Good teacher. Gives study guides and is very helpful. Just read, do your homework, and study guide and you should get an A

I thought she was a good,but boring,teacher.She gives homework that is like what is going to be on tests and study guides.She offers 10 pts extra credit on tests!Our 1st 2 tests were out of 120 and 110 but she only counted out of 100!Read + do HW = A

Always gave a detailed study guide for tests, and offered to help students, would recommend for 215.

She explains everything very throughly. The tests & HW are simple, only requiring me to study 15 min. Not very difficult! Great teacher!

i enjoy Mrs. Price's class..very helpful..asks if there are any questions every 5 minutes.. gives u study guides for the tests..if u do what they say, you'll be ready for the tests..doesnt take up homework 80% of the time..nice woman!

I loved this professor!Anyone who says her tests are hard obviously didn't go to class and didn't read the book.I came to class everyday and glanced at my book and always got A's on my tests! TAKE PRICE-don't let the slackers scare you-easy if you try!

Dr. Price is a great professor. If you put forth the effort to do the homework and be in class, she puts forth the effort to help you understand. Tests are easy if you study. Don't expect an easy A, but you'll probably get an A if you at least try.

She actually cares whether or not the students learn the material. She brings in job postings and internship opportunities.

Im not a business major and took this class anyway. She is a great teacher. You can get a good great as long as you work for it.

This class was an easy A. If you study and go to class you have it made. You don't even have to do the homework to get the class. I think anyone who finds it hard might be the type that doesn't like to work at anything.

Dr. Price is great. She dumbs everything down, so it's easier to learn. She is really helpful if you go to her office hours and have one on one with her. She even helped me decide on my major.

Dr. Price is very easy. I fail the class w/ Dr. Wenzel and passed with a "B" in her class. As long as you go to class and do the assignments you will pass. Also she give a ton of extra credit. I would highly recommend her for 215.

She is a good teacher, but it is hard class. If you study and try hard you can easily make an A or B. I made a B even after I failed the first test. After that, I started studying more and listening better and my grade greatly reflected that.

For all of you who are whining about Dr. Price, I'd love to see you try to take ACC 311 from Dr. Archambault. If you think 311 with Price was too difficult, then you have almost no chance in 312 with Archambault. 311 is meant to be hard anyway, as it is suppossed to determine who can really handle the accounting program. Give her a break!

Jeez people, get over it! She curves all tests at least 10 points, she's not very approachable, but she gives tons of opportunities for bonus. This is an upper-level accounting class, so it's a lot of work, but it's really not all that bad. I work and go to school, and it's not too much for me. People are just so whiny!

I had her for 215 last semester and I LOVED her! I only wish that she moved classes as I need them. Definitely teaches and doesn't just do it and expect you to see and learn.

Extremely helpful! Always in her office outside of office hours. Her class is not difficult. She is the most thorough teacher I've ever encountered. Do the homework and go to class. You need to spend some time on the material, but it's very easy to get a B. Just a little more work and you'll have an A!!

Very Helpful! She's always in her office and is willing to help you in any way she can. It's a tough course, but if you go to her office she'll make sure you're prepared for the tests.

I loved having her in class. Accounting definitely isn't easy, but she makes it so its understandtable. It may take a bit to learn some concepts but thats how it is with anything. Go to class, pay attention, do the homework, study and youll do great.wish she taught 216 also..Went from an A in 215 to a D in 216 beause of professor =| Would reccomend

Great Professor! You have to do your h/w and go to class. It was tough but I was thankful she was so thorough when I took more advanced classes.

I think she's nice, strict and responsible,after her class,you can learn many staff.She's very patient and friendly to international students.

Dr. Price is an intelligent knowledgeable instructor. Alhough, her class has been the most difficult I have ever encountered in my acedemic career. Prepare yourself for abundance of HW and very hard exams. If it was'nt for some outside help which she prohibits I would'nt have made it through her class. Read and read to pass her class. She is fantastic and hilariously dry. She is in her office all of the time and if you need help she will be there for you. Talking to her in class she might seem a little intimidating but she is a nice person if you actually talk to her. Stay up with your work and take time to do the homework.

I absolutely LOVED having Jean! She is a very intimidating/grumpy/ and sometimes rude person but she goes above and beyond to help EVERY single student do their best. You have to study and you cannot get behind or you will fail but I overall loved the course.

Please keep in mind that accounting is a difficult subject and the material is not easy. Do the homework and study! With regards to subject knowledge and helpfulness, Dr. Price is great. However, her attitude and social skills are awful. She is extremely negative and has a bad attitude. Ignore her ttitude, do the work, and the class will be ok.

