I had the privelege of taking her twice. For Stats twice. And both times I took her she was helpful and nice. The subject matter is challenging, and it does require that you really put work into it. Don't expect perfection in the class, but take advantage of tutoring and her office hours. She will always go over homework with you.

Great teacher, with very structured but easy to follow syllabus. She gives quizzes and exams constantly both on the book and lectures. If you want an A you have to attend every class and study hard because she doesn’t give them away easily. She's really a wonderful teacher and her classes are enjoyable as she’s very relaxed and entertaining.

I don't know why she is getting bad reviews because she is very nice and an amazing teacher. She has lots of tests and quizzes to help you get a good grade. She also offers lots of extra credit. I would definitely recommend her!

She's a great instructor. Easy to get along with and relatively clear. Doing hw is VERY essential to passing the course. She teaches different (easier) methods and formulas than the book so attendence is a must. Do all of the hw, study for the tests and you should do alright. Just completing the hw gives you the same amount of points as a test.

She is one of the best teachers a student could hope for. If you are a psych major taking her class is beyond beneficial. I took stats at Cerritos and dropped because they assume your an idiot. (Mandatory lab for stats at Cerritos to babysit you doing homework).

She's a great psy. teacher. I have take a lot of psychology courses and never loved it so much like now. She does make you work for the grade you want. Study for the tests or you'll fail, same goes for reading the book. But if you go to class everyday she gives you plenty of information thats going to be on the test...dont miss class!!

TAKE HER! Make sure you do the reading! About 30% of the test is based off the reading. Lectures are interesting and I was never bored in this class. She will keep you interested!

Go to class everyday. She teaches you methods that are so much easier than what the book tries to teach you. You read the book and don't have a clue what you are doing until her lectures. All in all, Jeana is amazing. She loves her job and students and you can tell. Make a real effort in her class (open up the book and do the hw) and you willthrive

jeana wolfe...amazinggg! i loved this lady from the moment i walked into class. she gives you 5 quizes throughout the semester that are like 10 questions from previous in class lectures. and 4 tests that are based mostly on the book and lecture, just know the notes which arent that bad and read the chapters fo sho! excellent teacher. loved it

Not an easy A class but if you work hard it will pay off. Some questions on the test are from the reading assignments so reading is a MUST. Really enjoyed it. She's very helpful if you don't understand something.

Jeana is a great teacher. The major problem with her class is that if you have a student that knows a lot and asks questions every 5 minutes, it will slow the class down substantially. Be sure to read the book before tests as many test questions are based on the book. She explains everything (even on tests) if you don't understand something.

Great instructor for statistics; the tests were difficult, but she will definitely give you the tools to pass them! The last section of the class is the hardest, so don't slack off. An A is attainable!

Very nice teacher and gives you opportunities for extra credit. She grades fair and you are able to talk to her about any situation. You do need to read to do well in this class though. It is 65% notes and the rest is from the book on the tests.

Prof. Wolfe is great! I am truly impressed by her dedication. She goes the extra mile for any student that seeks her help -even students in other classes come to her for assistance. The textbook is sometimes confusing, but she makes sense of it. Good note taking is very important in this class.

Jeanna Wolfe is an AMAZING teacher. She's REALLY helpful and is willing to answer any and all questions if you are unsure about anything. She teaches the most confusing parts of the chapters in class and leaves you to read and study the more easy ones alone. Class attendance isn't mandatory, but you should go anyways. great teacher.

But thats just her being nice. It's an easy class if you do the reading. Tests are easy 50 question multiple choice and NO homework! :)

Very good teacher!She is good at what she does and you can tell immediately. Just stay focused on her lecture, most of it ends up in the tests and read the book. However, she gets off top A LOT, that causes her to slowdown tremendously. But she is a great teacher overall, the class is fairly easy.

This woman was born to teach. She has so much experience, has great relevant stories, and explains the material so well, that I looked forward to attending her class. I was never into psychology before, I thought it was a dull subject, but she brings it to life. Definitely learned many things, not only about the course, but about myself. Amazing.

JEANA is an amazing professor. I've never seen a teacher so willing to help. If your there for the lectures and read the text book you'll be fine, but I definitely had to read the book. I learned so much in this class about myself. I look forward to taking her stats class with her next semester.

Take stats with her if you're a psych major who feels like math is hard for them! She made it so understandable and without her I would have never done well but her teaching technique and clarity helped me pass with an A! This class was good! I ending up getting the A, but I really had to work for it! The class is literally all tests, with a few assignments that don't really count for the that much! She does assign some extra credit! And as long as you go to class, and actually read the book, you'll be fine! She was a really fun professor to have!

