Great professor...lot of work to do but easy stuff and help you to bust your grade up which that's always good..she an easy prof... i'll definately recommend her.

Boring for me because I know how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT. But it's a good course if you know nothing about the programs.

The class is amazing, although others may find her work tedious it is actually VERY helpful! I thought I was an expert in Microsoft Office, but man has this class proved me wrong. Tkae this class, the teacher is awesome, and so is the stuff you will learn. 10/10 woud recommend! :)

I took this as an express class for an elective credit and I was pleased to get an A. It was time consuming and the assignments usually take about 1-2 hours to complete. I would take it again I would just recommend not waiting till last minute to do the work because some assignments are time consuming. Do the work and you will get an A.

Probably the easiest class and the most laid back professor @ PBSC. If you need to brush up on your skills in Microsoft programs, or are looking for a primer - take this course. There is one project requiring a partner, but there is ample time to complete and it is very easy (PowerPoint 5 slides each). The work in SAM is simple. Stress-free class!

Super easy course just pay attention. Professor gets straight to the point. No homework everything can be done in class brought SAM or blackboard.

There is a lot of homework, but it's not difficult as long as you follow what the book says.

The only complaints I would give to this professor would be that she doesnt give out clear feedback, has typo issues (which I can overpass), and doesnt respond back in time with a students concerns. But, if you know your way when it comes to a computer and its programs than this class should be an easy A for you.

She's always there to help you if you need it. A very easy class to pass, but make sure you do buy the textbook access code or you will not pass! Sam 2013 is required as a duel for this class as well. Overall very easy and understanding, students are responsible for classwork- but she does give extra credit!

If you follow directions, do assignments, read the book you can get less than a B. Test come from BOOK, assignments are from the BOOK. Great Teacher!! Extra Credit! Doesn't want you to fail, you just have to try. If you get a C in this class you simply didn't try. Must purchase book for assignments. Must use discussion board. I have a 97 BTW

I took this class online and it worked for me, but I would rather have taken the class in a classroom, so that I ask questions.

The class is really easy. You don't need to buy the book just the access code. I bought both and barely used the book because she attaches a powerpoint with the lessons that tells you what to do. We did have one group project. The project was easy but working with a partner that you don't see was a little difficult.

This class is easy and your guarenteed to understand the material. One thing I want to pass on is if you don't have Microsoft 2013 on a PC then having a Macbook won't work. MacBooks have different software. Also make sure you really want this class cause the book is expensive, online or in bookstore doesn't make a difference.

I absolutely loved her. I took her online and keeping up with work, family and pets was do-able. I invested about less than 10 hrs a week for the class. The book basically walks you through the entire class! Definitely take her!

I loveddd this professor! she was so nice and always willing to help. All that is expected for each lesson is one assignment from the book, two assignments from SAM (which are very easy) and one test for each lesson. This is my favorite teacher at Palm Beach State College! I took this course during the summer online. The material is organized and the professor is easy to reach! There is one lesson each week that will consist of a chapter class work assignment, two SAM assignments, and one SAM quiz.

This was an easy summer class! I took this class because I thought it would give me good information and be an easy A which it was. Prof. Murcia was a great teacher and helped me out a lot. I was even able to go on vacation and not have to worry about missing assignments.

I took this course online (Summer B) and it's so basic. This whole course is about following directions and its super easy, you just gotta out the time in for it. Very lenient on due dates. I had to pull out my old computer because there is no 2013 Microsoft Office program for Mac, so make sure you get ahold of a PC.

Great professor who gives many chances for you to succeed. You use the book and do a few assignments per week. Usually gives one homework assignment.

Professor Murcia is really nice and calm. I would definitely take her class again. Her class is easy, but there is a lot of work to do since the class is only once a week.

Taking this online you don't really deal with the professor that much. Most of your work is in Sam. It grades quickly but sometimes it robs you points if your picture isn't in exactly in the right spot for example. Also it gives quizzes that are worded strangely and you can miss questions that you really know. Murcia is helpful and fair.

There was only 6 students in my class as it was a summer course. She understood that it was summer and we all take vacations as long as did your work before you left so that you were caught up with the class when coming back. You had a full week to do your H.W. Quizzes are open book and you had an exam after each section, & only 4 sections. EASY A!

She goes over material step by step in class before the homework is assigned. As long as you stay current with the homework & show up, then you won't fall behind. She's straight forward & if you miss a class, prepare to make up the work in SAM. It is an easy A . If you are computer savvy, it's super easy. I've seen people struggle if not attentive.

Tests are easy, Open book. Great opportunity to learn what you missed during your studying. Assignments are a must. You cannot do the assignments unless you read the chapters and pay attention in class. Missing class throws you back a bit. So make sure you study a chapter if you miss the class.

Youll pass with an A and learn nothing in the classroom unless you dedicate a lot of time to it by yourself.

