very helpful and clear, good teacher to take for psych
he a nice teacher, his lecture note are very useful when you study for exam, he also told you what to study for test too
Very good teacher. he gives you study guides and thats whats on the test! wonderful teacher!
Best professor that I have ever had. Cares about his students and wants them to learn. Always very easy to get a hold of. Real down to earth guy with tons of personal knowledge. Would strongly recommend!
very good professor! tells you everything to expect on the test and really wants his students to succeed! easy to get ahold of for help and posts all the notes online incase you miss a day
Incredible professor! Best class I ever took. Very knowlegble. Makes lectures very interesting and engages students with examples and discussions. Very funny personality(can be clumsy -VERY FUNNY). Extremely helpful on studying for tests. easy to get a hold of and always responds to emails quickly.
Very friendly and understanding of a students life. Makes class interesting, and students engaged. Highly reccommended!
Highly Recommend! Great Instructor!
Great teacher. Knows his stuff and takes time to help out students.
He was the best teacher that i have had at normandale. he is a very intelligent guy who went and tought and HARVARD UNIVERSITY!!! but he dicided to teacher at a smaller school instead. clumsy funny, gets the students involved in the examples and is there to help you out when you need it.
He is the best professor i have had in my entire life and i don't think there is going to be any better professor than he is. Handsome inside out, knows his work, tries to understand his students and helps them individually, very available to help his students, and above all very down to earth. I wish all teachers could learn something from him. Th
He is an amazing teacher. It surprised me how willing he is to help you if you have any questions. Also he knows everyones name by about the 2 week, which is amazing. You honestly learn alot in his class. It isn't easy but it is fun. make sure you prepare yourself for his exams because the can be hard if you don't know your stuff.
he is one of my favorite teachers now! he is soo nice and very helpful. the class wasn't overall very hard. he gives great lectures and the study guide tells u exactly what is on the test and he doesn't take attendance. i actually enjoyed going to this class. he is wonderful!
Dr. Jay is one of the best professors I have had. His discussions are energetic and interesting. He really cares about and respects his students and their opinions. He is extremely available to help answer questions outside of class. His tests are challenging, don't expect to get an easy A just because he's a nice guy.
Jay is a very great teacher. He does not require you to be in class, but you will really miss out if you're not there. He knows every student by name, and you can participate in class only if you wish. You will have to study for the tests, but you learn so much. He makes you want to learn about the subject. I suggest you to take him for Psychology.
he is the best teacher i have ever had. he is very helpful if you have pustions, also he takes the time to talk with his students if they are having personal problems and help them
Jay is one of the best teacher I have ever had! I still keep in contact with him because I am majoring in psychology and he actually made time to meet with me to talk about careers I could pursue with a degree in psychology. He is so helpful and so nice. Fun class too! Definately try to get him if you need a psych class!
The most amazing professor. I love his lectures. His tests can be a bit difficult, so make sure that you actually read/know the material. Highly suggest his classes!
Everything soaks in during lectures and the material seems easy to learn. However his tests are designed to make you think outside of the box and apply information which is rather difficult.
Jay Anderson is a very good teacher. He knows his stuff. He is a very helpful teacher who explains the material very well. Also we are given very discriptive notes. Tests are sort of difficult but if you study you will have no problem.
Jay is amazing, such a good person, a kind soul, funny too. Maintains a balance of teaching material and keeping course interesting. Teaches in a way that makes things applicable to real life. Teaching method is comprehendable to all. Has that ability to make you want to go to class and learn. Great professor, strongly recommended!
Jay Anderson was extremely polite and helpful. All of his class notes were posted online so if you missed- you would not fall behind. He tied in his lectures with the book, but if you studied your notes, you never had to read. HE USES THE BEST EXAMPLES TO UNDERSTAND A SUBJECT. I learned a lot and it was an easy course.
I would recommend him for any psychology course. He provides slides for each chapter and study guides for exams, very helpful. He is also quick at emailing back. He also gives you an outline of what he wants on your lifespan paper, which helped a lot because it was a pretty tough paper. Got an A on it :)
Top prof at Normandale, strongly recommend. You will walk away from the course with more than you had going into it. Learning is fun for everyone....with jay anderson...teaching style is universal to all learning. True definition of what a professor should be. Independent of his teaching, just a great overall human being!
Professor Anderson is absolutley awesome. Take him! He is so helpful it is unreal! I had no interst in taking this psychology class but i passed it with an A. He is phenomenal!
Great teacher - i decided i liked him so much i'm taking another class from him this fall semester - his classes take a bit of reading to get a good grade, but he's very clear on the material. i suggest taking a class from him if you get a chance
professor anderson rocks
Dr. Jay is a great teacher, he really cares about his students success!
He was great. He's nice and really cares about your college experience. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
He is very helpful and keeps in touch with his students very well. I am registered to take two classes with him next semester because I really like the way he does more one-on-one activities with his class. He is very open and takes a interest in his students. It is, also very obvious he love teaching and the subject he teaches.
Great teacher, hard marker. If you come to class and get help though you'll be fine. His teaching style is very entertaining, clear and concise. I think he's the best pyschology teacher at normandale....well atleast compared to everyone else
had a nice time taking adulthood aging and now am taking general psyc. great way of teaching
Great teacher! Very kind and very helpful! Love him!
BETS TEACHER EVER! Not super easy but go to class and listen and you will do fine. Nicest teacher i have ever had and very helpful. ALso, knows what he is talking about. EVERYONE SHOULD TEACH LIKE HIM!! TAKE HIM HE IS THE BEST!!
Jay was awesome. Gave great examples during lecture, gives you a study guide for tests he is on time and truly cares about his students. The world needs more proffs like him. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!
Dr. Anderson was great. He is super helpful. I took general psych with him last semester and am' taking Adulthood and aging with him this semester. If you ever need help, just go to his office hours and he will be there. I didn't need the textbook at all in his class.......not only that but it didn't help me. Just follow his notes, n come to class!
Awesome, inspiring, funny, wonderful, nice, and intelligent professor. he knows his stuff and he truly makes it a joy coming to class. i absolutely loved his class!!!
One of the best professors I've had. Super enthusiastic about the subject, clearly loves what he does. Helpful, really cares about his students. I plan to take Lifespan with him too. Great teacher!
Jay was a great teacher. Comes highly recommended and boy was that the truth.
