M. Aubert claire et précis, dynamique et toujours disponible, excellent communicateur. Mais le cours semble moins intéressant, au plutôt très ennuyant car il consiste plus sur la théorie et non pas la pratique. Mais en général tous c?est bien passé et on a eu une valeur ajoutée sur la GRH.

Les cours sont ennuyant car A ne fait que lire ses diapos (ce qu'on peut aussi bien faire chez soi). Meme si on écoute et qu'on porte tres attention, les exams sont remplis de questions pièges. Tout a fait frustrant même si A a un certain charme et sens de l'humour

JFA est un bon prof. J'ai trouvé que l'examen de mi-session était juste. Les questions étaient reliées à la matière, évidamment, il fallait bien se préparer. Il y avait plusieurs concepts à mémoriser mais il faut tout d'abord comprendre pour bien réussir. Je ne crois pas qu'il y a des pièges dans ses examens. Il donne beaucoup d'exemples ce qui nou

Super nice and down to earth prof. You HAVE to memorize the textbook homework questions to do well in this class though. He gives 10 marks bonuses on his evaluations (50% midterm, 50% exam). A 50% midterm might seem intimidating but just know your stuff. I found the class to be really boring however, almost slept every time. :P

Au début, vous allez croire que c'est le meilleur prof qui excite. Par contre, lorsque vous arrivez aux exams, votre opinion changera complètement. Il dit que ses questions sont logiques, mais Il s'attend à ce que vous retranscrirez mot par mot ses diapos. De plus, il nous a dit de ne pas apprendre quelque chose, et c'était 20% de son exam final!!

Very hard class. Midterm average was 30%. He was lenient to increase marks. The midterm was bell curved and he personally upgrading one of my papers 12%. The final was very easy due to the difficulty of the midterm. Need textbook and need to study.

Really funny and great guy. Accent sometimes takes away from the lecture, but he's really empathetic with the class and tries his best to make sure we get good marks!

Really great prof! You can tell he likes teaching and even though he has an accent, he tries his very best to deliver the material! Tests are a bit tricky but he gives the material. Very lenient with marks. I RECOMMEND taking his class over other profs!!!

The class is very interesting. He is very passionate about what he is teaching and wants nothing but the best for his students. It is so important to answer the questions as homework, read the textbook and start studying early! I found that most questions on the exam were about little concepts that needed to be explained in great detail.

One of the best profs at Telfer!! He really takes pride in his teaching and wants his students to do well. He clearly mentions what will be on the midterms and final, and his slides are really useful. If you go to his class you will get a good mark. This class has a heavy load but taking it with Aubert will be worth it!!!

Professor Aubert really lights up the room when he teaches. He has a great passion for teaching and even loves to learn new things himself on daily basis. He is an extremely hard worker and always puts the students' best interests first. He made ADM1300 into a class that I loved! If you get to take the class with him, be sure to do so!

Professor Aubert was one of my favorite teachers. He was always interesting and cared about the topics that he conveyed to us in class, and was always available when I needed assistance. He is knowledgeable about his course material and made my first management course very memorable and put me on the right track in my school career.

Best prof yet of 2 years at Telfer. You can tell that he loves to teach, jokes and is very witty, lots of interaction with the students in class. In class slides sometimes different than those on BBL so make sure you show up and take notes. Very straight forward, always stays behind to answer any questions. Give this guy a raise Alan Rock!

Very interesting lecturer but pretty hard midterm and very hard final exam, final exam format was partA about memorizing the terms and lots of "qui suis-je" with no multiple choice options(they are hard, you had to know abbreviations like "PEB", "JIT", "CUP", partB case study(2pages long) and part C about the chapters15&16 paper about publicity

Had this teacher for a 7-10 class and he managed to keep me awake. Hes a funny guy who actually knows what he's teaching. If you do the questions after each chapter you'll be good for the midterm. The DGD papers are long and beware of the first assignment because he expects everyone to fail. However, he is very clear on what to expect on exam.

Class is fun and you'd expect the tests to be easy, but its hell. Im a straight A student an im not sure I passed the final exam, will know soon.

Read your questions carefully; because sometimes the teacher will try to trick you. Formulates the question in a way that a student who knows his marketing stuff could still miss the questions because of confusion. Didn't buy the book, you just need it for the tests.

Probably one of the best prof in Telfer. M. Aubert really cares for his students and is willing to take extra time to help them. He is also a great orator, making his classes interesting. Group project is really long so make sure to start as early as possible. The final was really challenging compared to the midterm but not impossible.

It was a tough class, but he made it fun and accessible for everyone to understand. His classes were interactive and he presented the information in a way that was easy to work with. Caution on the case studies, he's super strict on the guidelines and finding the correct choices.

Very good and patient with all the students. Very good lectures. Gives mostly all the content to study before each exam. Barely impossible to fail if you don't skip the class. BTW synonyms and examples are accepted as good answers... if it make sense!

