PROFESSOR CHESNUT IS THE BEST TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. His personality makes him seem really sarcastic & it is hysterical. Classes are fun because it is all socializing about the topics, not boring lectures and notes. The tests are a perfect difficulty and I my only concern is that he does not teach every class at UCF. :(

Took Clinical online. I wish someone had warned me about the amount of work involved. I'm an A student, and I struggled to keep up with all the assignments. You read 30-40+ pages a week, write 3-4 discussion postings, reply to 3-4 posts, then do 3 assignments and take a quiz. There's also a paper-length quote assignment. It's intense!

He is a wonderful professor. The summer class is very intense. There are two small books for the class. There are several chapters due every week each with: 1 Discussion, Quizzes and questions for e/a chapter. Two test with 48 questions each and a final exam with 80 questions. I loved this class because his notes are awesome-right to the point.

Responds to emails quickly. Class consists of some discussions, short assignments, and quizzes on the required reading. Books aren't too boring. Tests based on books/outlines, no surprises. A lot of stuff on LGBTQ issues rather than women, but there was some intersection. Mostly interesting information. Good professor. Learned a lot.

This professor is very easy to reach but grades heavily. I suggest actually reading the books because cheating does not get you a good grade. It takes a lot of time to set aside for this class, but it is pretty straightforward. The final was pretty hard, but extra credit kept the grade up. Also don't forget APA style

This class is a waste of time. You spend time reading the chapters for nothing. The assignments have little to nothing to do with the text and directions for the assignment are unclear. He has about 100 TAs grading the assignments and it still takes a week to hear back. It is better to wait to turn in your assignments until you receive feedback.

The professor is nice but completely unprofessional because the TAs do all the grading, and they are incredibly nitpicky with what they want in assignments that are completely ambiguous; students keep emailing the professor until he gives them the answers, which is the only way for an A. Imagine obtaining a PhD and running this joke of a class.

Pretty bland online class, and that says something for an online class. Lot's of reading, test taking, and discussion posts. Nothing notable about this guy. Did not care for the class.

I loved the class so much it was my favorite class I have ever taken and the professor is amazing. One week I accidentally missed like 6 assignments and he let me make them all up for full credit.

Pretty easygoing professor. Lots of homework but if you stay on top of it it's fine. You need two books but you can get them online for cheap. Weekly discussions and case study assignments in second and third portions of the class. Exams are basically open note. Cite your sources if you're using something besides the books. Taken in Spring 2024.

He's very caring towards his students and incredibly understanding as long as you communicate with him. You do have to read the textbook a lot but the material is interesting and the notes you get from attending class does a good job at summarizing. Exams were in person and easy to get a good grade on as long as you complete the study guides.

Weekly chapter quizzes are dependent on the textbook, 2 assignments/discussions per chapter, and a test every 3 or 4 chapters. Class is going through a note outline he makes for you, you fill in the blanks as a class. Very caring, got info across well, class was fun. TAs grade everything which could be annoying, but he's always there to talk to.

This professor is awesome! His lectures are funny if you actually read them. No proctored exams, but 100 questions on the test. The diagnoses are fun once you get the hang of them. And literally, you can email him and he helps you out a ton for the diagnosis if you have something wrong, because he is looking for specifics. Amazing professor!

Loved this professor and the way he taught his class. He's super engaging and funny, and he really values feedback and takes into account how students will feel about certain assignments and lecture material. He will adjust accordingly if the class likes or dislikes certain assignments and will even cut things out to help with the workload.

He provides guided notes every week where you will have everything if you just pay attention in class. He's super charismatic, will engage with students in conversation, will alter the course as students provide feedback, and provides excellent study guides for the exams. I actively looked forward to his class every day, couldn't recommend him more

The ppl that complain abt the TAs and the way he grades just don't do their work right. I have TA-ed and taken three of his classes. He looks for specifics but they are obvious and EASY if u just DO UR WORK. Hes an amazing, flexible, and funny professor, he just doesnt put up with laziness or AI and ppl get mad. Hes the best psych prof UCF has.

This was a good class, challenging for me because I didn't set aside time to study or read the textbook much. The material is interesting. Tests are open note and a bit lengthy. He's very understanding and for discussions / assignments he isn't a harsh grader. Just read his module summaries & the textbook and you'll be good.
