Dr. Jay makes econ a lot of fun, and easy for pretty much anybody to pass. Best teacher at O-Dub! (well, maybe tied with Dr. Ritter).
He's very knowledgeable and doesn't speak down to students, which can be good for some and bad for others.
very personable and easy going need less graphs though

Dr. Jay...da man...
Recommened to anyone taking Econ. The best Econ teacher in the area by far.
Many disputes with many students. Avoid at all costs.
This is my 2nd time with Dr.J and still believe that he is the easiest teacher. You rarely need the book and if you take good notes (and study them) you will get an easy "A". He only conflicts with students who do not want to learn and are unpre
I loved his class. He was a nice teacher and gave MANY examples of every type of problem on each test. Take good notes and copy all examples and you'll be fine.
He was an awsome teacher, he made the class fun and easy to understand. He is there to help you and try to make things clearer for you if you don't understand. He can't stand people who make no effort, but he's still pleasent to them. Just work with him
He's a great instructor. I'm now a senior Finance major, and I'm still using the material I learned in his class. He doesn't have much patience for slackers, but if you pay attention in class and study your notes, you'll be fine.
makes things real easy
I loved this class! It was my favorite class ever! It was hard, but it was exciting!
taken for both micro and macro econ now, HIGHLY recommend. He makes it easy for you to understand. rarely uses the book and teaches in a much clearer fashion than the book. Very graphical. always willing to help. very funny guy. if you have a problem, let him know ASAP, he will work with you
Sometimes he was difficult to understand, but usually not. Fairly easy fast track class, we took 3 tests.
WORST CLASS EVER!! Makes you feel stupid if you dont do good
He is so funny! He makes the class interesting, fun, and easy!
he is cool but he will make you look dumb? Dont ask questions and you can stay away from looking dumb. He does not speak good enlish
Dr J's Economics classes were very interesting; he always related class to the day's news in business/economics. Some people find him hard to understand but if you can get used to the accent and hang in there, it's an interesting class.
He talks very fast and does not speak good english so it is hard to understand what he says and take notes at the same time. I would NEVER take a class under him again. He also makes you feel stupid when you ask questions or answer wrong.
I could not stand Dr. J. He was extremely unclear in his lectures. He never brought any materials to class except for his own knowledge. We were asked to write a research paper and it did not count for anything. The only thing you got credit for were his tests and if you didn't do well on the tests you failed the class. Don't take him!
Dr.J was extremely easy. His test are all multiple choice, and come straight from his lectures. Take good notes and it's a breeze.
Took the class as a business pre-requisite. Gives 4 tests, and you must write a 5 page paper and present it to the class. He was a good teacher, but it would have helped to have had previous knowledge on the subject. If you take his class--you will do fine. He is open to answering questions and working problems with you.
I liked Economics with Dr. Jay. You have to write a five page paper and give a five minute presentation. His tests come directly from the notes. You will not do well in this class if you dont show up. He writes all of the notes on the board for you, and you just copy it. You generally get out of class early...
He knows his stuff if you want to learn from him... He does not like laziness and will compliment you for working hard to get good grades, but will point it out if you make mistakes... He can be sarcastic and rude. He is fair with grading...drops the lowest test. Requires a very small oral presentation...nothing to it. Does not use the book much
Dr Jay is an extremely intelligent individual who is always available to help students out. The concepts can be complex at times, but he is always willing to take as much time as needed. It is very easy to make an A in this class, just make sure you come early, and stay for the class, and to not miss any classes. VERY nice understanding guy.
Can not tell what he is saying clearly and he is very condescending if you don't understand. Actually told me "Maybe you should drop out if you're to ignorant to understand." after he vaguely went over a premise and I asked a question.
I enjoyed Dr. J's class very much. I found him very helpful and friendly. Sometimes his English was difficult to follow, but his knowledge of economics was pervasive. I learned a lot from his class.
Great guy, great Professor he makes learning fun! He doesn't use the book much because his knowledge of the subject can make it easier than the book can. He always adds humor to the class and he ALWAYS helps the people who are trying. But, he has to interst in helping slackers fumble through class participate in class and take notes you'll get an A
Dr. Jay is a pretty cool dude, though getting through the first half of the semester may be hard. Listen, take good notes, and joke around with him and you should come out fine. I found the subject itself very boring, but Dr. Jay does what he can to make it seem interesting.