Dedicated and caring person. Awesome prof! I've learned so much about business management!! Got a B average with 22 hours of work a week and 4 other courses at a normal study pace.. Apparently some "students" received a 10% grade for their exams ... Attending and/or mature students with normal brain cells can easily get good grades. Keep smiling :)

His lectures are really interesting, and he is very good at explaining and giving examples! There are 2 midterms, 2 projects, 2 presentations and a final, so we will have to work hard, but it pays off. Grading criteria is clear, which makes it easy to justify the grade that you got. He is also very accessible and a very nice person!

Just finished the final exam. Everything was 100% exactly like the final exam review. Questions was cristal clear. Project was easy but takes time. Average is high, don't be fooled by the losers who shares bad feelings or negative comments online, those acward clowns should criticize themselves for failing a university course! Challenging and inspiring. Had him last year. Links science, business, politics, sociology, and makes sense of it all. After his class, I don't read newspaper the same way. Some found him too demanding. I enjoyed it and learned a lot.

He's a great prof. I really admire the fact that he goes out of his way to learn peoples names, I think that makes a huge difference as a student to feel like you are noticed. I also like how many examples he gives for all of the material he teaches. It really helps to better understand the concepts covered in class.

Extremely good at telling jokes during the lecture so that nobody will think his class is boring. The prof has a really good attitude towards every student, and you will realise that he is a nice person when he walks into the classroom with a big smile. I strongly recommend this prof if you think school is boring.

Hello folks ! Il faut vraiment assister à tous les cours, être présent en classe. Si on t'offre des anciens examens tu vas avoir un echec à ton examen parce que les profs changent leurs examens d'une session à l'autre. Tu seras obligé d'étudier pour réussir le cours !

Great professor. He truly cares about his students. I really enjoyed his class because he clearly loves teaching and marketing. He has some great stories to share. If you need help, go to his office hours where he is incredibly helpful and understanding. A great professor!!

This is the only prof that I have had that gives detailed examples of the course content. He is literally the textbook (a simplified one) Don't skip classes. Homework can be a lot but it's perfect practice for midterm and finals(guaranteed). Would have gotten an A+ but I am fund of tiny mistakes and laziness. :D I highly recommend him.

Final grades average was 84% on Brightspace. One of the best prof at telfer, trust me. I genuinely don't understand how people can fail his classes . Ask someone in person about him to confirm. Tough grader maybe and but approachable, kind and genuine gentlemen when it's time to honestly work with his colleagues and students.

He's one of the only people in the world who cares about what he does, but he really cares. He knows it backwards and forwards. He is didactic about what he considers an excellent manager, but if you want to know what business administration is, there is no one else you should go to. He's a wonderful man and an exceptional teacher.

JFA is a good teacher, he made sense out of something that could have been made painful by other teachers. He has a good sense of humor and will joke around with the class. He doesn't give you a free pass, but he presents the material in a way that makes it easy if you are willing to put in the effort to understand it. Would recommend

Ive had this professor twice now and I can say that I enjoyed his in-person class so much more than his online class. The exam questions are pretty straight forward, but you need to memorize the notes and the book to do well. He is good at answering questions and is very nice. His lectures are pretty entertaining.

He managed to make the basics of management really fun to learn! Not only does he explain very well, but he also has lots of passion for what he's teaching. You do need to memorize the content of his lectures & the textbook for the exams, though.

Great and funny teacher

His class are very interesting. He know really well his content and gives really good examples. You need to attend his class because he often gives tricks for the exam, if you listen in class and you study, you cans easily get an A+. I recommend him to everyone, he marked positively my first year.

Comme dans tous les cours il y a du plagiat, mais plusieurs étudiants se font prendre et finissent avec zéro. Zéro dans le cours, zéro dans leur tête, zéro dans vie !!!

Read the syllabus then do your readings and come prepared to class, tests and exams and you'll succeed. Prof always gives hints, always willing to help, always open to share infos about how to study for the tests and exams. Follow up on exams possible is you ask. Recordings with examples are available if you miss a class. What you need more ?

Le prof est excellent et drole. J'ai aime quand il donnait une semaine pour traiter certains devoirs, cette flexibilite m'arrangeait. Cependant, le manuel est TROP volumineux et ca fait TROP d'informations a retenir pour les tests. C'etait TREEEES penible ! J'y ai passe trop d'heures ... alors qu'il y avait aussi d'autres cours dans le programme.

EXCELLENT malgré le programme lourd, partage ses expériences et porte de l'attention aux étudiants. Parfait pour Telfer

Hes an ok teacher! Hes very very loved by his students and is very funny during class! He makes jokes and interacts with his students which makes the lecture interesting and awakening. The only bad things i could say is he wastes a lot of time during lectures answering questions (1.5 hours for the first 5 classes on just talking). He grades hard.

Really funny, pretty good at going over the material but did waste LOTS of time answering pointless questions. Exams were pretty much all MCQ which harder than it seems. A good resume of all the notes to study goes a very long way in this class. Definitely would still be my number choice to take the class again.

