Explains things very well and is helpful when you have questions.
She's bootylicious.....
AWESOME
She is AWESOME. She makes calc easy by explaining everything! She is very kind, understanding, and fair. She's also pretty cute. (...And I think she knows it!) ;-)
she doesn't waste time; she only tells you the things you need to know. is very helpful if you have questions on the material.
She is an awesome teacher and always lets you out of class early. If there is something you don't understand, just ask and she will show you about 5 different ways to do it.
Mrs. Lilly rocks! She's such a good teacher in that she makes learning Calculus clear and fairly easy. Always stays after class to answer questions. Study off of old exams, she doesn't change them much from year to year.

Good teacher; only tells you the stuff you need to know; good at explaining concepts
She's easy and she's hot
take this prof. you will pass Calc for sure!
very interested in helping the students, was available outside class for tutoring. really nice
AWESOME!! HOT!! EASY!! GET OUT EARLY EVERYDAY!! Need I say more?
Easy! Puts calculus in easy-to-understand terms; lets you out early every day; very willing to help and answer questions. Study old tests and you got an easy A.
She is really helpful and easy. She cancels classes all the time and she is really carefree about turning homework. Her tests aren't bad either
SUPER friendly and helpful, I DID NOT HAVE OLD TESTS. SHE took the time and helped me lot and I got a A, she prepared me well for calc II
Great teacher. Unlike some of the posts, we didn't leave early or get class cancelled often, but she was an amazing teacher. I hated math before her class but she was so good at pointing out concepts and important parts that it was all understandabe!
From comparing my experience with Lilly with other students in Calc I under different instructors, this is the instuctor to take.
she doesn't use the correct terminology and sometimes confuses me with theorems and concepts that shouldn't be hard. overall, easy teacher, lets you out early, fair grader, always gives good examples before assigning homework. prof worth taking!
She was great, and she did let my class early everyday. Some times an hour early. I took a semester of calc in high school and so far everything is review. She's always glad to help, although her office hours are somewhat limited. But then there's always that math lab thing.
She is awesome! She really makes calculus easy. If you are having any troubles at all you can just go in during office hours and she'll explain things to you. She always makes you feel like you really are smart. Her tests aren't bad and the homework definitely boosts your grade.
Easy because I had old homework and tests! Get that from someone and this class will be a breeze. Hard to stay awake but, she makes everything easy to understand. Def. the best Calc teacher on campus!
She wants everyone to get A's, and will help you to get there. Not to mention shes hot and lets class out early every day.
Lilly is awesome! She is the best math teacher I have had in my entire life. She could probably teach calc to a first grader. She is MORE than willing to help during office hours, too. I also think she's hot, so definitely take her for calc!
I love this woman. She helps whenever you need it and as long as you but some effort in her class, you're golden
easiest math class. do your homework and take the tests and you will be fine.
AWESOME TEACHER! enough said...take Lilly. I had never taken Calc, and yet I was able to grasp almost everything, and what I didn't, she was more than willing to help!
She's really easy.. Though if you have had calc, get ready to do things the hard way for a while. The only problem I had w/ her was when she said: "Don't introduce yourself to me.. I probably won't remember your name." Despite that, she is available for help and wants you to do well. don't expect her to care about you, except for in calc class.

Doesn't care who you are, but the class is easy and she teaches so you can get an easy A. If you take calc do it with Lilly
I had never had Calc or even pre-cal before this class, and I ended up with an A going into the final. She is more than willing to help and teaches Calc in the simplest way possible. If you have to take Calc, take it with Lilly because some of the other Calc teachers are not very good and assume you know basically everything (from what I hear).
Lilly is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. After taking calculus as a senior in high school and struggling in it a lot, this class was a breeze. Tests are pretty easy if you just do the homework and then study over notes and homework. Definitely take Lilly if you have to take calculus.
Lilly is by far the best college professor I've ever had in my college career. She explains even the most complicated calculus problems in a very easy way so everyone can understand and do the problems on their own. We didn't even use the book to learn, just for homework. She is also very helpful. If you have to take Calculus I, take her!
i don't remember every introducing myself, but she knew my name. always available for help, explained things clearly, didn't make it hard by trying to make herself sound smart like other math profs. class got out early alot. she was really pregnant when i had her a couple years ago, but was still the best teacher.

