expected of students. i wish the course material and powerpoints were a little more organized, other than that he did a great job.
Overall, this class was okay. The lectures were boring and read almost directly off the slide. Professor Crist tried to make class interesting but the material was bland. Tests were okay.
Attendance isn't mandatory, however the in class Kahoot points will add up if you continually miss them.
Easy class, but the tests can get you if you aren't careful
Amazing!!!
He makes the lectures entertaining. Tests are open notes. Participation is not mandatory but there are Kahoots every now and then for points.
He is very good. Tests were open note, and very thorough in lectures. Take him!
He is very chill !! Tests are open notes and you get participants points by coming to class and doing the kahoots.
Tests were open book open note which was really nice. Took a few things from the book for the exams but nothing that you could not find based on the keywords. Funny guy, more relatable since he is on the younger side. Good idea to go to class for the Kahoot grades, but the lectures were easy to sit through and entertaining!
Super easy class. The lectures were interesting and easy to pay attention to. There was not a lot of homework, and we could use notes on the test. Professor was also very personable, which made class more fun.
very invested and motivated professor, understands why many people are in the class and builds the course around that idea.
Very good professor, easy to follow during lectures.
Gives ample opportunity to receive a good grade in the class
Laidback and easy-going professor that actively encourages class participation through discussions so be prepared to share your thoughts. Easy and engaging class with strict deadlines. Lectures were super interesting (some more than others) and overall a great intro psychology class!
Professor Crist made class interesting which made me more motivated to go. He is very laid-back and his has a great overall vibe. He grades based on test and participation on quizzes so if you stay on top of your work it should be easy to get a good grade.
He has a really good sense of humor that made lectures more enjoyable, and since this is just an intro class he's very laid back and chill. Show up to every class because he may do participation, and missing those can really hurt your overall grade. Overall, great prof and I would take him again! :)
Probably my favorite professor so far. His sense of humor is great and he manages to make the lecture interesting. He's great at answering questions and making sure you understand what's going on. He's pretty laidback, but he has surprise Kahoots some classes that count towards a participation grade. Overall, I would say he's great!
Very awesome class, professor is very good and straightforward and easy to communicate with.
Tests are online, just go to class and you'll be fine, but if not study the powerpoints he uses in lecture and you should be good, also there was one group project at the end of the semester which was worth more than each exam, but it wasn't too bad. Also some extra credit towards the end of the semester.
He manages to make lectures interesting and encourages class participation. His laid-back personality creates a comfortable learning atmosphere. Attendance is not mandatory, but he does give some participation points during class so I would recommend going to class.
He's a really good professor who clearly loves what he does, and the lectures were really easy to follow. You get points for participation in class through kahoots so attendance matters.
Professor Crist gives interesting lectures while keeping them fun and engaging. There are a couple tests in the class but easy to pass if you study and attend the lectures.
Tests are based on PowerPoints and lectures. kahoots during class do participation.
Overall an amazing instructor! Exams are open note open book and there is no final! He makes lectures very interesting and loves having class discussions!!
Overall amazing instructor! Lectures are interesting and he loves having class discussions! Exams are open note/open book and there is no final!! Participation includes random Kahoot sessions, so although attendance is not mandatory, try and make it as much as possible.
Dope instructor. Does a good job trying to keep everyone engaged in class through discussions etc.
He is very chill and a knows what he is talking about. Lectures are fun and easy to understand. Attendance not required but there are kahoots every once in a while for participation grades.
This Prof is THE BEST! Lectures are interesting and an A is so easy to get if you put in effort!!
Really great professor, super helpful and the tests are all online and open note!
This professor was great, he was flexible and very fun. He interacts with his students during classes. Highly recommend. If you are going to take make sure you go to class because he does kahoots or pop quizzes, if you miss them it could ruin your grade.
He's a good prof for an easier class in psyc 107, He's also a really funny dude so if psyc is in your degree plan or it's something you enjoy then take Crist.
very straightforward with lecture and tests are open note but still timed so be sure you still know most of the material. offers extra credit assignments and keeps class active with kahoots and jeopardy games. rarely assigns homework so as long as you do all the work that he does give with a good amount of effort you should get an A in the course
Overall great professor, made class enjoyable and looked forward to being in class.
