He is a great teacher. He covers a lot of material in a short time but is always willing to help by answering questions and meeting with students outside of class. He has a great sense of humor and breaks up lectures with interesting stories about the past and tells us how history relates to today. Study your notes and you'll do fine.

His class is one of my favorites. I look forward to his lectures he gives no homework all you have to do is take chapter tests which you take at home, are given the questions to and they are from the book. All of his in class tests are from the lectures which you take notes on. This class is not hard at all if you take 30 min everynight and study.

No homework except for the chapter tests which you have the questions to before you actually take the test. You get a chance to do extra credit on every test. I dont know how anyone could be critical unless its their first time in college and they dont know better, you have to study at least a little to get a good grade in this class but thats it.

I took Dr. Frawley in June, and though the classes were long, Dr. Frawley always kept it interesting with his stories and straight talk. Regarding the previous comment, if you "cheated," and only managed a C, you must be dumb as a brick. Dr. Frawley did call out one student for plagiarism on the last day; I'm guessing it was you. If you're looking for an easy class don't take him but honestly if you do the work right it's not hard, just takes time. Luckily there's not a lot of busy work and when you do have to write you get options. Tests are hard but you can make a study sheet (don't call it a cheat sheet) He's stern but very thorough. And you had 2 chances on tests.

He was not reasonable or very helpful. Is not sympathetic if you have an emergency or technical issues. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! He is very rude and if possible I definitely would have given him a zero. He grades rharrdhly. He wants your work to be extremely detailed. He also assigns the MOST BORING READINGS EVER! I have never been so frustrated.

I took him for Winter-Mester, and it was a really good decision to pick him. the work for this class is reasonable considering it is all packed into 3 weeks. Very specific over test material & allows to have a 1 front & back review sheet during the test. If you aren't able to keep up with a self-paced type of learning then this course isn't for you
