Prof. Kotrozo is one of my favorite at CSUS, he is full of energy, he engages the class, and allows for a bit of fun. His test are a bit harder than normal but don't be discouraged it just takes a different study ethic. The class is fair, you get what you put in. Will definitely try to take again.

Very energetic and entertaining, love his make-up stories. There's 3 exams the lowest is dropped, so do good on the first 2 and don't show up for the final. Exams are based on memorization from lectures. 5 papers are assigned. He assigns 4 one page paper based on an article. Lastly he assigns 1 10 page paper based on an S&P 500 of your choice.

Professor Kotrozo was extremely helpful! The course was extremely challenging, and his tests were absolutely awful, but if you attended class and took notes, passing the course is doable with an avg. amount of studying. 4 Quizes, a Group Project, and 2 Individual Case Studies! I would def. Recommend taking this teacher, he is tough but enjoyable!

Kotrozo is a really cool teacher. He is super nice and very helpful. This class requires A LOT of dedication and hard work and as long as you put forth an effort, you are sure to walk away with a good grade in this class. You will also learn a lot of information and how to apply it in real world and in your career. I highly recommend this teacher!

Will absolutely require hard work but is an extremely interesting class with relevant subject matter. Business simulation is awesome teaching tool. Prof. provides excellent feedback and genuinely wants all students to succeed. One of the best professors I have ever had - not too bad on the eyes, either.

This teacher is awesome. He is one of the few that actually cares about his students. Simulation for the class was challenging at first but very fun.

Best teacher!sounds ridiculous but all business teachers at this school,hmmm,what's the word?Ah yes,SUCK! Either that or im very unfortunate n choose all the wrong ones(could be, super bad luck this year)..very knowledgeable,destined to teach. great teaching skills... very helpful, article summaries every other week and quizes the opposite every other week... quizes are kinda hard, you need to study hard for them... overall great teacher =D

This Prof requires work if you want a good grade, but you will also actually LEARN something. One of the best at CSUS. Encourages critical thinking, is a dynamic speaker, and is extremely helpful. Lots of writing involved, so come prepared and you'll be fine. Highly recommended Professor.

Keeps you focused in class. The simulator is a better learning tool than a text book (way cheaper too!). You definitely need to put some time and effort into his class, but it is very rewarding. Stanislaus is lucky to have him as a prof.

One of the best professors at CSU Stan. I wish I'd taken this class in the regular semester & not during summer session. There is a lot to learn from him. Summer session was just too short and intense to benefit fully. Dr.K is definitely not there for the pay. He seems to enjoy his students and truly cares about their success.

Awesome prof. I've learned so much material from him. One thing I took from this class was the ability to speak out in class and give better presentations without notes. He gives you confidence which is something I lacked all along. Now I can't shut-up no matter what class I am taking. Krotozo is a genius he should be a part time psychiatrist.

Grade for this class is based on multiple quizzes, a 10 page group report, a group presentation, 3 homework assignments, & participation. Quizzes aren't too hard as long as you memorize the material but he gives study guides. Groups are put together by him so you can't choose your own group members. Intermediate difficulty class.

Professor Kotrozo is one of the best professors at CSU Stan! Class was so interesting. Im kind of a lazy person, but i wanted to attend his class. Its a somewhat difficult class but if you pay attention you will do good. Again I will take this teacher for every class he teaches! Amazing!

Dr.K is the best professor at this school. I actually want to go to his class.

Dr.Kotrozo is the best teacher I've had this session. CSUS is lucky to have such a dedicated teacher. He is very fair, and if you attend to his interesting lectures you will get a good grade. His quiz's are fair and so is homework. I would take him again.

Dr. Kotrozo was a great teacher overall. Even though I had him once a week for 2.5 hours, he made his lectures interesting and easy to stay awake. His quizzes NEED to be studied for, 5 short answer questions but you need to be thourough (one of them is E.C. though. His final is a group 10 pg paper and presentation of the paper, not too bad!

He is an awesome teacher I ever had! His class is fun, interesting, and you will definitely obtain a fulfilling learning experience. 5 quizzes that requires time to study for, 3 one page HW essays,a group project/10 pages and presentation. He should stop teaching so great cause he's making other teachers look bad.

Kotrozo is an enthusiastic teacher that really enjoys teaching and helping students. He gives 5 quizzes, 3 HW assignments, and 1 group project. The class requires a lot of effort, but you will get so much out of it.

