He makes the class fun and interesting, always exciting. Although exams are multiple choice its not very easy. in order to do well, must attend lectures. Also offers extra credit
Lectures are as entertaining as they are educational.

Informative, insightful, and loads of fun. The best professor I've ever had.
Thankyou for coming...sorry so boring
"any commons questions from last time..." Very funny professor. He makes religion much interesting and easy to understand!!
Sakashita is the greatest. He made me wanna go to class EVERYDAY! Totally hilarious...love the stories about his family...craaack me up. But yes...I TOTALLY recommend this prof to ANYBODY...even if religion isn't your thing. He'll change your mind...trust me.
take this class! very good teacher..and very funny. i always wanted to go to lectures because hes very entertaining. exams are pretty easy as long as u attend lecture. he doesnt even expect u to know all the material in the book....just the answers to several questions.
very good professor... very funny, makes class more interesting... no hw, only 3 tests...
He is very funny and makes class fun and exciting. He makes good jokes and he makes sick jokes! As for his grading system, it is good. Not the easiest class in the world, but above the average. Taking notes helps a lot!
Professor Sakashita is one FUNNY guy. His jokes about his family are hilarious and he makes the class easy to understand with such a humorous atmosphere. A class to take!
Awesome class. Sakashita blends humor, religion, and history to create a cool class environment.
This professor is hilarious, positive, and a genuinely nice guy. I was interested in learning about religion before because I had no prior knowledge, and he taught very well, always kept my attention. Made me want to go to every class.

This guy is so funny! He's a really good professor, he makes coming to class fun. Its easy to follow along and to take notes to. His grading system is a little crazy, but it is not a hard class to pass. I recommend this professor to everyone.
seriously the best teacher i've had so far!!! Super funny and a Super good teacher!!!

This is probably the funniest professor I've ever come across.
HILARIOUS GUY... i wish i could take the class again tho :(
Awesome guy, always cracking jokes.

Wonderful class, great professor, I highly recommend taking it!
Sakashita is the BEST professor EVER!!! I actually LIKE going to class, he's a great teacher. late -Billy
he is soooo cute! hahah most awesome teacher u'll ever come across!-mariam
He's the goofiest teacher I've ever had. Every day that he teaches class, I laugh. I'm thinking about going to his class next semester unenrolled just so I can sit enjoy his humor.
Lectures made fun. Who woulda thunk it? His antics are unmatched. Also the best part is the way he explains. He uses very entertaining metaphors to explain various religion's little nuances, and he rocks. Take the class without hesitation.
This was my favorite class this semester. He made classes enjoyable and sooo hilarious. His class isn't easy though. You gotta take good notes, but the way he teaches it (with stories about his wife, ex-girlfriend, etc.) is great. AWESOME CLASS!!! "Thank you for coming, sorry so boring. See you next Thursday..maybe." =)
He is a great teacher. This is my favorite class. He always makes jokes and i want to go to class
Freakin hillarious! great class!
Best Religion class ever I woke up in the morning just so i could go to class because it was so damn funny
He's a really good teacher! He makes the class interesting and fun. The content is easy to learn from him. I recommend anyone take it, if they have to take this class!
Jay is one of the best professors, he is hilarious and jokes a lot about his mother in law and ex's and things like that, the test are a little tricky but if you go to the study sessions you should do fine.VERY RECOMENDED!
Easily one of the best and funniest classes I have ever been in. Seriously, this guy is a bad ass story teller and there's no doubt in his capabilities as a professor. Sakashita knows his stuff. I'm thinking about sitting in next semester just to hear him ramble about his ex-girlfriends and his crazy wife.
Really engaging lecturer. Fun to take, and is a very easy A. Just read the book one weekend and go over your notes, it's not that hard. Kinda hot too, in an Asian preppy way. He will also offer some very interesting insights about Christianity. Also teaches via allegory and parable, so students will remember information easily.
He gives the best lectures ever! His stories are super funny and touching and he knows the material inside out. You can tell he loves his family and enjoys being a husband and father. You can also tell he loves teaching religion!
Great lectures! My earliest class and I was motivated to go. His exams aren't all that great tho. Go to the reveiws. REALLY helps. Compared to my other friends religion class mine was relatively easy.
Good teacher. His lectures are interesting and fun. His exams are hard and the review sessions weren't very helpful. The TAs are cool, too.
If you don't know what Dr. Pepper has to do with the Eucharist, you're missing out. And this man can let you in.
Best professor you can get for this class. He makes you want to show up for lecture. Exams are easy to pass.
Hilarious lectures. Gets you interested in what would seem to be a boring class. Exams are challenging, but if you go to lecture and take notes this class will be easy. Jay is funny and can make anything understandable with his outrageous examples. Take this class.
As far as I know, probably one of the best profs at UH. He makes class fun, and you come out of the class with so much knowledge of religion. everyone should take his class. hes a great teacher and a great guy. tests are challenging, but youll do fine if you study.
The funniest professor ever. You can learn a lot from him because he easily relates things to stuff you can understand. Although his tests are very challenging, study hard and this class will be worth it. You're guaranteed to laugh ever class.
took him for summer school. 3 non-cumulative tests. very organized, structured, and clear. lots of notes, but they're all relavent. tests can be hard bc it's multiple choice w/ multiple answers, but if you're prepared, it's not bad at all. most HILARIOUS prof i've had in ages. has the class laughing out loud every single day. u learn so much, too.
Bad ass professor! Very funny, very energetic, very outgoing, very enthusiastic, organized, intellectual, engaging! This is probably the only class you'd want to go to every day. He always side tracks with one of his stories but there is always meaning to it. You actually learn the material and not ever sleep in class. Definitely take Sakashita!
He's an awesome teacher...hes really funny and helps you relate what you learn in class to the outside world which helps you to remember and recall it better. His jokes are little corny but its still funny and time flies by really fast in his class because you are so interested and he just makes class fun
Okay, so he is very funny, and keeps your attention, however, tests are very hard with at least six 1 page essay question on each, which means that you have to know all the info word, for word, and be able to recite it back to do well. You can not miss class, or you will not have to info for tests. Also, he grades on a bell curve!
Fun class, but don't expect an easy A like most gen eds. Grading is EXTREMELY subjective. I generally get 90% or higher on the multiple choice and around 60% on the essays. Everything is reffered to the TA's who grade and write the test. You can definitely find an easier A class for your general requirements than this one.
