Great teacher. Knows his stuff. Great to work with and is glad to help students outside of class or talk with them. Just remember his posted office hours as he teaches at two different campuses. Do what he asks and you can get an easy B. Do alittle bit more and get a easy A.
This professor is great. I recommend him highly and I loved his class! He's got good powerpoint, gets everyone involved, has a variety of learning methods (i.e., powerpoint, videos, group discussions, debates, oral reports, research, homework, visiting a place of worship etc.) He really wants his students to succeed. Dr. K is fantastic.
Dr. Kamuabo is not only a wonderful teacher, he is a very kind and compassionate man. Every student should have a teacher/mentor like him. He truly gives of himself to make sure his students succeed. His classes are interesting and he definitely promotes critical thinking. I think you would have to work hard to fail his class.
I LOVED Dr. K! Take him if you have the chance! Had two classes with him. He is very knowledgable and has accomplished much in his life. He was an easy teacher and easy grader. I wish he didn't teach at northern campus or I would take him again in a heartbeat!

Dr. K is awesome. Has a lot of interest in this subject. Enjoys placing Critical thinking questions on the tests. I don't see how anyone can't pass this class if they pay attention, come to class and turn in assignments on time. My only complaint is that he is sometimes slow to put his lectures up on Blackboard. I highly recomend taking him.
Dr. K was really great! He gives an engaging class, and likes participation. Homework is pretty involved. Weekend assignments can take 1.5-3 hours to complete. He is one for following rules to the T, so don't challenge that. I really liked him and would recommend his class.
This guy is a joke. He does not know his stuff. If your looking for an easy class, take this guy. If you want to major in anything about religions, don't waste your time on this guy.
Dr. K is a great person, however, his instruction needs improvement. He lacks a lot of structure. Because of his lack of structure, he is having 7 groups present in such a short amount of time that he is cutting them off at 2 minutes and doesn't even read the paper he requires! Suggested if you like chaos.
HE IS THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER TAKEN!!! I admit though, he is easy, you never need the textbook. I could study an hour before the test and get an A. His lectures are sooo boring and he is soo biased! Good luck trying to understand him or getting him to answer your question so u understand. I'm glad his class is over!! ....You've been warned!!!
Dr Kamuabo is a great professor
Dr. K is very unclear. He never says what he is specifically looking for and gets angry when you don't do exactly as he invisioned. He also never fully answers questions and talks down to students. There is a mild language barrier that came up several times in my class. The class is an easy A, but Dr. K isn't the greatest professor by any means.
Kamuabo is very rude. Had him for Old Testament. Not a hard class, got an A but he does not answer questions well and he is very unorganized. Very condecending.

Mr. Kamuabo is a good teacher, and makes the class enjoyable. We had several opportunities to do group work, though he grades on an individual basis. If you question an idea/concept, prepare to be confronted. This was not a theology class; if you ask inappropriate questions, he'll remind you of that. Go to class, pay attention, and you'll do well.
Probably the most frustrating class i've ever take. He seems great at first but into the semester you realize how unorganized and inconsistent he is. The class material is easy, but his tests are ridiculous and completely abstract. Memorizing your powerpoints is all you can do for this class. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.
He was by far the worst teacher I ever had. He made fun of students infront of the whole class, wasted far to much time on needless things and spent about 45 minutes talking about his digestive issues. He canceled 2 classes and we were always super far behind. He was rude and his accent makes is very hard to understand him.

Was interested in class for fun. He is nice and the class is easy, just do the work. However he is unorganized and hard to understand. He goes to fast on the power points in spots but puts him online. In class he is almost always late but takes points off if you are. Spelling is not his strong point.

This is one of those classes that are easy but you can also learn something. I learned a lot about other religions in this class and Dr. Kamuabo was very knowledgeable. He has an accent, but you can understand him.
Great teacher. I love his class, He puts power points on BB so you can just print them and bring them to class and highlight. He is funny and very interesting. He encourages participation and his tests are not that hard. He does have an accent, but he is very understandable if you just listen. I would take him again for sure ! GREAT CLASS
Dr kumaubo's class is interesting and fun. We learn a lot in his class and it makes one have a desire to learn more.It is sad when the time goes by so fast and the class is over.He is very knowledgable and respectful of his students and other religions.
He is so funny ! He is a great teacher. I love his class he keeps you interested. The tests and quizzes are online and directly from the pp lectures. I would highly recommend him !