FIRST OF ALL, YOU CANT EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT HES SAYING, CAUSE OF HIS ACCENT. HIS WORK AND TESTS AND VERY HARD. SEEMED LIKE HALF THE CLASS FAILED ALSO. YOU BUY A 140$ BOOK AND DONT EVEN NEED IT OR USE IT,. SINCE YOU CANT UNDERSTAND HIM, YOU DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON IN CLASS. TAKE ANYONE BUT HIM
Purpose and Suppose are his favorite words
He is a good teacher. If you're worried--don't be. Here's the trick, you must either come to class and draw the diagrams or get them from someone else AND you must at least skim over the chapter before the test. He doesn't use the textbook much, but he'll throw definitions and things in from the book on tests. He also is funny. likes to crack jokes
Really easy, at least I thought so. He'll bump your grade if you do a decent presentation. Watch for the 'mother of all tests'. Mention cheese. He likes Cheese.
Dr. J is a pretty amiable guy. Took this distance learning. Didn't take very much effort, got an A, Dr. J accepts work early, ontime, or late. Tests were easy. assignments were easy. Easy degree of diffuculty for an A.
This is a weeder class. If you stick with it, it does get easier. I don't really understand Economics, but with a lot of studying finally got it down. He doesn't really require much but is strict on attendance.
Dr. J is easy and nice. He bends over backwards for students. A very easy A for his class. Highly recommend.
Never want to take him again. Dont believe these other comments. Hes hard to hear and to understand. Bought a 180$ book. Didnt even need it but once. Rediculous. Dont buy a book, share wih a friend.A lot of students failed. in my class.
Wow, this was the hardest class I have ever taken, and I learned absolutely nothing. The only good advice I got was from a friend in class that told me "Whatever makes more money." Other than that, this was like a foreign language to me, and he was no help at all.
Dr. J is a pretty nice guy. A word to the wise: TAKE HIS EXACT NOTES! EVERYTHING HE WRIITES DOWN, COPY IT and you should do fine. Tests are normally around 35 multiple choice questions. Don't buy the $170 book, you never use it. I think I cracked mine open once or twice at home.
Pretty easy class. Just study the notes and youll be fine. Write down the notes.
He is a good teacher, fair and he only tests on what he talks about during class. He gives reading mostly for homework but if you write down everything he teaches in class then you will do fine.
He is extremely disrespectful towards students- he actually ignored one student until she was forced to present last because he wouldn't let her sign up for an earlier date. Also, he constantly chides the students for not knowing "simple math" when in fact they do not understand the concepts he is teaching. Class was boring.
Dr Jay is a good dude. Yeah, he has a strong accent... so what? I wasn't looking forward to Economics, but it actually wasn't that bad of an experience. His test reviews just before you take a test definitely helped alot... probably the whole class.
I enjoyed the class. Dr Jay knows his stuff. TAKE NOTES FORGET THE BOOK!!!! Dr Jay's manor of teaching is very effective and his reviews are a must.
he's SO hard to understand & he 's really rude. he doesnt listen to your questions & makes you feel stupid. plus you cant understand his indian accent.
Hard to understand Doesn't use the book Does not check or even seems to care if you understand him not enough work given to get a fair grade.Very rude!
Prof. Jay is a cool dude. He has great real life examples. He has a sense of humor and takes the time answer questions. Homework assignments can be a nit tedious, but he reviews before tests - Big +!!! I'd recommend him if you have some kind of interest in learning a bit of Economics.
If you don't need class don't take it. He's nice and funny. If you don't have prior knowledge get it. Don't buy book he doesn't use it. If you are a poor test taker don't take class, because that's what this class consist of. Form a study group, and/or compare notes with someone. Test do consist of notes. Study, Study, Study!!
I enjoyed his classes. The homework consists of about 1 or 2 problems (that he doesn't take up), he just walks by to see you have attempted it. The exams are all open note/open book.
I did not like the class at all. He used myeconolab.com for homework assignments. Some of the chapters had over 85 question for that chapter. He only had a mid term and final. The questions came from the homework assignments. I do not like his new method of teaching.
