I just got done taking her class and i had great experience. she was very organize and crystal clear on her explanations and very helpful. I know everyone is entitle to their own opinions but i feel those who didn't have good experience with her is because their were not willing to do given work. i look forward to taking another class with her.

I think this class was very organized and systematic. After taking other math professors, I realize just how organized Ms. Bogdan's class was, and how much that helped. She was extremely fair in grading and followed her syllabus to the letter.

Easy class, easy A. She is not a very good teacher at all. If you are not good at math don't take her. She teaches straight from the book. And just does what the books says without doing much practice problems. I ignored her and just did the homework in class. Test are easy and exactly what was done in homework. She does a lot of side talking.

I'm unsure why Ms. Bogdan has received negative reviews :( I took her Math 098 class and received an A+. Ms. Bogdan was always available to answer my questions before and after class, and responded to emails promptly. I did all the test reviews out of the textbook before each exam and had no problem with her tests. I would recommend her :)

I also don't know why Ms. Bogdan has such negative reviews. She follows the textbook which is GOOD, makes expectations clear. She offers extra help before and after class,answers email promptly and her tests are fair. If you don't attend class and con't do homework, you won't do well in any class. It's not 100% on the teacher to do well.

What in the world kind of people are taking her class and complaining? My guess is the type of people who are always difficult in every class. You know the ones who have to be obstinant? I also would guess that the recent ratings that are all right around the same date are the same person posting repeatedly with an agenda. She is an awesome teacher

First let me start off by saying she is incredibly nice and tries her best. I have to give her an average-mediocre rating though, because of disorganization, she has a bad habit of wasting time and I don't like that she has her notes done ahead of time. She is very fair though and if you do well on your final she will bump your grade up alot for it

Nice teacher. She always makes sure no on has questions before starting. Gives extra credit opportunity on every test. Great teacher. I highly recommend

She is an extremely good-hearted person. Grades all hw, tests, and final; drops lowest test. VERY willing to help after class and during. Has lesson pre-written and projects it, but goes step-by-step or re-writes problems in class to show how to do them. Shows a good amount of examples. Just study for tests, do your hw, and take notes in class.

Jeanne is a great instrucor! She does have the lessons written in a notebook, but goes through the lessons thoroughly. She is very easy going, helps whenever needed, even if she has to stay until 10pm.I highly recommend her! This is my second quarter with her, and plan to stick with her for as long as possible!

She is a good teacher. I highly recommend her. I previously took math 98 with another instruction and failed. I struggle with math and her step by step of how to solve problems helped me learn the material.lessions pre written out, but very helpful if you miss a class as she will let you copy the notes. She offers extra credit on every test.

I don't understand the negative comments and outright lies. She is very organized. Gives out assign sheet and stays on track. Yes her notes are pre-written in a notebook that is projected on screen, but if she is teaching the same thing over and over why not? She allows you to take photos of it. Available b4 and after class. Great teacher.

all around straight to the point. I was very happy with her. her notes were amazing test were exactly what was learned in class. im horrible in math and I didn't stuggle one bit because of her teaching method was on point. best math teacher I have ever had. I highly recommend her to anyone struggling in math and want to actually get it.

She does a great job explaining to you what needs to be done, and work she shows is used in tests. Not too many curveballs which is nice. She does tend to be distracted easily and go off subject. Takes too long to answer some students questions. Overall I would take her for every math course if possible.

Miss Bogdan was amazing. I took her for 097 and 098. Math has never been my strong suit in the past. Miss Bogdan was beyond helpful. She stayed with me after class in order to give me private tutoring sessions. She is the sweetest woman EVER!! Plus she gives tons of bonus questions on all of her tests. If math scares you, it with her.

Ms. Bogdan is the best professor EVER! I hate math, have never quite grasped algebra but she is so patient and understanding, always willing to go the extra mile with helping her students. I'm shocked that anyone could ever write anything negative about her, I've taken 2 classes with her and all the students love her.

Miss Bogdan is the sweetest lady on the planet. She takes time to review each assignment in order to make sure that everyone understands the material. She is available for one on one tutoring. She drops the lowest test score, which is a major bonus. She also offers extra credit opportunities on every test.