If you want to learn and have fun doing it take this class. He is a great teacher and unbiased. Hes a good teacher and the classroom is usually in a fun atmosphere. If you put in the work you'll walk away with a good grade, simple as that.
The class was real easy. Only reason I got a B was because I missed a couple of HW assignments. As long as you do your assignments and go to class it should be an easy A!
My favorite teacher ever. Funny, sympathetic about late assignments, (he will always let you do tests, quizzes, homework late with 10 percent off), all tests and quizzes are online and EASY, class is very interesting, he values all opinions. Very easy A.
He is smart, funny, and very knowledgeable on the topic, but tends to be a bit unorganized from time to time and not always 100 percent clear. Work was consistent and not rushed until the last few weeks of the semester in which he crammed a lot of very important assignments.
I had him for an online class (world religions) and a seated class (Intro New Testament). Easy as long as you do the work and come to class. If you get anything less than an A in this class it is because of you, not him.
Dr. Kamuabo is an amaizing professor! He is my favorite teacher I've had thus far at Wake Tech. He is hilarious and his lectures are interesting. I've never had a 50 minute class fly by like this one. He is helpful and his quizzes and tests are straight off of his powerpoints. He's very understanding and respectful.
Online course was fairly easy, just gotta keep up with all the material. Mr. Kamuabo was slow with grades and replying to questions/problems. Stickler for deadlines, no leniency at all. He also crammed a ridiculous amount of material at the end of the course. Would recommend for anyone who is independent learner and can stick to deadlines.
Online class, stick to the syllabus and due dates and you will have no problem. Dont wait til last minute for discussion boards and quizzes. The book makes the assignments easy. If you can apply yourself and not get behind, easiest A you can take.
Mr. Kamuabo is smart and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he is pretty disorganized. The subject matter is relatively easy to understand but he goes into excessive amounts of detail that make lectures a little boring. It is also difficult to follow his answers when you ask a question. But, the class is do-able and you do learn a lot.
Very clear cut and easy to follow. If you read the book or even just go over powerpoints you can recieve an A in this class. The format is brilliant and would love if every online class copied it.
Class is super easy. He doesn't actually teach anything it's all lectures and online quizzes/tests which are really simple. He is a smartass and he is quick to disrespect students. He only allows his point of view, conversation with him is nearly impossible. Keep a low profile, don't contribute to discussions, & you should get an A
As the previous person said, the class is easy. Just don't expect any help from Dr. Kamuabo. He will not respond the emails and does not post assignments when he is supposed to. We have deadlines, why doesn't he? He says he will post tests/exams on a certain day to allow time to take it. Then he doesn't post until the day it is due!
This is the easiest class I have taken.However, if you have questions or concerns, don't expect a response and if you do get one, expect a rude one.He forgets to post the assignments on time, is not helpful with content at all, and he offered us 3 days to take the final so everyone could find time, then refused to post it until the day it was due.
Dr. Kamuabo is a true professional with heart and soul for instructing. The information presented is organized, informative, and interesting Instructions are clear, precise. When I needed help, he was readily available to discuss the issue at hand. Look forward to future instruction by Dr. Kamuabo. Highly recommend this instructor.
I really enjoy him as a teacher. The majority of the class is online, so class time is pretty pointless. Every assignment is through blackboard, and he's usually a little behind on lectures because we've already done the assignments for what he is teaching. He is funny and makes things interesting. This is an easy class, definitely worth taking
Mr. Kamuabo can be very rude. He forgets to put the things up he says he will and never trust him when he says that an assignment is not due or has been moved, he will forget and it’ll be due on the original date/time. He will forget your emails, then send you ones that you sent long time ago edited to cover his mistake.
I don't understand the point of ACA, and having Kamuabo as a teacher makes it worse. He assigns assignments on blackboard, but won't post them until the day it is due. He takes forever to reply back to emails, and half the time it's a week later and the email is unimportant. I would not recommend him. You can't eat in class.
Dr. Kamuabo is a very fair but inflexible teacher. He is very inspirational man, he speaks six languages, plays several instruments, and has TWO black belts. He knows his material and does his best to help you learn but won't spoon feed you. His class was almost entirely online work with very little in class work. He seems scary but is really nice.
He's a great professor. His lectures may be what you already know, but he is wise and what he says will make you successful. If he taught other classes, I would take them. It's an Easy A. You need to show up and do his assignments and that's it.
He is a terrible teacher. He does not know how to implement course material correctly and frequently goes back on his word. Projects and papers in this class are a joke. I wish that I never took this class.
Pretty easy class! The hardest assignment was a research paper. Homework, and discussion boards were long ,and dreadful only because there was a 150 minimum word answer requirement for each question, which he took very seriously! He did take a long time to grade assignments. Responded to my emails within the same day. Overall easy A if you keep up.
If you are looking for an easy A class REL 110 with Mr. K is the one for you. The class is very easy except for the homework assignments which require an answer with 150 words minimum for each question. He answers e-mails quickly, however sometimes he is a little rude and does not mind embarrassing his students in front of the class.
DO NOT TAKE HUM-115 WITH THIS INSTRUCTOR!! 1. This class is NOT an easy A. He makes you work for it. 2. Lectures are in class, but all assignments and tests are online. However, his spelling and sentence structure is not good, making questions unclear. EX: This is an example of (vocab word). You may choose more than one answer. Not a good class.
Dr. Jean-Pierre was my instructor for Rel 110. DO NOT HAVE HIM AS YOUR INSTRUCTOR!!! He can not word questions correctly nor can he INSTRUCT! He should not be employed by Wake Tech. Very unprofessional in his responses. Not sure where he got is Doctorate from but I can tell you he can not TEACH! Nor can he grade work on time! WTCC let him go!
He does not give you the help you ask for. when you go to his office hours he rush you out of there.
Awesome teacher! Makes discussions easy and fun. He teaches from a non-biased point of view, which is very important when teaching about such a sensitive topic.
I had questions that I emailed him regarding assignments. Things I did not see as being clear in the written instruction. I never once got a reply from him. Even when turning in all assignments on blackboard, he graded one as a zero. A quiz that I know for certain that I took.
Why is everyone so mad? His online REL110 was extremely easy and I had no issues with him what so ever. He was also nice when he replied my email about my essay topic lol.
Dr. Kamuabo is more knowledgeable on religion than you might realize if you only take his class online. I missed an assignment, but I met him in his office hours and he was very gracious about helping me make it up- he wants you to learn and do well in his class. There are outside resources that will help you study for quizzes if you look for them.
To be honest, the work was easy. But, if you happen to miss a test your grade is ruined. I feel as if he purposely tries to fail people, he takes like 45% off of your grade for something so miniscule, he doesn't posts assignments in a timely manner and is just flat out rude. He should not be employed by Wake Tech.
Dr Kamaubo is a very good educator. He is extremely brilliant. I made a B in his class with little effort. Do your assignments and check blackboard daily sometimes he does post assignments late but he always give you an opportunity to turn it in late with no penalty

