This guy is a Riot. Other than being funny he is very Helpful and makes the class interesting. This was "Films of Catastrophe", so it was interesting anyway. He knows his Stuff and is happy to answer all questions. Take him for anything you can. Highly Recommended.

i love this guy! which is why im taking another class of his. he is so witty that it makes you want to come to class! this is the only class since i've been in college that i can honestly say i went to EVERY class. he isnt difficult when it comes to grades and there are no tests, just some small assignments and a final paper. easy enough.

Easy class, and loads of fun! You discuss a lil, then watch a movie each class. You have to write film analysis papers, but he grades easily. Your final exam is a 5-6 page paper, but again, easy. Take it if you need an easy. enjoyable class. He's also very helpful and witty. Cool guy!

Funny, interesting, and easy to talk to. This class was amazing...and interesting as well. Come to class and you are all set. Dr. Morong knows his stuff and makes you know it to. All he wants is for you to think and analyze. Awesome!

I thought this class would be an easy A class, but it is NOT. It is the class that most of all you would not be likely to get an "F" either. Most of the time, we watched movie and discuss about it. It's actually very interesting. I do not know why he has to tough on students's grade. It's really ANNOYING if you think about it

This was a satire class. Pretty interesting. Funny professor. If you keep up your reading you will do great. He said it was an easy A but in reality you had to work for it. But overall, a lot of fun. Good professor.

Horror Films was one of the most interesting classes Ive ever taken. Not to mention watching the scary movies makes class go by fast. There aren't any test, just papers and a notebook on the movies. (You watch Halloween, Psycho, Night of the Living Dead, Carrie, Silence of the Lambs, etc.)

I took his LBST class on satire. This guy is awesome! He is always in good humor and very witty. Lots of in-class discussions. I had lots of fun in his class and even looked foward to it (rare for an 8am class). Take one of his classes if you get the chance.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. this is one of the few classes I've taken during my college career that I've absolutely enjoyed every second of. I loved going to class, the subject matter (horror films) was interesting, and he's a great guy. Very funny, laid back. No tests, just a discussion group, plus two papers during the semester. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The people who are complaining are lame, Jay is seriously amazing! The theatre lbst is purely lecture but he puts humor in it (he had me crying from laughing so hard most classes) and tries to make it interesting. The class is easy, all you have to do is take notes in class and read the plays... ok? It's fun! He's awesome! Take it, you'll enjoy.

I do not like Theater but loved this class and professor! Dr. Jay certainly kept it real and made theater mean more to me than it ever had in the past.Fun guy and defanitely knows how to involve and motivate students. Easy quizzes and tests. You HAVE TO go to class! He actually asks students to leave who come late(who does that?) Awesome though.

This class was great! Fun, entertaining, and a even a little educational (if you like theater). As a liberal studies course it is how they should all be. And Professor Jay is a riot. Gets all worked up half the time because he is really excited about the topic, hilarious. Still a good teacher and only expects you to do the work and nothing more.

The class can be a bit boring at times but Jay does throw in some comedy just to keep it lively. Unless you are really interested in theater, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the class. It does involve reading several plays and the tests are mostly fill-in-the-blank with some multiple choice.

good class and teacher but tough grader. I worked like a dog this semester and only earned a C? Attendance killed me. If you take a class with him DO NOT SKIP! It will lower your grade even if you do well on tests and quizzes. All in all an ok class with a nice enough teacher. I agree with everyone else thoug, he is pretty hilarious.

Tests are rough, follow your notes, quizzes online can get annoying, do them early. Attend class, attendance can be the difference between an A or even a C. He will help you, and he is reasonable. He knows his stuff! Buy tickets for plays as early as possible, people outside of our university attend plays, and they get sold out easily!!!

Professor Morong is awesome. His classes are thought-provoking and always funny, but it is not the easiest LBST in the world. Attendance (and coming to class on time) is totally TOTALLY mandatory. And you'll have weekly quizzes that can be difficult to keep up with. But overall, I say take him!

Jay is amazing! He is by far the best teacher I had this semester. Class is always funny and it is very interactive. Being on time is a must. I would love to take Jay again he was in awesome teacher. Definitely take his class if you can

He is a great professor and the class is very entertaining. But i would advise you not to take this class if you are shy. Participation is a must. Your grade is really dependent on it. And, DO NOT be late to class. Get the book, you have to read plays, but the quizzes are easy. He is a very funny professor, and makes class fun.

