Hot teacher..great class....you have to go or you'll fail..interesting topics..easy to understand

He's a very smart man, he also expects a lot out of his students when it comes to asking the students questions on lectures. YOU HAVE TO BE IN CLASS TO PASS. You also have to pay attention. I liked the class, i'd recommend it to someone who likes the study of the mind.

He is an awesome teacher!!! i would highly recommend his class, though attendance is very important, but after you get into the class you won't even want to miss class!! He is very good looking too ;P

His tests are confusing, but he is very helpful if you ask a question. Get ready to take notes, and do not miss a day or you will be lost. There are also lots of chances for extra credit.

He makes the class more personable to a level you'll understand, he's very anal however. This means be on time and No CELL PHONES!! He tends to be a little condescending at times when you ask questions but he does a good job of clarifying. You have to attend class everytime in order to get a passing grade and watch out fr his test he sometimes put trick questions in there which makes you sometimes feel like he is purposelly messing with you.

He's a very fun teacher, I love his sarcastic sense of humor!I think people who are really interested on learning psychology should definately take his class, he's very realistic on his tests and would sometimes give u real cases, but he is very specific and gives examples one can relate to!I highly recommend his class if U really want to learn :)

Professor Moses is a good professor. He is accurate about his approach and clear about his priorities and assignments. It seems to be best to say not to take his class, especially online. Took him online and thought it was going to be an easy A, I was wrong. Be prepared to work hard and be prepared with your writing skills. He is really demanding but I did learn a lot. If you do all your assignments, you will do good in class

Great Professor, really enjoyed the class. He was a bit strict, felt like i was in HS but he is extremely entertaining, and not bad to look at either. Just read the chapters, and do the extra credit, your guaranteed to pass.

Good Teacher but prepare to work if you are taking him online. Grammar is important to him so be prepared to used the writing lab for help or proofread work many times before you submit it. You will get a call if you don't proof read. If you do all his assignments and read the book then you will be ok. It's not an easy A but u can get it like I did

You just have to pay attention and take notes to compare to the book. If you have a partner it makes the notes easier and quicker. He is picky about the extra credit papers but that's what the writing center is for. I enjoyed his class.

His grade is a reflection of your effort. If you dedicate yourself to the class, there is no reason why you should drop, or get anything lower than a B. If you are weak minded or lack commitment in your educational aspirations, then don’t take this class. You would be better off in Educ 1300 or some remedial class to suit your brain.

Class is fun and exciting. It's a hard class if you don't read. If you do take his class read all the material. Take notes and study study. It's an easy class and lots of work. Only confusing thing was how he grades.

He gives many opportunities for extra credit, so take advantage. LOTS of book use, be ready to take a quiz at beginning of every class. He is also extremely good looking, great eye candy for straight women, or gay men.

Dr. Moses is an excellent instructor and he is very knowledgeable about the material. His class is all lecture and you will be using the book quite a bit. If you apply yourself you will do well in the class. If you are looking for an easy A you shouldn't take this class.

Be prepared to work for your grade. Professor Moses demands a lot and expects you to know the material. Be very familiar with English grammar. He scrutinizes that heavily as part of your assignments. He is very arrogant and patronizing.

I am currently in his class. I love his class. He is funny and extremely good looking. He makes what you're learning about easy to understand. I love the way he does extra credit as well! His class isn't hard as long as you do the work, take notes, and read the book. Why be in college if you're not going to do those things anyway?

I took Dr. Moses' class in 2011, prior to enrolling, then subsequently being accepted into nursing school in a university. He prepared me, unbeknownst to me, at the time, for nursing school. My grammar and sentence structure improved enormously. I couldn't stand him during the time I was enrolled in his class, but I learned a lot! (Human Growth)

Dr. Moses is a tough teacher, but this is college so working for your grade should be expected. Extra credit helps a lot so do not skip out on it. Attendance is mandatory if you want to pass the class, as he will be lecturing important info for the test. His lectures are interesting and funny, he's also not bad to look at for an entire 50 minutes

If u're not a good writer, dont take him! He focuses a lot on grammar and is picky when he grades. Gives xtra credit, can take the test twice(b4 unit deadline), able to re-submit assignments for more points after he grades(b4 unit deadline), answers to Questions Assign. (choose 510) have to be lengthy (3 parag. or more). Tests not too bad, study!