Kotrozo was awesome. who knew someone could make management theory interesting? you arent required to go to class but it will be hard to pass without going. but he makes the class and content so interesting that i never minded going to class, i actually looked forward to it! and i hate school!

Kotrozo is awesome! The class I had with him was only about 2.5 hours long and met once a week. But each time, I was actually looking forward to his classes. He kept everyone entertained, awake, and focused! Which I found surprising because I'm not the most focused person around. He is great and highly recommended!

He is awesome! It's lecture, I met only once a week for about 2.5 hrs. You can pass his class, but u have to study your notes, reading the material in the book that was covered in class helps be prepared. He has a book on reserved saved me $. You will actually learn something from this guy. He's full of life and very helpful. If you can, take every class that he teaches.

Top notch. He uses many real world examples from the news and his own personal work experience. Class is very organized and everything is clearly explained. He really does want students to learn and it shows.

This guy is amazing. Very dynamic speaker with real-world experience. Very organized and responds fast. Teaches through practice with business simulation. Never was passionate about business classes until this one. Word of advice: Do not slack off & make sure you know your stuff or he'll embarrass you with tough questions during group presentations

Dr. Kotrozo is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is extremely nice, helpful, and funny!He truly wants his students to learn! I looked forward to going to his class, and you will learn things that will actually be useful to you in the workforce. Take his class!

Amazing teacher. He asks his students to be serious, but he works hard on his side to grade well and on time, always with useful comments. He's here for his students and it shows. Respect.

I really enjoyed Dr. Kotrozo's class! He grades hard in the beginning, but as the semester progresses, he becomes more lenient in his grading..5 quizes, 3 homework assignments, 1 group project, 1 resume assignment..Pretty straight forward class..

The best of the best!! He is interesting, helpful and believes in what he's peddling. I learned more from the simulation than I thought possible. Cannot go through the motions or the student evaluations will hit you hard. If you are engaged in the course you will do fine.

Dr. Kotrozo is the best kind of teacher: knowledgeable, fun, and energetic. He keeps you awake and interested. The "quizzes" are worth 100 points each and are all writing. Best way to study is to memorize all definitions on the study guide. 3 small hw papers. Huge group project that he grades really tough. Overall, loved the class w/ this teacher.

Very good professor. He's an unyielding perfectionist (don't you dare miss a comma in your PowerPoint!) but a rigorous course also encourages students to try harder. He is passionate about his discipline, enthusiastic, and funny. Most grades are group work (which he assigns), so hope you get a good group. He's always helpful and responsive.

Excellent Professor, by far one of my favorites. To give you an idea that I am NOT an overacheiver, my GPA is a 2.9, but Kotrozo REALLY engages his students. Some of the hardest classes I've taken was with this guy for 3 years, but I'd do it all over again, C's, B's, A's and all.

Very knowledgeable. However, class relies heavily on group work/Capsim simulation so if you were put in a not-so-great group, it will reflect in your grade. I received A's in the rest of my UD classes, & I earned a B for his course after putting countless hours into it..very frustrating. Other than that, really nice guy & interesting class.

My best course so far had I met him before I would have taken all his course, he actually teaches and you learn usufull information.

A lot of group work. If you have a good group than you will be fine. He is very very helpful and super nice if you go see him in his office.

Great personality. Tests are fair. Paper was done in a group so choose carefully. Presentation is also done in a group. Uses real life examples to teach class. Study and you will pass this class. It sounds hard but it is a doable class.

GREAT professor! This course is not difficult but make sure you work with your team, study and read the materials if you want to pass the class. Attend class every day or week and just listen and focus to professor kotrozo. Willing to help and very smart professor. knowledgeable about the course and handsome looking too!

Although Dr. Kotrozo may seem a little intimidating at first, he's a genuinely great guy. His lectures make boring material a lot more interesting and he's always moving around which keeps you focused. He is definitely a fair grader and you get what you earn in his class. He's always available to help and wants to see you succeed.

By far the best prof I have had in college. He is also the hardest prof I have ever had. You will learn a lot, but you will do a ton of work! The simulation was actually a lot of fun and he uses his real world experience to teach students! He assigns a lot of work but is really quick with his grading and is willing to work himself!

By far one of the hardest teacher I have had; however, he is one of the best. You will actually learn in this class and if you are a serious student you will take this further with career. He cares about his class and it is very clear that he cares about his students success. He is always available if you need help and gives very detailed feedback.