Professor Sakashita is the best professor I've ever had! He relates what he teaches to things that are just plain funny but yet very meaningful to religion. His tests are well structured, challenging us to really know the topic at hand which was somewhat difficult, yet purposeful. After taking his class, I decided to become a Religion major!
Great teacher, funny, and interesting. Class was not that easy, but really easy to go and pay attention to class. Tests always depend on your T.A.'s.
jay is one of the greatest teachers ever. totally hilarious but really knows his stuff. this guy makes you WANT to go to class everyday to see what he'll come up with. the exams aren't that bad and the final's not cumlative. overall, i definitely learned the most from jay and would recommend him to EVERYONE. you won't be disappointed
Best teacher I have ever had, and I have had some pretty great teachers at other schools I have been too. He is just too funny and I think what makes me really think that he is a good professor is that he NEVER uses NOTES for his lecture... It's all from his brilliant mind! I think i'll take it again just for sh*ts and giggles. :-)
funny teacher
He makes you want to come to every class because he makes it sooo interesting. You end up coming for listening to him more than for the subject. Jay is the best large class lecturer.
Very funny guy. Went to class everyday even though I`m a major ditcher because it was so funny. Tests are hard in my opinion but his lectures are totally worth it. I recommend his class to everyone.
hilarious, hilarious guy. I actually dreaded the end of this class. Jay is like your favorite uncle at the family parties. On a more serious note, the exams come in 2 parts. A portion on the religion lectures, and a portion on the religions material in the book. I aced the lecture portion but never did very good on the book portion.
He's totally awesome! His tests are straight from his lectures, so as long as you take good notes you'll have no problem! The only tricky thing is that his tests are your standard tests... but you'll get the hang of them!
Awesome teacher. Funny, interesting. KNOWS HIS STUFF!
Best teacher ever and extremely funny. Tests are multiple choice, definitions and essays. You need to take good notes and study to do good. Thank you for coming. See you next class..maybe.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this prof. He's so funny- he takes his random personal stories and ties it to the lectures -- best prof i had so far :)
The best prof. i reall recommed this prof to everyone. you'd want to go to class everyday, and lectures are NEVER boring. he knows his stuff, and gets you interested in everything he teaches. loved this teacher!
The best proff I've ever had.
He's an awesome teacher. I do not regret taking his class at all... and you don't even have to be religious to enjoy his class. He's great, and I'd recommend to take him just to fulfill your DS credit. ^^
best person to take this class from! SO FUNNY!! :) He does go off on a lot of random stories, but i promise, they help you understand the material! his tests aren't your usual ones, but as long as you take good notes in class, you shouldn't have a problem!
You will learn a universal truth that mother-in-law is the scareist person you have to be careful of.
This guy's a master at telling stories to get his point across. You laugh so much but in the end you understand the concept. He should teach teachers how to teach.
Best Class! Super funny and easy.. The only class I attended Religiously... haha, I would go to his class just to hear his jokes.. great guy!!
Entertaining and funny at first. His "comedy act" kinda gets old. Go to class and take notes. Either way you're almost guaranteed at least a C.
You should take him
really easy teacher. makes his lectures fun and gives lots of funny examples to help you understand. tests are pretty easy if you study
Really great teacher! Funny guy, makes class worth your while. Never boring at all. His notes are good, and tests aren't too bad.
Great Teacher, Funny as Hell. As long as you study a little and write some notes, the tests will be a breeze. Don't have to go to lectures, but he's so funny that you will probably want to.
loved going to his class. only thing negative was that he only gives out 3 exams and that's it. he does curve. even though i got low exam grades i learned a lot from him. attendance is not mandatory but as long as you go to class and take notes there is no reason you should fail.
Hilarious. Tells stories that seem random, yet perfectly illustrate his points. My only problem is that he said the final exam would be lecture-only, so I didn't study the textbook, and, lo and behold, half of the questions dropped my average a full letter grade. Fun class though!
Very fun class, 3 tests but they are hard.
Jay is probably one of the most enthusiastic professors I've had to date. He enjoys what he does with a passion, which is hard to see in professors that have huge lecture classes. His stories are somewhat off-beat and random and it seems as if he is going off on a tangent; however, his stories about his mother-in-law are relative to the concepts.
Absolutely hilarious! Tests are extremely easy (although that might depend on your TA). He definitely makes religion fun and interesting. I actually look forward to going to lecture!
I wonder what would happen if his mother-in-law sat down on one of his lectures. He's definitely one of the more enthusiastic professors I've had this past semester. His stories, which sometimes seem irrelevant is very helpful in getting the ideas across. There is a study guide for each exam, including the final exam and TA's holds study sessions b
This is the only class in the three semesters that I've been at UH that I love coming to! You learn alot and laugh alot too. Simply awesome!
super funny guy. you have to crack up everytime you attend his lectures.
Professor Sakashita is awesome!! I always looked forward to class :) He teaches things in a very clear manner, and the study guide & review sessions really help. Highly recommend him! :)
This guy was halarious! I looked forward to coming to class just to hear his stories! And all his pointless stories have a meaning to be learned that refer to the lesson! You cover a lot of material and the exams cover only a portion of what he tells you review....so the tests are a little tricky. But if you listen to his lectures..they stick w
I do not recommend taking this class. I have never gotten a C before and got a C in this class. The tests are exteremly hard and tricky and cover a lot of material. Be prepared to study A LOT. Sure he's entertaining, but its just useless information and silly stories that make you sit in class for longer than you need to be.
I think it's the stories that make this professor good. The stories helped me to understand the different religions and I remember the information because of the stories. And I got an A for the class. I think it's a great way to teach.
good.
I just had Professor Sakashita this past summer and I really learned alot. He makes the class interesting so it's easy to learn about the religions. I'm definitely glad I took the class! Thanks Jay!
amazingly funny. interesting stories that help better understand the subject. a must have teacher.
Professor Sakashita was extremely funny, charming, interesting and passionate about World religions. I have an entirely new respect for the subject and a new found enjoyment of studying religions. I am very grateful for having had the chance to listen to his lectures and learn from him.
Jay is the bomb! Sets the standards of "good professor" for me!!!! Now it's going to be hard taking classes from other professors who aren't as funny and interesting as him.
