Very nice and knowledgeable. Sometimes hard to understand but you get used to it. I would take her again w/o thinking twice. Tests r easy multiple choice and 2 short essays but she tells you what the essays are. Just read the book and copy down powerpoints in class and you'll get at least a B. Very nice, she tells funny stories to clear up topics.

As a psych major, I like to be able to understand the concepts that are being discussed in psychology classes. That was not possible with this professor, her speech is very hard to understand and the majority of the class content involved biology and random development facts thrown in out of no where. Doesn't take attendance and leaves the notes on blackboard so basically it is your choice to show up. I did show up and listen to her lectures however it didn't help. Most of her tests are opinion based and I don't think she read one of my papers. It was as if she just picked a grade out of thin air. I waited 2 months for a grade on a paper.

Unreasonable amount of busy work which serves no purpose. Grades are not submitted for months so you have no idea how youre doing in the class. Directions for assignments are minimal and rubrics are nonexistent. At one point the class did poorly on an assignment and in response she berated the class over email. Avoid at all costs.

She expects you to read her mind when completing assignments and provides minimal if any instructions. An unreasonable workload for a one credit class especially considering most of the assignments were completely pointless. I wasted so much time in this class working on assignments which taught absolutely nothing.

It takes her a whole class period to go through 4 slides. She assigns pointless homework with minimal instructions and then grades it super hard for no reason. I've had her three times, the first time everyone was failing the class. The second class was easier, but this online stuff makes her classes horrid. Dont take her if you can avoid it.

Dr. Malmberg is very bad at lecturing to students, is very hard to follow along, goes on long tangents during class, assigns homework with very little instructions and ends up confusing people. If you can take a class with another professor, do so! You will save so much unnecessary stress.

Although Jeanne is a very nice person, this class consists of constant lecture, which is bearable, but don't expect to receive exam grades back until a month or more later. Questions are on the exam that were never discussed in lecture and exam answers are not shown so you won't be able to see what answers you got wrong and why.

Takes forever to get through her slides, usually tells personal stories that take her 5 minutes to get through. She does not put grades into Canvas for weeks, is a tough grader on homework, and does not clearly explain the assignments at all. I've had her for 3 classes and this was the last straw. Do not take her class, especially if it is online.

Having her in the past I knew exactly how to navigate this class. Lectures can be very tough to follow due to over-explanation so studying the slides independently can be helpful. Almost ALL text questions are applications so be able to apply info. She curves every exam and if you actually study you'll do fine. Idk why everyone finds her rude...

Professor Malmberg was the worst professor I have ever had. She doesnt give you a clear rubric for your papers and then proceeds to fail you on them. Dont bother trying to talk about your grade because she doesnt care enough to tell you what you did wrong. I would never take this class if you want a good GPA in college.

Incredibly difficult to understand what shes saying, lectures are long and tedious with an overload of information regarding very few topics, unclear grading standards and expectations, and no chance to defend your grade against said unclear standards. Assignment heavy, but I took this for summer so not surprising.

Prof Malmberg is a decent professor. Her class was not too difficult if you follow her directions on papers and go to her exam review sessions. My main issue was that she wasted time during class with personal stories and she was not very understanding. I didn't think she was very respectful and she treated us like she was so far above us.

The fact that she doesn't speak well was not an issue for me. She does not post supplementary material and powerpoints are very short with little correlation to the assignments you take. Many of the application questions are very abstract and examples are not provided in slides. Almost no chances to make up points with very few assignments.

It's not too hard of a class, if you do the assignments you should pass. But make sure you don't spell a single word wrong or miss a comma, because she'll take points away. Overall Dr. Malmberg is a nice professor. Her lectures are consistently based on her Google slides, and those are easy to follow. However, if you aren't a good test taker, don't take her.