Overall, Professor Crist was a wonderful professor. He made coming to class fun! Make sure you always go to class, because he does take participation grade with pop quizzes or certain activities done in class. Tests are not too difficult if you just take notes, while in class, pay attention and study over his powerpoint!
As long as you show up & take good notes from his lectures you should be able to manage to get an A. Attendance is not mandatory, however he sometimes has Kahoots that do count as a grade. He does a good job at keeping his lectures interesting.
I love this Professor, he did a really good job at creating an interactive classroom that allowed students to remain engaged. Unfortunately, there aren't many grades for the class which can kinda be tough because although his tests are relatively straight forward, they can be a little more difficult.
Great Professor, very laid back and easy going. If you go to class and pay attention you will do fine. There is not many grades, but this includes participation, one project, and some test, so it is important to do well on tests.
Lots of examples in PowerPoints. He does not go super fast, is good at explaining, and is very good at asking questions in order to hear everyone's thoughts on the matter. Test are not too bad. Very little homework.
Professor Crist is a fun prof that actually works to get his students engaged in the lectures. He will often strike up conversations within the class that (for the most part) help you actually apply the topics to things you understand. He actually tries to get his students to understand the material/concepts rather than simply remembering them.
This is my second class with Professor Crist and I have enjoyed both classes with him. He is a great professor and truly makes the material interesting. He is very straightforward about his expectations and is great about answering any questions you may have.
Very cool guy. He takes participation randomly but offers quite a bit of SUPER easy extra credit so if you miss attendance you will be fine. His lectures are funny and light-hearted, he does appreciate people interacting during class but it's pretty easy because the whole class feels like a conversation.
Really good professor. Lots of extra credit opportunities were given. Will also take attendance randomly through kahoots and discussions. Does a review before exams which are very helpful. His tests are not that bad as long as you are paying attention in class and to the review, and will use very similar questions for tests. Overall a fun class!
Lectures were loosely based on the textbook, helpful to have both. Lectures were fairly basic, and didn't vary much from the slides unless questions were asked. Can go off on a few tangents, but not entirely unrelated to the material. Random participation assignments for grades, no makeups. If you miss class, ask someone else for the notes.
A great prof! Makes the class interesting and very accessible to learn in. Would definitely take again
Attendance is basically mandatory because he does random pop quizzes that are for a grade, tests are relatively easy
Overall great professor, just make sure to be in class and take notes!
made things fun in class, and tests were not too hard
Jaren is the best Psychology instructor I've had in 4 years at TAMU. Made the entire course simple day 1 with a breakdown of his syllabus, showing how our participation is a big factor in your final grade, so show up to class. Class discussions had a great way of bringing out the introversion in students, and I would 100% take again if I could.
Really cool guy. Class is straight to the point, he's good about communicating. He doesn't take attendance but uses pop quizzes as an incentive to go to class.
A prof that cares but doesn't just hand you an A. He is not super lenient with late or missing grades but is very giving with extra credit, so it is hard to not do good. Tests were open note and pretty straight forward. Participation is done during random classes, so you need to go. Overall, a very solid professor!
Good Instructor! Assignments include discussions and one group project, must attend class he will randomly give an assignment which counts as a grade! Super nice with extra credit and exams are open note
A real dawg, top g, legen
I took this as a summer course. There were 3 open note tests and only a few assignments. The lectures were interesting and engaging.
He was a fair grader and he usually uploads all the slides for the notes so if you miss something you dont get caught behind.
I really enjoyed this class. He did a great job at explaining topics and giving real life examples. All assignments were manageable and easy to do. I took this class during the summer, and it was very easy.
I took this class over the summer, and it was super informative. Although it went kind of fast, Professor Crist had knowledge over what he was teaching. I personally believe he made class fun, and explained concepts really well. The class offers extra credit opprtunities, participation points (usually with Kahoot), and wasn't boring to listen to.
Professor Crist was an understanding and fun professor!
He is a lenient but strict instructor who is very skilled at teaching information and answering questions.
Jaren Christ is a funny, kind, and interesting professor. His age being close to the students helps us understand and connect with him to a deeper level. Attendance isn't mandatory, but there will be random participation grades.