Her Calculus lectures were very monotonous and non-student-oriented. However, she is very helpful and explains problems very well. I started with a C+ in the class, but ended up with a B+ in the end. Take her! BEST CALC 1 TEACHER AT CREIGHTON!
Lily is the best math teacher I have ever had. She keeps things clear in class, is willing to help at all times, and is really nice on top of it all (plus we never had a class that lasted the whole time) take her!
Greatest teacher, she is very helpful and clear. take her!!
She makes calculus so simple. I never had it before, but I always understood it the second she explained it. Best calc teacher!
I really hated this class but ended up getting an A so I can't really complain. I would have to recommend Lilly for anyone who has to take calculus.
She is a really nice lady that sure knows how to teach, not to mention she has a great body and a great smile!
great teacher and easy exams
very good calc teacher! explains everything very clearly. the tests are fairly easy. It's very doable to get an A because of the online homework and take home quizzes. TAKE HER!!!
Lilly is very clear and easy to understand. She's really laidback. She will usually let you know what will be on the test and what is important to know. She pretty much told us exactly what would be on the final! And we always got out early!!!
She is an awesome professor. You should definitely take her especially if you've never had any calculus before. He homework, quiz, and tests are from notes and the book. Very chill and funny, but when she's giving material its focus time. Ask questions, she doesn't make you feel stupid.
Great teacher if you've never had calculus. Very helpful and she tries to make things as easy as possible. She grades the tests fairly easy because she wants you to pass. Basically told us exactly what was on the final. TAKE HER!
I would definitely recommend Lilly for Calc I. I have never taken calculus before and she made it very easy to understand. She is a great teacher and she is very willing to help her students. Tests are easy and she gives you all of the information you need for the final. She was definitely the best math teacher I have ever had!
She makes it clear and is very willing to answer any questions.
very helpful, and always willing to answer questions, homework is harder than the test and if you dont know how to do questions on the homework stay after class and she will work through them with you, awesome and high energy lady
Really nice lady. She tends to go kind of fast, but that's not really a problem. I emailed her once and never got a response. She helps after class and during her office hours. In conclusion take her class. You'll learn Calculus!
She really knows what she is talking about! What makes her a great teacher is she tells you exactly what you need to know and cuts out the BS. SHe cares about her students and will help you no matter what! The HW is harder than the tests, so if you get through that- you're golden!
BEST. MATH. TEACHER. EVER.
She flies through the lessons. It's good if you've had some Calc before. I was never comfortable asking questions in her class, though. She's nice enough and knows that what she's teaching is difficult. Just be prepared to study a lot outside of class.
Yes the material is hard, but if you're looking for an easy class you shouldn't take calc anyway. Dr. Lilly is one of the best math teachers ever. Explains everything crystal clear, will always answer any questions you have, lets class out early, and the tests are a lot easier than the homework. Study a few hours a week and you'll be fine.
If you already know the Calculus take her because she has no interest in teaching it to you.
Dr. Lilly is a good professor. She does a great job explaining the concepts and is open to helping you. The class is difficult, but she helps to make it easier.
My favorite teacher at Creighton. Very willing and helpful at all times. Fields any and all questions. Answers e-mails, too. Has a good sense of humor. Overall just a GREAT teacher. Better than any/all math teachers at Creighton. 10 out of 10!
Really amazing professor. Crystal clear, funny, and to-the-point. But the textbook (Blank and Krantz) was AWFUL. I think there was at least one major error on every homework assignment. So don't freak out if you can't get your answers to match the back of the book.
She makes night class enjoyable and is very straight to the point. She's got a fun attitude and wants you to understand.
Really nice and really helpful. She wants you to understand and wants you to do well on the tests. She's got some sass to her so watch out!! Take her for Calc 1.
She gives examples that seem easy while in class but when you're on your own, doing hw, it's almost impossible. She's lazy and she admits it. Takes too many points off for minor mistakes. Tests can be tricky. Class is a pain. Notes are simplified by so much it doesn't help you in the long run. You're screwed for the finals.
Overall she is a decent professor. Her tests aren't extremely hard. I kind of slacked off, so I was kicking myself at the end. Honestly if you study and do the homework, her tests aren't bad, just a little tricky. However, the stupid final the whole math department makes is impossible and no one can pass it. So good luck.