About as dry as you can be, but nice when you speak to her 1-on-1. Makes you feel stupid in class if you ask a question, but is constantly talking about how you need to ask more questions? She demands a lot, but it's a hard class. Tests on the most detailed material possible, must attend class or you'll definitely fail.

Price is probably one of the better teachers. She follows the book helps you if you need it. She is in her office all the time. Yes she is intimidating at first but just relax.

She is always available for questions concerning work which is nice. It is also the most straight foreword unexciting topic being taught by the most unexciting straight foreword professor.

Very straightforward about subject matter, and gives tons of example problems. First exam is strictly book material that isn't covered in class, so study! Seemed very eager to help if it was needed.

Dr. Price is a good person and professor. Give her a chance and you will end up liking and appreciating her. She is committed to helping her students and will spend all the time necessary to help you.

Her teaching style is almost elementary (not meaning bad) because she goes over homework like a 5th Grade teacher. She goes over the essentials for book keeping, and skips anything else interesting for the most part. if you come to class and pay attention, you shouldn't have an issue. She conveys the material clearly and hardly ever confusing

Took the course twice. Put the time in! Not a class you can skim by. Like previous comments, can come off intimidating at first. She is a very kind person though, and definitely "weeds" out the students not prepared to do what it takes to succeed. Don't be afraid of her. Be prepared for an opposite teaching style in II. You will appreciate Jean.

Do the homework! She gives ample opportunity for points, but don't be late with assignments. She says no attendance policy, but if you miss class it's really easy to get lost and behind. She is very helpful and encourages questions. If you need help, you really can call her at home and she will help you. She keeps you well informed of your grades

I really enjoy this professor, she has helped me out so much. she's older and kind of boring. However i thought i was going to fail but she gave me hope and helped me out. The tests are long but clear. there is TONS of homework, accounting consumes 1/2 my time but they are all worth points. the homework and projects have risen my grade so much.

At first, Dr. Price is kind of intimidating. By the end of the semester, I loved her! The class is difficult, but that's just the nature of the class and she does her best to make sure that her students are prepared. She is always in her office and even gives you her home phone in case you need help. I would recommend her class to anybody!

Dr. Price seemed vicious at first and I couldn't stand her. Then I went to her office for help and I've never seen somebody go so far out of their way to help someone else. She's very nice believe it or not

Amazing! She really knows her stuff and is clear on what she wants as far applying concepts. ALWAYS available for questions. Her tests are a bit difficult and I'd suggest using the online materials in prep for them. Read the book, take notes on chapters, and DO YOUR HW. She hardly takes it for a grade in 311 but you'll be sorry if you don't do it.

She's tough, but she is a very good professor. She goes over many examples in class that are helpful for exams. I wish she taught 312 also.

I loved having Jean Price as my teacher. I am awful at ACC and is not my major at all. She teaches everything a good pace with a lot of points to make up failed tests. You need the book and you need to be at class.

I would take her again in a heartbeat. She was a great teacher that made the concepts very understandable. She is always available to help her students (even on the weekends). As long as you do all the homework, come to class, and study you should easily pass her class.

Dr. Price is an underrated professor. She clearly identifies what material will be on tests and gives a generous amount of extra credit. However, do not expect to do well if you are not willing to put in the necessary work.

The material amount/technicality is hell. Dr. P makes it easy to digest. Available for help as much as possible (even at home). Tons of points possible. Read the book, do the homework before hand, and go to class. If you wanna be an accountant, you'll do it. Don't be intimidated. Talk to her. She's direct but leaves little room for confusion. A++!

She drives you to success. She creates accounting opportunities for students - sets up Accounting Firm visits, set up visit to the capital for accounting jobs.

Jean Price is awesome! If you want to learn accounting, I would suggest taking her. Lots of work but she will help you with anything!

Dr. Price is a respectable professor who is almost always available. While the workload may feel heavier, it is not as bad as having a weekly Smartbook assignment or papers. Her pedagogy is also much better compared to other professors in the department. People who dislike her now will curse her even more later for not listening and learning.

Dr. Price definitely knows accounting. However there are almost no online assignments, and when there are you have to print them out after. The class is difficult, and she doesn't explain things very thoroughly. I did not mind her way of teaching, but I would still recommend taking a different professor for this course if you can.

Jean's lectures are beneficial for the exams. You will get homework every now and then but it's usually easy. The project at the end of the semester takes time but isn't complicated. Overall it should be an A if you put some effort in, and it is a very easy B if not.

Dr. Price is without a doubt the hardest professor I have ever had. Dr. Price is also without a doubt one of the best professors I have ever had. I won't lie, I hated the class during the semester, but unliked most classes, I felt like I truly learned. You will feel like an actual -ACCOUNTING WIZARD- after you pass. 10/10, and I got a C.
