Great class. She does an excellent job of helping you out and does an great job of teaching and understanding every student.

Great Teacher. Makes learning fun. Motivates you to do well. There is a homework assignment a week. A quiz a week. 3 Tests and a final. if you attend class, you should do well!!

Show up to class, even though it isn't mandatory, take the notes, and you're golden. And if you need help I contacted her through email and in person and she was available and helpful. Great teacher, and I think she is adorable, too!

Fantastic teacher! Fun class! Loves meteorology and knows her subject. Show up to class, take decent notes, do the homework and you will do well and learn a lot in the process. Very helpful and available either during office hours, before/after class or by email. Extra credit opportunities on exams. Take this class and teacher.

I absolutely loved this class and Jasmine! Shes young so she understands her students. She really knows what she is talking about and she is not boring. Just come to class and take notes. We had a multiple choice quiz every couple weeks and homework packet every week(easy w/ notes). Exams and final will be SO easy if you do the work!

Great teacher! Everyday she will lecture and occasionally the class watches a video. A few tests throughout the quarter, and a quiz each week. Taking notes from her lectures helps a lot and she will answer any questions you may have. Very helpful and made the class fun!

she collects homework and actually grades it so make sure to do it correctly. Very clear lectures and doesn't make the class a drag. I hate math but enjoyed her class,so that has to say something.

LOVE her. If she's offering a math class that you're taking, definitely sign up for her class. i don't like math that much but i got 101.5% on the final, and an A in her class. As long as you do the homework the class'll be a breeze. She explains everything clearly and has an obvious enthusiasm for math that made the class very enjoyable

Jasmine was a TERRIFIC teacher! Alot of people think the homework assignments are a waste of time, but they help alot because you don't have to study as hard for the tests. As long as you practice all your quizzes and old tests, you'll for sure do well on the final :)

Very good teacher. She is in her mid-twentys so she is not very strict. Very helpful and explained well. Only downside is she wears tight pants which made it hard to pay attention to what she wrote on the board.

I took the class online and she was such a great teacher. You have to work in order to get an A but if you do the readings and go over her notes you will do great!

She is really firm with her syllabus and grading, but if you study and do what's expected you'll be fine. She's great at explaining math concepts. Go to class and be sure to show up for quizzes and do all the homework. Definitely recommend for a math teacher, the only bad thing is she is very difficult to get ahold of outside of class.

She is a wonderful teacher! I would take more math classes from her in the future. Quiz every week. Go to the math lab if you ever have trouble's with the concepts. The tests are pretty simple. If you do the first 5 or 6 questions from every section and understand it, you will get a good grade in the class. Best Math class I have ever taken.

I took calc from a horrible teacher last year, and redid calc with jasmine. best choice ever! quizzes every friday, but it helps cuz u hardly have to study for exams. very friendly, eager to help, manageable workload, very fair grading. i currently have an A in the class. TAKE THIS CLASS! you won't regret it!

Cetrone is absolutely great! the class is by no means easy but she definitely helps a lot and is not boring to listen to. i'd take more classes from her

I took this class before with another prof. and failed. Clarity of material was terrible! I'm glad I took it again with Jasmine. Her lectures made it easy to comprehend the materials. Just attend class and do the hwk and you will do well on the quizes and tests. Although she is part time at BCC, she's still available for help through other means.

Jasmine Cetrone is an excellent math teacher. She conveyed Calculus I with great clarity and purpose. If I needed help with anything, she was always available prior to class to discuss. She was also very responsive to email if I had a question. I would highly recommend her.

Great teacher, very helpful when needed... Lectures actually taught the subject, and she has a helpful website with solutions if you get stuck on your (non required) homework.

Very fun class and teacher. Everything seems to be laid out for an easy A, if you come to class. Without her notes it will be difficult for you to complete the homework. She is friendly and energetic which is a good thing in the morning.

Overall I found that if you sit throught the lectures and listen and suggest things that you can get by with out taking a single note in the entire class and pass with flying colors. However if you plan on taking that aproach, make sure you do not miss ANY class or just get her notes from her which she is always willing to make copies of.

She is fun, has a sense of humor, and definitely has a calling for teaching. She encourages everyone to get involved with one another and interact, even though I took her online class. It was a fun class and I am surprised with how much I retained. The tests were a bit tough, but the rest of the class was fair. Highly recommended! :)

Awesome teacher. Amazingly nice. Is crystal clear on everything. Has a fair will drop 1 quiz a quarter system so if you do bad on one your ok. She's very genuine and straight to the point. Repays your time in her class with knowledge.