This class sucks, period. "Dr. J" as he is known is rude, extremely vague concerning assignments/test material, and not helpful at all, even during office hours. Tests are open book, but they are HARD and the book is ridiculous! Wish someone else would step up to the plate and teach this class, until then I guess we're stuck with this guy :-(
The guy below me needs to chill out, seriously. Dr. Jay is the coolest, he will help you when you need it, but you really shouldn't need any help since all the tests are open notes/open book. If people think this class is hard they'll be in real trouble when they get to finance accounting with Murphy, it's 10x harder than this stuff. Jay, U rock!
By far the worst teacher i've ever had. I took this class distance learning while I was deployed. It took him 1-2 weeks for every chapter of HW and when it came time for me to take the midterm, it took him over a month to get it to me. And when it came time to take my final he told me I had to wait another month. Would not recommend him at all.
This class was easy because the tests were open-book, although he said he may change that starting this fall. I don't know how I would have faired if all the tests were closed-book; even with open-book I never got an A on any of them. Dr. J is also a little hard to understand, but he is glad to clarify things if & when you ask. Great class overall
I didnt use the book AT ALL. His tests have 30 m.c. questions & are from his notes but he does scenarios which throws people off. I had no interest in this subject but I think he taught it pretty well. I didnt take the class too seriously so I got a B, but i could have easily gotten an A. I would take him again.
I liked this class a lot. Didn't use textbook at all. But write down everything he writes on the board!!! Tests were OK, not easy but if you studied you'd do well. Dr. Jay is a good professor.
Good Professor. passionate about economics. doesn't use book at all, but take notes during his lectures, and you'll do well in the tests. does good reviews before the test, so pay attention! not an easy class, but just stay on top of the topics, and you'll be fine.
Not an exceptional teacher, but hardly the worse. Very nice and approachable but not always clear on explanations, but always went over test material and made them pretty easy. Little homework with longer deadlines. Very passable class so long as you browse notes and do the online homework. One paper/presentation @ the end of semester.
Great teacher!!! Knows what he is talking about and is very helpful. I took him for both Eco2013 and Eco2023 fast track. Very helpful. As long as you come to class and do the work you will get a good grade.
This guy cracks me up! He knows economics and as long as you go to class, you will too!
He was a great teacher and definitely knew what he was talking about. I took this class a couple months ago at 16 and got an A on every single test so I know it is very doable. There is very minimal homework, all online, and what little there is you get plenty of time to do. I definitely would take econ 2 with him.
His teaching method has actually helped me learn the subject, not just memorize things for the tests.
Dr. J is a great teacher. He makes economics interesting and easier to understand. Wish I could take him for ECO2023.
Dr. Jay is the one... I took him for Econ I (Spring Fast-track) and Econ II (Fall Online)... He breaks down the material in class so its very easy to understand... If you're online, and you do the homework, you'll be good to go for the midterm & final... He's very helpful and always willing to answer questions... Excellent instructor!
Dr. Jay is incredibly helpful if you don't understand the material. It can be a little difficult but he is always willing to explain further. Can be hard to understand, and he realizes it so he doesn't mind repeating himself sometimes. Much better in class than online since he explains concepts well! Also allows testing cheat-sheet!
I found the class difficult to get involved in until about half-way through the semester. The class was very well spelled out in the syllabus and he is very open about what he expects from you. If you attend the classes you'll do fine.
JAY.... THE MAN, his summer class was awesome, almost no homework, barely any studying to do, just pay attention to class and take notes. easy grade.
Had Dr. Jay for Econ I and liked his teaching style so I took him for Econ II. He teaches straight from memory - no book required for students either. He makes Econ fun, is extremely smart, and is very passionate about the subject. Does all lectures using the white board and makes sure everyone understands the concepts. #1 Econ teacher at NWF!
I took Bhattacharya for Economics 1 then I took him again for Economics 2, he's hard to understand at first (well at least for me) but that almost makes you want to pay attention that much more. He tells jokes and gives some pretty funny comparisons to keep the class involved and will definitely help you if you go to him for it.
Took Dr. J online for econ1, easy; took him summer fasttrack econ2, loved it. He is fun and entertaining, but DO NOT carry on conversation with classmates during his lecture. you must understand exactly what he teaches in class, most folks did not have book and didn't seem to need it. Sad to not have him for any other classes.
I took his summer session 3 class. His lectures in class were kind of hard to follow because he bounces around and ties it all together in the end. After his lectures I thought that his tests were going to be incredibly difficult but they were surprisingly easy. He does require homework on MyEcon Lab. Pay attention in class and take notes.
