I would definitely take one of Dr. Mack's classes again. I learned so much but didn't feel overwhelmed by the workload. The group work and individual work was a very good balance and I think every lecture covered an important topic that was engaging.

He is willing to help as long as you ask for it and genuinely wants every student to succeed in his class and whatever else they're taking. I would recommend him for any difficult class like statistics.

Dr. Mack is a great professor with amazing lectures. I took his Statistics class and although it was tough he really explained a lot in his lectures. There was a lot of homework but mainly was given out for practice. I really recommend reading the book and watch his lecture videos!

I have never met such a nice, caring teacher before that actually wanted his students to pass AND leave the course knowing a lot about psychology. He's very understanding, so if you can't turn in an assignment on time he gets it, which is extremely helpful. He is the best teacher hands down! Take his course!

He gives really nice lectures, whatever question you have about the lecture he answers them very nicely. I was never nervous in this class at all, he made his class feel very comfortable with being able to ask questions whenever we wanted too. He always talked about his experiences outside of class, he was always comfortable with his classmates.

Class consists of lecture that can assist with tests if good notes are taken. A lot of group work and class presentations. Work load is heavy but not terrible if it is kept up with. Teacher has a positive attitude and is understanding when extra time is needed!

Although this class says it does not have a zoom meeting, it did but it was not mandatory as long as you completed the work from it . Due dates were not always easy to find sometimes. Dr Mack always tells you "good job, keep up the good work" when you do well on an assignment. Overall it was a decent class.

Good choice for a professor, he is accessible and responded to every email I sent. He makes a strong effort to have students to interact with each other in class, there are frequently group assignments in class. He is also very understanding when it comes to life obligations outside of class, and genuinely seems to care about each students success.

Professor Mack is the most helpful and caring professor I have experienced at COD. He is always available and willing to help when assignments may be unclear or challenging. His main priority is our success and it is evident. He replies in a very timely manner and always allows students to correct their assignments to improve. I recommend him.

Professor Mack is a wonderful professor to have for Psych-2280 he goes through everything assignment that he assigns to complete. Also, whenever you have a issue with something you always is available to work with you on them. If you want a professor who gives you a lot of wonderful feedback then he is your guy.

This Professor really just cares about his students and how they are doing in his course. He is helpful and understanding. Any time I was confused in this course, he fixed the problem as soon as possible. Not a hard grader and enjoyed the class.

Going into college for the first semester was challenging but Dr. Mack made it a lot easier for my PYSCH1100 class because of how easily accessible everything was from home and the great class discussions/lectures, I enjoyed having him as a teacher.

I recommend his professor as he made the material easy to understand with class discussions and his explanations. There was a decent amount of work, but he was flexible with time. There was several group projects which made the material easier to understand. I highly recommend this professor and would take this course again!��

Doctor Mack 's psychology course is one of the most intuitive that I have ever taken. He offered mostly a mixture of carefully put together lectures and group projects that were inspired by creativity. Dr. Mack does a great job at keeping the class engaged and he's very caring. Almost always accessible outside of class and always willing to help.

This class of all the ones I took this semester was very entertaining, not only because of the topics we talked about, but also because of how the students relate to the teacher, the teacher helped me a lot, and is very understanding with homework and me. I help him understand it better since my English is not the best, but since he the bilingual.

He's a great prof. He wants students to pass the class, he wants to see us succeed. So it makes it easier on students to reach out.

The class was very enjoyable, it has been one of my class that Ive looked forward to participating in. If you stay on task and on time you shouldnt have a problem. My only gripe is that the homework is very presentation heavy and it can complicate other tasks at hand such as the playbook at the end of the semester. Over fun class and great time.

In all a great class to take. I was scared to take this class since I'm bad with Math but Dr Mack made sure to explain everything in detail. If someone didn't get the problem, he would give different examples to help the person understand. He makes sure you are 100% good with the topic before moving on to anything else.

Entering PSYCH 2280 and being semi-new to statistics, I was nervous. Dr. Mack's lectures were very clear and the homework assignments incredibly helpful. Despite being online, Dr. Mack facilitated camaraderie between students in break-out sessions. He was also accessible before and after class. I have learned a lot and hope to take him again!

This is my first time taking psychology w/ statistics and well its not an easy class but Dr. Mack made it easier to understand. He will stay after class if you have any questions. He is SUPER lenient and if you need more time to turn in an assignment just email him and he will grant you an extension. Overall I really enjoyed the class!