ONLINE - Jasmine is one of the best teachers I've ever had. Weekly homework, fun discussion is not time consuming + 1 student response, 4 exams that are hard - you have to know the content. Our class average on exams have been around 75%. But she makes it fun and is very on top of things. Best class so far and I'm almost done with my AA.

She is an awesome teacher - very clear, explains stuff in fantastic way, also very friendly. One thing I did not like - sometimes it took her long time to grade the tests.

She is very clear in class. Weekly quiz- only a couple of questions.Four exams- questions from HW/Quizes. There are no surprises on tests/quizes-you will have seen everything before. Take notes, do worksheets, go to class and you will get an A in class!

Great teacher overall, however she does spend a good amount of time doing trivial things like proving laws and writing out entire story problems on the board. Examples are usually long winded and dance around the point which may be useful for all but the quicker people in the class. Teaches straight out of the book and class is not mandatory.

Love her! Was gone for 6 days in class because I went on a mission trip this quarter and she worked with me to schedule test and quizes so that my grade didn't go totally down the toilet. TAKE HER CLASSES!

Best math teacher i have ever had. She explains all the concepts of the class very clearly and you do examples of the concepts, then she gives you practice problems in case you still dont get it. She made the class easy with her teaching style, because she is such a great teacher. super hot :) and she is very caring and wants everyone to do well!!

Full of energy. Loves her job. Communicates well with students. The only complain that I have is that her lecture is exactly the same as the textbook. This is a huge--HUGE--problem, since the textbook that we use is sometimes confusing. Other than that, she's a great teacher.

She truly was the best math teacher that I have ever had! She's extremely cheerful and explains everything well. She made me love math again! She has assignments that are graded only on completion (easy A+), so attendance is mandatory since you never know when these will be given out. I would take a class taught by her again in a heartbeat!

Gives one quiz per week and throws out the lowest score. Homework is checked to ensure it's turned in but not graded. midterms and final do not have "trick" questions; the hardest questions are given in the homework, and the test questions are simpler and just ensure you understand the concept. Partial credit is given.

Jasmine is fun and extrememly knowledgeable! There's a quiz once a week that's not difficult if you've been paying attention. Homework is harder than the tests, and is not graded, just checked. If you listen in class and do the homework, you should get an A.

If bees had knees, Jasmine Cetrone would be those knees. If you were granted 3 wishes at some point in your life, I would strongly recommend using all 3 wishes on taking calc 1, 2, and 3 with Jasmine. She explain things so well that you will often leave class feeling enlightened; it's the easiest way to achieve "zen", forget going to a temple.

Incredible Teacher. 92 percent to get an A, drops lowest quiz score and if you do well on the final it replaces a test score. NO CURVEBALLS. Very organized and teaches extremely clear and well. Take her don't even hesitate. She is totally awesome and loves her students and she is super fun. Class was important to go to but wasn't required.

Took online. One of the best organized online classes anywhere. Great instructor. Lots of instructor interaction and feedback. Plenty of friendly reminders of deadlines. Four tests, weekly homework and online discussions, two projects.

I took this online with only vague initial interest and came out of it way more interested and having learned quite a bit more than expected. It was well organized and had a nice balance between book and (often quite funny) note usage. Overall pretty easy, extremely informative, and engaging. Would definitely recommend!

Jasmine is a GREAT teacher, hands down. I took her for METR 101 and I had so much fun. She's not easy, but she's not hard either. She loves her job, and it shows. If you want to pass her class you need to be there EVERYDAY, because she teaches something new everyday. As long as you attend, study, ask questions, and be positive, you'll pass.

Jasmine is a great teacher!!! Very passionate about math, has very easy, clear approach to the subject and made the hard concepts of calculus seam very easy. She doesn't take attendance. Has quizes every tuesday on last weeks material, and dropps the lowest score. Couple assignments to take home. I was never bored and would recommend to take her!

very easy to understand teacher. relaxed atmosphere, textbook homework problems are optional. gives a few in class assignments that count as attendance points you can only get them if youre there but its basically a free 20% of your grade. very helpful, funny, entertaining ang engaging. i hate math but loved her class!!

Prior to taking this class, I had subpar experiences with math throughout high school. Now, halfway through my first quarter, I am absolutely in love with calculus. Jasmine is passionate, engaged, HILARIOUS, kind, and smart. She is helpful in class and during office hours. EVERYONE NEEDS TO TAKE A CLASS WITH JASMINE. You will not regret it.