Get ready to work. He is a wonderful Professor. He really gets you engaged in his lectures and he gives very descriptive examples to help remember them. He gives a lot of extra credit, but you do have to work for it. Attendance is mandatory but that is two extra points at the end of the semester. I enjoyed his class and I would recommend him.

He doesn't give homework but gives extra credit. DO IT! It really helps towards your test & wlearning the material. His lectures are really interesting and help you understand the material. As long as a person really tries there is no reason not to do well in the class. He gives 4 tests during semester and no final.

Dr. Moses, is a great professor his lectures are interesting and hilarious. He may have strict rules on cellphones and paying attention but I wish more Professors at Epcc did that. His very present and always has time to meet with students during office hours. Would recommend his class to anyone who wants to learn Psychology.

You could say I hated this class in the beginning. Things changed for me in this class. I learned through the teach and learns that they helped me pass the class and I began to understanding Dr. Moses teaching methodologies. I would highly recommend this class to everyone! I do not regret taking this class. I am thankful to him for all I learned.

DO NOT take this instructor's online courses. The only reason I submitted a review on here is to save somebody from the stress and headaches caused by his online courses. His expectations from student work is ridiculous! His grading rubric is pages and pages long, and he is quick to give NEGATIVE grades for grammar or punctuation mistakes.

Great professor. You earn what you work for. There is plenty of extra credit that is given in order to pass. Best advice is take online quizzes and flashcards before exams and do most of the extra credit. He is great at explaining things and giving examples. He makes lecture interesting and fun. I actually really enjoyed Moses' class. He used a lot of examples from his life and made it very interesting. If you don't pay attention then you won't pass. You also have to read the book. He gives so much extra credit its ridiculous. His 500 word essays that you have the option to turn in, are really easy to do as long as you follow rubric.

Awesome teacher if you follow along with him. It's very easy if you keep up with the material and study for the exams. The textbook quizzes at the end of each chapter and the online quizzes help a lot! Would love to have him as a professor again.

He is a great teacher but you have to work for your grade. He makes the topics interesting, and if you are willing to put in a little bit of extra work by writing papers you can get up to 23 points towards your next exam! (grades can go above 100)

I have taken this professors online class and I found him to be very clear with what he expects the student to do. I loved this class because of the way he gives opportunities for extra credit and the homework assignments really prepares the student for exams. I would definitely take this professor again if I could!

Of all the Psycology classes I've taken this class was my favorite! There is a fair amount of work but all of it is course related and answers are easily found in the text!

Professor Moses is a really great instructor. It is so easy to follow along with him and it is pretty easy to get an A in the class. I've enjoyed this class. It's not easy, there is a lot of reading involved and Jason Moses expects good writing for his study guide assignment, but he is a fair grader & tells you his expectations up front. The assignments help you to learn the material and his extra credit assignments help a lot when it comes to maintaining a good grade.

Very sarcastic instuctor with challenging but doable assignments and test.

A great instructor. You need to put in the work (at least be able to present your statement). You say something stupid or lacking actual thought, he will destroy you. He offers so much extra credit that you could get a D on all exams and STILL pass. I didn't do any of the extra credit, just focused on the exams. He lets you know what he wants.

Honestly, he is a great professor and I have learned so much from his class. If you dislike him it's likely because you are impatient and do not like to be challenged to your limit. I believe he is what a teacher should be; he challenges you to do better and if you fail he gives you multiple opportunities to make up for it. He is caring and funny.

Some may think he's critical, but in actuality, he's just wanting you to produce your best work. The assignments and expectations are clearly laid out for you, and you're given ample opportunity to succeed. The content is interesting and peer discussions bring an interesting perspective to the class.

I wish that I could pick more tags to describe Mr. Moses. He made us earn our grades, but if the work is done, the chances of passing are high. He gave great feedback and responded to any issues in a very timely manner. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a psychology class online.

