Mr. King is such a good teacher. You can tell that he really loves his job and he is very dedicated! Super nice guy...take him if you have trouble in math

Mr. King is an awesome teacher. He relates well to the students, he tells some funny stories, and somehow they end up relating to Math and making sense! Highly reccomended if you want a very human teacher, and also highly reccomended if you are not very good with Math. EXCELLENT teacher, I hope he teaches higher level math courses. Will take again!

Can you say AWESOME?!? I took him for 090-098. Hes funny, and explains everything in lamin terms (if i spelt that right). Great at explaining, if u hated math before u'll might end up loving it after. Attendence is required, and not HOMEWORK!! Trust me on dis one!

Mr. King was a fabulous teacher. He explained things extremely well. Jason always went out of his way to get to know his students on a personable level as well! He knew something about everyone! He even brought his guitar to class one time hoping to intsill a song to help us remember a math equation, and it serioulsy worked!! He was the coolest!!

he is an all around professor... he teacher math but also teacher geography! he is sooo funny, he gave us chocolate candies the first day of class and he even brought and played this musical instrument to make the lesson fun!

AMAZING teacher! I loved him! I had him for 3 weeks in the Summer and i did not regret taking his class! He is extremely helpful and will ALMOST GIVE YOU THE ANSWER for any test problem you have. Homework quizzes are easy, do the hw! AMAZING! I LOVED HIM!

I took MTH 142 over the summer so attendance was mandatory. The tests were easy and the homework was optional. He's a very nice guy; nerdy but very easy to like. I recommend.

I HATE MATH but Mr. King is so helpful and will do anything to help you understand the material. He goes above and beyond. I wish all teachers were like him!

Took him for Math 098 online. Turned out to be pretty easy and the tests were multiple choice. There were some glitches on blackboard at times but he was easy to catch in his office or the hallways. I WISH he taught College Algebra online! He's a great teacher A++

Jason King is a great teacher! Im awful at math, but I passed. Dont bother buying the book you never use it. Grades are mostly all the tests so do well on those. He stresses from the first day on that he wants all of us to succeed, so he tries and is a very nice man. Very very funny, you will not be bored!!

I love Mr. King! Great Teacher! I love math now thanks to him! :) He is really friendly and he takes his time in class so if you do not understand he will slow it down and go through it with you.

Very HELPFUL! You can go to his office hours or send an email anytime. Math is not my subject, yet I am managing an A! No homework. First test was a fun test-not related to Math that everyone got an A on. Very fun and lightens the mood. His motto is: "I'll go at your pace. If you need to slow down, we'll slow down. Faster? Sure! It's what you want!

I took his class at 8am. Yes, a Math class at 8am. But he made it so enjoyable and fun that I looked forward to getting up in the morning. He was funny, would tell stories about his life, and had a great knowledge of pop culture. He also gives you fake tests,so you know what to study for. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

He is a great teacher for those who don't like math. He is tons of fun making math fun. Uses different techniques to help students remember things. He even uses a guitar and sings to help students remember certain mathematical principles.

King was cool...really dorky, and kinda treats you like a 6 year old but you never use the book, he never gave us any homework but the studying is up to you. likes him so much i took him for two different math classes!

One of the coolest teachers ever! I took his MTH 098 class online. Even for an online math class, I was able to understand it with his help. He answers emails fast and always gets back to you. If you have to take algebra, take him you won't regret it. Some teachers make math so hard, but Mr. King doesn't.

Awesome teacher took his online class and struggled but he was there every step of the way. He is a great funny face to face teacher if you don't like algebra tack his class face to face

Mr. King is an awesome teacher. After previously taking this class with another teacher and dropping it, I took it again the next semester with Mr. King and loved it. He's always there to answer questions you have and is really down to earth. He made class enjoyable and I enjoyed it very much. Definately take of you aren't very good at math.

Mr. King is an amazing teacher!If you struggle in math , you will do just fine in his class. I hate math and passed his class with flying colors, without doing any homework or extra credit. not like most teachers. cares about his students. i loved his class he brought in his guitar and drilled formulas in our head with songs he went out of his way to make for us. very funny n relates his class to our lives n tells many corny jokes. attendance isnt mandatory but hes one of those teachers where if u miss u will feel bad. hes a must take

I Like Him as a person and I took him for geography after having him for Mth 095. He tries to make class interesting, but the material can really be boring and dry. Tests aren't bad and he offers opportunities to make up lost points. He doesn't always respond to emails and can be forgetful when returning assignments. He is a really nice guy though

He's simply the greatest teacher I've had at Moraine. I signed up for his mastery class. Used Math XL. And it was fantastic. He's a magnificent teacher and knowledgeable on subjects way beyond mathematics if you like small talking. I was able to use my mp3 in class while I was working on the computer. 11/10 teacher. Take 'em!