Probably the best class I ever had. So funny this guy. I seriously wake up and want to go to his class. Not only do you cover a lot of crazy/interesting stuff but he relates it in way that its easy to understand. Gosh wish he could teach every class I have haha... no joke..
very interesting guy with a lot of stories to tell... i've never seen a lecture where so many people came to class and it wasn't mandatory. super funny, no homework, just study for tests! Best teacher i've had so far.
Buy his notebook! If you have that, there is honestly no reason to show up. . .EVER! His tests are difficult but his curve makes them easily passable. Worth showing up to class just to hear his stories. TAKE HIS CLASS!! Awesome teacher
He tried something dif w/ the class this sem, instead of having a textbook we had a mini guide book made by him. his stories were heartwarming & fun; but if u really want to learn about the religion, might not be the best class. multiple choice tests super easy; everything taken straight from his book (except for maybe one, 4rm his lecture)
his tests are tricky.but hes super fun
Jay Sakashita is the best. I chose him because of all the good reviews Ive read of him, and im glad I did so. Hes superbly funny, easy to understand relating all his funny experiences to the lecture. Not to mention, his exams and quizes are REALLY REALLY REALLY easy too. If you want to have a cruise, easy, fun, relaxing class, take Jay. :D
very good funny teacher
the notes he hands out in the beginning of the semester is extremely helpful. when you don't attend lecture, you know exactly what was covered & when you do attend lecture you will be entertained guaranteed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this class.
Very entertaining professor. Exams are really hard! Questions are tricky and ask pretty random stuff. You need to study very well and ahead of the exam. Thank god for the curve.
Best class possible!
Must take this class, no matter what! He always has funny stories that are always relevant to what he's teaching. Loved this class! Probably THEE best professor I've ever had.
He's an awesome teacher! He does his lectures like he's just talking stories w/ the students. He does grade you on a curve which is kinda bad, but you'll learn a ton and have fun while doing so!
I'm a junior and his class was the most hilarious by far. Quite a different story on the exams. It's hard even with the review of each test was given on the syllabus. Depending on your TA, multiple choice can be tricky. Don't get too comfortable with his jokes and study hard, you'll pass even without his curving.
Jay was one of the best professors I've had so far, and I'm only a freshman. His stories are hilarious. The "textbook" he makes was only $10, but it was $20 in previous semesters. Tests are REALLY simple, despite what other commentators are saying, and I never went to his review sessions. All you need to do is study an hour or two for them.
I took his class over the summer, expecting it to be boring, since I've never rly cared for religion, but fortunately, I was wrong. His lectures were really interesting and easy to understand, and his stories and jokes were always hilarious. I also thought it was neat how he could always tie them back to the lesson. Take this class! :)
He's a guy that uses crude humor. But you can tell that he's very passionate about what he teaches, and he is very knowledgeable about his subject also. Studying for the exams are necessary, but it's not too difficult. As long as you pay attention and study, you'll be fine. It also helps to go to study sessions, depends on the tutor who's leading it
He's hilarious. Easy teacher but you should study for the exams.
ONE WORD, "ROFLCOPTER" is the only way i could describe his lectures. all my other teachers in high school, middle school, and kindergarten were never this interesting and funny.Best class ever took and P.S go to the study sessions! there not just for weird people to hang out and talk about religion.
This is THE religion class to take. All the notes for the exams are in the textbook, but it'd be a sin to skip his lectures. He has an entertaining teaching style; one that will make you eager to attend his classes. And "garranz bo barranz" you'll be telling all your little friends his wonderful jokes and stories. Your life will be so much happier.
I haven't spoken a WORD to this man and I got an A! His book is chock full of goodies you can take home and read and ACE the exam but you'll hurt a little if you skip ONE class. He has so many funny stories and really interesting relative trivia that NO ONE should miss out on. TAKE THIS CLASS! It's great!
I love him! You'll never fall asleep in his class...most of the times! He can take a joke and he has a few of his owns. Some kinda awkward but still, he's hilarious! :) Gotta love him. But don't take advantage of his kindness, he will lay down the law. His class is great! I love it! :)
funnnnnyyyy! great notebook he has put together as well.
HE WAS AWESOME!!! =) His lectures are soo funny, love it! He somehow relates the his stories to the study material every single time. His tests are easy, too. Go to the review sessions, they help a lot! His notebook that he made was very helpful. Everything was clear and easy to study. I only studied one day for each exam and got an easy A+ =)
He is HILARIOUS!!! His stories are so funny and they relate to the lectures. He's really nice and teaches straight out of the Handbook of Notes that he put together. All you have to do is highlight what he says, and that's what you study. No writing required. :)
Soooooooooo funny!!
He's 100% pure awesome! Guaranteed gonna make you want to come to class. He's a great teacher and, to top it all off, he's freaking hilarious! A definite must to get that FG, guaranteed.
yea...basically what they all said!!! v v
Sakashita is HILARIOUS! I think I literally laughed out loud during every lecture. Totally worth going to class. He likes to tell stories from his past that are very entertaining and somehow relate to the lectures. Studying for exams is a must, though, if you want to do well. I would definitely recommend taking this class is you need an FG!
Couldn't stop laughing in his class, he's like a comedian. But he goes off the topic a lot, and most of the class he talks about his personal life, so you do have to study outside of class to do well on the exams. Exams are multiple-choice but can be a little tricky. I got an A but that's because of the review sessions by an awesome TA!
hands down funniest teacher i ever had. goes off topic a lot, but the things and stories he tells are fricken hilarious. Makes you want to go class. Go to study sessions and study though if you want to do well. Other than that, I would guarantee recommend this class. Funny asian guy
The funniest prof I've ever had. He goes off topic, but usually it's to demonstrate a concept of the current religion he's covering. Study the handbook outside of class to do good in the class. He's a prof you take because you want to enjoy being in a class. So, sit down, strap in, and be ready for an awesome ride.
i LOVE him. he is one of the best professors I've ever had and however he does it he really makes the material interesting and it is easy for me to learn it. I would tell anybody to take his class and i would take it again if i could!!
One of the most likeable professors I've ever had. Always comes to class with a smile. Lectures are laugh-out-loud funny. LOTS of memorization, but the stories he tells will help you remember the material. "Textbook" costs $15, so you can't go wrong there. All multiple choice tests. Review regularly and you'll be fine. GREAT prof, good class.
He has the best examples in the entire history of teachers giving examples. Everything that he says covers every angle of a subject and there is never any confusion. He needs an award. I would highly recommend Prof. Sakashita. Even if you don?t know/like/care about religion what-so-ever, this class will still be one of your favorite classes.