I thought I'd hate this class at the beginning of the semester, but now it's my favorite! Jay is very enthusiastic about his subject (theatre) and it shows in his lectures. This is what I imagined university to be -- intellectual discussions and great professors. Attendance mandatory, and you also attend two plays for credit.

Twice AWESOME, once for theater and once for film. Jay is an excellent communicator and extremely knowledgeable about his trade. Must have: participation, attendance,text books,quiz skills, and acceptance for provocative and exilirating disscussions. He gets easily distracted but you've got to love the curly hair. Class is not easy but is fun.

Film/Theatre class. Everything was awesome. Teacher was great and he made the class fun even if it did last until 9:15 PM and attendance was mandatory. Learned a lot and have much more respect for films and theatre now.

He seems like a total jerk when you first get the syllabus, but he's actually really cool, and super passionate about theatre. I liked this class a lot, and I would highly recommend him. His first test is pretty hard, so be super prepared for it. He also gives out lots of extra credit. If you have a problem, talk to him, he's really understanding

At first he seems totally sarcastic... in reality he is super nice and he knows what he is talking about! His first test is a killer, take great notes and READ THE BOOK! Play quizzes are easy and he offers 100 points extra credit... DO IT! Attendance is mandatory. Overall, great class!

Amazing! You talk about a teacher who knows his stuff. Talks a mile a minute which can be frustrating but has a LOT to say! This is a theater class and talks to you a lot about film, tv, music and just about everything else pop culture so you understand what he is talkin bout. I would take him for another class. Very helpful. Great!

Like others have said: don't be late and don't skip class. In the beginning of the semester, I thought I was going to hate this guy, but he ended up being one of my favorite professors at this school. He's really understanding and has a pretty wonderful sense of humor. You'll learn SO much about theatre. Oh, and he's super hot. Just saying.

if you are an obnoxious freshman, then yes, you will hate him. He does have a some ground rules (just basic stuff) that he expects from you, and I found that alot of the freshmans have issues with that. But hes actually really nice and a great professor. Just dont be late to class, because he WILL not hesitate to embarrass you.

I'm a freshman and I will admit, at first he scared me, but deep down, he's really nice?funny too. GO TO CLASS! The tests are all based on his lectures. READ THE BOOKS! Those book quizzes will kill your grade if you don't. DO EXTRA CREDIT! It's super easy, why wouldn't you do it. Overall, boring but relatively easy if you pay attention.

Very thought provoking class. Not hard if you do read and take down important notes. First test is pretty hard but then you get used to it. Mr. Morong does his job and is fair in grading. He actually cares about his students and wants them to get something out of this class.

I took this class online, and I must say even if you don't have an interest in theater you have to be dedicated to this class if you want an A. He is a straightforward professor, if you do your work and follow directions everything will be good. You get 15-20 minutes for online tests, and 5 minutes for online quizzes. Don't slack off.

Not a huge theater person (I like to watch but never really knew much about it) but Dr. Morong made me love it! The class was so interesting, attending plays for class and extra credit was so fun, and the tests were easy if you came to class and took notes! Would definitely recommend this professor!

One of the easiest online classes I have taken. The quizzes and test are very straight forward if you keep track of all the main points (just wrote down bold titles/definitions). Anyone who complains about the amount of reading/work is just lazy (this is college). Followed guideline for paper and turned out perfect. BUY TEXTBOOK cause you need it!

This professor is easy. Show up to class and go to the productions if you want an easy A. There is like 5 books you need but I didn't get them, i read the summary on sparknotes and passed the reading quiz with an A. He is a very cool and nice teacher! Take him!

Mr. Morong is hilarious. This LBST is quite easy, but it does require that you go to two on-campus productions and one off-campus film screening. So if transportation is an issue then you may not want to take this class. Other than that, this class is interesting and it's nearly impossible not to get an A unless you don't come to class.

Really cool guy! It's his way or the highway, so do the work! BTW if you do all the work and assignments, including screenings and plays, plus extra credit, you will get an A and not have to take the Final Exam! He offers A LOT of extra credit opportunities! If you're a freshman take him!

Great professor! Have about 3 test a semester with a few online quizzes but BE SURE TO TAKE NOTES! If you study them for about 40mins before test it's a EASY A!