Professor Lilly is great!! The textbook is worthless to learn from, but Lilly teaches you everything you need to know through in class examples. Study hard before the tests, always do homework, and go see Lilly if you have any problems and you'll be okay!!
She's the best Calculus I teacher you can take so I'd say go for her. She sort of blows through class really quick though and if you haven't taken Calc before, I bet it would be tough. I have though and it isn't too hard or too much work. She is very helpful outside of class, just not great at explaining everything in class. Overall, decent quality
Try to take Lily for Calculus! She is definitely the easiest Calculus teacher at Creighton. However, it is a difficult class and make sure to ask her questions, as she is very helpful. Make sure to do the homework as it really helps your grade. The final is difficult, so be sure to study in advance.
She is good at explaining but moves very fast in lecture, so it was hard to keep up at times. If you see her in office hours, she is very helpful. She is the best calc professor so I would take her.
Lilly is an excellent calculus teacher. She does a great job of explaining things, and what you miss during lecture you can ask about after class and during her office hours (go early though as she has lots of students there). If you don't procrastinate on homework and make sure to study for tests you'll do well.
Lilly is an excellent teacher. Never took calculus before and took this class with advanced chem, got an A no problem. Because of her teaching, rocked the department final as well. Keep up with the homework and ask for help when you need it and you got this class made.
If you struggle with math, I strongly recommend you take Prof. Lily. She moves quickly and talk the entire time, but it's not bad at all. She goes through SO MANY EXAMPLE and is always open to helping students when needed. Great woman! And she is funny, so class is not bad at all.
Professor Lilly is very clear in lecture. I had no background in Calculas and I learned a lot from her. She is a very good person and a semi-easy grader. When I took the class she had 4 tests and a final. Only the Final was difficult for me.
I was dreading Calculus as I had no background in it coming in. Professor Lilly made it bearable, and I learned a ton! Compared to what I've heard of other Calc teachers she is the clear cut best! Take her!
MUST TAKE! By far the most helpful professor I've encountered at Creighton. She didn't mess around during class. She taught what she needed to teach for the day and let us out, sometimes even 30 minutes early. She's prone to give back points on homework if you talk to her about it too.
Lilly is the best! Her lectures are extremely quick and to the point! Her tests are easy if you study but be careful the homework is worth a lot of points!
Lilly is the BOMB. The way she explains the topics of calculus makes them so easy to understand, you end up wondering what the big deal with calculus is. She is very kind and very helpful, especially one on one. Very supportive, as well. Definitely take her if you have the choice.
Super awesome lady and professor, explains everything in great detail and is always willing to help. Only thing to beware of is homework, lots of it and is graded like a quiz, i did OK in the class and still would get 10 out of 20 sometimes on 50 question homework assignments. overall super awesome professor would recommend!
The best Calc teacher at Creighton by far. Lots of HW but tests are very do-able and she's extremely helpful.
Way too fast for me. Couldn't keep up at all.
SHE IS THE BOMB!! .A lot of homework's, but it's good for you so when you study for the test, you'll have a background
The accuracy of your answers and work counts on the homework. When she teaches the problems in class, she teaches the easy example problems and expects you to be able to figure out the hard ones on your own. The tests are exactly like the homework problems. The group projects were annoying and I got Bs on them.
For math modern world (Easiest math class), she's pretty tough. You NEED to read the chapter before class and after as well in order to retain the info. Not an easy grader and make sure to attend class always. Only 2 absences allowed. Make a good impression in the beginning and maintain it. Tests are hard but fair. Probability is the hardest sect.
I can't imagine a better math professor at Creighton. The class is not hard, but the concepts can be odd. She is always willing to help during class when she lets us work on problems or if you go into office hours. A couple of quizzes, homework graded on accuracy, and two papers. Take her if you can!
Tests are fair, she goes over exactly what will be on them beforehand. Be diligent about homework - she grades for accuracy. Not my favorite professor but not bad. Make sure you get a good group for the group essays, she grades tough on them.
Just take regular calc, there is little to no integration of biology. The professors knowledge extends only to math and although I don't I don't question her mathematical intelligence, for those without calc experience, her teaching skills are poor. However, exams are realitively easy if you have any calc exposure. We need a better math dept
Math for the Modern World is dumb, but Mrs. Lilly makes it bearable. She is a super nice person, and she assigns just enough homework so you understand, but it's not busy work. She gives little quizzes at the end of each chapter, but no tests. The final is the same for every MTH205 class, and she gives a study guide.