I found this class to be difficult but lectures were recorded I was always able to go back and rewatch lectures. 3 tests, 1 midterm, 1 final. The tests were difficult but we were given a week to complete them. Prof JF was always helpful and even bumped up my grade a couple times. TA was really bad and never showed up but not the profs fault.

One of the best teachers I had. Even if a lot of people told me he's tough in this class I still took it and yes it was hard but I loved his classes! He's so passionate, funny and gives you the motivation to study for his classes. Would highly recommend and would keep taking him.

Just FYI, he talks super fast, sometimes a little unclear, and there are a lot of body mouvements. For a two and a half hour it could be distracting. At the end of each class, I don't think i'm still getting what he's saying. I think im not the only one.

FYI the prof is walking and moving while he's teaching! Also, he talks using words and technologies to support his class. I think he's human! Seriously, he's one of the best teachers in uOttawa. Make sure to show up in class, tests are aligned with the actual content covered in class.

I took ADM1500 as an elective and I'm so happy with my decision! He's a really interesting prof and did his best to engage with students during lectures despite the online format. His exams were fair and related to the content seen in class. He also ties the materials with real-life and recent examples. I'd love to take another class with him!

I went online and I've found documents apparently useful for the tests and the exams and the case studies. Unfortunately, I was wrong and got a F. Because it is academic fraud. Je suis vraiment une belle tarte!

Best professor ever - I had the chance of having him last semester. Amazing at making the course content captivating and interesting while providing relevant examples. Makes class fun. Very organized and cares a lot about his students. The exams weren't always easy, but as long as you pay attention in class and study you will succeed! :)

This teacher is really nice. His teaching skills r wonderful. Even tho the classes were amazing, his tests r really hard. During tests, we cannot go back to questions we already submitted/answered, there are no homework and even tho we asked a practice for the final he didn't want to give one. Kinda hard to get a A+ if u cannot practice.

Professor Aubert is an amazing professor who will give you guidance from the very start of the term in order to be successful in his course. If you read the textbook and attend the lectures to ask questions, you will do very well in his course. Definitely one of the best HR professors you will get

To everyone complaining about JFA failing people using AI, YOU are the problem. His classes are nothing too crazy unlike all the other reviews tend to make it seem. Don't be lazy and you'll get a B at worst.

Honestly I had a great experience with this prof and OBVIOUSLY he is going to fail if you cheated...He mentioned no AI and no outside source before the exam and in the instructions so why are people surprised? Online exams are made so you can take your time ( we had 3 days to do it!) not to copy and paste from chat gpt.

A really great prof who loves his students and business. Everyone loves his lectures and he's really fun to talk to outside of class. The only thing is you have to memorize the material for the exams, even if he said we wouldn't have too.

Prof JFA is a good prof for the lectures.He is entertaining and he makes the lectures enjoyable.He puts little effort outside of class. Tests and feedback take forever to grade.He didn't even show up for the mid term, left it all to the TAs to organize which was chaotic. He also doesn't provide any practice material.Overall the class was enjoyable

JFA is the best teacher I've had this semester, his lectures are entertaining and he's genuinely a good prof/person. He actually knows how to speak, which shouldn't be surprising but with how some profs have the ability to put a whole lecture hall to sleep it's a blessing. the exams are DIABOLICAL so attending classes is damn near mandatory.

He's not bad at all! He tries his best to make sure that lectures are entertaining. He knows his material inside out and is very understandable and engaging. His midterms aren't too bad either, just make sure you know most material. He does give hints as to what is on the exams during lectures and mentions important info during lectures so attend.

This professor is one of the best I've had. He makes classes engaging, even with less exciting material. Attend every class—if he emphasizes something, it'll be on the exam. Skip the textbook; focus on lectures and detailed notes. Review regularly, memorize key models, and you'll do well. He's passionate, and dedicated to student success.

Very nice and engaging prof and good lectures as well! Make sure to study for the class, even if he says not too! Your DGDs aren't optional and have group work as well. Don't buy the textbook, it's not worth it, just take notes in class.

He's honestly great. When he noticed that the class was not doing well after the first midterm, he gave us more information on the second midterm and final. He helped highlight the relevant parts for the second midterm and final. Gives lots of relevant examples and info outside of the slide notes. Listens to feedback on his TA.

I liked the course. The prof was good and smooth. I'm using what I've learned in my professional day to day activities.

I was bonobo chimpanzee who no tried and just use AI. Mister JFA is very smart man but I is very stupid so I used AI. I have learned that AI is why I fail so please take if you want to learn how to think for self. I rate well for learning!

I had a good experience with Mr. JFA. I'm Chinese and I enjoyed the course even if French is my 5th language. He takes the time to share his knowledge and gives a lot of practical examples.

Do NOT us AI. He's a very good prof you can tell he loves teaching make sure you pay attention for hints. Be at all your DGD's.
