Professor Keith gives out a reading homework assignment every night and when you come into class you are expected to know the reading. He randomly calls on people to give the awnsers. I found that when I did the reading I enjoyed his class. If you read the open book quizzes are very easy, and isn't to tough of a grader on the very few essays.

I think Professor Keith is an ABD professor from Binghamton. For a community college he's not bad. The guy probably makes terrible money, so if you want better, pay for better. Professor Keith is a great professor. He is always willing to help his students succeed as long as they put in the effort. I enjoyed his class a lot because he let us discuss on many topics that were unrelated to the course lectures. He grades well and will let you turn in late work. He likes when you participate and speak up in his class a lot.

Just, no. If an assignment isn't done exactly to his liking, you won't get a good grade. I'm not sure how he can judge how another person writes their own resume. The final project consisted of a 7-10 page proposal with a matching PowerPoint presentation that you had to present for 10 minutes. Not a fan. He did give plenty of time for assignments.

Professor Keith is a very tough grader, if you think this is going to be straightforward summer class for credit you'll find yourself disappointed. He makes assignments more difficult than necessary and does not seem to understand that students may have obligations outside of class.

The tags are completely sarcastic. Jay's grading is harsh and doesn't show how many points were lost for each note made. If your work is not perfectly to his liking, you will receive under a 70. He grades off of his opinion. It seems like he expects 400 level work out of a 200 level class. Find a different prof for the sake of your mental health

He was an okay proffesor however, he does have a sour look on the world. Felt like we were a burden on him even outside of class. He doesnt like when students are late. His lectures were good and plenty time on assignments. During assignments, he has a particular way of what is right to his standard. He is not a harsh grader in the end.

I never met him since I took ENG251 online. He doesn't seem like a bad person, although he's a very harsh grader, but he will provide you with good to decent feedback. Some assignments were a little tedious, but as long as you don't wait until the last second, you should be in good shape.

I took this course over the summer. There were quite a few writing assignments, but the professor provided clear instructions and helpful examples for each one. He didn't grade harshly and gave thoughtful, constructive feedback with the opportunity to redo every paper. Overall, it was an easier class than I expected and a positive experience.