Tells you exactly what is on the quizzes
If you're premed, don't take Math for the Modern World, even if your freshman advisor says to; even though you technically don't need calculus for MCAT, many med schools require it as a prerequisite. Also, to anyone saying Lily's MFTMW class is easy, that may be true regarding lecture, but the group projects & all the exams were kind of difficult
Dr. Lilly is awesome - knows the material and is concise and to the point with lectures. Tells you what material will be on test and is always available in office hours. No nonsense and just tries to teach students what they need for tests, rather than adding unnecessary material.
Professor Lilly posts the powerpoints she uses in class, there is a TA for the class that will help you with homework, and she is a fast grader. The tests are only 8 questions and they are worth 50 points so you get points just for having the right idea. The group projects are easy if you split up the work. Take her if you have to take math 205.
Lilly does a good job of preparing you for the exams with the paper homework that is assigned. You need to do the homework because it is actually worth a decent amount of the grade. There are only a few tests so you have to do well and she is kind of mean/ scary.
She is a good professor but goes over lectures really fast. She assigns homework almost every night but gives class time to get it started. She grades the homework so do it. There are two group papers that take a lot of time, but as long as you include everything you will be fine. She has exams and quizzes that are not that long or too hard.
This was a very easy class. She explains concepts well and goes through many practice problems during class. She also tells you EXACTLY what will/will not be on the exams (hint: the most complex material gone over in class is usually not tested on). There are individual and group homework assignments due every week; they're easy grade boosters.
Dr. Lilly is a really nice prof and is always willing to help. The course I took was pretty weird, you literally do only word problems but she made it understandable. Her quizzes are based on the homework so as long as you follow along and ask questions your solid.
Dr. Lilly is a great professor. She is straightforward and will ONLY tell you what you need to know for exams. She will also tell you what you do not need to know. If you want to take a professor who doesn't throw you any curveballs, take her! Great core class to take!
She is the perfect teacher! Can break down a new subject so well that I think Lilly could probably teach calculus to a toddler. Down to earth. Treats her students as competent adults. Dedicated to your success. The easiest professor to approach for help if you need it!
Pretty straight forward class. She will tell you what is on each quiz and expect a quiz every week or two. No big tests during the semester. She is down to earth and is pretty funny.
Prof Lilly is awesome!! The only thing that sucked was all the quizzes, and each one only had a few questions so if you don't know what you are doing, you are definitely not going to get a good grade on them. No "tests", but there were a couple short essay math projects to do. Overall, super easy class and Prof. Lilly is super funny, time goes fast
Out of all of the Math 205 professors at Creighton, she is the one to take. That being said, the final was super difficult and tanked my A to a B+. Also, beware if you're put in quarantine at doubletree, she doesn't Zoom her lectures. I had to teach myself an entire unit whilst there.
Dr. Lilly is probably the best the math dept has to offer. If you don't/can't go to class, you're on your own for learning the material. I had an A in the class all semester until the third exam and final, which brought me down to a B. Group assignments every week along with online homework, but she's straightforward with her exams and grading
Direct and straightforward professor. If you do the homework, you'll pass the class. Most of the material covered in class is review from high school math so her class isn't too difficult. Recommended that you study for the final because it was fairly difficult.
I LOVE prof Lilly, she's amazing! Tells you what is gonna be on each test. Only grades were 4 tests, 7 quizzes, and 2 lab activities. Tests were not bad at all. Always out of class early. Study and you should get an easy A. Need textbook because there are practice questions, exercises, and definitions from lecture to help you if you're confused
Professor Lilly is definitely the best option for bio calc. She is very clear and concise in lecture, breaks things down in a very simple way, and is approachable after class. Her exams don't have any surprises, and if you study what she tells you to you will be solid. Overall great choice!
Unfortunate class, unfortunate professor! The worst ever! Heard great things about Lilly and I was actively trying to be in her section! However, Lilly is unapproachable, critical, condescending, and hates her job! She is by far the best the Creighton Math Department has to offer! This speaks to how bad Creighton Math Department is! NEVER TAKE!