I took the online class- world religions was super interesting and super easy. Standard Fare. if you are in the online class I would recommend purchasing the book. I purchased an older edition and it was fine plus I save a bundle! No issues with this teacher or class. Just do your work. If you are late when turning in; no problem.
Professor Kamuabo is very unclear about some of his assignments, leaving certain grading criteria, word count requirements, or more specifics off the assignment. However when grading offers little to no feedback on what can be done to improve your grade for the next assignment. Not to mention the last three weeks he had no lecture notes available.
He takes a while to replay, there was a lot of lengthy, easy homework and many of them were due throughout the week. So, not too bad. He does take points off for relatively small mistakes in my opinion but he does not try to affect his students. There was not a lot of interaction in the online course, but I would take him again.
This guy shouldn't be teaching. He constantly repeats himself during lectures, and when he's not repeating himself, he's contradicting himself. His tests are needlessly long and fraught with grammatical errors. He also shows up late or barely on time, running over class time very often. This class is passable, but not enjoyable.
This professor was terrible at responding to emails, and when he did respond he did not answer the question that was asked. His tests make no sense, the wording is pitiful, his grammar and spelling are awful in the tests. I would never take his class again, a class that is supposed to be easier and common sense he made extremely difficult.
Though it's difficult to say whether it was simply the coursework that was easy or his grading, his World Religions was NOT a difficult class by any means. He did enjoy, however, copious amounts of busywork that included weekly assignments alternated with discussion boards that ended up being roughly the length of short papers. Easy A, at least.
Horrible professor. The content of the course is extremely easy and interesting, but He is so unorganized that it makes the class extremely difficult. Either take this course with someone else or take something else. Not worth it.

Get ready to read and write with little to no feedback on your grades. Wouldn't suggest taking him for Rel-110 if you don't have some natural ability as a writer.
The class and work itself was simple and self explanatory. The professor seemed to yell through assignment feedback, using many exclamation marks and only negative feedback. Only a handful of test/quiz questions came from the book and I had emailed him in regards to questions on a couple of our tests and never received an email back.