Jay was the best teacher ever! I thought this class would be hard because I didnt have a lot of previos knowledge however I learned alot and got a really good grade. There is no way you can fail this class unless you do nothing, he offers TONS of extra credit and the quiz's are really easy,I didnt buy any books for his class either :)

In my class we just had a few small plays to read and we wrote a little about them. He gives a lot of oppertunity for extra credit. The tests aren't hard, I hardly studied and got an A. Just take notes and look over them once and go to the in class review session and you got an A in the class. He was a great guy too, I enjoyed listing to him speak.

There are three tests which come from the lectures. Make sure you take notes from his slides and look over before the test. The class is easy but the only catch is that he requires you to attend a UNCC play and a film screening off campus. Just make sure you buy your tickets early because they will sell out.

Jay gives life to what could easily be yet another boring gen ed. He just wants his students to think creatively and feed their curiosity. His lectures are interesting and he has a wicked sense of humor. Just show up to class, TAKE GOOD NOTES and make sure you get tickets to the required events EARLY (they sell out quick). Take this guy if you can.

Lecture were pretty boring, all you need to do is take the notes that he shows on the projector. Attendance is a sign in sheet. Tests were over the notes and short reading assignments. Has 3 books that he says ($15 total) to get but didn't use a single one. Great guy and has some interesting things to say. Bumped grade from 88-90. Would recommend.

Loved this guy, he's hilarious! Some students dislike him because they're more interested in chatting than listening, but he doesn't mind if you chatter as long as it's quiet & you're in the back. Tests couldn't be easier & gives so much EC that if you don't make a killer grade, it's your own fault. Can only miss 2 lectures, then he docks points.

I loved this class. Not because of the material but because he doesn't care if you just sit on your phone or watching netflix with headphones on your laptop the whole class. As long as you don't talk you can do whatever you want. Attendance is mandatory but it isn't too bad. Tests are easy, you just have to go see two movies off-campus.

Enjoyed taking this theater class, I wasn't sure what I was going into when I started but I enjoyed the class as we moved along in the semester.

Really liked Morong as a Theatre lecturer, he knows his stuff! Keeps your attention because hes funny & doesnt take it so seriously. Attendance is important, be on time, dont leave mid-class because does not like class interruptions. See 2 films, 2 play productions, write a 2-3 page papers on them. The off topic lectures are the best lectures. There is some material he has to cover, but he really likes current events especially if they relate to arts and society. Turn in your papers on time, show up for class, it isn't that hard. If you really don't care just take a nap or do other homework, but it's fun to listen in participate.

Super easy class as long as you show up to class. Attendance is his biggest chunk of his grading criteria, if you miss more than so many classes, he will fail you without hesitation. Other than that, you have 4 papers to write all semester long and they are on 2 movies he assigns, and 2 plays. Pretty easy to write, 2-3 pages and easy grader.

By far the MOST BORING class I've ever taken. His lectures drag on for what seems like eternity. Attendance is mandatory and a big chunk of your grade. You're required to see 2 films and 2 plays, so make sure you go early in the semester to ensure that there are still tickets. Overall an easy class, only had a midterm and final.

The only thing he's strict on is attendance -- it's taken before each class, but you're allowed 2 absences without a penalty. There are only two tests, the main grades in his class are four papers written after you attend a play or film screening. Offers extra credit. Overall great teacher that will work with you.

His attendance policy is pretty strict. Attendance is taken twice, at the beginning and after the break session(if 3 hour class). There are only 2 tests which is the midterm and final, but the main chunk of your grades come from the 2 movies and plays you'll have to watch and write a short paper on throughout the semester (don't do it last minute).

Very easy, but his class seems forever long. Got an easy A and very corporative person. DO NOT SKIP HIS CLASS even after the break! You will fail.

Easy A as long as you remember to do the work. Don't wait til last minute to get tickets for theater productions, he will not be sympathetic. As long as you write down the important stuff the tests aren't so bad. He's a passionate thespian so be prepared for lengthy tangents. Follow all the criteria on the rubrics and you will get a 100.

He was a great professor. Your grade is 2 tests and 2 papers. Follow the rubric on the papers and you get an easy A. Took him for Theatre (LBST 1104) - was a very easy class. He takes attendance and his lectures are usually pretty boring if youre not interested in theatre history. Very easy grader on the 3 essays, the 2 tests are not hard. Would take him again for sure!! I recommend him 100%, it will for sure be easier than any other LBST.

