She is an amazing professor for this course, and she WILL help if you ask. There are a lot of discussion boards, with 2 replies each, but that's like 99% of the course, and its not bad. Highly recommend taking her.

Professor Dixon is a very supportive and caring educator who clearly cares about what she does.The majority of the assignments you will complete are discussion posts with two replies required for each one. However, the course material was very easy and very helpful for building/updating your professional profile.

The class is very easy and she doesn't ask too much. Just the required discussion posts and a few events to attend. She also gives extra credit which is great! Very approachable too if you have any questions.

This class covers lots of lecture slides which I felt Ms. Dixson explains very well. She was a great teacher and very engaging with the class. participation was expected of students. Overall if you simply did the work, listened, and turned in everything on time you would make a good grade. Ms. Dixson is very understanding and helpful.

She is a great instructor. BUSI1200 is an easy class, you just have to attend class because it is mandatory, do assignments and you'll get A easily.

The professor did good in giving us the right information to succeed in the business world. We learned a lot about internships, professionalism, and job opportunities. We also went to job fairs to real life experience.

Ask for help if you're not able to understand the course especially the information about real input assessments needed to be completed and used for future references.

Although attendance is a requirement, the class is usually around 30 minutes long. The homework and discussion board takes less than an hour per week, and very easy to get an A in the class. The content the guest speakers bring is helpful for a first-year business student, but for sophomores and above, it may feel like a waste of time.

Classes are fun and will actually help you in the real world.

This class is very beneficial to any classification level. I am a junior taking this class, and it seems like a freshman-level class. But, fortunately, the professor asks the students what they want to see, and if you answer honestly, she'll have people present you with the information needed or the steps to take to access that information.

Professor Dixon was amazing, her lectures were very interesting, deep and informative. Her way to explain was authentic. She's very good at presenting. Besides, the assignments provided were extensive, which makes this course even more rewarding. I would definitely recommend taking this course with her, anyone can learn so many things with her!

My Business professor was spot on. Short but clear lectures. Explained all the assignments well. Reflected her experience in almost all the lectures, which helped us a lot. She talks to the point, something I really like about her. She's fun.

I think Professor Dixson is an excellent choice if you want a chill professor who makes assignments simple. Oftentimes, if you just answer questions in class, you can leave earlier. There are no real tests; she gets to the point, and the assignments are common sense. Overall, I think she is one of our best options for business courses.

The class itself is very easy. It's an 8-week course class so attendance does matter, but don't fret because depending on the day, the class would wrap up in 20 minutes. The work isn't hard; it's just basically career readiness. One issue I had personally was that she doesn't respond to emails. So if you ever have an issue, talk to her in person!

I didn't know this course existed until my senior year. Furthermore, she did give me solid insights in resume writing, etc. that I have used in for recruiting and job research. However, this course is 100% catered toward incoming freshman and sophomores.

she is very informative and descriptive on answering questions that students may have no knowledge on, and she was very respectful and patient about it. she is also very understanding to when it comes to students wanting to know additional information about resources on campus and what it takes to be ahead of the curb in taking on those resources.

Good professor. Learned a lot of valuable skills pertaining to the real world. I feel a lot more confident about handling career-based events because of this class, and I have even taught some of my close friends how to navigate things like resumes, career fairs, and more. Attendance is graded, and you'll have to attend some career fairs yourself.

If you can handle some disorganization and stay proactive, it's worth it. Not perfect, but definitely passionate. Would recommend with caution, especially if you're good at managing your own time.

My BUSI1200 class with Professor Dixon was great. The class itself was very easy as long as you participated, what you get out of the class depends on how much effort you are willing to put into it. You can tell she actually wants you to succeed and is very communicative even outside of class hours.

Did not drag lectures longer than they needed to be. Attendance is mandatory however multiple times the lecture was short so we got out of class a little early fairly often. fairly easy grader just show up and do the work and you'll get an A.

I think Professor Dixon was a very good teacher she kept me very engaged and didn't give us too many assignments. Everything we did was reasonable and will help us in the future. It was great having someone look out for us like she did.

Dixon was incredibly understanding and encouraged our learning by having us participate in events held by UNT. A lot of what I learned can be applied to the real world which is good to keep in mind. You do have to attend the classes for attendance but sometimes she released us early. The assignments/home works are very doable, nothing crazy hard.

She was professional from day one never changed tempo. Was very matter of fact-she said what was necessary pertaining to upcoming assignments & was very honest about tardiness and/or missed days. Also, she remained in communication with students for any date changes, class cancellations as well as maintained a professional level of corespondents.

A really great teacher overall, if I'm being quite frank.

My professor was really cool, and the class itself wasn't hard at all. The only thing that made it challenging was the mandatory dinner we had to attend for a big part of the grade. It wasn't that the work was difficult, it's just that not everyone can easily make it to a dinner like that, and that part felt a little stressful.

She was great, but she would just cancel class alot.

This was supposed to be an easy class. She doesn't grade on time. She doesn't reply to emails. Gives you a lot of extra credit; you have to attend career fairs or meetings. But she posts an hour before the program starts, so if you live outside Denton, it's useless.

Very straight-forward about the class from the jump. Gives advice based on experience, does not sugarcoat outcomes, and easy to get in contact with.

This professor was super laid back and didn't do to much in class. She was super nice and always had a great lesson plan. Opens assignments weeks in advance just make sure you get them done nothing will be re opened.

Professor Dixon was a pretty good professor.She offered wonderful presentations and guest speakers that helped give me a better understanding of the importance of starting early. My only complaint is that there is a word count for discussions which I wasn't a fan of as it felt like I had to yap.

All you have to do is show up for and class pay attention , and don't miss any assignments because your grade will stay as is.

Well, class was often canceled lol, or we would have a guest speaker so the professor was typically not there. She was chill when she was there so I'd say she was a pretty good professor to have.

She's a pretty straight forward professor who doesn't assign anything hard. As long as you attend the lecture and do what's assigned you should be good. Nothing that takes a really long time.

A pretty alright course. 1 Hour, teaches you how to behave in business. Take this prof. if required. +Coursework is easy. Some of it is actually graded but a majority is completion. +There is plenty of extra credit. -Half the extra credit is only announced a few hours before whatever you need to do ends. -Grades themselves are posted last-minute.

Be ready to work and show up to class. Other than that you will be ok. She is very straight forward, all you have to do is listen and do the work.

Professor Dixon has shown throughout the the course that she is knowledgeable in her teachings time and time again. She advocates throughout class about social networking while providing examples, and reasonings. The class it's self is very easy and very social.