He trys to make things as simple as possible for you hes straight to the point. Always ready to help. Really knows his stuff. I'm not a big fan of math but I finished 095 and 098 all within one semester of his online class you MUST go to class though. he honestly wants nothing but the best for his students. Also, he's hilarious!!!

Awesome teacher! He makes things really easy and clear. He's fun and if you take him in the morning he understands how it's too early to learn so he makes class fun. You also watch 3 movies over the semester which take up a week of class.

took his class for 095 got an easy A. very easy to talk to responds to emails. very understanding. let me take my mid term right before my final. also took his class for GEO 101 and got an A. pretty solid teacher, taking him this semester for GEO 102! take him!

King is a great professor and wants you to do well. The class is very easy. Everything is posted before hand with due dates for each unit so you could technically finish everything before it's due. There are 2-4 discussion boards for each unit and the papers are answering 3-4 questions a page and a half each. Each unit is a month apart. Very easy!

BEST PROFESSOR AT MORAINE VALLEY!! Got an easy A for Math 095, which Professor King says himself that he thinks is one of the hardest math classes on campus. For an 8 A.M. class, I enjoyed attending. He made it fun. Very humorous and laid back. Best part, you don't need a text book! TAKE HIM!!

Seriously one of the best professors ever. Everything on the test is on the study guide. Gives chances to retake a test if you don't do well the first time. Really explains answers if you don't understand. Cannot go wrong taking him.

Seriously the best professor at moraine! he's so funny and nice and a great teacher! he makes the class easy and the material understandable. please take him! his class gets full fast so you better hurry! no textbook but will use methyl which is a pain but other than that this class was so awesome.

If you're one of those people that HATE math, you need to take him!! He is a great professor. He explains everything so clearly and he makes it fun which is hard to do. He understands that math isn't everyones #1 but he likes to joke around in class and make you laugh in the process. I had him at 9am and I never slept in his class!

Took him online for MTH 090-095. Class is an easy A. He is really chill and laid back. You do everything at your own pace which I loved. Midterm due in the middle of the semester and Final at the end. For classes like MTH 090-095 you don't need to go in person take online with Mr. King its easier. MAKE SURE YOU DO ALL THE WORK.

Professor King is amazing. He explains math in such a simple way. I always had trouble with math especially when a teacher can't do their job and teach good, but in this case, I understood everything he taught and when we have questions he answers in a very descriptive way for us to understand. But be aware there is a lot of Math XL.

If you are taking math 095 or 098 TAKE HIM!!! He makes the material less scary and lets you retake tests if you dont do well on them. Very funny.

He is one of my favorites instructors! He is very kind and funny, and he will always try his best to help you pass his class, but you will work at your own pace because everything is online. He will still make sure that if you're doing well with math and make sure that you're understanding the materials(RECOMMENDED). I love math now thanks to him:)

Mr. King definitely worth taking for a math professor. He knows how to explain his lectures and try to help others by showing how the math problem is done on the board.

He is quite the character! He makes something so boring like math actually fun. Sometimes he brings treats for class and gives plenty of time to go over homework and practice tests. He always makes himself available to help a student. And cracks a joke here and there so his classes are never boring. Nice guy, highly recommend!

Mr. King is a great online prof. There were only 2 tests, one being the semester for GEO101 and about 12 discussion posts which were thought provoking. They are easy and you can retake the tests using his feedback to get all the points. I got an A+ just by doing the work every other week. If you need GEO, TAKE him! Wish I took him for math too!

Good professor and for once in my life math actually made sense to me. He was always willing to help, I really appreciated the time he put in. My only complaint would be organizational skills. I thought I had an A and was going to maintain my 4.0 GPA and was completely blind sided in the end because I wasn't updated even when I asked consistently:/

Jason King was an awesome professor. He was available when needed. I took the course that was a lab class which meant that all of the homework and exams were done on Mathxl program. Not a lot of lecture which was a plus!

The best online class I've ever taken. You have so much time to complete assignments as well as the midterm and the final. He is so sweet and doesn't overload you with pointless busy work!! Take him.