Really funny! I enjoy going to class because he makes it so interesting.
He's super chill! You don't have to go to class, just make sure you get the highlighted notes! This class is an easy A if you just study his little handbook! He's fun too! Take him! You won't regret it!
TAKE THIS CLASS. Its the only class i look forward to this semester. Hes extremely helpful and keeps you laughing the whole time. He cares about all his students and loves his family. His jokes are the best(: Plus, he does cover alot of religions and goes into great detail. really easy class, just as long as you go to the lectures.
One of the best teacher's I've had here. He's a hilarious professor! He uses his humor to engage the class and make it interesting. Great professor! Very passionate and knowledgeable, and very easy going. Great class. I've had friends who sat in his class who weren't even signed up for it just to listen to him!
Exciting and fun class. His stories and lectures are unorthodox but if you pay attention to them, the connections between religion and his stories click instantly. Do the study guides he provides and the extra credit assignments and you're most def. gonna get a good grade. Class is excellent and fun!
He is HILARIOUS. You could get offended if you are religious but he does make a fair point. Just be open minded in his lectures. No quiz, no attendance, 3 major EXAMS. You have to study for EXAM but 99% of the questions are on the text book... the text book made by him. So just buy the book and study questions on the back. That's all.
Jay is insanely funny. I don't think I could go a whole class without laughing! His lectures are entertaining. No homework. The exams are multiple choice and go right along with the book. Pretty easy overall. Loved the class.
Like everyone said already, HILARIOUS! He's so funny. Makes the class fun and interesting. There are 3 exams. There is a lot of material to study. My class was early in the morning but i came anyway because i enjoyed it so much. He's really nice to talk to. He has two TA's and made his own text book to make it cheap for his students. TAKE HIM!
Jay is a fantastic professor, he made his own textbook, a small cheap $15 handbook of notes, you just listen to what he talks about in class and hi-light it. Extremely funny and entertaining professor, incorporates stories from his life with religion. Tests can be hard even though they're multiple choice, STUDY for them!
Quite possibly the funniest lecturer you will come across at Manoa. This guy brings students to class. His stories are crazy funny yet have a definite meaning to the lesson he gives. Every student should experience his lecture at least once. 3 Multiple-choice exams w/ the actual questions on back of the class notebook, so easy grade.
It's hard to fall asleep in his classes. All the lectures are awesome. No attendance or pop quizzes. Theres 3 tests that the TAs make. Study the book because the questions are all from the book. All the tests are curved and he just started giving extra credit. Most extra credit isn't worth the time. If you want an easy A take another class. If u want a fun class take this one.
Great stories lots of fun! Class is never boring. test are hard if you don't study really hard for them. I highly recommend taking this class its fun and you learn ALOT!
Great prof! Classes are always interesting, he has lots of great stories. Tests aren't super hard, but you have to study the handbook or you won't do well. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you should definitely go to class!
his stories are very interesting, he's very young at heart, just need to memorize his notes and you'll ace the tests
one of the funniest professors i've ever had at UH. i'm horrible at memorization, but his stories really helped me memorize the material. for the tests, just study the study questions and highlight what he says and there will be no reason why you shouldn't do well. TA sessions are very helpful btw (i think they play a major role in making exams)
Very interesting lecturer. His textbook is just a binding of stuff he put together & you'll need it to pass. Basically you highlight the material that he talks about & it'll be on the exam. No need to worry about the things that are in the book but didn't talk about in class. Just memorize your highlighted notes & you're good.
GREAT Professor! Very easy to follow and he makes class interesting! So much so that you won't want to miss class even though its not mandatory! I highly recommend him!
The class was never boring. A class looking foward to going to not one of those classes that you dred. A+.
Very funny. The book is the notes so just remember the highlighted stuff.
Awesome, funny teacher. Easily my favorite class. Attendance isn't mandatory, but I actually enjoyed going to his lectures. No homework, just highlight anything he talks about in your book. Do and memorize the study questions, and you'll get an easy A.
I. Loved. This. Class. Jay is very funny and makes the class very very interesting. I learned a TON about different religions, although just an overview. I'm interested in learning more. This class more than exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested.
Yes he is HILARIOUS is almost every class, BUT his exams are pretty difficult. Since he doesn't make the exams they are all about the handbook. In order to get 100% you pretty much need to memorize the handbook.
Probably the best professor at UH Manoa. You will laugh every single lecture. Attendance is not mandatory but you're gonna want to go to class anyway. All that is needed is the handbook. Everything is in that handbook and he goes over it in order. Just need to highlight. Grades are based off 3 EASY exams. Just study the definitions in the handbook
MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR hands down. His lectures are always interesting and hilarious. Makes connections to the text that no other person could ever think of. Attendance is not mandatory but I would advise going because he goes over everything that is on the test and as others have mentioned he is hilarious! So glad I took this class thank you Jay!!!
Attendance isn't totally necessary, but he's a funny guy and you'll find that you don't need to memorize every single part of the textbook. Grades are based on 3 exams which are easy if you put a few hours into studying. Class size tends to double or triple for tests.
MOST AMAZING PROFESSOR! Halarious, awesome! words cant describe. Super knowledgeable about religion and makes you want to know more. Always looked forward to class and NEVER bored
Best professor, didn't think I would like to learn about religions but it was easy to learn and actually fun. Probably the funniest teacher ever.
I took this class thinking it would be an easy A....NOT. Gotta really study the book. If you have no interest in religion like me, you might have a very hard time on the exam. like me. Its all about memorization
Really funny teacher but the tests are pretty hard
Awesome teacher, hard tests.. Better to take it with a different religion teacher if u want an A
USE THE STUDY GUIDE and attend class. Some of the phrases he says in class aren't in the study guide but are on the test. He is insanely funny tho and i enjoyed his lectures. He has a pepper next to his name so it's obvious that he rated himself on here...more than once lol
He is very funny and entertaining. The grades are based on a class curved which is not that helpful if other students are doing great and you're not.
Jay's class is funny and enjoyable. But, his tests are very hard and detailed, even if you attend every class, you need to study your butt off for his exams. He is an overall good professor and I'd recommend him since he makes it interesting.
Me and my friends loved coming to prof. Jay's class cuz he definitely gives the best lectures of all time. I didn't think the tests were tough. We got all As. Most definitely recommend this class. You'll love it!
Awesome professor! This guy is the man. I found out too that the Kaleo newspaper voted Prof. Jay the best professor last year. It's easy to see why if you take his class. But you have to study though to get an A.