Overall, a good class!! The lectures were very informative, and even though he occasionally read off the PowerPoint, he added insightful information to back up the notes. Very knowledgeable on the topics. Please make sure you attend class because he has participation grades all the time, and make sure you take good notes!!
He's a good professor who prioritizes participation. He presents the power points well and helps provide examples that make the topic easier to understand. He's willing to answer your questions if you reach out and he expects you to learn everything even if its not on the exams.
Very laidback and too the point teacher! open note and book test! Nice and good at relaying information.
He is down to earth, chill, and entertaining. He gets along well with students and clarifies concepts well.
He is awesome! Highly recommend this course, very engaging professor.
He is an chill teacher and loves to interact with the class.
He goes through his slides he is teaching in class very fast.
Great class and teacher. I would be prepared to come to class ready to learn. If you study for exams and do your work, you will do well in class.
This professor definitely enjoys the subject. Be wary, while attendance isn't mandatory, there will be occasional participation grades.
He is a great professor that teaches very clearly. His lessons are very clear and understandable.
Hes very nice and funny, but hes very sarcastic and will call you out in class if youre doing something he doesnt like. Definitely a good professor though!
He was a good professor. His lectures were long but not boring. He was very engaging with his students and was nice when you had a question.
good professor, open note tests
as long as you dont get behind on your stuff its not too hard
Very good professor, does not give much homework at all. He is engaging to everyone and I definitely recommend him to anyone.
Attendance is not mandatory but is encouraged! Lectures are fun and worth attending.
good professor make you engage in class
Overall good lectures and is clear with what he wants from you in the class.
Overall, an easy-going professor, study for your tests and you should enjoy the class.
Professor Crist was very engaging and easy to listen to in lectures. He often kept things interesting and was very knowledgable about what he was covering at all times.
He gives lots of resources, makes assignments and due dates manageable, and reminds you what is expected in class everyday.
Very fun professor, easy class, & light workload! 10/10 recommend!
Amazing prof! Great balance of humor+high qual teaching, keeps class interesting! Tests require deep understanding of content, cant fly by in this class but given plenty of resources to do well. Historically, an easy grader - except for tests which are auto graded on canvas. Participation thru Kahoot for random lectures - you should attend class!
Willing to work with students and gives 5% extra credit towards final grade. A lot of the material is common sense and the tests are pretty easy, especially if you complete the study guide. Grade is based off 3 exams, a group project, and attendance. He gives random kahoot reviews during class throughout the semester for attendance.
His exams are easy & straight forward. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he does take participation from time to time for extra credit. Extra credit can be worth up to 5% of your overall grade, so that was helpful. His exams were online, open note, and timed. Most of the questions can be found directly from lecture. Easy class, highly recommend.
You don't need to read textbook. He offers a lot of extra credit. I ended up with a 103 in the class. He is very witty and funny. Very chill. He has three exams, no cumulative final. Each exam is open note, open book and no lock down browser. You can take it online at home. Easy A class if you do the work and extra credit.
He is a really good professor. Hes hilarious and discussions in class were always interesting. Going to lecture is WORTH it and you actually learn while being engaged in the material. Class itself is not difficult and I have a 100 in the course. I highly recommend taking him.
Awesome professor- funny, includes participation, really cares about what he teaches and I learned a lot. 100% would take again.
Very interesting lectures. He offers a lot of extra credit points so it is easy to bring your grade up if needed. Some participation points are offered randomly throughout the semester. Would recommend going to the lecture because he explains things well and clears up any confusion through discussions.
He is such a cool person! His exams were open note and book, not proctored. Offered a HUGE extra credit opportunity. Made lectures interactive and fun to go to. Did a few participation kahoots/ games/ pop quizzes throughout the semester. Very funny and laid back. If you do the work, you'll get an easy A.
4 research papers. Had him for lab and is probably one of my favorite lab instructors! Reasonable and detailed feedback for papers. Detail instructions for lab activities and very responsive to questions and emails. Made early morning classes not so bad.
I took PSY-232 (Social Psych) at Gustavus with him. He is such a funny person, and SUCH an amazing professor with how helpful and understanding he is. The class was super easy, and there were a lot of lecture slides but very easy content and tests were online. He's also super engaging with the class and it was really fun to learn from him.