The format that he has to teach in you will be incredibly boring. He understands you're taking this because it is required and he knows that sitting in a lecture is boring. Really nice guy, talks a lot, you must show up and sit there. Don't be rude and talk. The three performances you have to see and review will be bad if you're not a hippy.

He takes attendance, but you can get by without going as long as you go to enough to keep that part of the grade up. He offers a few extra credit assignments, two test, and have to attend three productions. Answers emails quickly, fair graders, trys to keep class interesting. Stay on top of assignments and show you tried and you'll be fine.

Mr. Morong definitely speaks his mind and has so many insightful things to say. Attendance isn't mandatory so a lot of people don't show up to class but they're missing out. Easy A, we only had 1 test and if you studied the notes from the very beginning it was an easy A, required to go see screening and productions, no homework, fun professor and would definitely take him again.

Professor Morong is a super laid back guy. His class is mostly just doing weekly reflections on articles, attending several plays, and then taking two tests. You take a few notes in class but since attendance isn't mandatory he won't post his notes on canvas. Highly suggest taking, just don't procrastinate going to the theatre productions.

Show up to the lectures to get notes for the exams, do a weekly reading post per week, write three papers based on 2 required theatre and 1 required film screening (insanely easy grader.. just meet the word count), and you'll get an A, no problem. Don't walk out in the middle of his class though.. he will call you out, just don't show up.

It's more of a discussion class and he leads it really well, he's hilarious and loves hearing what students have to say about a topic. You can tell he loves his job. You have to read a lot but it's pretty easy but he grades really easy.

The class is easy, enjoyable, and gives students opportunities to support local art. You are required 3 major assignments, no textbook, just reviews over two plays in town and a film.

If you have a friend who takes good notes, you'll pass. There are tests, and the professor is pretty funny. So if anything else, take the 50 minutes to chill, Set some money aside for this one!! There are no textbooks but you will have to see 3 shows. 2 musicals and a specific movie. You can also get extra credit by seeing extra shows.

I went to this class the first day and never went again, yet finished with a 100. You have to write quite a few papers but they are all easy because he is not a tough grader at all. Get ready to travel off campus, it's definitely better to have a car for this class considering you are required to see many theater productions. Basically all online.

Numerous extra credit opportunities. Doesn't care if you come to class or not. Grade solely relies on papers which require you to go off campus and pay to watch them. You have to turn in your ticket and a picture of you there so there's no way around it. Class is easy but you will have to drive and spend some money on tickets for shows.

Basically you go see 2 plays and go to 2 film festivals and write papers on them. He's a super lenient grader. There's two tests but they are really easy and he's a really chill professor. Went to class like 5 times and have an A.

I generally have no interest in theater but my boy Jay got me pretty hyped, at least the 4 times I went to class. There are only a few assignments, most of which are just going to see shows. This was my favorite part, as I would not have seen these shows if not for this class. Everyone needs an intro LBST class, and I highly recommend this one.

Overall this was a really good professor. He had given us 3 tests and two of them were online; the first two were ten questions and the last was around 25. All tests were based on the notes that you got in class. If you have a friend there then you can just get their notes since attendance isn't mandatory. Gives a ton of extra credit too.

He is super chill, you don't even need to show up to his class I went to his class for the first week of the sem and then maybe 5 times throughout the semester. All you have to do is attend 2 film productions and 2 theater productions and write papers on them and submit. There are weekly reflections on articles he posts but no big deal. Take him!!!

SO EASY if you take him for your theatre credit. I heard the other theatre professor is actually easier than him but he's easy enough. Has lectures and you can take notes, or don't. His tests are common sense and if they're not, you can google it because he tended to put the tests online after a bit of the semester passed. Had to write some essays.

The work load is very light for this class. Lectures are optional but I recommend you go to most so that you can do well on the exams because lecture is the only place you will get this material. Professor Morong was very captivating in class. He is funny and had many existential/thought provoking things to say.

Easiest class ever! Only one test throughout entire semester (take a few notes and your fine). Only required short 1-page analysis of article every Monday. Only major assignments were 4 papers (2 for theatre performance & 2 for film production). Class is a little boring unless you participate.

One of the easiest classes I've taken. You typically have 2-3 assignments per week where you *should* read an article and briefly talk about it (250 words). I've barely read the articles and have gotten 100's on the assignments. There are 2 papers that you are given a lot of time to do, and he isn't a harsh grader on them at all. Easy LBST credit!