Dr. Jay is FANTASTIC! Never mind his teaching ability, he is one of the most entertaining professors I have had! We as a class, don't go a day without breaking out into hysterics. If you can get past his accent(which isn't that bad) and really listen to what he says the class is very easy. I intend on taking Econ II with him next semester.
Very hard to understand. Cant read handwriting on the board. If you ask a question he will reply with "oh my god". Interrupts students. Doesn't use the book. Very confusing with his teaching style. Extremely rude and unhelpful.
He is pretty difficult to comprehend, especially if you're unfamiliar with economics. Referring to the textbook helps a lot. He has a bit of a mean streak at times, but for the most part he's a nice guy.
He is very hilarious and entertaining. Didn't use the book much, however, he did write his notes on the board. And for the person that mentioned his " oh my god" saying, you have no sense of humor!!!
Dr. Bhattacharya is GREAT. My major is economics, so I'm a tad biased, but his class was very entertaining. I always enjoy coming to class because I never know what kind of jokes he will have that day. Lecture is very clear, tests reflect what we do in class, and he's always there to help. I highly recommend him.
Took online. Homework assignments are a joke, I had 4 chances to get each question right so all 100's on homework. Midterm and Final were tough but Final is not comprehensive which is nice. I actually made a 78 in the class but he bumped up to a 80 without asking (I bombed the final, totally my own fault). Put in the time and it's an A.
AMAZINGLY COOL PROFESSOR
Just understand the logic and you should have no problem.
Dr. Jay is awesome, I took him for both ECO 1 & 2 and looking forward to taking him for the QMB and FIN classes. He's fun to listen too and cracks me up. His Economics classes you don't really have to use the book that much except to study for test and maybe some homework. I definitely recommend.
Pretty good Economics teacher; alot of people will gripe about him being hard to understand because of his accent, but I think its just because of how he will backtrack his examples sometimes is why hes confusing. Once you figure out his whole message however, it is very clear and he gives great examples. Wish he was teaching 2023 at FWB this fall.
Quick and straight-forward weekend class. No complaints here. His tests are exactly on what he lectures on. Take notes and pay attention and you'll pass easily.
I only spoke to him once and he was very nice and willing to help me. If you aren't good at math don't take online if you don't have too. I found myself using the web more than I should of had to just to pass. The book is mostly reading material and the tests are all applying what you read mathematically the book does not help here!
I took Dr. Jay for both macro and micro economics, and he is a very concise teacher. Despite other remarks, I found him very easy to understand, and I feel his teachings make a potentially hard course easy.
I enjoyed the class. He can skip around some and isn't clear on a few explanations, but my grade didn't suffer. He's not clear on how he calculates your final grade. I calculated an A, but I ended up with a B overall. When I asked if I could see him so he could go through it with me, he refused. He's helpful during the semester, just not after.
I took this course online. Do NOT choose him as a teacher or at least do not take it online. He literally doesn't teach you, he ships you off to a website and that all I've heard from him. He is response with e-mails but his answers to my questions weren't explained very well. In order to get a decent grade, just be prepared to STUDY and READ.
Amazing. Inspirational. Stunning. Hilarious. Great at teaching, always available to talk. I feel like I learned a lot, even though I'll probably forget everything he taught me next semester. A great course taught by a great teacher, can only be improved if God himself or Lebron James taught it.
Dr. Jay has a rather unique teaching style. He teaches by lectures only, and explains everything off of the top of his head and doesn't use powerpoints. I love this style as it works very well for me, but I can see how others would have difficulty with it. If you are good with critical/abstract thinking, you will love his class.
I really enjoyed Dr. Jay. As long as you pay attention in class and take good notes, you should easily pass. Most of his tests have bonus questions, and if the class does well enough on the third test, the final is over only new material and not cumulative. Doing well pays off!
Dr. Bhattacharya uses the online connect program to teach Economics. You do LearnSmart modules, and then homework assignments for your first two grades. The Midterm and Final take up a chunk of the grade. If you do the modules and email him about the math, he will tell you what you need to know.
He was awesome took him for Econ 2 just go to every class and take notes or get someone to share notes with and you'll pass. Ask questions if you need to and he'll answer before he moves on, he got the whole class involved and made the class more fun.
His class can be a bit overwhelming. He teaches off of lectures only, and constantly asks the class what they think the answer is. A lot of times he will rant about the incorrect answer to see if the class will figure it out. 4 tests, a paper, presentation, and online homework. Pay attention and study; you'll get an A.