I have just completed this course Spring 2018 and I was able to knock off the last 5 weeks of class while earning an A+ ! He gives quite a few opportunities to earn extra points and the assignments are not hard at all. Taking an online course requires more dedication and discipline as a student so just do the work and enjoy what you learn!

He gives plenty of opportunities to earn extra credit points, which is really nice. His requirements may be daunting. If they aren't clear, you have the opportunity to ask him to clarify throughout the semester. It's a lot of hard work and dedication, since this is an online course, but I have learned so much. Funny lectures, knows how to explain the subject. Easy course if you do what youre supposed to and pay attention.

Easiest A ever!! Just do all of the assignments, complete the Study Guide Assignments, VISIT THE WRITING CENTER AS INSTRUCTED!!, ask questions, use your time wisely, I took him online I finished the class early all because I used my time wisely! School is too easy when you prioritize.

I took his online class during the summer. He has a meeting that is optional to attend, which he goes over the syllabus and what the online consist of. His online class consist of a point system (which is pretty neat). He gives opportunities to earn points which he adds it to the exams and helps out your overall grade. Follow the instructions A.

He makes his lectures very entertaining. you can tell he loves his job. He only grades 4 or 5 exams, but he gives out a a lot of extra credit opportunities that can go toward the exams. as long as you pay attention to his lectures you will pass with an A.

Dr. Moses give what looks like a lot of work. However, the work is study guides and extra credit. He gives about 15-25 pts of extra credit per unit, you could score a 70% on the exam but still end with an 90% for that test. You do the work, you just studied for the exam. He is a serious grader BUT generous w/ opportunities to earn extra credit

One of the best professors Ive ever had! Dr. Moses not only make the lectures easy to understand but he also makes the topics relatable with little stories about his personal experiences. You can tell he really enjoys his job. His note taking and extra credit ways are also extremely helpful with the topics in the course. High recommend Dr. Moses!!

Professor Moses is a wonderfully challenging instructor. If you are looking for an easy A, this is not the professor for you. If you are looking to truly learn the material (and if you're a Psych major, YOU SHOULD) then he's a perfect match. His syllabus and grading is easy to understand if you're at college level intelligence. 100% recommend him.

Read the syllabus carefully and follow the instructions correctly and you'll be good. You definitely need to read the book in order to do well.

If you actually attend class regularly and complete the homework (which is optional) you will pass easily.

If you're taking an online class go to the syllabus class the prof offers at the beginning of the semester! The syllabus is long, and can seem intimidating, but he's just very specific in his expectations. Follow directions and you will pass easily! You definitely need the book.

I've taken Dr. Moses for both Intro of psy and abnormal psy. He's is a great professor, He explains his lecture in his own words through his own personal experiences instead of repeating the textbook. He gives you several chances to earn points that goes towards your exam score. I highly recommend earning as many points you can towards your exams.

i took him for summer and oh my god it was a nightmare, at first anyways. His grading policy can be a little confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it you will be okay. All that matters in his class are the exams, which are quite difficult but once you study all the material, you could get a B or an A

Look, everyone needs to understand that he's a college level professor and he demands that you read and submit college level work. Take advantage of the extra credit and STUDY! if you don't understand something ask him or fellow students. Look at the work daily and you'll be fine. Humor is a bit dry though. Work is tedious, but easy if you know how to read and write. Possible to pass with higher than 100. Provides a lot of extra credit in papers, exams, and quizzes. Lecture allows for participation, so he expects it. NEED THE BOOK, which he will sign off for a grade, ebooks incl. Humor is 8/10, very sarcastic, sometimes dark. Will take again.

He demands college level written assignments but he provides clear instructions and sometimes the chance to make corrections. He also provides excellent feedback so you will learn a lot! There are MANY extra credit opportunities, and the tests are worth 80% of the grade so you will have to read if you want to pass. Very knowledgeable instructor.

Dr. Moses is the best psychology teacher. At the beginning of the year he sets clear expectations and as long as you participate and are keeping up with the readings there is no reason why you will not earn an A. He is knowledgeable and explains concepts with examples. He offers several offer credit opportunities, you won't regret taking his class.

