Its a great class, fun and relavant material and Jean makes the class and questions fun. Just don't get stuck in her Monday labs! 45% of your mark comes from Excel assignments that are outlined step by step for you. You have to actually go to the lectures if you want a complete set of notes, no textbook. Pick a later lab time in the week, as she tends to run behind on the lectures.

While a nice, jolly person, I really regret having her as a teacher. While I recognize that others do like her teaching style, I found her far too frenetic and scattered to be of any use. This is compounded by having no actual textbook, only course notes to fill in - a problem when she glosses over important details and dwells on the obvious.

This class is very laid back, although if stats from 178 isn't your thing, I would suggest avoiding it, since 2 of the 3 assignments are stats assignments.