Statistics is not easy but Dr. Mack helps you through it to make sure you succeed. There is a lot of homework but it really does end up helping you out a lot. He is clear with what he wants and if you end up falling behind, he gives extensions so you can catch up. Great professor, and great class!

Very nice professor, helps make sure everyone understands material

I took the net class but the professor was open to hold lessons that were not mandatory but that helped understand the material and how to put it into practice. The class was not easy but the professor was lenient on due dates and met students half way.

The material is hard and there is a lot of information but Dr. Mack is super helpful and flexible on due dates. Class isn't mandatory but I think it's a must in case any questions arise since the material is so dense. There are pre/post test for each chapter, plus 1/2 worksheets, and 3 exams. He replies quick to emails and text. Great professor!

Dr. Mack is an enthusiastic teacher who cares about his students. His grading is fair, will help you improve and allows you to retry the assignment. Dr. Mack's course is difficult due to the type of material and amount of assignments, but completing them can be very rewarding when it comes to test time.

Awesome professor! The class is fast paced (12 weeks class) and sometimes the assignments are time consuming but he makes it very manageable. If you are falling behind he will give you an extension but make sure to email him beforehand. He is very accessible and will out of his way to help you. Will recommend him 100%!

One of the most inspirational teachers I have ever encountered at COD. He tells of personal stories that help understand the different dynamics&life situations involving psychology. He allows students the opportunity to ask questions and digest the information taught in class. Would recommend to any student& would LOVE taking another class of his.

You'll need to do a lot of presentations but otherwise the work load is pretty easy, I'm taking two 8 week classes right now and he gives significantly less work than those classes or any of my other classes. He's pretty funny, and cares about what's going on in your life and can be lenient as long as you tell him what's going on.

Professor Mack is great! you will have to do a presentation just about every week, but they aren't anything big. there is not much homework & everything isn't due until the end of the semester. he is very funny and is very leniant when it comes to turning in your homework. as long as you participate in the class you will do great.

The class was overall enjoyable with all the class discussions. All the group projects were more enjoyable to complete with classmates and you learned more out of them rather just doing independent worksheets. Dr.Mack takes time to listen everyones stories and experiences when someone wanted to share.

10/10 recommend Dr.Mack as your physiology professor ! Always looked forward to this class and made me actually want to learn psychology.

Professor Jason Mack is the most down-to-earth professor. All assignments are online through a textbook. He is very understanding if you email him about what you have going on if you are absent from class or miss an assignment due date. I would take this professor again and recommend him to anyone who is planning on taking Psych 2230.

Amazing Professor. I was honestly amazed by the number of resources he made available to us. Besides WebAssign and SPSS (which are required), we had flashcards, video lectures, as well as powerpoints and articles that went over the chapters in the book. The assignments, presentations, and tests are not hard at all. He cares a lot about his students and is very respectful and cultured

The majority of the work is group work. There are several individual, larger projects to do. Professor Mack is flexible with turning in assignments. The main source of information are slideshows, there is some reading that needs to be done each week but the slideshows are pretty informative.

The assignments are not hard but some can be pretty time consuming. If you're juggling a lot in life, it can be a hard to keep up. Great class overall though.

I would highly recommend this professor, he made the class easy to understand and went through coursework that was challenging to us. He went the extra mile to ensure we felt comfortable with the material. If I needed another math class credit I would definitely take Dr. Mack's classes again.

I took a Hybrid version of this class. The homework is hard, but he tries to help you understand by doing the worksheets with you. He is a very caring professor, he goes above and beyond for his students. He explains the coursework amazing, and does whatever he can to help you. He is very understanding of life circumstances.

When I went to take this class I was nervous because I hadn't taken a math in some time. But on the first day of the class I knew I was going to be ok. Dr.Mack from start to finish was always making sure that everybody was getting all the information. He catered to the needs of the class if we ever got stuck. Was by far the best professor I had.

I enjoyed my time in this class, I was in a hybrid format. Dr. Mack never cancelled or was late to a single class, always on time and professional. He is very open to questions, comments, and has many good resources posted on blackboard. I appreciated how straightforward he was. I really enjoyed Professor Mack's Psych course! He presented a lot of great material that covered the basics of Psychology, and he created an environment that encouraged class discussion.
