Had JK for two classes; ENG COMP I, and Cultures & Values. His expectation of students was moderately demanding. JK yields a mastery in content and I found him most inspiring.

I liked him! I didnt do any of his homework because i was busy but he didnt care all he was conserned about was the final exit exam! Which i passed on my own! I took Cultures & Values with Prof. Khan. I now can say this was one of the most influential courses I ever took. My writing skills improved significantly. My views on world politics and culture changed a lot after this class. Challenging and extremely interesting course. The only professor who teaches on the level of a 4 year college in HCCC.

Professor Khan is one of the few professors I've had that shows actual interest in what his students think. His essays range from difficult in the beginning but as you get to know him and how he operates his class the essays become easier. Learn to think out of the box.

I just love love love this man. He's so in depth with his discussions and his need to have point of views countered or supported by philosophers is an awesome subconscious way to ebb in our minds a heightened intellectual awareness. I left his class not only more knowledge but also more open to learning about Aristotle, Socrates, and others.

If you're looking for a challenge, this class is the one for you. Grade-wise, you get back what you put in. He puts a lot of weight on class participation (there's a lot of in-class discussion on a wide range of topics) so speak up! He encourages free thought. This was easily my favorite class.

Prof. Khan is one of the best professors I ever had and probably will ever have coming to an end of my duration at HCCC. He highly relies on class participation but makes it very relatabe to students which makes it almost impossible to fail. In class debates and speakers corner which just some of my fav memories in that class. Take this class.

Professor Khan was a great professor. Khan is literally the most fantastical. Had him for two honors classes ENG-102 and Cultures and Values. Approaches everything with an open mind- workload is large but really interesting and fun. Many papers to take home but barely any quizzes or tests during class. It''s all in-depth discussion and films during actual class time.

He is an awesome profesor! He demands so much from you, but you actually do walk out with a different perspective on everything. He does require a lot of reading and writing, but the thing that matters most is class participation. He is not judgemental to anyone's idea, regardless of how insane they may be. He is as fair as he is stern.

He teaches at a university standard. It's not an easy class, but college itself is a challenging experience. Be ready to discuss and write essay. If you can pass a class with him, the rest of the community college experience will be a breeze.

This professor also teaches at NJCU and he is by far the best professor I've ever had. He is so down to earth and very fair. He teaches not by the way the university wants him to teach, but in his own way. (about life skills and philosophy) He's not like other professors, he actually cares about you. Deff recommend

One of my fave teachers, I've taken as much as I can. Participation and reading is a must, don't be shy, he wants to hear what you have to say. Write academically and CITE YOUR SOURCES. Proofread even though he won't take points off for a small mistake. His classes are intense (content and work wise) but worth it. Don't phone it in.

I took him for speech. All you have to do to pass with an A is be outspoken. As long as you are one of the most opinionated students in the class, and you can speak in front of the class, you will get a good grade. Pick topics that are easy for you to ramble about without saying "umm" or things like that.

I took professor Khan for Eng073, Speech and ENG101, he is an amazing professor. He is willing to go the extra mile in order to help you. He is also very passionate in what he does, Just be prepared to write some essays and read (not much) but he expects open discussions about the readings. That makes the class fun and interesting.

As far at Professor Khan himself, hes the first person Ive met that idenitfies with a religion and yet has a secular way of thinking. This is one of the best professors that Ive encountered by far. He is amazing and teaches content in a way that engages you. His classes are very interactive and can sometimes turn into a debate. Although we use textbooks he encourages us to look elsewhere for knowledge as well.