Jay is an awsome person and teacher. His teaching style is one that everyone who aspires to be a teacher should adopt. He keeps class very interesting and really tests your knowledge during the tests. He's great at giving constructive criticism and positive reinforcement. I've taken a few classes with him...all you need to do is take notes!
He is a very nice teacher. Understanding his note and lisentning to his lecture, you will be fine.
Great teacher! he is very smart, organized, and interesting. I enjoyed comeing to his class. I highly recommed him.
My most highly recommended Normandale prof. Engaging teaching style, engaging person, loved his class. Study the powerpoints and take some notes - I didn't use the textbook once. The tests are 1/2 multiple choice 1/2 essay. Case study is the major project, it's not too hard and is interesting. Easy A in the class. Jay is awesome. And hot.
This was one of my favorite classes. He is very funny and really wants his students to understand the material. Good person and a great teacher!
Great teacher. His examples in class are very helpful.Ask questions if you don't understand anything, he makes sure that you will understand it.Do the assignments because they help with remembering materials.I recommend him to everyone.
I've taken general, adulthood-aging and now lifespan with Dr. Anderson. Although his tests are a little difficult, he makes the class fun and enlightening! As long as you take good notes and very carefully follow his test outlines you will get an A! Make sure to visit him if you don't understand a detail on his test outline!!
I took General, Abnormal and Lifespan Psych with his and he was the best teacher I have ever had. He was very understanding with personal interference and was very easy to talk to. Unfortunately because of this he almost always had someone he was talking to in his office. He is very amiable and I highly recommend his classes.
He is a good teacher, but...He grades an extra credit assignments as regular,if he doesn't like it, you will get just a half of points. I am an A student, but I got C for his class.
Best teacher I have ever had! He actually cares about his students and is just amazing! His tests are very difficult... but just study and you will do fine! Very approachable with questions... cares about his students as people. Truly an amazing guy. Go to class... you will learn so much! AWESOME GUY!!!
Great professor! very easy to understand, shares great stories. Has a lot of experience is teaching and psychology. I would recommend this teacher to everyone!
Great professor. You can't just memorize facts and expect to get an A. Test are combo of multiple choice and essay. Essays require you to think critically: compare, analyze, give examples. Great teacher. Very organized. Very helpful. Interesting.
Dr. Anderson, is such a nice person! He explains things really well, and is always at this office hours. His exams can be difficult, if aren't able to learn concepts very well. He can help you with that though! I found, as long as I tried and got the help I needed, the class was easy!
Wonderful teacher. He used to teach at Harvard so you know you will get a quality presentation of the material but the tests are hard. You will need to really know and understand the concepts to do those essay questions. Material is useful for Life. Really cares and will help you if you ask.
He didn't teach at harvard. It was Boston college. Hes not some kind of Psychology god, but he covered the material well in my gen. psych class. Anyway, the class is really easy if you show up & not too boring. He does a good job of mixing up teaching styles.
If you are taking a Psych night class, I DEFINITELY recommend taking him. Lots of breaks and group work to keep you interested after a long day. Very nice. Knows what he's talking about, and mixes up teaching styles well. Testwise, it's pretty much half and half multiple choice and essay, so you actually have to think some Recommend him definitely.
Awesome teacher. Very nice guy, the best I have had so far. He really cares about his students and I am not the only one who agrees because I have not found a bad comment on him!
Jay makes class interesting by managing to spice up even some of the duller material. He is extremely helpful and concerned with the success of his students. However, contrary to what another commenter said, his classes are not easy A's. His tests are challenging and require many hours of studying. Overall, though, I would highly recommend him.
I like his class very much, tests can be hard but he is a good grader
Jay does very well at prepping students for his tests. Although attendance is not mandatory, if you miss too much you may not do well because his lectures are what is on the test. Some of the material he covers is not in textbook and he gives out very good study guides. Not an easy A, but if you show up, listen and do all your work you will pass.
It's misleading to suggest Jay gives an easy A. You'll work your butt off for it, but will consider it well worth the effort. Always available, v.funny, intensely likable guy. Psych is not my major but he's the kind of teacher who is so passionate about what he does that you imagine yourself doing it too. I recommend him completely.
Who said Anderson's life span is easy? not at all!!! tests are hard, multipal chioce part specially, study case is a big deal in this class 125 points, again very challanging. but.....Anderson is soooooooo nice, best teacher I ever had, and I had many teachers. I highly recommend him!
Hard but interesting
Jay is wonderful, as a person and a teacher. His exams are wicked hard, but they are strategically designed to push you. He genuinely cares about your success in his class and is always available during his office hours and even manages to make time for you outside of his office hours, when he can. HIGHLY recommended!!!!!
I took this class during summer. It was a great. Jay is a very nice person and know how to make the class fun. I really enjoyed the class.Study hard for the tests, because they are very challenging!!!
You'll never have another teacher like him. East coast quality lectures with enthusiasm for the material. Not easy to make the grade but the learning experience is well worth it!!
Jay is a wonderful teacher! I enjoyed attending every class and actually learned a lot. He uses a variety of teaching styles and you actually end up taking a lot away from the class. Jay is always interested in your success inside & outside of school, he is always available and always nice. I have yet to know anyone who thinks he's less then great!
Jay is a tough professor but he is also one of the best I have ever had. He pushes you to your limits and helps you grow so much! and at the end of the course you will truly be proud of how much you have learned and grown!
His grading system is the most unfair I have seen. We didn't use the book. If you take the class somewhere else you'll do better and learn more.
I found his tests to be challenging. they are composed of multiple choice and essay questions. jay was kind and caring. I did enjoy his class even though i was not too interested in the material
Jay's teaching is the wave of the future. He connects with most all students and pushes them to try harder and reach their potential. It's people like him that make the world a better place.
Amazing prof.I loved his class and was compleatly interested the entire time. His tests are tough but in the end you will thank him for it because of how much you learn about lifespan in his class. I have gained so much valuable information in his class.
Amazing teacher!, will help you every step of the way, attend class and pay attention, take good notes and you'll get by!, big projects, so gives you a clear definition of what he wants, one of my favorite professors! :)
Nice teacher, but the material is so hard.He makes the subject so hard to understand. I wan not a big fan of the subject, and he made it even harder for me. Tests are impossible no matter how much you study. Papers are important because thats the only thing that would help you for sure in the long run. I would not recommend him at all.
Jay is amazing. End of story. If you are interested in psychology, I suggest taking as many courses as you can with him. Even if you aren't interested in psychology, he will make you interested in psychology. There aren't enough kind words to describe Jay.