Best teacher hands down. He's so funny and makes it easy to remember important info. Make sure to go to class and highlight stuff through the lecture. For the tests just reread what you highlighted. Definitely worth taking his class.
He is super funny and keeps the class interesting. I'll admit I didn't go for part of the semester because you don't actually have to, but I started to again just because his lectures are so funny. Read the book, memorize the chapters (they're short), and you will do fine.
Jay is hilarious! Hands down the funniest teacher I ever had. He has a lot of stories that go along with the textbook. Make sure to highlight and do the study guide in the back. The exams aren't super hard...but i had to work hard to finally get an A for the final. His class is worth it. You'll have many stories to share.
BEST PROFESSOR without a doubt. Take this class for an easy gen ed. His tests are not very difficult as long as you go to class. He has stories that make the class cry with laughter. TAKE TAKE TAKE!
Really great teacher with tons of humorous stories that make you want to attend lectures. There is never a dull day in his class. If you want to take religion, TAKE HIS CLASS.
If you need a FG-class, take this class!! He's a funny and great teacher. His lectures can help you on exams b/c his stories relate to the things he's teaching. I got by with cramming the day of the exam or the night before. He can go off topic but its fine. I recommend taking this class highly.
Jay is a great teacher and relates the material to real life stories. Stories can sometimes go on and on but it is definitely worth it compared to other teaching styles. Attendance isn't mandatory and the only textbook is a book of notes.
Great teacher a super funny. Attendance is not mandatory, but you'll definitely want to go to class just for the laughs. I was just sad for this class to end!
Attendance not mandatory, but best to go because he relates teachings to his own life and its easier to understand the meaning behind things. His grading is based solely on tests, but provides extra credit. Do them if you get even B's on your exams. The test's essay questions are easier than the multiple choice and the final is not cumulative.
Absolutely hilarious teacher that truly enjoys what he teaches. Very intelligent and knowledgable. I thoroughly enjoyed his class 10/10 would recommend.
Super funny, easy class, made my day all the time. Would recommend. He wrote his own text book, so everything in it is important. He gives ways to help remember all the information, like telling stories. One of the best teacher you will ever have.
His lectures lack value, as he doesn't explain the symbolism for the religions discussed in class nor will his notebook serve any purpose because a lot of outside reading is required to understand the material. Lecture's filled with his life stories that have no relation to the material. This class is a waste of time. Take REL150 from someone else.
I would disagree with the last reviewer. He's probably the one who got caught cheating on the exam or was kicked out of class. lol! I look forward to class and the amazing and incredibly funny lectures. Professor is also very understanding. He really helped me keep up with the class when I had a family emergency this year. He's great!
Fun professor. Just seriously STUDY the questions in the back of each unit. Don't rely on the curve. I messed up on my first midterm because I underestimated this class and my final grade ended up being a B. His exams aren't cumulative but make sure you prepare for them. The whole class is based off 3 exams and he only does flat grades (no + or -).
Great class, but you've got to be respectful. Professor kicked out several people from class because they were disrespecting other people. Super chill overall just study hard because A is not easy to get.
Jay is a wonderful story teller! Although his lectures were very engaging and fun he didn't really connect with his students. Help will come to you if you ask but he doesn't like to be bothered outside of class. Emails are great though! Don't underestimate tests and try your best to attend class. (not mandatory though) You wont regret!
I absolutely LOOOVE his class! Very energetic, talkative, and he tells jokes to the class everytime he's teaching. If you ask a question, he will answer it until you finally understand the concept. I never thought I'd love this class, but the way he teaches makes me want to go. Awesome, awesome, awesome!
Jay is a really funny professor, but he sometimes makes inappropriate jokes. He knows a lot about religions and gives examples that help students understand the concepts better.
All you need to pass the course is Jay's "textbook" that he wrote himself, and to come to exams. The book costs less than $20 and covers the entire course. Attendance not mandatory, but at least half the class shows up just for his stories. Most of his stories are hilarious, but he tells a few sad ones that'll make your heart sink. Amazing speaker.
Jay is a really awesome teacher. His lectures on the materials are very in depth with stories and reasoning that makes it a lot easier to understand whatever religion he is lecturing on at the moment. Hilarious guy and he cracks joke and pokes fun at all religions here and there to point out some of the ironies which keep thing interesting.
Jay is one of the best professors I've ever had. If you're not religious, don't worry. Jay will not shove religion down your throat like others might - instead, he helps you understand the reasons behind religion and why people do the things they do, and he makes it entertaining too. If you need an FG course, definitely take this professor!
GREAT TEACHER WHO IS VERY ENGAGING AND FUN! DEFINITELY GLAD THAT TO HAVE TAKEN THIS CLASS. HE IS CLEAR ON LECTURES AND HELPS YOU TO REALLY UNDERSTAND THE RELIGIONS. PLUS, HIS TEXTBOOK IS A SMALL HANDBOOK THAT HAS BULLET POINT INFORMATION THAT HE WROTE HIMSELF.
Really funny, great lectures. Still need to study for his tests but overall not too hard. Good if you want to get an FG credit done. I loved going to his class just because it was so entertaining. Would take again.
Jay does a really good job of making all world religions relatable, he'll tell wild stories that still make sense and correlate to whatever he's teaching. You don't HAVE to go, but you should, it's more than worth it.
One of my favorite professors! Lectures were easy to follow if you have the textbook, he tells you exactly what you need to know. Gives random quizzes, super easy points, can use textbook to look for answers (although you don't really need to). No Homework. Exams are easy if you study the material. Wish he taught upper division REL courses at UHM!
I am genuinely sad the semester came to an end since I probably won't ever have another class from him since this was an elective, probably one of the best professors I ever had. Only thing is, I wish there were study guides to help know exactly what to study for.
It was so worth going to class since his stories are hilarious. No homework given, and there are about five easy 2 point quizzes that he basically gives the answers to, you just need to be present for them. EXAMS ARE NOT EASY. However if you put in effort into studying and attend class, then the exams are definitely do-able.
He makes you wanna go to class, every class is filled with funny stories. He was the only teacher I've had who had the whole class clap for him on the last day of lecture. Very knowledgeable. Everything you need to know is in a mini textbook that he wrote. Exams are NOT easy, you will fail if you don't study. But curve is extremely generous.