I attended the first class and he announced he only wanted people who enjoyed theater to come to the remaining classes so they could have fun. He said everything would be online for everyone else. I didnt go to a single class after that, did the four papers and couple googleable quizzes and got an 98

If you're thinking about taking Jay's class for a LBST credit, DO IT. This class is so so easy. Most assignments include reading articles and writing 250 word reflections, and he grades easy. You do NOT have to go to class to get an A. However, attending class can be a great way to get a break; it's a very chill discussion class.

Easiest class I've ever taken. I could get hit by a bus and go into a 6 month coma and still get an A in this class. I haven't shown up to class in 9 weeks and I have 100% in the class. Mr. Morong is funny as hell and super chill. Just do the assignments and you'll be fine.

Professor Morong is a great, nice, and funny guy who isn't strict in the least. I showed up to class just because I enjoyed going but the class is completely accessible through canvas and you don't have to show up to complete the assignments. The only downside is that test may be slightly more difficult but the class will still be an easy A.

This class was super easy. You do not have to go to lectures to do the assignments, but you do have to read a bit. Tests were all open notes online and you had a few days to do it--so easy. His lectures were interesting and so was the course. Two "large" projects and no final exam. He's a nice guy and definitely knows his stuff.

Lectures aren't mandatory it helps with some of the tests he gives and his lectures about theatre are really philosophical so if you can attend his class you should. Also, the material isn't what you would expect from a theater class it's actually interesting.

The class itself wasn't really important. It was good for me because that meant I could skip class sometimes, but honestly it felt like a waste of a class when I could be taking another class towards my degree. It was an easy class and Idk if I would take it again just because of how useless it was to me.

I would've said five but he waited till the end of the semester to assign the bulk of the work. Nevertheless, the assignments were easy and as long as you meet the criteria you get a 100 (not really graded on quality). I went to class but you don't even have to attend his class at all as all the material (except for the lecture ppt) is online.

Class is not required. Only a few assignments every week and none of them were difficult. Very easy and fun class.

As someone who just needs an lbst credit his class is perfect. He grades easy and doesn't give too many assignments and attendance isn't necessary

As long as you do your work on time you will get a full mark, he does not care what you wrote as long as you reach the word count. Easy A class.

Great professor, easy class. The assignments are pretty easy, make sure to stay on top of due dates because he locks assignments and is strict about taking points off for lateness. The most important assignments are the two production papers, prepare for those. Attendance isn't super necessary but it is a fun class and he likes you if you speak up

This class is an easy A. There is 1 maybe 2 assignments a week and they take max 20 minutes. He is very relaxed on his grading, and is funny during class. there are only 3 big papers and they are very straight forward. Only thing is late work is not accepted but he gives you plenty of time to do the work.

Attendance is not mandatory and he posts all the homework on canvas, he's really nice he just doesn't respond to emails fast.

After the first two weeks, I never went to Morong's class again. I treated 1104 as an online async class and it was perfect. Weekly Canvas readings/videos with 250w reflections, watch two theater performances during the semester & write two 750w papers, 3 discussions and you're done. No textbook & lots of busywork. Easy A if you just do the work

How could you not love this teacher. I am currently ending his class with 100% and I haven't been to his class since the first week of the semester. The assignments are easy and have a clear grading criteria. Just make sure to go to the plays that he assigns as they're fun and guarantee you getting a 100 on the assignment.

VERY EASY PROFESSOR!!! There is no need for you to fail this class. You just have to do the assignments. There are two "big" assignments, you basically have to go to two theatre productions and write 2 papers on both productions. If you fail this class, you just did not try.

TAKE THIS CLASS! He is amazing and easy teacher. If you do the work, you will be fine. I am finishing this class with 100% just by doing all the assignments. If you do not pass the class it is because you did not try. There are only two big projects on plays. Other than that you just do a couple of assignments per week that don't take long.

Attendance wasn't required, but I really enjoyed attending this class. Only 2 big assignments and a couple discussion posts per week, but they didn't take long. Honestly its harder to fail this class than it is to get an A, definitely recommend for the arts and society requirement!!

Crazy easy course as he understands its one most people take simply to get through their general education classes. Can show up first day and never come back as everything is done through canvas / online readings. "Classtime" is optional for those that want to participate in his discussions. But all homeworks and assignements are done online.

