She is a great teacher. I learned alot from her. She answers all your questions. It may seem like she is going slow but once you go home to do your homework you'll remember how to do the problems. She gives quizzes once a week which is so easy!!

Wonderful teacher. She goes through each step and answers all questions asked. Nice personality!

She really makes sure eveyone knows what is going on... isnt intimidating to talk to at all! lets you know when theres a "pop quiz". Easy to learn a lot, very little homework assigned

She is awesome, very helpful and she explains everything very clearly, she will make sure that you understand it. There is never anything unexpected, she is always letting you know ahead of time. She always gives homework, but it's not required, just of your favor! She is really good!

Her teaching method makes the class extrememly easy to understand. She makes sure that everyone knows whats going on and is concerned with whether or not you understand the material. She also gives the BEST "pop quizzes" I definitly recommend her for math 130! She's the best!

she is great teacher. her methods of teaching are very helpful and she tries to give real life examples for her math problems. she is also so nice and always willing to help you based on your schedule when you dont understand something.

She is a great teacher and was really easy to understand. Make sure you make it to all of her classes or it's really easy to fall behind.

Pretty hard class, but if you do your homework and go to class you can get a good grade. She is VERY helpful. The class starts off really easy, but by the end of the semester its pretts hard. She is very good at what she does and even at 8 am i stayed awake.

Easy trig class...quizzes throughout the semester..around 10..they come straight from hmwk problems...4 tests including a final...very easy..similiar to end of chapter questions...gives bonus pts...helpful and understanding...drops lowest quiz..and if u have 3 or less absences..raises lowest test a full letter grade

Best math teacher I have EVER had! I never understood math until her. I never liked math until I understood it because of her. If math isn't easy for you take her because she knows how to explain it. Do your homework and go to class and you'll do even better. Very nice, very helpful. I highly recommend her!

She is a totally amazing teacher. Very clear and does each step-by-step, which is easy for me. She is strict on attendance and I wish I wouldn't had assumed to ace this class by not practicing the homework because now I have a C. BUT, its an easy A.

She was cool. She really enjoys teaching and it shows. She goes out of her way to help. Her class is tough but she shows lots of examples and never makes you feel stupid if you ask questions...Overall good professor!

Very nice and very helpful. Teaches you so you understand it. Tests are pretty easy and she tells you exactly what is going to be on them so you know what to study. I really like her and want to take her for Math 115.

LOVED this teacher! I never liked math or enjoyed it before but she turned that around. She makes things easy to understand and always answers questions. She always reviews before tests and makes sure she's covered all the info that is on them. HIGHLY recommend her! :)

Well, I hadn't taken algebra in over 6 years, and I was able to get a B in her class. She does move a little fast, but she is very nice and very helpful. Make sure you go to class and ask questions and you'll be just fine. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.

Best math teacher I have ever had. All my math teachers prior to her have been confusing when teaching the material, she made everything crystal, just be sure to ask questions if you have any.

I loved her as a math teacher. She was the best math teacher that I personally had all my life. She is very clear about her standards, and teaches math very clearly.

Such an amazing teacher. Very easy to understand. Teaches through repetition, which is the only way to learn math. Very nice. Very helpful. If you have a hard time with math, take her! She makes math easy. Homework every night, but it isn't collected. Do it because it helps. You will get points for doing it too when she checks your notebook.

Mrs. Walling was very helpful and easy to understand. If you don't understand something she will stop class and go over it until you do, even if it is for one person. I recommend her to anyone taking this class.

SHE IS THE BEST MATH TEACHER.

She is just simply an amazing professor. She knows what she's doing and she is very helpful with clarifying confusing sections. Six point quizzes are easy if you just review your notes before the class. Homework is online which at first can sometimes be difficult, but you get use to it. I RECOMMEND HER!

This professor explains things when necessary but lets you do the learning you need to do. Aleks online math is very easy.