Dr J is an amazing teacher with an equally amazing memory. Complete grasp of the subject matter. I like that he challenges the class - not just straight textbook material - this facilitated actual learning and critical thinking.
The classwork can be difficult, but he makes sure that you are understanding the material.
Awesome teacher. Always available and answers questions students have clearly. Tests are easy to study for and he will give extra credit sometimes. Always flexible with students and wants them to succeed.
Dr. Jay is a wonderful teacher. For most of my life I considered myself "bad at math" but this is the 3rd class I've taken with him and I've made A's each time. I realize now what a difference a great teacher can make. He doesn't move on until he feels like a majority of the class understands the content. He makes class fun and engaging. The best!
I took ECO2013 online and it was pretty simple and straight-forward. The homework doesn't take a lot of time, but the learnsmarts take a little bit more time. Very easy to get an A in this class you just have to take some time out to do the assignments.
Nice person but his class is SO HARD. He says u don't have to memorize...u do! Lots and lots. Some of the formulas are so long it's CRAZY. Hated this class. That being said, he does care and is available for help. Don't miss class, take good notes, STUDY STUDY STUDY and hopefully you'll do ok. He makes everyone answer in class; no phones or puters!
The class was overall very easy. It was an all online class, and it was only a 12 week course I believe. He crammed a lot of material into a short amount of time, but it was manageable. There is about 40-50 questions to answer with each chapter within learn smart and then another 65 HW questions. No essays were assigned. Tests are 65 questions.
I took his online economics class. It was easy, tests were easy and so was the homework. We had a long time to do the work but everything is due the same day so you cant fall behind
Professor B. is amazing and truly understands and loves what he teaches. He wants you to do well, so definitely talk to him if you are confused in his class. It's a difficult topic but he's great about starting discussion in class so you can get involved. You will get the most out of his class if you participate and ask questions. Highly recommend.
I took his online ECON class and it was so easy. Just make sure you complete all the homework and do the discussion boards and you will pass.
I took this course online, youre pretty much on your own but as long as you do your assignments and discussions (which are very simple) you will be ok. However, be aware that things labeled Practice are graded material and if you have to discuss him reopening these because of the misunderstanding, he is incredibly rude and will talk down to you.
Simple class, easy assignments but they are incredibly long. Honestly was a do by yourself type class, He was barely involved. He also did not grade any assignments until the last day of the grading period which was pretty scary not knowing. Overall a really easy class though.
His lectures are filled with accent heavy incoherent concepts about supply and demand. The worse teacher I have taken at my 2 years of NWFSC. Be prepared hear the most nonsensical lectures, if you are actually interested in Economics steer clear.
I took him for econ 1 and 2 online. His class is easy, every chapter you have 2 assignments and a discussion every module and a midterm and final, each are worth 40% of your grade. I didnt speak to the professor at all and this is a very do it yourself type of class. I would recommend if you want an easy A
I took for Macroeconomics and took online. The midterm and final count for a good chunk of the grade. Homework assignments are LONG and count for very little. There is a lot of math in Homework that is not explained. Very difficult class and professor pretty much checks out and leaves you with it. Just thankful to be done with Economics.
You will have some homework, however it is not difficult assignments and the questions prepare you for the tests. Only 3 tests and then the final. You will have to take notes every class, however his lectures are very interesting and he made me genuinely enjoy economics.
The class is not easy but took it online so I have the time to study and complete assignements. Do all the work and on time and you will have a chance to do good.
Is a class with a lot of homework and 2 tests (you need to do good on them because are worth a lot). Economics is not an easy topic but if you work hard and do the work you should do fine.
He is firm in his policies, so make sure you are familiar with the syllabus. I finished with a 79.4, partially because of personal things, but also ALL tests and assignments are though McGraw Hill. Tests count heavily and the McGraw Hill hw does not prepare you well for the tests which seem to go way beyond the mere definitions covered in the hw.
Lectures on what he wants to, vaguely follows the textbook. Grading is 20% Homework, and 4 exams each weighted 20%. Homework is an easy 100, but the exams are extremely difficult. Students end up teaching themselves most of the time, even during lecture. Would not recommend taking this professor.
Literally awful. Only 4 tests which weigh 80% of your grade. Despite many people failing, he still doesn't give any extra assignments to help to improve grades. Homework is easy but barely has any weight on your grade. Take Burns because it is going to save your GPA. BEWARE!