Jay is probably the best and most funniest professor you will ever have. I am so sad that I am not in his class anymore. He tells you extremely hilarious stories and connects it to religion as an example. You have to buy the notes to help you prepare for the test which isn't that expensive. Test isn't that hard as long as you study.
he is so funny so his lectures are really interesting! the class is kinda confusing because there is so much information and he is so smart!! I failed the class because i didn't study hard enough:/
Attendance isn't really mandatory but definitely helps. He's really funny and entertaining. His book is cheap and useful. If I would've attended class more often and been there for the pop quizzes I would've gotten an A, so go to class!
If you are interested in Religions, this course would be fun to take. The professor is super funny, and makes you want to actually take the class. Just by showing up in every class, you'd already obtain half of what you needed to pass. His lectures are easy to understand, his textbook is cheap and reliable. Just the book and you'll pass.
Great teacher. Would definitely take another class from him again if I could. He is hilarious and tells the best stories. His stories help you grasp the concepts of religion. Show up to class, be attentive, and you will do well.
Everyone I know that has emailed him he has responded back fast and tries to help his students as much as possible. His exams are very hard even though they are multiple choice. 15% of your grade will be on 10 random attendance quizzes. Only one project and no homework though. Some questions not covered in book?
His jokes were a little dry at first, but he later makes your day, especially if it's your 1st class of the day. DO NOT BE FOOLED! His lectures are super chill, but if you want to get a solid B or higher, I suggest studying your butt off w/ the study guide questions in the textbook! Also, come to class to take the quizzes--very important!
He knows his stuff and lectures in a way that makes learning religion more interesting through his stories that get you to understand it better. He's strict on phones and laptops, but I didn't find myself reaching for my phone during class because he's hilarious. Go to class with his textbook, study, do the project, and you should easily pass.
GO TO CLASS. If you really want that A, you should go and listen. His lectures are fun and the exams are not too bad. Also, try not to cheat during the quizzes.
Very very very interesting class. hands down one of the best professor at UH Manoa.
Lectures are really funny. No homework. Only one book is required. GO TO CLASS OR YOU'LL FAIL. Ten random pop quizzes. HOWEVER! Mostly test based. We had 3 tests; 70% of our grade, all multiple choice. Tests were pretty tricky, not as easy as he says. I thought they would be easy but nope. No +/- grade. Deceivingly hard class :/ don't recommend.
He will be your favorite professor! He takes a mundane & seemingly boring subject & makes it highly entertaining for students. You will want to come to class each time because he really is a comedian that knows the information of the World Religions!
The things he discuss in his lectures is very life changing. He talks about funny stuff and some of his interesting lifestyle. You get to understand the means of religion studies better. Although his final exam is difficult, then you must study hard. But overall, he's a really great professor.
He is very funny and enjoys telling stories that will help us all understand better. The content is a little difficult so it's important to pay attention. I thought that his tests were hard but he is a really cool guy. Attendance is randomly checked through 10 pop "quizzes" throughout the semester, really they're only there to see who was there.
Super funny and nice guy! He lectures the whole class but likes to include in his own stories and experiences which are so funny! The exams are hard, definitely need to study for them! If you go to class and pay attention it shouldn't be too bad. He has his own textbook which is required. Based on 4 tests, pop quizzes, and a project.
The class was fun but hard for 100. It was hard to get an A but easy to get a B. Your grade comprises of 3 multiple choice exams worth 70%, 10 quizzes worth 15% and a final project worth 15%. Exams are hard (pray that his printer breaks). I would recommend if you are okay with a B or C. But if you want an A take it with a teacher who offer extra cr
One of the best courses I've ever taken. I had the lecture Monday mornings and it was a great way to start my day. If you're looking for an interesting course with a genuine, honest instructor -- this one's for you! Exams are difficult but not too bad if you attend lectures and review sessions. Don't wait to the last minute with the 5/5 project!
Wow! A very different kind of professor. Heavy doses of insights and humor each class. Exams are multiple choice type, but only difficult if you don't bother to study. Put a little time in studying and an A is not a problem. Even though I got an A for the class I actually learned things. Can't say that about some of my other classes.
Learned a lot in the class. He always crack jokes so I always like go class but get pop quiz sometimes so should always go anyways. Funny guy and teaches material well. Tests are hard if you no study and no go class but if can do that then tests are not too bad. Would take again. Study the q's in the back of the book for the tests too.
Professor Jay is a wonderful professor who genuinely cares about his students. He literally wrote the textbook you use. Buy it, use it, you'll learn a lot! Super easy as long as you try. Plenty of extra credit
Jay is honestly THE BEST TEACHER TO LEARN RELIGION FROM. No joke, except that he cracks them often during class. AND THEY HELP YOU RETAIN THE CONCEPTS. A storyteller, indeed. Also requires a handbook of notes HE WROTE ON HIS OWN and BASES HIS TESTS ON STRICTLY IT. He (and the whole class structure) is superb! Definitely a class worth attending.
This professor is hilarious. Class time is never boring. But he covers lots of material with applications of his own which help me grasp the concepts and information better.
Realy funny guy, go to class, even if you don't care because his lectures are hilarious! The class is based upon three major tests and ten random quizzes. Tests are hard but if you study from his required textbook then you will definitely pass. Very understanding, and don't wait until the last minute to do the 5 on 5 project. Take him is you can!
He's definitely passionate about his work. He takes his class very seriously. There's definitely a lot of reading and participation required. The assignments were easy for me but the tests were pretty difficult. Definitely watch all his videos and do the readings (it will help you a lot on the tests).
All the good professors can work in stories to help you understand the material better. Professor Jay is the best at it! His stories are crazy funny, but some make you teary. They all helped to make me appreciate the study topic.
Prof. Jay is great. He always tells funny, relatable stories that help students understand the material better. He does have surprise quizzes so show up to class, but you can use your notes so it's an easy A on those. Don't wait until the last minute to do the project, they give feedback to help with your grade. Tests are a little hard just study!
Professor Jay has the best stories ever that goes along with every lecture. Each class is always interesting and makes his class quite fun. Quizzes here and there. Exams are quite difficult, you have to really know your material. Everything he goes over is in the textbook you HAVE to buy. Class does not have +/-.
Really funny professor and lectures are fun too! Exams were difficult to be honest, so make sure you know your material! There are 3 exams, 10 quizzes and 1 final project.