Jay is an amazing professor. Always kept my attention, very interesting person who is genuinely concerned about his students. His lectures tend to be a little tangential, but I found his asides to actually be helpful in applying the material to real life. Great professor if you're willing to study hard for his exams
Jay is a pretty awesome teacher! His tests are hard but he does give you nice study guides. If you are willing to do the work then you will have a great time in his class. Very enjoyable.
Now that I'm officially done with Lifespan, I feel I can comment. Jay is a wonderful teacher! You can ask him anything. He's extremely helpful and kind. Pay close attention in class (try not to miss a day!) take extensive notes and turn each and every bullet from Study Guides into potential essay questions and you'll ace the class!
Very talented teacher. Lectures are great and he makes sure you understand the material for everyday life. He's a challenging teacher, but of you study and attend classes you will do fine. I recommend any of his classes for everyone.
Jay Anderson is great! His lectures are always interesting and he is certainly gifted in this area. His tests and projects are extremely difficult .. if you study for them they're do-able. I was always excited to do all of the labs though. By far learned the most knowledge regarding psych from his class.
Whoever listed him as hot is completely wrong! He's a nice guy, his tests are all on his lectures and articles you read. He was not very good at explaining most of the homework/projects, on the rare occasion we had them.
Jay is such a great professor. He made the class very interesting and gave you real life examples for each concept. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Anderson is THE most awesome and helpful professor I have ever had. If you take him for Death and Dying, be prepared to take notes :) I printed out ALL the slides ahead of time and 95% of the test answers come from them. The tests are not easy, but if you take notes and make it to class every day, you'll get an A!
Jay is not only a very knowledgeable professor but an extremely genuine person. He responds to emails quickly. He is not biased and will challenge you. This is my first course with him, so I cannot speak for other courses, but the homework load in this class was bearable. Projects are structured in a way to enhance application of concepts.
He really gets involved in the topic of death and dying. He likes having deep discussions about the material, and sometimes that helps when you're taking the exams. Take thorough notes. Also, be sure to attend lecture because of the the things he has on exams are not on the power points he posts online for you. Overall, easy, but put in effort.
Anderson is not of any help when it comes to psych, he avoids answering questions and grades at the last moment. If you want to pass a class don't take him.
I took his gen psych class, he is pretty easy if you do the homework. He will send you practice questions for exams if you ask, he always answers questions until you understand the concept. Really understanding. And the best part is FINAL IS ALL MULTIPLE CHOICE 40-50 questions. I highly recommend his class. It's best you go to class too.
highly recommend
Great teacher, good at relating the material to your own life. The tests are weighed heavily on multiple choice.
I took his gen psych class as an accelerated summer course. 7 hours of lecture, and at the end of the day I was sad to leave. Amazing professor! Clear, accurate, entertaining, and extremely good at telling stories. I would retake this class for fun even if I didnt need to, and I never say that about courses. Tests are heavy on essays.
Jay is an incredibly knowledgeable resource. Anyone who says different quite simply isn't intelligent enough to know a gifted teacher from a mediocre one. He's good at making time to help. I needed help clarifying subject matter & he did a wonderful job making something I was struggling with very clear.
Great Teacher, fun, tough grader, funny, interactive, and brilliant. If you get the chance take his class and if you show up to class your passing it.
Awesome teacher! I would highly recommend him! Tests are kind of hard but he is willing to help you with whatever you need
Jay is a fantastic professor! He is willing to help you with anything you need academically or personally. The tests are difficult, but if you study for them you shouldn't have a problem. He makes the class interesting and fun to come to. I would DEFINITELY recommend him.
I can't say enough great things about Jay. Go to class, do the work, study for tests, you'll do great. He loves what he does and you can tell through his teaching. He interacts with his students through e-mail and is truly one of the nicest people I've met. Take his class if you want to learn and have fun while doing so.
I will start by saying that this is one of the classes that I got to enjoy in college. Jay is just a great prof I would highly recommend any person trying to take Gen Psych to take it with him.If you study really good and have a clear understanding of the materials in the class then you are st to pass tests and Homeworks.Take him and expriennce it
Jay is my favorite professor at Normandale! He cares so much about the subject and his students, and is able to deliver the class in a fun, information-packed manner. I'd recommend Gen Psych with Jay to everyone!
Essentially, one of the best professors I've had. I'd highly recommend him for Psychology. I took Abnormal Psych with him and thoroughly enjoyed.
I took his Death & Dying class and he is GREAT! He is a very nice and caring prof who will always explain things for you and seems to really care. The D&D class was not easy, but it was very interesting and fun to learn. His exams are very difficult, but if you do all of the assignments and study, you will be fine. Great teacher and person!
He is awesome and I walked away with a different outlook! Death and Dying is a great class! Never boring and you never want to miss a class! Great Professor all around...
Best professor I've ever had. Incredibly helpful and nice. Knows the Death & Dying material very well and this was the one class that I actually looked forward to going to every week, never dreaded it. Difficult exams but not too bad if you study. The class discussions/lectures are very interesting and he used to teach at Harvard. He's GREAT!
By far one of the best professors i've ever had. Extremely helpful and a great lecturer. I would strongly recommended taking his class.
This was a class I looked forward to going to, the information is so interesting! Jay is a very easy going teacher and very helpful. Attendance is not mandatory, but you need to go if you want to pass the class. You NEED to keep up with reading if you want to pass the tests. He also offers some extra credit. By far, my favorite class I have taken.
Jay is a fantastic teacher! He is helpful through class and by email. His tests are quite hard and contain a lot of essay questions. If you attend class, study a little, and attend the SI sessions, you shouldn't have a problem. This will not be an easy A but definitely worth it!
By far one of my fav professors!!! His lecture method is amazing and makes material easy to understand and apply to real life. You will have to study and read the articles assigned to get a good grade but it's all really interesting so it's not hard work just time consuming! Def recommend Dr Anderson for any psych class!
Amazing teacher - best psych 101. Good examples, thoughtful, open, and encouraging. Clear expectations. Available to help. Interesting class.
Very interesting life stories, test is very hard, must study. Will help you try to understand concepts. If you want a challenge take course.
This was one of my favorite classes at Normandale! Jay is one of my favorite professors that I've had at Normandale. He's a great great prof and also a great guy in general. The tests you DEFINITELY must study for. A lot of short answer and essay questions so be prepared to write A LOT on exams! Overall loved Jay and loved Psych of D&D.