Hands down one of the best math instructors (probably in the country). You get out what you put in to her class though. Work hard, ask her a million questions, and you will be successful in her classes.

She was trying to use the new method where students work together to solve problems in class. I was okay with the method, but the first and second tests were relatively harder than others so I would recommend study hard from the beginning. I think she started to lecture more after the mid term, and the lecture was pretty good too.

At first I didn't like the new teaching method where we had to work in groups instead of her doing lectures because I learn better when teachers teach. But you will get use to the method. I love her because she's always willing to help and answer questions. I got an A in there even though I hated the new method in the beginning. Just work hard.

Absolutely take Jasmine. New teaching style for Calc II is scary at first but I got the hang of it and it works. I love her!!

Jasmine rocks! Her new teaching style requires new (better) study habits but it pays off. Just read the night before, do all the homework until every problem is right and go in for help if you need it. It's a hard subject though and she teaches it SO WELL! She's clearly knowlegeable and passionate :)

I love this teacher. She used a great explanation for her teaching.She taught very clearly. Furthermore, Her tests were not really difficult if you learned from the assignment class before. Mostly (boy) students are dominated in her class.

Jasmine is the freaking best math teacher you will EVER have. She is so fair and cool, and she is crystal clear in her explanations. She makes Calc 2 not so scary.. which is difficult to do. Above all else, TAKE HER.

She is honestly a caring, great, and genius teacher! Her teaching methods are different than what you will normally find in a classroom. But it is so worth it, if you always come to class and do your homework. If you show that you work hard, the last grade she can adjust it. Be a hard worker and you will reach an A.

Jasmine is very good at teaching but she tends to go a bit fast. You will need to really understand the material to get an A because her quiz and tests are a bit tricky. If you do all the assign hws even if they are not required; you will be in a good shape. I ended up with 100+ % overall.

Probably the best math teacher I have ever had. She says in the beginning of the class that her quizzes are not meant to confuse you. All her quizzes are exactly like what we covered in class. She explains everything really thoroughly. She does go a little quick but she is available to help during her office hours. Great teacher!!

The most helpful math teacher. Not an understatement. She informs students the background of equations and goes through step-by-step and will do their best to have EVERYONE understand. She is clear, concise and will do her best for her students-even if she is swamped. The most I've learned and understood from a math class. Very much recommend.

Best math teacher I have ever had! Her lectures are very clear and I had no trouble learning the materials. She is great about showing the process not just an equation, this was perfect for my style of learning, she loves teaching math and makes you love math too!

Jasmine is a wonderful Math teacher. I struggle immensely with Math (as I didn't pass this class)and she made me feel so much better about not doing well. Some Math teachers do really well at making you feel dumb, and Jasmine doesn't do that. I am re-taking the class Summer Quarter with a different teacher so I am hoping I'll have positive results.

Jasmine is amazing! Best math instructor I have ever had and I am very sad that she is leaving BC. She teaches you how to derive stuff, and teaches through that. Basically all the black magic part of math is cleared up and they became more like puzzles that you CAN figure out. Enthusiastic about math

She's super awesome! Her tests are worth a lot of the class. There were only three and then one final and you don't have any chance for do-overs. However, as long as you study hard, do homework, and listen to the lectures, then you should get a good grade.

I REALLY wish she taught MATH148. She's so nice and so helpful and VERY fair. She lets you work on assignments and quizzes all week so you don't have an excuse to fall behind. She's there whenever you have questions and is really nice to the students. Probably one of my favorite teachers at BC so far.

I took Jasmine online and she was very quick to answer any questions. There was weekly homework on quizzes each week but they were pretty easy if you don't wait until last minute. I thought it'd be tough doing online math but I actually learned a lot. There was one online test and 3 on campus and those are a lot of your grade so study!!

Jasmine Cetrone was a super approachable online math professor. Do your homework and study the lecture notes and you will get a good grade in this class. Don't expect to do all the homework on the last day and do well! Clear prompt grading and communication. Tests are easy if you know the material, but expect to have to learn a lot!

Jasmine is a great teacher. It's completely obvious that Jasmine wants her students to succeed and does what she can to help. She puts a lot of effort into her notes and handouts, and was always prompt, thorough and clear when answering questions. Exams were thorough but totally fair. Gives equitable partial credit for work shown.

Excellent professor. Writes really great feedback on shown work and explains clearly. Super patient, fair, and friendly. Wants you to succeed and is happy to help you make it there -- just show some effort. Emails back exams with annotations and corrections in color. So helpful! Go out of your way to select on of her sections, you won't regre it.