Jason King can be seen as one of the best professors at Moraine Valley. He's an extremely talented and passionate teacher. He takes a subject matter that is unpleasant for most and creates a very relaxing and fun atmosphere in the classroom. Professor King is my favorite teacher I've had probably ever. You can tell how much he cares about his students and how he wants to see them pass no matter what. He's one of the few teachers I've encountered that seems like they actually likes to teach and likes to help their students learn. Take his class!

King cares about your success. There was not really any work but a few discussion boards. Try to rent the textbook, no need to buy it. No quizzes and exams are written responses. This was probably the easiest summer course I took. It is nice that the discussions/exams are more your opinion. He's flexible and accommodating. I'd take him again.

Grades are made up of opinion based discussion boards, but you don't have to respond to others and no min words. Exams are paragraph style responses to 4 questions of your choice. He takes long to grade, but he is really understanding and will let you redo assignments if you want a better grade.

Very easy class if you stay on track. Everything is due before you finish the semester. Quizzes are very similar to tests and are very helpful. You can get help from the professor, online textbook, or click to the key. If you stay on track class is very easy. Also Mr. King is super helpful and kind! Would definitely take him again!

Professor King is the best professor I have ever had. If I could have him for every class in every subject, I would , hands down. Not only does Professor King ensure that you are reaching your potential as a student, he always takes the time to advocate for you as a person. Easy material and content. Overall 13/10.

Assignments are all due by the end of the semester so you dont have to worry about due dates. Just make sure you do good on the tests thats where the entire grade is really.

We never got to meet Mr. King because the class was all online, but from reading his syllabus to announcements he seems like a genuine guy. He is really accommodating to his students and wants them to do well. I hope I get him in a class in the future, because having a teach that respects and cares about his students says a lot GIVE HIM A RAISEEEEE

Best teacher for COL 101. I recommend taking his online class. I finished all of the assignments for the class in a few hours. Has two extra credit assignments. Very helpful. His canvas is a little sloppy, but you'll figure it out soon. Final is a 3 page paper, but very easy. Hit or miss with the emails. Overall 8.5/10

I took him for both GEO101 and 102 and he is amazing!! In both classes we just had discussion boards every week that were pretty much opinion based, and a test at the end of each unit where you just had to pick a couple of questions to write a response to. Make sure you put effort into your discussion board responses and you'll do just fine.

Best professor. I would take him for all my classes. He was very understanding and wanted you to succeed. Puts assignments up in advance and doesn't make any due dates. You can complete them on your own time as long as you get them in before the semester is over. Short paper for a final that you'll actually enjoy writing. Learned good info.

Jason King is a great professor! I started classes at Moraine Valley not too long ago, but he's got to be my favorite lecturer so far. He doesn't assign a lot of homework, but you are expected to complete discussion board assignments by the day of the final (which are easy, but they get you thinking!) I'd definitely take his classes again!

Professor King is amazing. He is super sweet. He answers his emails very quickly, he does not drag within grading and answering emails. You can ask him any questions or anything youre confused on and he will provide you with more clear and specific information. Super great and chil Professor!Definitely would take him again and would recommend him!

Professor King is truly one of the best professors I've taken Moraine, he truly cares for his students and is funny! He's very patient and makes sure everyone is on the same page before moving on. Wow, what an amazing teacher, I have never had a math teacher like him. Throughout high school, I never had good grades in math, but with his help, I got myself an A! Honestly I would take him again.

Not even exaggerating he is the best professor ever. everything is self paced and he cares more about your mental health then anything. you will have to do a few discussion boards about the PowerPoint lecture but ITS VERY EASY, nothing that will stress you out. and you have 4 written exams and the questions are opinionated. Take him to not stress!

Very easy class. Mainly just discussion boards and exams for grade. Exams were easy, just answer a paragraph each for like 4 of the questions he lists (which are again pretty easy and don't require extensive research either). Highly recommend.

By far the BEST professor I've ever had! He gives you plenty of time to complete your work and also allows multiple tries to redo your assignments and get the grade you want. I don't think it is possible to fail his class because he truly wants each student to succeed. I highly recommend taking his class if you get the chance!

Take him especially if you have other classes that require more of your attention he gives lots of time to do assignments and his lectures are quick and engaging powerpoints. He's also funny so that's a plus.

He is a bit on the awkward time sometimes, but overall he's funny and such a sweet professor. All the homework is due at the end of the semester, so that's a plus. Professor King was amazing. I would 100% take him again. He is SUPER flexible with due dates. He is SOOOO understanding, unlike your typical professor who treats their students as if they only take one class. He also grades fairly. Took online but he seems VERY sweet! Also great with communication answers at anytime that I reached out.