Best teacher I've ever had. I HATE math but Jeana makes stats sooo passable! You can't miss a class or you are VERY behind and the tests are a bit hard but its math so its not like another teacher would have easier tests. She makes everything easy to understand and she walks around answering everyone's questions. SHES AMAZING, definitely recommend!

While this course is entirely lecture, Jeana presents in a way that keeps you intrigued. She's very clear on the subject matter, and will work with you one on one if you have trouble understanding a concept. Every now in then she'll let people drag on a little long with personal anecdotes, and make sure you read the book!

There are NO pop quizzes & Jeana is always helpful if you ask. I took this class twice & passed this semester. Stats is not easy but Jeana & her SI leader are both helpful. 5 exams are good bcuz the material is spaced out. HW is based on lecture, there should be no surprises for you. Office hrs are available if ur struggling. Use them!

I do not understand any negative comments for this professor. If you show up to class, pay attention, do the work and study, you will pass. If you struggle, use her office hours and/or the tutors! I saw her every week after class and I am grateful. I loved her lecture style, as someone who struggles with note taking, she made it very easy for me.

Professor Wolfe is an amazing teacher. Receiving an A is very much possible, however, you do need to read the textbook, go to lecture, use either or both psych lab and the study guide that the library provides (she'll explain more about it). She covers the hardest sections in class and is more than happy to answer any questions before/after class.

Professor Wolfe was a very laidback lady who didnt care whether you were in class or not, but she does give pop quizzes. I learned her schedule so I knew exactly when shed give a quiz, so I passed with flying colors and very little studying

One of the best professors Ive had. She really gives a lot of extra credit opportunities, in general a lot of opportunities to pass the class. Her exams are a mix of both lecture and book so its really necessary for you to be in class otherwise youve just missed a part of the lecture part of the test that the book doesnt cover.

Jeana is a very good prof and her lectures are never boring. Although notes are not mandatory, it's important to take them for her quizzes and exams. Reading the textbook after each lecture is HIGHLY recommended if you want to pass the exams with an A. There's also a student teacher who helps with the material an hour before and after class.

Professor Jeana has amazing lectures, she will explain them to you and help you understand the textbook and understand all essential statistic rules and let you able to perform them. So don't miss a class that you will lose the chance to understand the material. There was not a lot of work but a few little exercises to let you learn the skill.

Jeana was one of the best professors I've ever had. Her lectures are incredible, and there isn't much homework. 6 quizzes, 5 exams, and 4 HW assignments, but she drops the lowest quiz and exam, and only requires 2 of 4 assignments. Take notes on lecture and key terms in textbook and you'll pass with an easy A.

Really had fun with this class. You have 2 major reports to do over the course, you get to choose out of 4 to do. Make sure you do these two as those will heavily affect your grade even if you miss one (guilty, went from an A to B since I missed one). Pop quizzes cover lecture, tests are lecture and textbook over set chapters not accumulative.

Honestly a good professor. Drops your lowest test and quiz score. Class time is all lecture and tests cover about 70% of lecture and 30% textbook. You could honestly get away with just studying for tests by watching the crash courses and reading the textbooks if you don't wanna attend class. Overall a great teacher if you like lectures.

She teaches so well that the class doesn't become hard. We would have quizzes like every other week, but they were easy. Show up to class!!! and show up to the tutoring sessions!! They help a lot!

She's amazing! She is an ideal example of how I would want all my futures profs to be. She genuinely cares for all her students and wants them all to succeed. Generous with extra credit, (20 points max) boosted my grade up 10%. After taking the final my grade was over 100%. Grade is 3 exams, 5 quizzes, and 2 worksheets. no homework! Take her!!

She's an incredible professor. Her lectures are funny, engaging, and she makes difficult topics easy to understand. I love her class. Some things to note: Be ready to actually read and study the book since the tests have many questions from the book and avoid being absent for a lecture because all the lecture material does show up in the tests.

By far my best psych teacher, she was also the first psych class I've ever taken and made me love the subject even more. She is great at teaching and makes the topic more interesting as well as explains everything very well. Extra credit is given out plenty of times as well as help on the homework which is barley anything, most of it is showing up.

Took this class Fall of 2025. You can clearly tell she is passionate and cares for her students. I had allot of anxiety prior to taking this class but she puts your mind at ease with how students typically do in her classes. The embedded tutor helped me allot and i don't think i would have had a B if it weren't for the zoom sessions.

jeana is very good with the homework and grades it on honest attempt. its clear she sees how hard we're trying even if we get the problem wrong. her embedded tutor doesnt help me much, personally but shes a sweet person. the tutor sessions are ridiculously crowded and should have a certain time limit on how late you can be to those. great class