Such a nice lady. She will help any student and is very nice to everyone. Keep up to date with the online homework and everything is easy from then on. Be sure to ask questions if you don't understand because she is more than happy to spend extra time with you helping you figure it out.

By far the best professor i have had yet. She is so nice and very helpful! I really wanted to get in her class but it was full. I emailed her and she let me in the class even though it was full. I would definitely recommend her :)

She always gave extra credit points and always did problems on the board that you struggled with the day before. TEXT BOOK NOT NEEDED. She used online web assign which you will need. 100% recommend her as a teacher. She's amazing, and nice.

Professor Walling is the best professor I have had so far. She is very clear with what is expected out of her students and is completely willing to help you get the A. The course work is online but if you ask questions about the assignment, she will take you through it step by step in class. I would absolutely love to have her again.

All of the homework is online except for a select few. She gives chances to correct wrong answers and gives extensions on the homework if you missed the deadline. There is always an extra credit question on the quizzes and tests and if you have 3 or less absences at the end of the semester she gives an extra credit boost to your grade.

Mrs. Walling was an amazing math teacher. You could tell she genuinely cared about all her students and wanted them to all succeed. She does have a seating chart and an attendance policy but you also get extra credit for not having many absences. She goes out of her way to help her students!

Professor Walling is an amazing professor. She is really good at teaching math and if you can I would try to get in her classes. She gives you extra credit on every homework assignment if you do it in advance and she also gives out extra credit on tests. Definetly recommend having her it was a great class to ease myself into college.

Mrs. Walling has by far been the best math professor/teacher I've had my entire life. Math is not my subject (I struggle quite a bit) but she was able to help make math make so much more sense. She was patient and understanding with students and made sure to cover all course work in class. Would recommend her over and over.

Trig with Jean Walling was a breeze! With Covid, she only gave lectures M,W,F and you could watch them whenever. She gave us 2 days to complete the hw, which was relatively easy. I would definitely rate her class a 10/10!

Mrs. Walling is an awesome prof. She explains lectures in great detail and the material you learn in class is what the homework and tests are on. She is available to help you outside of class, even if you can't make it to her office hours. She really made math easy for me. She also gives a couple extra credit opportunities throughout the semester.

Seriously, Walling was one of the most amazing teachers I've ever had. She is extremely considerate and truly cares about the content being understood by her class. If you respect her, she definitely respects you. I got accepted for an internship during my class and she made such a big deal out of it. I will really miss having her as a teacher.

The first time I took this course, I failed because it was on a terrible online platform due to COVID. The second time was completely different. Professor Walling thrives in a real classroom environment, and she's amazing. There's 3 homework assignments per week, and 4 tests total. Study, study, study! If you put in the effort, it'll pay off.

I wish the class had been a little bit more in person, as even though we met for class in person, the entire course was online. But the professor was super good about answering questions, being lenient on grading, ans was accessible outside of class. Good personality as well, made students feel very welcome.

Dr. Walling is a very kind professor and truly makes learning math easy. Her lectures are important to attend bc she gives printed out notes and explains and fills them in. There is online HW and a couple quizzes and 5 tests so that's all your grade is. You do get extra credit if you miss less than four class though. Very nice and wants to help!

She is such a sweet lady. Yes, you have to put in effort to understand the material, but she is more than willing to give extra help. She lets you text her and drop by to her office if you need help. The only reason you fail is if you don't do your work. She gives you all the resources you need.

Loved working with Professor Walling. She's very sweet and willing to help any students struggling. I definitely need to be in a higher-level math course, but she did her best to keep me engaged. She offers a lot of extra credit opportunities on homework and tests. She explains things very thoroughly.

She was very sweet and really wanted to make sure you understood the work. I should've been in a higher math class, but I think it's still an easy A if you need it. There will be a lot of extra credit opportunities, I passed the class with 106% and I still made mistakes on exams and assignments.