Everyone thinks he's very funny in classes. He has random pop quizzes which really affect your grade, so make sure you attend class. There is one project which was relatively easy. He wrote his own book which was supposed to be helpful, but I don't think any of his notes or practice quizzes were helpful at all. Exams are very difficult.
This was my favorite class hands down! He has the best, most funny and inspiring stories that make you see your life in a different way. I'm a religion major because of this class.
I loved this class! The professor was funny and informative and his lectures are easy to stay engaged in. I honestly learned a lot and had a great time in this class. You have to buy the course reader and attend class because there are sometime random quizzes.
I absolutely loved his lectures and wished that he taught more classes at UH. I felt that I was fairly confident in the material but the tests are SO HARD. Every time I was shocked at how low my score was. Nevertheless I LOVED his class.
Jay was my favorite professor and I looked forward to his class every time. His lectures are amazing and he uses very clear and hilarious examples. However, I always felt blindsided by the tests and no matter if I studied or didn't study I would get the same grade. Would definitely take him again and wished he taught more at UH.
Professor Jay wrote the textbook required for the class. It was the only resource for the class, and he said it was all we needed. However, the tests were NOTHING like the material in the book, and studying did nothing to prepare for the tests. He also has pop quizzes that make attendance a must, & he just wastes lectures telling personal stories.
Jay is one of the funniest professors I've ever had. The class is tough if you don't go to class since he doesn't put his lectures online. he has his own textbook for notes which is helpful if you don't like taking notes. however, I felt unprepared when it came to tests no matter how hard I studied and my grades reflected it. He doesn't let ppl fai
Some have said professor's tests are hard. Duh. They're called tests for a reason. If you don't go to class and don't pay attention when you do go then of course the tests are tough. But why wouldn't you go? Chill class and funny lectures. I got a perfect score on the tests twice and an A for the class. Recommend!
I'm in my last semester and when I look back on all my professors, he's the best. Prof Jay is a life changing teacher. His stories are funny and moving. They make you appreciate life. Definitely Recommend!
He's hilarious! He's a story teller, so he gives a lot of easy-to-understand examples from his personal experiences. No homework... Ever. However, his exams are not easy; really study your notes before hand. Fun class. This class is NOT only for religious people, so don't get offended if he starts to speak about your own. Learn alot w/o bias.
Very interactive and fun! No phones allowed but you dont need it in his class. He keeps it interesting!!!
Wonderful professor. He integrates his own stories with the "textbook" and does a great job at keeping you focused and eager to learn. He is also a very funny guy. Make sure you attend class because there are some pop quizzes.
Hilarious & knowledgeable. I took this class to get a requirement out of the way but ended up loving it. If you have to fulfill an FG requirement, take this class. Hell, take it even if you dont have to. Ive learned more and laughed more in this class than in any other. Just make sure you attend class since he gives quizzes. tldr TAKE THIS CLASS
My favorite professor, super funny guy.
Professor Jay is so funny and so inspiring. I laughed a lot and got teary-eyed too. He really makes you look at life differently than before. He is an unforgettable teacher. Just loved this class!
There are a few gem teachers I've had and Professor Jay definitely won a spot on that list. A hilarious and wise teacher. Incorporates a lot of stories into his lectures which some say is irrelevant but it really helped me understand the content. TESTS ARE REALLY HARD, but (here's a secret) go to the study sessions. There's also a class curve.
This class seems to be just as much of a personal life teachings class as it is a regular college course. Professor uses the difficult times in life to explain the different ideas in religion. And he does it in a very funny way! There are some times when parts of the lectures are sad and quite moving, though. I look forward to this class everyday.
Funny guy! But wouldnt take this class again, by far the hardest class I have ever taken!
Super funny, makes it easy to relate religion topics to your everyday life and experiences. Show up to lecture though, he doesn't post the slides and does pop activities during the lecture that count towards your grade.
Hands down one of the best professors I've ever had! Although very lecture heavy, his lectures are worth your time and attention. Be prepared to laugh and to even cry as he tells stories to explain the concepts of the various religions. Though people may complain about exams, what you take away from this class is much more important than your grade
I respect this professor so much! He put his heart and soul into his lectures to make them meaningful and enjoyable. He had us do "fun" assignments too, like looking for religion things all around campus. Just a great class overall!
Where do I start? Jay puts up a front of being a nice and caring professor, but he is not. He curves the class grade at the end of the semester BUT only if you are deemed worthy by not missing class. Also, tests are extremely hard and no one will ever answer your emails on anything. Just don't take this class, your GPA will thank you.
Definitely one the best and life changing professors ever! If you ever get a chance to take him, please do. His lectures are like he's telling a story and he makes fun class activities. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
"Garans ball-barans" He will be your favorite professor! He takes a mundane & seemingly boring subject & makes it highly entertaining for students. You will want to come to class each time because he really is a comedian that knows the information of the World Religions. Easy and kind of fun activities too!
Funny guy. Interesting class. Easy A. He lets you take practice tests and lets you use your notes for the real exam. He makes you want to go to class to hear his stories. My favorite class!
His class was so entertaining and fun. He is generous with his grading and makes it easy to pass.
Jay is hilarious and makes the often controversial topic of religions digestible and relatable to people in every walk of life. He lectures every day and supplements with independent reading from a book he wrote (its only $20 new). the TA sometimes creates discussion boards or other extra credit opportunities. the class is fun and easy.
This guy made my day every day. It was extremely funny and used stories to demonstrate the concepts in the class. tests are a little hard but provide good resources to prepare for them. The best teacher I will ever have.
Very engaging professor on a profound subject, couldn't ask for a better professor to teach religion. Super funny and very nice. Insightful and always made the content of the lesson very easy to understand through his own metaphors and personal experiences. Best class I have ever taken!
He makes the learning material fun with his amazing stories and intellectual thinking about the different religions. I never met a teacher like this ever in my life. He's the best teachers that I have ever had. He understands students and because he was like us he understands when we can't make it to class or are having trouble at home.
Jay is a very entertaining professor! Lectures felt like comedy sketches, which honestly made it easier to learn about all these religions. His textbook is written by him, and all you have to do is bring that little book and a highlighter to class, and you'll do amazing! I was in high school during this class and I got the highest grade, beat me!!!
Amazing Lecturer. Even after switching to completely online because of Covid-19 was still incredible with his homemade videos. He really tried to make class enjoyable and keep the same high quality. Truly appreciate him. He does his best for the students. Hands-down, the best professor out there!