I just went to his class on the very first day of class and haven't seen his face ever then. Really easy A. Finish weekly assignement and the theater analysis production. It is easy doesn't take a lot of time. EASY A. TAKE HIM!!

EASIEST class ever. Attendance is not required and you have weekly assignments (1-2) that are due on Sundays. There's an assignment called Theater analysis production, and you just have to attend two plays and write a paper on it. Clear guidelines and EXTREMELY EASY TO DO. If you need a LBST and don't want a lot of work, TAKE HIM!!

Dr. Morong is all out just a cool guy. He has all these sorts of anecdotes and stories. Attendance for his class was not mandatory, but I really liked his lectures and that was my motivation to attend. He is very easy to talk to, and his work is not hard. He is a little difficult to access outside the office but that is really my only complaint.

Amazing! This professor truly is one of a kind. His lectures are interesting, assignments aren't hard at all, he's great take him!

Lots of writing. I never attended class. The only requirement he has is the number of words for an assignment. Easy A, but be ready to be bored out of your mind trying to reach the word count.

GOAT. He is the best professor for this semester because I went to his class on the first day of semester and he said attendance is not required since then I have not seen him. One of the BEST. All the assignments are online on canvas. About 2 reflection per week and 2, 150 points analysis. THAT'S IT. EASY PROFESSOR.

this man is the GOAT. He is very caring and understanding and one of the best professors I have had. His workload is super easy as you only have to do one assignment a week which is just about 250 words. I finished his work in less than an hour and you barely have to attend class. The freest A I got in college.

Bro just does not care. We had 5, 250 word essays per week (so like 23 total including the final). Just had to watch videos and read documents each week & see a live play. I got a 100 on every single assignment without even trying and I doubt he even read them as he never commented on them. Take him if he need the credit if not its kinda boring.

Attendance is mandatory, the lectures heavily involve student engagement. He will ask questions to the class almost the entire time and treats it more of a seminar discussion. There is 1-2 hours of work per week with readings and reflections (250 words each). It's a very easy class with minimal work, but the lectures can get boring quickly.

Jay is a great guy, but his class is so boring in my opinion. He was always getting off topic and would continue to teach even after class ended. Each week, 1-2 hours of HW of readings and reflections is given, each requiring 250 words. Class was boring but super easy. Attendance is required.

Took his class over the summer, really straight forward instructions and easy grading. The content was also very interesting so that's a plus!

I took him during summer term,he doesn't really respond quick in emails and graded the papers slow but all we did was watch movies then write a film analysis about that which was fun if you are looking for a free elective or minor class that are easy and stress free this is the one to take.the final was to write what was an ultimate Horror movie

Gives full marks to anything that meets the minimum requirements. Pretty strict in the syllabus about late work, but I couldn't turn in the final paper by the deadline because of travelling and sent him an email soon after the fact. Gave me a couple day's extension with no penalty, plus a couple more with penalty.

Professor Morong's LBST1104 is a breeze - weekly reflections and a theater analysis paper, that's it! Attend when you can, as the lectures can get repetitive. unstuckstudy was a big help for quick assignment prep.

easy A class. yaps all the time. no tests/ quizzes/ exams, only weekly discussion posts about articles & videos. we have to go to 1 play and 1 Fall Festival. he doesn't give u below a 100 on any assignment as long as u follow minimum criteria. i don't think he even reads thru our stuff.

Getting a grade on the assignments and essays within this class is easy, except for the fact that the homework every week can be a bit heavy since it involves reading articles and watching videos to write at least 250 words on it. Other than the assignments, all you have to do is show up and get attendance so the class is chill and nothing serious.

The only reason I attended class is because it was mandatory, otherwise I would 100% skip. I could not tell you one thing about the course. He will talk the ENTIRE time and usually about nothing and he tries to relate it to theater. Other than that the work is ridiculously easy and he seems like a nice guy.

Just have to show up and sit in the lectures and listen, have one homework assignment a week with two required plays you have to watch and a paper for them. The papers aren't hard and the final assignment is the longest thing you write all semester. Best class I have taken at UNCC so far and amazing professor.

Professor Morong is an easy grader. I would recommend taking his class online because attendance is mandatory, but what we discuss in class has nothing to do with our assignments. You will have to watch a play and go to a film festival, so be mindful of that. I will be taking him again next semester online for another course.