He has high expectations. You are put in groups so if you are stuck in a bad group, you will cry your eyes out. However, he is more than willingly ready to always help students out and works with them when it comes to office hours. I would say make a weekly visit with him to ensure you will pass by asking his help. I hate the group but enjoy him.

class is based on a simulation done as a group. he chooses your group based on various criteria, if you are lucky you get a good group. 4 quizzes drops the lowest, make sure to study they are not easy. Two group papers due, a group strategic plan and a strategic evaluation. This class is a part time job. PS Don't forget to do your resume.

Took in summer, BEST class I have take at Stanislaus. Yes you have to work hard for your grade, but anyone can do it. If you put in time you will pass. This class prepares you for business. Ask loads of questions for paper to get a good grade. From all of my classes, this was by far a great experience. 3 quizzes, 2 group papers and lecture.

Dr. Kotrozo is a delight. He cares about the success of his students. His lectures are interesting and he is funny. He is a tough grader but thats because he expects you to give it everything you have. To be successful in this class you better hope the group you are placed in works well together, because this classes grade really depends on it

Loaded with group work that you have to make time for outside of class. I met once a week with my group, more than I ever have in other classes. Kotrozo is great and really cares. His lectures are the best. Quizzes are challenging, requires MEMORIZATION like you wouldn't believe. You need to make an effort here. 2 huge papers and a couple quizzes.

The most work and time consuming class ever. Really depends on your group. 3 quizzes that are actually test. SO STUDY! Fast paced class early on with learning the simulation and writing a plan for 8 years into the future! all withing a few weeks of barely learning the sim. 2 presentations and 10percent participation that will haunt you in the end.

Professor Kotroz is very energetic and friendly. Three quizzes and two exams, but he drops the lowest grade for each. They are worth 10% of your grade. Two projects that are related to each other, 15% of your grade. You have to work hard for the grade you want, but he gives you lots of opportunities to earn a decent grade.

I loved Kotrozo! I took him over Summer 2019, he was very clear what he expected of us, and was very thorough with his explanations. I recommend taking over summer, only 4 weeks long, there is a lot of group work, and a final presentation.

I was going thru all my paperwork and mail and came across a letter of recommendation I had asked this professor for. I decided I should rate him on here. This professor was the most memorable professor at CSU Stan. He has remarkable and practical experience that he brings to the table .

Dr. Kotrozo has been villanized by many past students and even I was kind of skeptical about taking his class. It has by far been one of the toughest classes I have taken but the way he sets up his syllabus, he tells you exactly what he is looking for. Don't put in work? You are 100% going to fail. Participation is also extremely important!

Professor Kotrozo is concerned about his students' well-being. He will go to great lengths to help you comprehend, but only if you contact him. I'm sure you'll hear back from him within an hour. It will not happen if you refuse to grasp and simply wish to pass without performing any work.

Professor Kotrozzo singlehandedly helped me prepare for real world experience. His class his hard, but so is working in the real world on projects like managing orders and forecasting. It all depends on you, the lazy will fail. Kotrozzo wants you to use your mind, and he is excellent at that. This isn't an easy A class, but for real world prep.

Easily one of the hardest classes I've taken. Tough grader. Syllabus, instructions, and announcements are a long read, but he tells you exactly what he wants and doesn't want. Participate as much as you can. I got an A for participation and 60 on both of the group essays and was able to get away with a B. I think it saved my grade. Good luck!!!

I was intimidated by his reviews, but attending class and using office hours showed he truly cares. Participation counts, and you can earn extra credit—post early with quality. Ask for help on papers before submitting; he's supportive if you reach out. It's a tough class, but I learned a lot. Start the resume assignment early.

Dr Kotrozo is a great professor at Stanislaus. There was tons of work to do in his class but he definitely gives you all the information you need. As hard as this class was I truly believe Dr Kotrozo cares about his students and always makes sure to put you first!

Professor Kotrozo is an amazing professor, however he is not an easy professor. He is more dedicated to his lessons than any professor I've ever had, which means he expects the same from you in terms of effort. If you genuinely put some effort into the class, your grade will reflect that. Very responsive, took no longer than an hour to answer me.

This is the toughest class I have ever taken, however, it is also the class I learned the most from. Expectations are high and clearly set on the syllabus and Dr.K is always there to help you. He would tell you in the first class that he's always there to help but he doesn't know how unless you ask. Group work is a huge factor in this course.