Great professor. Took summer online class, workload is heavier than most. Requires at least 150 characters per question. Very specific about grading. Don't buy textbook, you can find everything online. I hear a lot of bad things but he's actually a good professor.
This professor was absolutely horrible! I took his class online for one of my requirements for my degree. The very first day, we had up to seven assignments due. He grades slow, and his feedback on assignments/papers are incredibly rude! He never tells you what you did well on, but instead bashes you on everything you did wrong! I do not recommend.
He is honestly one of the easiest teachers ever ... Easy assignments easy A+ class
150 word minimum for each question and theres 4-6 question per assignment. Its way to much for a question that can literally be answered in 2 sentences. But at least you know when assignment will be do and seems to be plenty of time to get it done. I work here and there on it. Again 150 word MINIMUM.
I love this professor! He is amazing! An educator cares about his students, a teacher only grades papers! This is an educator who does want wordy answers to homework, however it's usually only 5 questions, not 10 or 20. Plus he always extends deadlines because he knows we are human and life happens! Gets back to you right away, helpful always!
I loved his class, hes really patient and if anyone says something bad about him, they was just lazy for doing what they supposed to do in that class.. take him, hes easy and great.
I took Mr. K's class for critical thinking. He is a great teacher, he only wants the best for his students. The BEST way to get through his class is to do your work and study. Mr. K always makes himself available to help in any way, just ask him. Some misunderstand his method of teaching but he is just a by the book kind of guy that wants to help.
Mr. Kamuabo is hilarious - his class was easy to get through, but you need to be there to fully get whats going on. He loves getting the class to speak up and participate in class, and always has a few stories himself to share. He won't tell you what is due most of the time, he expects you to check BB, but if you're on top of it you'll get an A.
I took him online for HUM 115. His grading is easy: certain amount of words per question. Turn it in on time and BOOM you got an A. Tests & quizzes not proctored. Great instructor, I took him in person and he was very funny and a great lecturer. Only used the textbook for the one essay due.
I can't speak for his seated class but please please don't take his online class. He is very disorganized and literally expects you to check blackboard every day. Weekends too. One time he posted an assignment ON a Saturday that was due THAT Saturday at midnight. His test questions don't make sense and are often grammatically wrong.
The professor was professional to a fault. It felt as though he was robotic at times. The assignments that he provided gave arbitrary word counts that were often far higher than what should be needed making interactions with other students in the discussion board weird too. The major project's requirements were very vague.
He stretches himself way too thin, and he can't handle it all. At the time, I was in his class, he was a student himself, a professor, and an advisor. The final exam was a collections of all the quizzes combine so just save your quizzes, and study them. He has an accent so it was hard for me to understand him. He's also biased, but he won't admit.
I've seen some students complain about the 150 word min. that he expects on each question for homework and db but honestly I've never once met the min. and still passed his class with an A. Overall, it's an easy course. You only need the book for an essay towards the end of the course. Borrow one from a buddy, save your money.
Summer(2020). Tests and quizzes are from the PowerPoints. You need the book for the essay assigned. 150 word min. for each homework and discussion question. I met with him during his virtual office hrs. to better understand topics, which helped me to succeed and showed him that I actually cared. I enjoy this teacher and plan to take his REL class.
I dropped this class because there was SO much to do Every week you have to write an essay on some absurd paragraph he came up with. He is not clear on instructions but yet is very anal with grades and email format. Heavy on discussion boards, very annoying having to write and comment on other peoples' things. Cannot just bullshit this class at all
This teacher is incredible! He makes learning fun, he's hilarious, gives great examples and his quizzes/tests are very easy.
Lack of communication and not involved in course material. Does not give weekly reminders. The email responses are very bland and dry. It's almost like talking to a brick wall. Overall, the course has all material posted so there are enough sources to succeed. The class could honestly be done even without the teacher with now inactive they are.
Mostly short answer homework assignments and a few essay assignments. Mostly common sense. Not mentally challenging but will take a decent amount of time to commit to all the writing assignments.
Fun class. Was sometimes a little confusing but overall was enjoyable. Most of your work is completed on BB and then sometimes he would do group assignments in class. He had a good humor about himself and the subject he is teaching.
love him! he's adorable! this class is comically easy. workload is light there isn't much hw & most of it is short & simple. he is hilarious & v passionate which makes the class enjoyable. sometimes his explanations can be a bit confusing but bc the class itself is so easy its not a big deal. tbh if u have common sense + 1 brain cell, you'll pass.