Jay is a fantastic professor! If you ever don't understand something or you want to make sure you're doing the assignment correctly, he's always there to help. His tests consist of about 12 essayshort answer questions so get ready to write. As long as you go to class it's fairly easy. He's funny, super helpful, and friendly!
Mr. Anderson was one of my favorite Professors, he made lectures interesting and the material was fun to read. The tests were pretty rough but so long as you studied everything and know how to use the theories you were good. Attendance is highly recommended but you can get away with missing some days, just choose carefully. Very funny and personable
Jay is a awesome teacher and a fair grader. Textbooks are expected to be read outside of class, but it doesn't really matter if you actually read them or not to be honest. His exams are pretty long (usually around 130-ish questions) and range in difficulty. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you need to make sure to take really good notes and study!
Jay is an awesome professor. His lectures are detailed & interesting! He makes sure not to bore you to death when he's talking. Attendance is not mandatory but you really need to go to class to learn. His study guides tell you exactly what you need to know for exams, which are a true challenge. Overall, I learned a ton in the class & Jay is great!
Jay is pretty great though his tests are the hardest tests you will ever take. Work hard don't be a slacker like me and you might get higher than a D. The lectures are fun and he obviously loves his career
Good teacher and a nice guy. My only complaint is his horrendously unrealistic late-work policy. He took 30% off of late work for late work of any kind. However, I did enjoy the class and he made it fun for me.
absolute amazing professor
This is the second class I have taken with Jay, he is by far my favorite professor. He makes the material fun to learn and helps you relate it to your own life. He is very engaging and funny. You won't pass if you don't show up for class and keep up with the material. The tests are hard. However, I would take another class with Jay if I could.
Jay is one of my favorite teachers. I took a second class with him this semester and have already signed up for another one. He is very approachable and responds to emails in a timely manner. His tests are HARD, consisting mostly of short answer and essay questions. Pay attention in class and you'll do well. Take his class, you wont regret it!!
If you're interested in this subject or not, he will make you like it. It's very interesting stuff and his lectures can be pretty awesome. He is very good at teaching the material to all IQ's. As well as a teacher he is a practicing psychologist so you know what you're getting taught is relevant. Pay attention and open your mind
his class is really interesting and he makes sure you know the material. his tests are hard tho
(Part 1) This one is complicated. So, Jay is everything you'd expect from someone with 20 years of experience as a therapist. He breathes humanismempathy and holds a genuine interest for all of his students. So yeah, his classroomoffice hour experience is phenomenal. However, if you are looking for an intro to psych experience that is rich with
(Part 2) content, then I sincerely recommend you take Andy or Dave(both phenomenal professors as well). Jay spends at least 6 weeks on establishing Psych as a disciplinesoft science. We did not cover personality, abnormal, cognition, perception, or development. So, not great for intro, but awesome overall. Take him for abpsych or death&dying!
(Part 3) Also, of further note, the HW is beyond simple. Just varying psych articles(easy reads) with 2 simple response questions for each. One paper on memory(Wasn't a fan, poorly structured, just regurgitate the article and you're fine). 4 Exams, they're pretty long but easy as long as you pay attention and apply the conceptsreread articles.
Jay is the best professor I've had. It's very evident that he is passionate about the subject. His style of teaching is so rare and is complete gold. I recommend him 100% but just a heads up, the exams are tough, but not impossible if you study. He cares about his students, his lectures are captivating and he really engages the class. 1010
Jay Anderson is hands down the best prof I have taken at Normandale, he makes you think, he will get you in touch with a Psych if you need one, he is a teacher I wish I could take for every class. I love the discussions, I will say, you have to do the homework, there is not a lot but the syllabus is crystal clear, he changed my life.
Jay is such a good professor... and such a good person too. The class discussions are insightful. He's smart guy, and really cares for people. Always there when needed. You have to do the homework and study, but it is nothing impossible. His syllabus is super clear, so if you're a busy student like me, you can plan your studying ahead of time.
This is a class and professor that I LOOKED FORWARD TO, Jay is so personable, thoughtful and he ALLOWS the most beautiful classroom discussion and participation. He is the kind of person I want to be in the life. You will want to go to this class! He isn't easy but worth every dollar, take him for every class you can.
Loved this course and professor! He makes the time go by fast. He makes the course fun! Reading assignments (easy), the exams are tough if you don't study. I am taking him again next semester. I highly suggest him for any psyc course. He gives breaks between the hour :) I never skipped because I loved it so much (he doesn't have rules on skipping)
Jay is by far the best Professor I've had. He makes you want to learn and even study beyond what is necessary. His lectures are very interesting and he makes all the material very understandable. Jay always answers student's questions and is very respectful towards all his students. I highly recommend his classes!
He is one of the best professors I have ever had. The lectures are never boring. His way of teaching and the topics he goes over keeps you engaged and wanting more! There is a lot of information to learn but as long as you apply yourself, he will see that you are successful. I took this for a prereq but found my self wanting to learn more.
This was the class I looked forward to. Jay is an awesome teacher and made the lectures so interesting. I wish I would have studied better for the exams, they're tough. The reading articles and not hard to do, but he assigns a couple other assignments that are worth more points so be sure to do them well.
Jay was great. He really loves teaching and you can tell. Almost any topic you discuss he will link to an experience he has had or a funny story. I barely cracked my book open because he explains everything in lecture really clearly. I would recommend him to anyone.
Took Jay for my first semester ever and he started out my college career amazing! He's so inspirational and helpful! The lectures are fun and interactive. His tests are difficult and worth most the grade for the class so make sure to study based off the study guides. I wouldn't miss class often, the tests depend on it.
He's amazing. Very funny, respectable, relatable, and caring. I'd definitely recommend taking him.
His tests are the hardest tests I've ever taken. They are ridiculously long, 5-6 pages of essays and a few multiple choice. Over half the class fails every test. He's a great guy, tells great personal stories and even plays cool psychological tricks on the class! It's just a bummer his tests are so impossibly long and draining.
Amazing teacher! Everyone should take one his classes. He really knows his stuff and his lectures are so interesting.
Jay is an amazing professor. He clearly cares about his students success and about what he is teaching. He gives study guides for the tests and grades fairly. He also makes lecture very interesting and ties the material into life. You don't have to read the textbook at all, just be sure to take good lecture notes and pay attention in class.