I was wary going into the course, but I ended up really loving it! He teaches very thoroughly and ensured that everyone understands. He has made economics easy for me to understand. However, you MUST attend the classes and take notes. You will not pass otherwise. But, I highly recommend him. He is one of my favorite teachers I have ever had.
Loved taking his Econ 2 class! The class was very entertaining and taught me a lot. Attendance is definitely mandatory, all of his lectures are important and make sure to take notes! You have to put in effort out of class to study and you will do fine! Take good notes, pay attention, participate, ask questions.
Super chill class. For the most part you do everything at your own pace. Your exams are worth a lot.
Does not help and make sure his students can do the best possible job they can because of little guidance for studying for tests other than "going over the homework". Study material is extremely limited and what is there is never part of the test, and the professor will still be baffled when the class does bad on the exams. Almost in a mocking way.
I loved Econ I. Every horror story I heard was false; econ is just hard. He pokes fun at his students, but he's obviously not mean, just entertaining. His lectures are far more fun and concise than the text. The workload is much lighter compared to Burns's. Everything lectured on, nothing more, is tested on; take notes. One of my favorite teachers!
If you've heard anything bad about Bhattacharya, it's false. His class is great. He's really funny and everything covered in lecture is on the test. As long as you understand the concepts and study a bit, you'll do great.
The lectures were difficult to understand and he seemed to overcomplicate simple topics. He would over-explain something that could be understood by more people if he just used a simple explanation. He also wasted class time by making us guess trivial things like "the price of milk" or "another word for static." Khan Academy taught me more.
Professor Bhattacharya is absent from his online classes, which is disappointing for those who sign up for online economics only to be taught exclusively by outside resources such as McGraw-Hill, which are reminiscent of middle school busy work with the exception of the insane number of assignments taking at least 2 hours each. Do not recommend.
RUN FROM THIS PROFESSOR!!Homework is extremely involved but does little to help on the tests and only counts for 30% of grade. There are only 3 tests and they count 70%. If you do bad on one test your grade is going to drop. He is also unavailable to communicate with in any capacity. I was told to avoid this professor and wish I had listened.
Class was brutal. Tests even more so. So much homework just for it to do absolutely nothing to bring my grade up. The tests were completely different than the material learned.
This prof does everything with McGraw Hill. Homework is 75-100 questions. Assignments take 2 hours and usually have 375+ questions. You will have 3-4 of these due at a time. If you work, or have any other responsibilities don't take this class. It is draining. He doesn't respond to emails. And the assignments/HW are only worth 6-10 points each.
He does not explain the concepts clearly and does not give time to his class to give them a better understanding. Study materials are limited and all classes do badly on his tests while he does not do anything to help them do better.
He was overall an amazing professor! I absolutely loved his teaching style and I genuinely learned so much in his class, all tests were multiple choice. I'm taking the next class he teaches!
Professor Bhattacharya's class can be a mixed bag, but with the right approach, it's very doable. Lectures can be tricky, but the exams are fair if you stay on top of the material. unstuck AI was a lifesaver for efficient studying.
Micro and Macro are not easy subjects, but Mr. Jay is fair. I believe he's the only Econ teacher at NWFSC, so you'd better get used to him. There are two exams (non-cumulative) that are 60% of your grade, so it is in your best interest to study for them. There is some busy work, but it's manageable if you stay on top of it.
You have bairly any way to bring grades up if you fail one test. The tests are worth 80% of the grade and you have 4 of them. Homework is 20% but it bairly will bring you up if you make one mistake and a bad test. take it online. He gives 0 extra credit and doesn't care if you pass. plus he yaps for half the class about stuff that doesn't matter.
The tests are most of the grade and homework barely lifts it up, so make sure to attend class and take good notes for yourself. He does give lots of examples and explains the content well enough, though it is confusing at times.
DROPPED FIRST DAY... each time your phone buzzes equals 10 pts off ur score for the exam? Accent was hard to hear. Was not the best fit for me. One HW section shall take you 3 hours minimum.
I loved professor Bhattacharya! Some people in my class struggled with his lecture style, he doesn't give you clear answers right away. However, this helped me learn, in economics you have to understand the general concepts and he did an outstanding job at simplifying subjects. He taught much better than the book, he's also very funny.