I took her Microcomputer Applications online class as a requirement for my business program. She requires an access code for you to do the assignments on the SAM websites. Great class.

Professor Murcia answers your questions in a timely manner and she always make herself available for her students. She announces her office hours and invites you to visit her for any help. She truly cares about her students and if you do the work you will pass her class.

She is an amazing professor. Being in class everyday is a must if you want to be able to do your homework and quizzes if not then you'll fall behind and assignment and quizzes will just start to pile up. But this course is an absolute easy A!

Jeanne is a wonderful professor. She takes the time to ensure that the students understand the content at hand. The tests can be difficult, so be sure to go through the powerpoints and read the chapters.

I learned a lot in the class and had a great experience.

The course has a test every class and a decent amount of homework but the tests are open book and the homework is very clear in what it wants.

The Professor is open to feed back in class and likes to handle classes as more of a think tank and less as a classroom. This means that if you participate a lot you will get back more than if you do not.

Professor Murcia is an outstanding professor that cares for her students and is very informed about what she teaches, with a ton of experience within the programming field.

The Professor did a great job in running the class through brainstorming sessions. It helped the class work well as a group to accomplish assignments and overcome challenges that some might have been hung up on.

Loved this professor and this class, but skipping class if you have no prior experience or struggle with computer programs is detrimental. Class always consisted of doing one of the assignments with the professor before sending us off on our own to do the rest. Lots of work in a very short amount of time but most effective way of learning.

This class is for those who have little to no knowledge of Microsoft Office. It provides knowledge of subject matter that is useful in the 21st Century.

Class was very easy, she is lenient and gives you plenty of time to do your assignments. If one closes before you finish just ask and she will reopen it. I am taking her again next semester for something else because she is very easy to work with.

The class is straight forward. The website is organized well. Does all her grading through Connect, so grades are immediate. You can retry assignments up to 5 times, and quizzes are fairly easy. One thing I did not realize before taking was that the entire course is learning Microsoft. Easy A as long as you meet due dates and follow instructions.

Professor Murcia is great. There are seven modules, each has 1-2 assignments from the textbook, 1 discussion post & a response, as well as a test (lockdown browser not required). Quite an interesting, informational class. She offers extra credit and is lenient on due dates. This class does require a textbook.

Awesome professor she helps you with all your questions and goes over everything very well. She kind of has the whole class join in on all the assignments which is really nice and helpful which gets everyone into joining the class discussions.

Professor Murcia was extremely kind and helpful throughout all her lectures. Due to the nature of the course, you have to pay attention and be engaged in order to full develop the key fundamentals of the class, especially if you're a new programmer. Lenient with dates and assignments, tests are through canvas and are easy.

I found Dr. Murcia to be a very good teacher. I had no programming background and the material was very challenging for me but she was able to break down complex ideas and concepts into real world applications that made the course material not just manageable, but also fun. If possible, I would definitely take her classes again.

This class is easy to pass, there are many assignments which are mainly done in class and after each chapter (15) there's a 40 question test. She is kind and gives you time to catch up. Her teaching style is more along the lines of videos and reading PowerPoints together. I do think that her lessons are a bit outdated and are drawn out and long.

I like my professor from my class. I like her very much, because her teaching systems. i recommend hardly chose her for your next class. she always take time for all new and other new student form other country and other language student. she give me change for fix all homework, what ever i had wrong. i am very happy for her.

i took it online and i don't think i've actually interacted with her yet. the class was easy, it starts with computer based assignments and moves to microsoft office, it's a lot of work but the lessons themselves aren't too hard. the website simnet that she uses for assignments is a little finicky with grading and wants you to be very precise

This professor will go over things again and again for students who are not paying attention or who are lost in class. Attendance is required, and you will be doing projects as the teacher does them, as well as other assignments in this same manner. Being late is not too bad of an issue, but you will be called on at least once each class to answer.

Very easy course. Total like 50-60 assignments that take like one full week to complete everything. They require 0 thought. Just discussion questions. It might seem overwhelming at first, but you will get the hang of it and breeze through. I was able to finish like 1 month early by doing all the assignments ahead of time.

This course was incredibly straight forward and easy. Not entirely sure how anyone could get below an A. Theres some lengthy assignments but all in all the course was easy and you could finish pretty fast if you wanted to. Just stay on top of due dates and you're golden. I took Professor Murcias CGS-1100 hybrid class and had a very positive experience. There's a discussion every week, and she gives you several options of questions to answer. The weekly homework isn't demanding and as long as you do it and show up to class it's a guaranteed A. She's very sweet and I would definitely take her again!

The formatting of her workload is a bit messy, but she tells you the order in which you'll do the chapters, so you'll be fine. The midterm and final are a combination of all of your assignments and quizzes grades, which you do at home. If you get 100% on all, you get 100% for the midterm, and 100% for the final if you keep getting 100's.