Jay was absolutely my favorite teacher he was really nice and very helpful to me, when it came to turning assignment, or not understanding. Would definitely take this course all over again, wish he taught more classes in my major. He is there for you, very willing to work out something that went wrong with grading and doesn't have bad tests at all.
I wish I could pick more than three tags! Jay was absolutely the best professor I had at Normandale. His lectures are amazing and he's really good at engaging the class. I thoroughly enjoyed the projects he assigned, and I always felt well-prepared for tests. I was genuinely sad when the class ended, I wish we had more time!
Jay is one of the nicest people you'll meet. He's funny in class and cares so much about the success of his students. He's wonderful to talk to in office hours, very personable. His assignments aren't difficult and are spaced out well. His tests can be difficult and tedious, but not too bad. One of the best professors at NCC.
My intro to psych class was my favorite out of 3 classes I took. The whole time he lectures but you get to engage. I learned a lot of things that were crazy surprising. Sit by someone who is nice and does their work or else class will be boring. TAKE NOTES AND GO TO SI SESSIONS. Tests are long. I hate tests but I would definitely take him again
Jay is a genuinely nice prof who truly cares for his students. His exams are insane;y challenging though, to the point of me questioning why. It seems almost unnecessary. A lot of homework too, none if it is too difficult. He will not accept any late work though, even if you join a class late.
Best professor I've had at Normandale. Excellent lecturer. He does lecture the whole time, but the content is never dull and I always look forward to his class. Tests made my hands hurt, but as long as you pay attention and take notes you'll be fine. He gives study guides for all his tests and responds very promptly to emails.
Jay is a pretty awesome teacher who I definitely recommend. Tests are very manageable if you study and going to the S.I sessions help.
He really cares for you as a person and not a number.
He was very interactive with his students. Very personable and professional. He gave good lectures with lots of activities. He makes an effort to help you and I really enjoy my time in his class. I was surprised that many of the class averages on tests were quite low, C range. Lots of writing on tests. However, I think everyone should take him
Jay, is a very nice guy. easy to talk and always welling to help when you need. if you study and follow his study guide you will do well on his exam.
Jay is a great professor. Very accommodating to students, and has a great teaching style. Has loads of worldly knowledge on the topic and is willing to share may of his experiences truly making his teaching come alive. Very applicable topic to real life, I would recommend anyone taking this course. After this class I have decided to minor in psych!
I took his death and dying class fall semester 2016. He is an amazing professor. He is caring, kind and funny. The exams are hard but if you study enough you will pass. I highly recommend him. He made me more grateful for life.
He's a great teacher & one of my favorite's. His tests are mostly essay & they can be long. The textbook isn't used a lot, but some questions on the test come from the textbook. He's always willing to help you & always telling jokes in class. Study & if necessary, go to SI sessions. It's not a hard class if you are willing to put the work.
Jay's class was the tipping point for my decision to become a psychology major. His intro to psych class is mostly lecture but it's always interesting and relates to the material studied. The tests are heavy in essay questions so make sure to study and always attend class for the best notes and examples.
Jay was a hilarious teacher, who really gets the information across in a memorable way. Don't miss class though, because half of the notes come from him writing on the whiteboard and his lectures. It's a decent amount of work, but if you schedule it's manageable. No group projects, which I liked. Very entertaining, it made it a very fun class.
great teacher, you can't not love jay, super easy homework!!! the only downside is his test never in my life have I ever took exams so difficult, so pay attention and study.
Jay is a really good guy, and a great teacher. Very funny, likeable, interesting, knowledgeable. The only thing that annoyed me was when he'd let us out of lectures early, but that might be just nerdy me.
Jay is a great professor. I struggled with reading and writing. When i went to his office time to explain that I noticed I had a struggle reading the exam- He helped me and gave me advice on what to do. He does read your papers and gives you feedback. He really does care and have help me improved my writing. I'm not an english speaker.
He is a good teacher and tries to keep the class entertaining but the homework takes a very long time and the tests are super lengthy and takes a long time to take.
Jay was a great professor, approachable. Lectures were easy to understand and interesting, though his Power Points are not organized well, so jot down mostly what he's saying. Tests were a little tougher than expected: 13 multiple choice and 5 essays. Most of the test material is in his lectures so go to class. Lots of small group discussions.
The tests are very hard if you do not study but the class is fun when you participate in!
Jay is my absolute favorite professor at Normandale. He is very funny in his lectures, and he is passionate about psychology. His exams are pretty tough, but as long as you go to class and pay attention you'll do fine. He makes it really enjoyable to be in his class, and I wish I could take all of my classes from him. DEFINITELY take his class!
Jay is great! He is very friendly, and makes the learning environment very enjoyable. The content always relates to current real life situations. His exams are mostly free response so it is important that you can apply the concepts, and not just memorize defintions.
Jay has been a super great teacher so far. There are a couple papers and critical questions that are assigned every other week. Both are fairly easy, they just need to be thoughtful. The exams have been easy so far, just make sure to pay attention in class and you will do well. I will be taking him again next semester.
Jay is the best! He is funny and a Im your friend kind of teacher but he makes sure academic stuff comes first! He is a fairly easy grader as long as you actually try and are thoughtful! The tests arent too bad but the first one seemed to surprise people a bit. I would take his courses again 100%.
Jay is a great professor to talk to about anything. Always nice and positive. The exams are a bit hard because most of it is all essay questions. Take him if you think you can handle the workload because there's a lot of work to do. You can get an A, but you have to work for it. Don't take this class with another really hard class.
Jay is an excellent teacher, decently easy grader and very understanding. Makes class very entertaining. 7 critical reading/response papers during the semester. Tests are difficult, lots of short answers ad eassys applying the content. Attending class, the PASS sessions, and studying outside is required for a good grade. Overall great class!
Jay is an incredible professor, I highly recommend him! His exams were difficult, but assigns critical responses each week that were easy points as long as your response was thoughtful. He also offered a generous amount of extra credit at the end. His lectures are so interesting! He is the type of professor that will make you love the subject.
Tests are hard but he has study sessions that help a ton. Best professor I have ever had. Lectures are story based so it gives you something to remember when taking the exam. As long as you put in the effort you will do just fine.
This Professor was really good at first but towards the first exam his explaining for things got confusing and continued as the semester went on. I do not recommend him at all.
Jay was a great professor. He was incredibly caring and understanding to everyone. His lectures had lots of real life stories which made it easy to think back on during tests. A lot of people said that the tests were difficult, but I felt that they were easy as long as you paid attention during class. Lots of chances for extra credit as well.