Professor Lilly does not seem like she enjoys teaching this course. She doesn't help students out and she tries to rush through class to be anywhere else. She doesn't explain anything in her lectures and simply does not want to be there.
Lilly is not a very good teacher. She just assumes we have all had calculus lectures by doing the problem and having us copy it down. She doesn't explain the concepts well and she is not very accessible outside of class. She also doesn't give us outside resources and the textbook is a piece of crap. Our whole math department needs to be fired!
Dr. Lilly cares about her students. She has a busy schedule but tries to help as much as she can. The online homework can be really tough and sometimes feels useless. If you have to take calc I'd recommend taking it with Lilly.
Manageable, but less than ideal. Obvious that she doesn't want to be there. No excused absences (you will get a zero for the day) even with a Dr. note. Get ready to teach yourself everything. Four tests with 30 questions each, so no room for error. Unclear expectations and guidelines. Brushes off questions about your grade/things impacting it.
Do not suggest. I had once asked her a question, and she shouted at me in front of the entire class. It was humiliating, and I nearly cried in class. I believe that if you are going to be a professor, you ought to be patient with your students and avoid humiliating them in front of the class.
Made my friend cry.
Insanely rude! Needs to learn how to talk to people.
Professor Lilly wants to be there just as much as you do (she doesn't want to be there..at all..) Professory Lilly will literally cheer when the presentation is over. She once told us that she only got a math major so she could watch TV and do homework. The class itself is REALLY EASY but if you can avoid taking it as an 8 am.. do that.
Most of her teaching comes from the textbook, so if you struggle with math you will have to do some extra work, but overall the class is pretty easy. Your grade is determined by homework, quizzes for each chapter, and then the final, but there are a lot of points to get your grade up. Missing a few classes drops your grade a whole letter.
shes kinda like your friend's funny cool mom that you love she just HATES teaching stats. she would literally just read the class slides and call it good. shes very good at letting you know what will be on exams and is a quick grader. shes a little bit intimidating at first but she probably hates being as class as much as you do. shes a queen tho
Dr. Lilly knows that you do not want to be there so she tries to make the class as easy as possible. She is very helpful as long as you ask her questions. She is very accommodating if you have to miss class (you only get 2 unexcused absences). Homework is easy and the quizzes aren't too hard.
She obviously doesn't like teaching STATS. You will have to teach yourself most of the information if you want a good grade. 4 exams, 7 quizzes, 2 labs, and attendance are your grade. Don't get the book. No study guides, just a 5 minute period where she lists literally everything we went over in the unit and tells us that's what on the exam.
Dr. Lilly is a chill professor who doesn't teach much. Early in the semester, she would teach the concepts she assigned, but later on, she just showed videos. Honestly, not too hard of a class. If you study, you should be fine.
Professor Lilly teaches this class in a straightforward manner. Attend lectures, do the homework, and you'll do well. The final can be tricky, so use Unstuck study and other study tools to prepare. Overall, a manageable math class.
If you struggle with math, and you need support do not take this class. She is unapproachable and has raised her voice level with me and other students in the class and embarrassed me. If you are late even by a minute she will make a whole scene about it.
She clearly hates her job. Like she does NOT want to be there. The number of times she would not teach something and then proceed by saying "It's just not that deep guys" was insane. That being said in the 10-15 minutes she actually lectures, she did well. DO NOT TALK DURING LECTURES. She will get really cranky and call you out.
The woman was quite harsh and condescending. I enrolled in her class since I had read positive reports about her. She is terrible at teaching information and always rushes through her poorly prepared slides. And she always enters this classroom as if she doesn't want to be there.
Worst professor at Creighton so far. Doesn't want to be teaching so idk why she's still here. Complains constantly, and makes class attendance mandatory even though you show up and she just reads the slides from Blueline word for word. She also will cause a scene if you are even 1 minute late, although she will show up late herself sometimes.
Bro hates teaching, stats, and nursing students almost as much as she loves complaining about her pain and yelling at students who aren't even talking. She reads off the slides word for word, except when she complains about how stupid and wrong the book is. attendance policy is dumb. Might want to just drop nursing tbh.
She is okay, she is nice but will not give many examples. She will go through the slideshows super fast and it is slightly difficult to keep up, but not a bad class.