Great professor a little tough though. You are allowed to use grammarly for the main assignment which is a lot of help. The professor gives many extra credit opportunity's. I took the class online it was a lot of work and studying but as long as you try, complete all the readings, and do all of the extra credit you should pass with an A!

I have taken two classes with Professor Moses for psychology and both classes where amazing. I love his teaching style. As long as you complete all assignments and actually pay attention, you will be fine. His class challenges you and I would definitely say he is the best psychology teacher I have ever had. I wish he had more classes I can take.

Dr. Moses runs a tight ship but he is unbelievably fair. If you do the work, you'll get an A, but you'll also learn a ton of interesting things. He's probably the best professor I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. I will say to avoid the SDFA, because you'll learn your classmates probably suck.

Really good class. I dont know why people say its difficult when it really isnt if youre on top of your assignments. The easiest way to get credit is through discussions and for the exams just make sure you do the review. Really easy going would definitely recommend this professor for any class.

Moses was an awesome professor who constantly communicated and explained what needed to be done and how you performed. Although the class is a bit confusing at the beginning, you quickly get the hang of it. I loved the structure of the class because it was the same for every unit, no surprises at any time, and lots of opportunity for extra credit.

This class has a different grading system, it helps you earn many extra credit points, and also revisions for a better grade. This professor does a great job at being clear and to the point, if you don't do your part you will fail simple as that, if you check in daily on the class you will pass. You'll have to use audio/visual tests, no cheating.

I took his online class. His instructions were clear and if you follow them, you'll pass. He gives the students lots of opportunities to earn extra credit. He assigns you readings and he also provided personal notes to go along with each chapter. He breaks it down so it's easy to understand. If you stay on top of the readings, you will get an A.

Extremely clear on whats expected of the student from the beginning no surprises. Lots of extra credit. All negative comments here really, are from people that expected a good grade handed over plain lazy. Youre in COLLEGE now not high school, YOU have to work for your grade. Great professor, always available, would definitely take again.

The assignments are VERY DIFFICULT (do not procrastinate) but it really helped to understand the key points for the exam. The reading and work IS A MUST to pass. Respondus lockdown is required. There's no cheating he has you wear mirrored glasses during exams to see the screen. Be prepared to EARN YOUR GRADE because its tough to pass w/ an A+.

He is AMAZING. People who say you cant earn an A or that the class is too hard are lazy. He gives you four discussions to do, all you need are four sentences and you'll get credit. He then gives you one mandatory assignment a unit (only 5 units). You can do it early and he will give you feedback to turn in again for full credit. HE HELPS YOU.

Amazing teacher, really straightforward. No deadlines just do as much work (notes, assignments, learn-teach, etc.) as you'd like prior to your exam to gain extra points towards it. If you participate you'll do good in class. Definitely my favorite class so far; I encourage people to take him.

He offers a ton of extra credit and it literally sets you up for an A on the test AND the class. Excellent lecturer Note taking is ++ Must read textbook to pass any exams, quizzes, or lecture questions. Grades fairly, has requirements for extra credit that are simple. Very interesting and funny. Will take again, if possible, for future classes.

Profesor Moses is tough. I suggest you perfect your writing skills, because that will not go unnoticed. His grading system takes a learning curve but doable. I did learn a lot and his lectures were very interesting. This is one of those classes where you can't get by passively. I don't recommend non psych majors take him.

I have experience with Dr. Moses in traditional and online classes. His face to face is way easier, in my opinion, than his online class. He has clear grading rubrics for his assignments to explain well enough what he expects. If you can read well and write well this class is engaging and fun, he gives points with various music trivia! DO NOT LISTEN to any other student who has rated this prof badly! They probs want to retaliate n didn't take their school class seriously. He was clear as to how he wanted work to be turned in (nt hard) he talkd about only what was going to be on the test n all we had to do was take notes as he took notes, then look and write the book def aftrwrds!

I recommend this professor if you want to learn through entertaining storytelling and note taking. Pay attention, write notes, study. Topics were fairly easy to understand and interesting. Ask questions if needed. Do not slack off.