I have never seen a professor like him! he expects too much and doesn't understand at all. he grades hard. he grades based on your grammar and writing and not the idea of the course material you put in your writing. at the beginning of the semester he was nice and helpful but ends up being a hard person.
Best professor ever. He's really chill and cares that you understand the content instead of just memorizing terms. I would definitely suggest attending the pass sessions if available.
Jay is honesty the best professor I've ever had! Super caring and funny. A lot of what is on the tests comes from his lectures, so make sure you show up to class and pay attention. He posts the study guide about a week ahead of the test so you have plenty of time to prepare and ask questions. You won't regret taking his class!!
Jay is by far the most wonderful professor I've ever had! Not only is he an excellent person, but also an incredible teacher. He uses a wide variety of teaching methods and his passion for the subjects makes lectures super interesting and engaging. He is respectful, kind, and encouraging towards his students! Work hard and you'll do well, promise!
The tests are killer.
Jay made my first semester as a returning student so meaningful. I missed a few classes due to illness and he was always available to go over what was covered in lecture to great extent. He is committed to making sure that, above all, you get the most out of the course. There are many opportunities for self-reflection which adds even more to class!
The best professor I've ever had! He cares and does his absolute best to teach students the material the best way possible. He is clear with his grading criteria and his communication is outstanding. You must attend every class period as his tests are lecture-heavy. You won't regret taking a class with him.
This was the first college course i attended and the best class i have taken. Amazing lectures, so entertaining and fun to listen to (yeah fun!). He grades very fairly, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE IN THIS CLASS, it shows in your work and he can tell, i found out the hard way. Excellent feed back and i would love to take one of his classes again.
I learned a lot in Jay's class. His exams are BRUTAL - mostly essay. You'll have an article to read with an essay due nearly every week and an extensive case study. There is a TON of work, but its interesting, relevant and Jay is a very reasonable and understanding guy.
Easy to get an A but you have to study plus he gives extra credit.
Jay was by far one of top 3 best Professors ive ever had ! His exams are more of being to apply what you understand and learned. not really multiple choice. He super interactive and kind. i loved his way of teaching! his very passionate and WANTS YOU TO LEARN & PARTICIPATE. i definitely would take more classes with Jay. Take him you wont regret it
This was a tough class due to his brutal exams! However I learned a lot! The class was very interesting!
Jay is a good teacher and is really involved in the class discussions. I thought some things he explained were confusing and the tests are hard. The class was okay.
Jay is amazing! We do this assignment where we interview someone and I learned so much about development through real experiences and discussions in his class!
Jay is a great professor. His tests will through you for a loop if you decide to cram or try to go in completely blind, but besides that he's a nice and funny guy who clearly cares about what he's teaching and explains it well. You have to actually try in his class, but if you can do that an A is achievable. Definitely take him, would recommend.
Great Professor. He makes the class very interesting and cares about what he teaches. His test are basically all essays and you have to study to do well. What is expected of your work is clear and he gives you every topic you need that will be on tests. If you put in the time to study and do all the work, an A is guaranteed.
First of all.. He is my all time favorite professor. He is so clear on what he needs in the class and definitely makes you learn the material you are learning. He is hilarious and is easy to talk to and is willing to explain things to you. You learn everything by going to class so don't skip. He is amazing at getting people involved & makes it fun.
I love Jay! He is the most outstanding professor I have had the whole time Ive been at Normandale. Jay constantly surprised us with what was next in class giving us more opportunities to learn. His extra credit project was super fun! There is one giant paper but he gives you plenty of time to complete it and makes it a simple A. Study hard though!
Great lectures. Show up to class and do a little studying and you will be great.
I took Jay's class for credit, I already had an interest in psychology but Jay definitely made me more interested. He made class not seem so much like class and he really helps you understand the material. I took his hybrid class and it was the most enjoyable class I've taken in a while 100% recommend
Jay is one of the best profs I have had at Normandale. He is very clear and concise on what is expected of you and very helpful in making sure you achieve that. Lectures are fun and engaging and the tests are never surprising as long as you take notes and pay attention. I would highly recommend taking his psych course.
Jay was one of the best professors I had at Normandale. This class was fun and the tests weren't too hard if you studied and understood the concepts he taught in the lectures. Go to lectures and you'll get a lot of useful examples to apply concepts when you get to the exams.
There're so many things I could say about Jay. He's an amazing professor. You can really tell that he loves teaching psychology. He includes his own stories into his teachings, so that you get a better picture. The exams are a bit difficult because they are mostly short answer and essay, but as long as you study and pay attention, you'll do fine.
Dr. Jay is hands down the best professor Ive ever had. Funny and entertaining lectures! Not only does he genuinely care about his students outside of school, but he cares about how everyone does in his class. Attendance isnt mandatory, but if you miss lectures you wont pass, as theres content from lectures on the exams that is not in the book.
Amazing professor. Tests are very writing intensive but super engaging lectures make the class very enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and sign up for any class that jay teaches.
Jay is a great Professor, but he cancels classes a lot. If you work midnights and show up for class without checking your email you might be disappointed!
Amazing guy overall but his tests are almost completely written and quite difficult. He really cares about his students and has a lot of engaging lectures. He doesn't weigh though so make sure you do every assignment.
Jay is hands down the best teacher I have had, he generally cares about his students. His class are fun and relaxing, HOWEVER the exams are really challenging because almost everything is essay based, make sure you understand the material. The exams are worth a lot of points so be prepared.
Best professor at Normandale. His lectures are funny and highly entertaining, he's a very genuine person and easy to talk to and get assistance from, and the content is presented in an easy way to take notes and understand. His exams are quite difficult but for good reason and he walks you through it. Would take any class from him even just for fun
Jay was my favorite professor I had at Normandale. I was extremely bummed that classes had to go online halfway through the semester. His tests can be tough, but theyre not weighted super heavy. The homework isnt tough either. His lectures were always very interesting and he cares about his students. I would highly recommend him as a professor!!
Very nice. Easy to understand class content. Works well with students.
The best professor I've had! He always does everything he can to help you pass, and includes lots of extra credit opportunities. Keep in mind if you don't go to the lectures, you will not pass easily. Not too tough of a grader, but not too easy either. Exams can be difficult, but if you went to the lectures and studied you should be fine.
