Absolutely amazing! Dr. Apodaca challenges conventional teaching styles and elicits class participation. This is one teacher who really seems to care about his students and their success.

Dr. Apodaca is one of the coolest down to earth professors I've ever had. I actually looked forward to my classes. We would sit and discuss current events, and he incorporated teaching into the networking. I highly recommend his classes. No homework just 2 tests the entire semester. Buy a used book for this class.

He does seem to think he knows it all and his way is the "best" way. His smarmy smartass remarks do get tiring listening to. Its a bit annoying being that he said we absolutely had to have the book and yet we have only used it twice? Book was not cheap, I'd like to use it! All that being said, he does make class interesting..I guess.

B ready to take notes even though he will write almost nothing on the board but he'll get annoyed if you are just sitting there not taking any notes as he talks. He is scatter brained. If you like not doing anything the entire class period keep asking questions and he'll just talk through the entire class till its time to go.

JAson is one of a kind when it comes to getting new college student prepared for the real world. Traveling from new york and not knowing what to expect my first time in houston or college. Attendance is a must! And he is very willing to work with anyone who has issues coming to class. He is also very willing to assist with other classes. He has a very unique teaching stlye to say the least.

But beware, he has very strong opinions and beliefs, so if you're closed minded and shy, then you'll get called out. (not in a mean way) uses the textbook in class only, buy it used!

Dr. Apodaca is definitely THE BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD! I don't understand why there are even bad reviews about Jason, he never gives homework and makes pop up quizzes, and he tries his best to make everyone passing his course easy. I mean, extremely easy! All you need to do to get an A is to show up frequently, and take good note. EASY A!!!!!!

Awesome teacher! Would recommend to anyone, although he can be a bit rude sometimes he's still one of the best teachers i've ever had. BUT if you don't like being picked on for being quiet or don't recognize sarcasm you might not like this teacher. Don't get me wrong he's awesome but he has a few flaws that bug every now and then.

This class was easy but if you cant take a joke, look for someone else. Best advice: do the undated assignments first!!! The earlier you do it, the easiest 100 you can get and if you make any mistakes, he will help you fix them.

I chose this professor through here, and let me say BEST DECISION EVER! I will truly miss his class. Sucks that I won't be able to have him in other classes because I would have chosen him! This is an easy A class. Read, do your assignments, take your midterms on time and you will have no problem. If you fail this class you should go back to high-school cause you're not serious about college. I disagree 100% with the comment below. The professor is outgoing, listens to you and will accommodate you if you have a valid reason.

Amazing, and caring professor. His class is very easy to pass and is a very fun guy to be around. He may come off as rude at first but he really knows his stuff and his brutally honest. Wish I could take his class again, I definitely would recommend his class if you want an easy A. Make sure to do his assignments in time though!
