She is very nice and helpful. She always lets you know when she is available in case you need extra help.The way she explains the problems are a lot better than the book. Teaches step by step problems on board and expects participation whether you are right or wrong. She is goofy and funny but who wants a math class with a characterless professor!

Great instructor, Have been out of school 40+ yrs and decided to get my degree. Class was difficult in that it was the 6 week session so covered over 750 pages. Ms. Vazquez was excellent. i LOVE professor Vazquez. She is so sweet to all her students, she answers any questions needed about the material. although she does give ALOT of work in one day all you have to do is just take your notes and you will be ok cause she goes through everything thoroughly, she even helped solve a problem i had on ALEKS and she took her time to fix it.

She's an awesome professor, always willing to help students out, she gives a lot of extra credit. You just have to do all your Aleks work attend class and take great notes in case there's an open note exam.

She's a really good professor, takes the time to learn your name and she's very helpful. Took her in summer and now want to take every math course with her. I LOVED her grading style and got A's in all of her classes. Math Lab is not required but works as extra points which is great.

Professor Vazquez is awesome! She's super helpful and gives detailed lessons. I'm terrible at math but she made getting a good easy. The only thing is that you have to buy a MyLabPlus code but the assignments really help you learn. I recommend her to anyone!

Professor Vazquez is a beast!! I'm very horrible at math to the point I normally have to take the class 3 times. Professor Vazquez makes things so clear and understandable. I wish she taught the other STA class, because I would definitely take her again. Her test are on exact what you learned so if you study you will do well.

I love this professor. I wish she was teaching sta2023........ She is very helpful. If you don't pass her class with an 'A', you didn't, you didn't want one. She makes a way for you to catch up if you fall behind as well. I just hate i wasted $160 on the book we never used and that i can't resell.

Mrs. Vazquez is a very helpful Teacher. she would go out of her way to make sure you understand the material. i got an A and trust me i suck at math. She provides extra credit work to help with your grades. there's a class field trip for extra credit which was fun. exams are all multiple choice and give extra credit. Take her you won't regret it.

Math is my worse subject, but she is really a great professor. There are a lot of notes, but its essential to passing her class, as all HW and tests are based on her notes. Don't miss class or you will fall behind. Go to class, show a lot of effort and you will pass. I passed with a B.

I took her online MAT1005, if you follow the sysllabus you should be good and just make sure you do ALEKS and STUDY for final(if I did probably would have got an A).

Great Prof! she makes sure everybody understands multiple choice test gives practice test make sure you do them as they are similar to the test just the number changes on some.

I had her online stats class and everyone told me stats would be difficult. It wasn't. The class is very easy as long as you keep track with the deadlines of discussions and quizzes. The textbook is online and it's free so that's a bonus. My final grade was a B.

Professor Vasquez is by far one of the best math teachers I have taken hands down. She really cares about her students. Although I passed with a C it could have been worse. She goes back to your work and finds things that she can give you half points for to boost your grade I would definitely recommend her whether you are good or bad at math!!!

Homework is Aleks. She is an excellent professor she explains the work with a few examples then gives us a worksheet in class. you will miss a lot if u are absent but she allows you to turn in the work. The grades you get on each assignment is it there is no extra credit and she does not help bump the grades unfortunately.

One of the best teachers i've taken if you want to pass pre-cal while still learning the subject take this professor. She will not assume you remember every you learned from algebra as quite a few teachers seem to struggle to realise. Very good feed back aswell as lectures.

Prof Vazquez was an awesome teacher. I took a 27-day summer course so it was pretty fast-paced. I'm not very math inclined but because of her I am forever able to understand statistics. She writes everything out for you and gives lots of examples, your notes will be exactly what you need to succeed. She is very easy to understand too. I recommend.

Easiest math class you'll EVER take. This is my second taking her & she never disappoints. I suck at math & I got an A like what?? Test are easy. Beware, she talks to you like a child but if you suck at math like me, it just makes it easier. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!

Took MAC1105 online. The class is an easy A if you complete all your assignments on time. I do struggle with math but this course was still easy. The exam reviews are very similar to the proctored tests, so just practice those and you'll be fine. Try not to wait until the last minute to complete your assignments!

Prof Vazquez is TRULY one of those gem math teachers. A good math teacher is hard to find, I feel. I took a blended class, most of the work is done through ALEKS. many hate it, but if you do the work you will learn how to do it and get an A. she is extremely caring and has a great personality. I enjoyed this class a lot! Math has never been my strong suit and I ended up with a B! Her test are easy, most of the lectures reflect the homework and test. She gives extra credit out, she drops your lowest test, assignment and quiz! Make sure you attend glass because she does random blackboard polls!

This class is challenging but that's mostly due to having so much material to cover in a short time. I'm currently enrolled, but being my first math course in 10 years, this professor has made my return easy. Always helpful, always responds to emails, willing to give up her time to help you 1 on 1, but tutoring is preferred. Take this professor!

Took this course online, great teacher! Very timely, quick responses. Assignments and quizzes are on myhrw, the final was proctored. The material is easy to learn as it is college entry-level math and required basic algebra, geometry, and calculus skills.

This professor is one of the best math professors I have had! She teaches very well and explains all the material thoroughly. She has office hours, and don't be afraid to ask questions or ask for any help. She gives study guides before tests, and that helps a lot. I would retake her.

I had this prof for mac1140. Overall this professor has an amazing and lively personality. She's very nice and understanding. However, the class (trig) is a very difficult class. She tries her best to make it as easy as possible, but study study study. And ask questions! That's how you'll do best.

Took this professor when taking MAC1105C for the second time. She really works with you and takes time after class or office hours to help you fully understand. Decent amount of Aleks homework but if you stay on top of that you'll be fine. Test Preps are just like the actual tests, and I am taking her again for my next two math classes.