I absolutely love Jay. He's an excellent professor. One of the best I've ever had. He gives LOTS of opportunities for extra credit so doing well in the class should not be an issue. I definitely recommend this guy!
Jay is an awesome prof i would take this class for sure again was easy to manage
Jay is probably the best professor at Normandale. Not only are his classes incredibly interesting and engaging, but he's also just a great guy. Yes, you should definitely show up and pay attention to lectures to get decent grades, but honestly, he makes you *want* to show up for class anyhow. I HIGHLY recommend Psych of Death & Dying!!
Jays great! He gives plenty of extra credit opportunities and his lectures are so entertaining and engaging. There are 3 mandatory tests, kind of hard but you have a week to complete which is nice. Theres a fourth test/final but its optional which was really nice - he's super flexible with grading and deadlines and overall an amazing teacher :)
Professor Anderson is a great teacher and always gives good feedback. This is an inspiring course. I would definitely recommend it.
This was a really easy class with a lot of extra credit options. It was nice that it was so easy during COVID. Just show up to lectures and you will pass everything.
Dr. Jay is one of the best professors Ive had! There are 3 exams which are quite difficult, but if you try your best and study you will do better than expected. Make sure you attend lectures, that is where all of the information is given! Lots of extra credit too, some of it you will only know about if you attend class.
Prof. Jay is very funny, inspirational, and helpful. He always answered emails in a timely manner and he's always clear with his criteria for grading and student participation. His class is heavily writing focused, he is passionate about psych, and he genuinely cares about his students. Make sure to attend lectures and do your homework!
Jay is the best professor ever! He includes so many stories that help you understand the material and he makes class fun. There is a good amount of work but all the due dates are in the syllabus at the beginning of the semester. The assignments and class are really easy and enjoyable. Jay makes this class amazing and applies concepts to real life!
Jay was the best professor that I have ever had. If you are taking psychology I highly recommend that you take Jay's class. He really knows what he is talking about and is good and sharing it. You need to attended his lectures to know what the content is but it isn't that hard. He is very nice and defiantly wants to get to know you.
Jay is one of the best profs I've ever had. He really cares about his students and gives awesome lectures. Participation is key in his class but that's because his exams are based off of lectures and concepts from class. His exams are take home and are challenging but really doable and you end up appreciating them and doing better than you thought.
Jay is great. His tests are absurdly long. If you want an easy class, test-wise, this is not the class for you. If you want an entertaining and engaging class this is that class. The critique I have is that his tests and homework are incredibly demanding - too in-depth. This is an intro class & his expectations are too much. He's great though!
Anderson is fantastic, and there is a reason he is so highly rated. If you get the chance, take him. 3 tests, 2 papers, and about 8 HW. Tests were extensive, and one paper took a bit of work, but Anderson grades graciously. Easier class and would recommend him to others he was great! 10/10 would take again!
Honestly a really good teacher, he cares about his students and what they have to say. His tests are fairly easy if you know the material, which is all layed out for you. had a few extra assignments but does not drown you.
This is the second class I've had with Jay, and I would absolutely take all my psych classes with him if I could. He really cares about all his students and wants everyone to feel welcome and engaged. He makes online classes feel just as personal and engaging as in-person. Extremely helpful inside and outside of class. Take this prof!!
Professor Anderson was an exceptional professor. He was funny and his lectures weren't boring. His exams were a bit tough, but that's because you answer "scenario" questions based on what is taught in class. He always put his students first though and he makes it a priority to have students feel confident in this class.
Jay is one of a kind! He wants his students to succeed and genuinely cares. Going to class is important because there is a lot of info to learn. Some info can seem very scientific and wordy but he creates examples that are relatable and when he explains things he breaks it down. He is always available for questions. I would highly recommend him!!!!
Like the other reviews said; Jay is an amazing human being. If you survived high school you will be just fine with his tests. He's a funny man who makes you learn just by him cracking jokes. Not hard if you show up and take notes.
Doctor Jay Anderson is a real gem in his field. He is loved by many students within psychology and cares for students personally and academically. He gave us fun assignments like the cemetery project, and showed constant enthusiasm for his class. BEWARE his tests are long and require a good amount of writing.
Jay is AMAZING! Best prof I ever had. His lectures are hilarious! Hes super chill, understanding, and easy to approach for help. Always having a happy mood that really lifts up the class. Overall, jay is the coolest, hes not like your typical boring professors.
Jay is a wonderful professor. He is so sweet and caring, however, tests are difficult. You have 3 tests, and 2 other major assignments, and then 7 critical questions which are pretty easy. Make sure to pay attention to due dates as they are quite random. Psych of death and dying was definitely an emotionally tough yet rewarding course.
Jay, overall, is great. This is an intense course, but he makes it relatable and interesting. While attendance isn't required, if you skip class you will not pass. There's a VERY heavy lecture component that includes long out of class videos in addition to lecture. Exams are very long and in depth, but he gives opportunities for EC at other times.
great teacher! however, I can say that the exams are pretty challenging. I recommend attending PASS sessions, coming to class, and paying attention. He is also helpful when it comes down to answering questions.
Overall, I respect Jay but he could do better at testing students less (and not in the academic way.) He is intentionally tricky and admits to playing games to see if youre on top of your academic game, at the expense of your grade. Teachers who are compassionate to students in all situations and genuinely wants the best would not do that.
I built my upcoming semester's classes around ensuring I can take another class with Jay. He is one of my top professors! Always looked forward to his lectures, so be sure to take him in person! DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! LOTS of weekly homework. Got away with never reading the book but the articles he assigns are mandatory. 4 tests that are take home.
Genuinely an amazing professor, had so much fun in his class. He's so adaptable and kind, loved this class and this professor!
Great professor. Exams are a challenge but they are open book. Only time I used the textbook was during exams, but there were articles, etc. to be read week to week. Try to attend as many lectures as possible! The slides are online but they are missing a whole lot of context, + there are in-class activities that are graded sometimes.
Was so nice and made learning this topic easy and fun. My class participated a lot and he cut the final exam. He was kind and used real-world examples and cared about each student. If you have a choice with psych professors, choose Jay.
Jay is a great professor to have! He is very calm, funny, caring, and extremely helpful. He teaches well and offers lots of extra credit. The exams are take-home and open-note which made them easier. He even had my class skip the final exam since we participated throughout the semester. Choose him if you can, I highly recommend his class!
