He's the best instructor I had thus far. Being a business major, his class was something I was looking forward to every regularly. The instructor exceeded my expectations! It was an awesome class! Would take again!!!

Mr. Lorino is a great instructor and it was a great class to go to. Definitely would recommend his class to anyone! You will learn a lot for you future in an interesting way.

Promptness is a must. Nice instructor, very helpful if asked. No extra credit though but does give bonus points, a plus if on time. Very knowledgeable in this field. I will be taking another course with this instructor next semester. I found this class to be very helpful.

This class was very helpful in learning what it takes to manage a business or to be an effective manager/supervisor.

Mr. Lorino is a great teacher and a fair one, in order to pass all you need to do is show up listen and complete your assignments, he gives you at least half of the scheduled class time to complete assignments that are due for the next week so in theory you can walk out of his class with no homework if you spend the time to do it in class.

Mr Lornio is a good teacher, has a wealth of knowledge and life experience who if well versed and listens to his students. He gives good lectures and speaks to his students with respect and dignity. The assignments on black board are well organized and are not difficult to keep track of.

He is very good instruction and very good making points. The test is good, but when people who is deaf or hard of hearing, perhaps, find another way to make sure that the deaf or hard of hearing doesn't get the struggle of understanding in the test while answers true or false.

Mr. Lorino was a great teacher I definately hope to have him again. My only issue was I didn't care for the downtown campus . He is very encouraging and cares about each of his students.

Mr. Jay Lorino is a very laid back instructor. the class was very easy. The only downside financially is that we must have access to Connect. other than that his lectures were pretty clear the project presentations were 2 minutes long and the papers required four paragraphs only. the lectures run about a hour out of the expected 3 hours.

I appreciate the fact that attendance is not really an issue, as long as you maintain a good grade. This professor understands students have other commitments in life.

VERY EASY CLASS

Great class discussions and clear explanation of what's expected.

The Professor is very easy going and everything in class was easily understandable. Really would take other classes that he teaches. Hard to find such a great professor that explains everything so well. Homework is easy too and quiz are great just right to the fact.

Good speaker

I've had 3 Leadership courses with Jay and absolutely think the world of him. I wish he were teaching other courses at this location, I'd be the first to sign up. He's easy to talk with, knowledgeable, somewhat laid back, and puts thought into his class content which is always fun and interesting.

It was a pleasure taking his class and I learned a lot. He is one of the few instuctors at matc that is intelligent.

This is the second time I have taken one of Jay's classes. Any time it is an option for me to take his class I take it. Jay is a great professor! He is the kind of professor you never have to get a hold of because everything is perfectly and clearly explained and laid out. He is prompt with grading, feedback and with his lesson plans you do learn!

Great professor and would definitely take again. Was nervous about taking business management but he gave very good instruction and as long as you do the work you will get a A. There is a big project (5 sections) which put into a 8 week accelerated class makes it a lot of work. But you can work,ahead and he encourages you to do so.

Mr. Lorino was a good teacher, he taught and presented the material in a way I could understand and grasp it. I learned a lot. Lots of reading, but it paid off. On the first day of class I had "NO" knowledge of business, but today I have some knowledge and understanding. This class was very beneficial as it was needed as a beginner entrepreneur.

Over all hes a bomb (great) teacher. I would definitely take other business classes he teaches.

Mr. Jay Lorino is an exceptional instructor who is knowledgeable with the material and teaches and explain it in a way you will not only grasp, but understand it, and later can apply what you've learned in the work place. Being engaged with class discussion matters, and pay attention during lecture time it will pay off when you take a quiz or exam.

Good feedback, also the deadlines are every few weeks instead of every week. Makes working and going to school that much easier!

He give us an example for our projects assignments. As long at you do not procrastinate and keep up the everything even if it is given ahead of time do it ASAP or have an idea what is coming up.

Jay Larino is a great professor. He sets his curriculum for student success. I highly recommend him as a great professor.

His class was easy. Probably too easy. I had no issue completing the work, but it was all connected assignments. Easy way to boost my GPA, but no real "meat" to the curriculum. I would take him again just to see how he actually instructs in person rather than online coursework.

He is fair and willing to help out if you ask questions.

Great professor, cares about the students. However, he doesn't f around, you need to put forth the work. This isn't an easy A, he will do everything on his part to make sure you succeed, but you need to do your part. Meeting deadlines is extremely important, strict on deadlines. Great guy, definitely recommend his class. Not relevant, but cool guy.

Mr. Lorino is very fair and understanding. My workload didn't allow me the time I needed to really excel in this class. He offered a lot of good information that would have been very helpful as my business plan is really a business, I started a year ago. I am happy to have had the opportunity to attend. I would recommend his class to others..

I thought this class was going to be tough at first but once I got used to the layout and the way this teacher grades it became easier and less stressful.

I really enjoyed taking this teacher! As somebody who is going for Marketing and this being one of my business electives, I really enjoyed learning about the content, and he provided a lot of really interesting videos and homework assignments. You will definitely improve yourself for your career if you take Management Principles with him!

I would definitely recommend Mr Lorino & any of his classes. The only negative I would say I had, was that he isnt always the easiest to get a hold of through email. 1 email conversation I had with him I still didn't fully understand the assignment & the other email I sent he just never replied to. Other than that great class and teacher. easy&fun

I was nervous about this professor since I didn't know much about him, but I really enjoyed his class. It wasn't super difficult, although it is a decent amount of work. I work full time & go to school full time and I didn't think his class was too much to handle. I don't really have any negatives from taking this class or this professor!

Small business management(BADM 145-900) There were a decent amount of assignments in this class, but it wasn't too many to handle. I work and go to school full time and I did just fine. It's paper heavy but it was only because each week you do a section of the final assignment so it's helpful for sure and actually kind of fun. 10/10 would recommend

Make sure you are on time with your assignments. Procrastination will not win with this course. I am a returning student of Mr. Lorino, he is an awesome Professor and very fair. Muscle through the readings and turn your homework in on time and you will do amazing! Mr. Lorino has great communication! Definitely recommend his courses!

Procrastination was my enemy in his class... But he is well liked and respected for a reason... He goes above and beyond to make sure his students succeed in any class they take with him... This is why I am going to be looking for another class to take with him as my professor....