I took this class over summer quarter so the entire course was crammed into less than 7 weeks. There's was a ton of homework, which I expected since it was summer quarter and it's math. I felt she was really nice and very willing to help even though we were a bit rushed due to the time. I'd recommend this class.

The sweetest teacher I ever had! Taking a Math class has been one of my fears but Prof Bogdan's lectures helped me so much. Her notes were pre-written, but I think 'twas ok. She makes Math simpler. She also includes a lot of bonus questions for every test and drops the lowest test score! If you ask her for a review before the test, she'll do it.

She's very quiet sometimes and she can occasionally drag class for an extra 10+ minutes, but she's quite clear about how she grades. It's a pre-100 level math course, so expect a lot of HW and be prepared to buy the customized textbook required for the class. Attendance isn't entirely mandatory, but I recommend showing up for SOME of class at least

On the first day of our MW class she got distracted by some students and we ran over time, so we started out behind on our coursework. This has happened multiple times. She's a bit of a pushover, I wish she would take charge and direct the class so we use our time wisely. Lectures consist of copying notes and her explaining them. Shes nice though.

She is seriously the sweetest instructor. She doesn't make it intimidating when you need help. She is very eager to help and is very clear when you have questions. I would take a class with her again.

Love her! I struggle with math, but I've taken M97 & M98 from her and loved both You copy her prewritten notes almost every class. I liked this, because it set a clear expectation for what she wants you to know. She is pretty understanding, and she is super willing to meet with you before or after class. Her only flaw is she can get distracted.

Professor Bogdan is so sweet and amazing. Her notes you copy from are so easy to understand. Math is a tough subject for many people and she really understands that and tries to make it simple for you to understand. She also drops one test and lets you correct your hw before getting it checked off so super easy to get an A.

She was a kind and caring teacher. When I went to her outside of class for help she was always excited to help out. I would say she goes on tangents in her lectures. Very slow and relaxed style. I would take her again.

Jeanne is a very awesome math teacher. She is willing to stay after class to help you if needed and never gets frustrated if you don't understand. Her grading is very reasonable and will drop your poorest test score of the quarter (excluding final). Homework is self corrected and given to learn the material, not to test you every day.

1. Lesson is reviewed in class, you take notes, do homework, self-correct homework, get 100% (roughly 6 assignments per week, but fast if you use notes. 2. Chapter tests often have extra credit, and lowest test score is dropped 3. stays after class to teach/review 4. You always know what to expect. No surprises. 5. Quiet learning environment

I had Bogdan as my teacher for two quarters in a row(MATH098, MATH099), with 96.5% average. She grades presence and homework, very clear in her lectures, follows the books order, basically I have no complaints at all. She did what any teacher is supposed to do, teach with clear instructions and provide assistance whenever asked.

Shes a great instructor. Shes personable and gives clear expectations and instructions.

Ms. B helped me so much with math and encouraged me every step of the way. She has notes on how to do math problems her way and you can also look at how the textbook does problems. She will stay after class to clarify any math problems, she doesnt make you feel stupid for asking questions. One of the best math classes Ive taken. Im up to 208 now

Jeanne is a sweet lady and I appreciate the way she genuinely cares that students understand course material. The course is lecture heavy and attendance matters, so make sure you don't skip out! My only frustration was that she could sometimes lose patience easily and make passive aggressive comments.

Very clear and helpful if you have any questions about assignments. Uses Pearson for homework, which is excellent. Lecture heavy, but she is super easy to follow. She also posts the notes she went over during class. Midterms and finals are exactly like homework and lectures. Very accommodating too. Easy A if you do HW assignments and attend class!

Absolutely loved having her as a teacher she is so kind and patient, always answering questions kindly even if you are embarrassed about it. She does nottt play about having ur camera on and she will call you out if u dont or if ur on zoom from ur phone lmao, lectures and hw make it very easy to pass lots of reinforcement on important concepts!

Amazing teacher. A lot of homework but easy and accessible lectures and notes. If you're looking for the right teacher, this is the one.

Amazing. Extra points for the test if you spot a mistake in the lecture. Really sweet and caring.