Jay provides excellent feedback on assignments, encouraged thoughtful discussion in class, communicated unexpected changes in schedule clearly, created a warm and welcoming environment in class in which students felt safe to ask questions, told entertaining anecdotes that showed real-world application of concepts. I cannot recommend Jay enough
The first class i ever took where i cried when it ended. Please PLEASE take one of his courses.
Jay has fun lectures and keeps the attention of the students. Exams were open book, and there is a lot of homework to do for this class; however, the assignments and exams were very fun to do and though they were difficult at times, I learned a lot!
Jay is the best professor I have ever had. Once you take one class with him, that won't be the only one! He is one of the professors that you actually get to know rather than just on a last/first name basis. He cares not just because he's a psychologist and therapist, but because he is a genuine person!
Jay is an outstanding professor. His lectures are not simply read off of a slideshow; he delves into each topic and has fun and engaging conversations. Despite waking up for his 8am classes, he always started my day off great. Assignments were easy as long as you put any sort of effort into answering questions. Overall, highly recommend taking.
Jay was one of my favorite professors my entire time at Normandale. He has a great sense of humor, grades fairly, and has interesting lectures. For the class I took, exams were short answer, applying whatever we learned that unit. There were one or two papers, but they were largely self-central, and overall not super difficult to complete.
Jay is easily the best professor I have ever taken, He really grabs your attention in his lecture's with his humor and down to earth attitude. The exams were easy as long as you studied, the assignments were straightforward & simple. Very genuine professor who seems to really love his job & never failed to bring a smile to my face during class.
Professor Anderson really cares about his students and is super understanding. His only cons are that he responds to emails very inconsistently and his slideshows are vague if you miss classes. The exams are just the study guides which he posts online, hes very consistent with grading, and gives really nice and uplifting feedback. Please take him!!
Jay is a very understanding professor who cares about his students. His lectures tend to be longer but are never boring and he puts in the effort to make class interesting and relevant to what we need to learn.
Amazing professor, all tests are essay questions, which was very difficult for me.
He was honestly a really good prof took him last fall but he was just obsessed with his wife for god sakes everything somehow involved her or his kids. His exams were mostly written no multiple choice whatsoever and two papers
Jay is an engaging professor who makes lectures enjoyable. Exams are open-note and there's plenty of homework, but it's manageable if you stay on top of it. unstuckstudy ai was a big help for studying and prep. Overall, highly recommend taking Jay's class.
Amazing and caring
I loved taking Intro to Psychology so much; Jay was a great teacher and very understanding! This class is project/assignment heavy in the first half of the class and very easy and laid back once you finish the second exam! I never found myself bored in his class. If you need to take this class, then you definitely should take Jay! 10/10 Professor!
Jay is a very engaged professor who's constantly trying to push and help students understand more. There's a decent amount of work that needs to be put in but not crazy, and his assignments for the most part are interesting and don't take an absurd amount of time. He does a great job at making it a comfortable learning setting, highly recommend!
just take his class, don't even bother reading the reviews. like honestly this guy is just so amazing. epitome of a chill guy
Taking this class was the best experience, it was fun and impactful! And the materials for your homework are actually interesting so it doesn't feel all that bad and he gives full points. The lectures were funny and the group activities were so incredibly fun. You guys should definitely take his class, you'll have the best time!
Jay is AMAZING!!! He's so caring and understanding, and his lectures are super interesting. As long as you keep up with the work (which is very doable), you will ace his class. His tests can be hard, but he releases a study guide in advance so you know exactly what will be on it. Please take his class, he's the best!
Jay was my favorite professor so far. He has great stories in class that are very entertaining. His tests are to the point and the material you need to know is very clear. He learned all of our names within the first month and remembered them. You can tell he cares about his students and loves what he does, which made psychology very enticing.
Best class and professor I have ever had
Dr. Anderson is awesome! I took his Intro class last semester. He tells funny stories that actually relate to the topics in class. There is not much in the way of homework just some podcasts and readings to do. The only downside is that his tests can be difficult at times and there is one paper. He is very nice and cares about his students.
His class was amazing. He is extremely helpful and understanding, his class is interesting and engaging. You are given plenty of time for homework and papers. Jay Anderson is hands down the best professor I have ever had. If you are interested in psychology, you will love his class.
Anderson's speech, behavior, and mannerisms are like what I imagine Jesus Christ's were. If the world were just, he'd win the powerball tomorrow. Take any Anderson course.
The best class ever, best at explaining using his real life experiences, he is very understand, his exams can be hard but if you attend his class and review for it then you will for sure do good, funny, fun activities, his class was my favorite day of the week, love his class!!!
Amazing. That's all I'll say.
I've taken about 20 college classes across 2 community colleges and Jay is the best prof I've had by a long shot. Competent, knows the material inside and out, great at teaching it, great communicator, extremely thoughtful and kind without being condescending or coddling. Please take a class with him, you'll really enjoy it!
I wholeheartedly agree with the person who said “ Anderson's speech, behavior, and mannerisms are like what I imagine Jesus Christ's were.” That's all I have to say.
Jay Anderson makes his lectures fun and motivates students at least me to not miss a class, he gives amazing feedback !!! Funny and chill professor
Loved professor Anderson!
Dr.Jay is amazing. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. He is all around like an amazing human being
Best professor ever, he is so sweet and caring and so thoughtful during his lectures, he even uses real-life scenarios during his teachings, he's also so funny. Please take his class, he is the best!
Psychology death and dying is a pretty insightful and easy to take with Jay. He has you do 9 critical question assignments and there is one project paper. He's a really nice and understanding professor, he gives you extension days for the assignments and is overall an empathetic guy.
Always did an incredible job both in lecture and in helping outside of class, couldn't have asked for a better psych professor!
Mr. Anderson exceeded my expectations. He is a kind, engaging instructor who makes the class enjoyable and easy to follow. I highly recommend Mr. Anderson. He is excellent at what he does, and this course was a great experience for my first semester in college.
Jay is an amazing professor and truly cares about getting to know all of his students. His lectures are very engaging and he's just a very easy going person in general.
Professor Anderson's class was the best I've ever taken. He is so kind and his lectures always keep you on the edge of your seat. You should take his class if you get the oppurtunity.
Was the best professor i have ever had, he was kind, caring, and made every class exciting to go to, if youre going to take pshycology, he is the best professor to go to.
Lowkenuinely was a goat but I did struggle a little because it just felt like some subjects just didn't feel like they were talked about enough he was a goat though he was nice and chill would recommend for intro to psych he's pretty good