Best class I have ever taken. I feel like the blood of Shiva and the flesh of Christ runs through this man. He has taught me so much about perspective and culture in addition to the very significant topic of religion. I am immensely inspired and have a new outlook in life and in the world. Amen to the Buddha.
By far the most funny teacher I have had. Class is not mandatory, but if you don't go it will be hard to do well since lectures are not posted online. His tests are a lot more difficult than expected even if you do go to class. He is super funny and engaging and makes you want to go to class. It is important to take notes. All tests are open note.
I thought the class was awesome. Professor Jay brings the world of religion into the classroom through humor and first hand accounts. His ability to not only teach but to tell a story helps perpetuate the learning experience. His activities were engaging for all learning types, and his work never felt like work (that is how interesting they were).
one of the few professors to get his class excited to go to class, I always looked forward to it. definitely wasn't the easiest A, but as long as you kept up and studied you would be fine.
overall a great person, but not a great professor. he says that he understands if you have to miss class, but doesn't post the slides online. the slides don't even have anything useful on it, just pictures and titles. his stories are fun and interesting, but they distract from the lecture and take up valuable class time.
I don't think that this class needs to change. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and would take it again just to listen to Professor Jay's lectures. Keep doing what you are doing professor - you make class fun and I will always remember you because you brought great importance to our learning.
Best class taken at LCC. Goes beyond just a college class. Exams open book and notes but if you just pay attention you dont even need it.
Professor Jay is really annoying. He makes too many jokes that can be funny, but mostly just distract from the course material. He bases all of the tests on obscure information that is hard to find within the textbook/lectures. There is heavy note-taking. It is hard to learn his classes, so do not take them.
Professor Jay was fun and engaging from the very first day of instruction. His lectures are fun and interactive, he makes (funny and serious) comparisons to real life situations that students can remember and relate to, even local comparisons that Hawaii students can relate to and keeps everyone engaged. He keeps class fresh and lively.
Thank you for giving me hope that not all teachers are terrible and selfish. I just wish there were more of you because college is already hard enough and we students dont need more people to screw up our experiences.
Professor Jay explains his lessons clearly and connects it to modern times. He makes it fun and enjoyable, to the point that I am sadden that I would not be in his class anymore. He is a wonderful instructor and I am thankful to have been taught by him, as he taught me three things: His lessons, to never give up, and to keep thinking positive.
AMAZING TEACHER. Super funny, took it during COVID so had to be online. lectures up loaded so you can watch them whenever. My sister like to watch them too just because he made it so interesting! HW is pretty easy, study/have good notes on lectures& reading for the test and you'll do just fine! Minimal HW, reading, and short lectures too!LOVED JAY!
He's funny, I'll give him that, but he's one of those professors that just loves to hear himself talk. The tests are pretty hard as well, but if you do the reading, homework and look over the study guide, you'll get a solid grade. I do not recommend this class online, it was really difficult.
JAY IS MY FAVORITE! Even though there was no Zoom or in person class, I thoroughly enjoyed this class and am so sad it is ending. Jay is hilarious, his lectures are amazing, and the class is pretty easy. I never used the book but make sure to watch all of the lectures. Pick Jay if you have the chance! You won't regret it!!!
Professor Jay was really engaging, encouraging and passionate about religion and loves his job. He gave us a lot of life wisdom, aside from the subject knowledge he taught. My entire family enjoyed his lectures so much that they looked forward to me doing my homework for this class so they could listen in too. Easily the best teacher Ive ever had.
Very lively. Actually puts effort into his teaching instead of just assigning us readings to answer. Relates a lot to real world situations. The way he does things hes a good attention grabber. Very funny and understanding.
What distinguishes Professor Jay from other teachers I've had is that despite his course being asynchronous, he still has the ability to create engaging and even funny lecture videos. His sense of humor and his ability to make things relatable to us students is something I haven't seen with any other professorand I am very appreciative of that.
Nice, funny, and caring. It really isn't an easy A class, you have to put in work. Your grade mainly reflects exam scores, and the tests aren't easy. Three exams total and they're worth 20% each. His TA grades pretty much everything, including the final project (worth 15%), and gives no feedback. If you want an easy A don't take this course.
Professor Jay was funny and used his own lecture which was engaging. I felt as though this class really taught me a lot about religions. There are roughly 15 challenges, which served as 'quizzes' which were easy enough to do. But exams are quite difficult and I suggest you take good notes to get an A! TA was ok, graded hard for the extra credit.
Professor Jay class was insightful. He made religion fun to learn, but content heavy in which you have to read his textbook and watch lengthy videos. Must take good notes on both in order to do well on exams. There is also a project which was easy. Lastly, TA was unclear about the grading on the extra credit and it felt unfair, so put effort in it.
Makes religion very interesting and fun to learn. Very understanding of outside problems that may affect your work. The content and work are engaging.
Light homework load, but the tests are pretty brutal sometimes. Professor Jay is a hilarious professor to learn from, and he manages to make learning about religion a fun and manageable task. Make sure you study well for each test, and youll be fine. Dont miss a test either, because he probably wont let you retake it.
Professor Jay is HILARIOUS. He makes his lectures fun and is not afraid to be himself. He is very caring and does not want to fail anyone. However make sure to take notes and read the textbook because the exams will be based entirely on it. The exams themselves can be a bit confusing, but with notes you'll get by just fine.
I was very lucky to be able to take one of his courses. His lectures were very engaging and he explains everything in detail. Plus, he's funny. The work is not hard, you just have to make sure to do the readings and watch lectures. He will usually upload assignments at the beginning of the week and give a reasonable deadline.
Not a good class to take in my opinion. No opportunity to discuss the material learned. Too many questions on the exam. Not enough time to complete it. Awful experience.
I am grateful that I had this class. The professor is so understanding towards his students. He never forgets to tell us to take care and never beat ourselves with our academics. His class and wisdom never failed to motivate me to try and do well with my academics. The prof may not know it, but he made such a significant impact on me as a student.
Took this prof's WI online class in the summer. You can tell he puts in a lot of effort to make the class interesting and connected to society. I liked the feedback he gave to all my papers. He gave good pointers and always was encouraging. He lets you revise your papers to earn a higher grade. I feel like I learned a lot and had a good time too.
In the beginning, I was stressing about taking this class because this was not my first choice. But once we started the course. I have learned this professor is a great guy, he teaches well, very knowledgeable in the subject, and is hilarious. I highly recommend taking one of his courses!!
