Avery helpful teacher.

How can you not like this teacher. You can have fun in her class, and not have to get very far into psych and still get an A as i did. Sure she's off topic half the time, but the class won't kick your ass, the tests are easy, and no homework or finsal projects

how can all of not like this teacher? she is of the best in the school.She gives you less work than all the others and a fair amount of work and you dislike her(shame).Vivian is a very good teacher, a great personality and if you disagre, you have issues.

she is a very cool laid back lady. she is extremely nice, and prepares you well for her exams. you would be a fool not to take her class. she is one of the coolest professors i have ever had.

she's funny & very into what she's saying but the only thing is her test.. she makes you give long answers ( the longer the better ) you really have to memorize material word for word to do well on her tests.

I took her a few semesters ago and to be honest I learned a lot from her. Yes, She gives us a lot of material to work with but she is lenient.It is what you put into your work you get from it. A professor does not give a student a grade, the student earns it.

She's a nice prof. Her exams are fair, prepares you well on her exams but she wants a longer answer (a paragraph). She doesn't give a lot of homeworks. So, I will highly recommend her, you won't be disappointed.

i really liked her! she was a wonderful teacher and i think she cared about her students, because i was always a loner in class. she told me one day while i was sitting outside alone that she appreciated me, and that i do really well in her class. i felt really pretty good :) i'm not depressed or anything i just like to keep to myself.

she was great, she helped me a lot and if i could take her for psychology 240 i would. All you got to do is pay attention to her examples and when she gives out the question sheets make sure you go over them because her tests and quizes are straight from the sheet. ~Good luck~

GREAT TEACHER! She wanted us to write exactly what she taught in the tests and from the hand-outs. At first I got an F but my last two tests I got A's. Ovarall for the class I got an A. Great Teacher.

Great teacher, uses alot of videos, and presentations. makes it interactive. Tests are simple, she reviews for all exams. Most of them are really simmiliar to what she tells you to review.Its pretty much straight foward. She's a fantastic teacher, though she kinda dozes off lol. she uses the book, but you can slip by just using her lectures.

This class is any easy A. She's a good professor, lenient, understanding, and motivating . Shes a little ditsy but I thought that's what made her so funny. I recommend her to anyone looking to take this class. I enjoyed it.

really easy class, for those who didnt get an A in her class obviously didnt even bother opening a textbook because all the answers are right there..she helps go over the questions right before the test...she also brought videos in to help ease the material...Id take her again

She is very kind and helpful, she may get off track but obviously has a firm knowledge of psychology. She tries not to get too in depth so as not to confuse students. She gives make up exams and she only keeps the top 5 grades out of around 8 quizzes. As long as you pay attention in class and take notes, this class is an easy A!

She's really helpful, very, very, trust me! She's a nice woman, she is willing to everyone in her class, and she is very responsible. She gave us almost all the problems on the final exam before, and we had no mid-term exam, you just looking up and it is easy to get an A. Believe me, take her class, you will be fine there.

This lady is too good. I never get bored in her class. If you study this class is an easy A. Pay attention to her videos. Very good at notes. I love this class.

If you pay attention during class and study with the text book, you will get an A. She is not helpful as much as other teachers I had. She seems she doesn't like being asked lots of questions. Anyway, if you understand the text book well, you're grade is promised.

Great professor, No midterm,just a quiz a week where she drops the 2 lowest grades out of 12 read the book and notes and handouts and you're guranteed an A, we had a sit in tutor, use him before the quiz and you will not only know the material but understand it. It is a very interesting class and you NEED an A for certain majors.

This professor truly understands psychology and how student's minds work. She quizzes weekly instead of cramming everything in one midterm. She takes time to prepare handouts that outline the material prior to each quiz. Drops the 2 lowest grades, there is no way to fail, unless you're super lazy.

I don't know what these other students are talking about. This professor tells you exactly what to study for, gives you an old final exam with the answers to study, and gives extra questions on all of her exams so you can get questions wrong but still get an 100+. All you have to do is study the material on the handle outs and class notes.

all quiz and final have extra question 5 question, even you got wrong you still can have 100! Make sure you read the textbook and write down her notes then it's a easy class for you!

for the final study from all the previous quizzes...listen and take notes...u cud get an a, but really focus during her class and write down as much as possible. i got an a- and over 90's in all her tests, and i just studied for 15 mins before her classes

I didnt even study until 10 mins b4 her class started and got an A. She is a great profeesor however she can be forgetful at times about collecting or grading work. I recommend her to all who wants 2 take SSY101

She is excellent. Very smart, approachable, works hard. Her class was a highlight of my day. Motivates you, sense of humor, gets to know students. Evens material out well and offers review sheets for quizzes -some surprises but can't hand it all away. Invest enough time and you'll do well.

Very easy class...didn't have to study that much.I took a week off and explained my situation to her and she understood. Make sure you write down wat she writes on the board and wat she repeats. They will defiantly be on her quizzes.Drops the lowest 2 quizzes. Can't complain. Excellent teacher!!!

Easy and you'll learn. I got a C+ and I was absent and late 10 time or more and did a lousy job on quizzes. Still, she was generous enough to give me an alright grade.

She knows what she's teaching, and is very easy going on class assignments. Just make sure she doesn't see you on your cell phone or walking out of class numerous times to use the restroom. She highly dislikes it and will embarass you in front of the whole class..She gives excellent quiz and exam reviews. You will learn in her class!!!

Great reviews for all quizzes. If you study those you are guaranteed an A. Final is all quizzes combined plus some info from lectures. Overall very glad I had her....study to comprehension ratio isn't bad 1-2 hrs a week for quiz and you ace them.

Best Professor EVERRRRR!!! All you have to do is show up read over every handout she gives because that will be on the test .. honestly you do not need the textbook i didn't waste my time purchasing one .. but she is extremely fair and she drops the lowest grade can be a little bit weird but in the end she teaches you a lot take the 6 week course

She explains very well and applies everything to situations from life. If you don't study, it's ur fault, not hers. This is a class where u need to pay attention but she is really good and her lectures are super interesting. She is funny too. I highly recommend her. Wish my major required more psychology classes. Be on time and show up. Very easy to talk with. Funny but corny sometimes and she knows it. She will even laugh at herself. Work is easy. Gives great review quizzes for tests. She doesn't like being disrespected and will let you know quickly. Read the book and take the online pretests and u will get an A.

Really great, down to earth, funny and understanding professor. Attend every class on time, participate and study. She is very easy going and makes the coursework very interesting and manageable.

Do all the practices that given u and u are guaranteed to pass. She gives extra credit on every single Quiz and the final is just a review of all the material in the quiz in a different format. 50 questions on the finals that count 10 extra credit (this is a final, c'mon, you can't get luckier than that). And 3 extra credit every quiz. Love her.

She is a good professor. As long as you read the book and her outline, it's not hard to get A. And no textbook needed.

She is confusing sometimes. But I took her in short session. As long as you read her notes and practice quizzes its easy A. She gives 3 extra credits on every quiz and 10 on final.

She makes the material easy to understand. Gives/shows a lot of examples to explain things further. Gives an insane amount of extra credit on all the quizzes and the final... which means that you have tons of opportunity to pass. Study her outlines for each lecture and you're good to go.

One of the best Professor of Laguardia. Her classes were very interesting, effective and useful for real life. I wish she had taught developmental psychology as well.... Never never forget such a remarkable professor.

Being her student was an amazing experience. She makes the Psychology course so interesting and easy(using PowerPoints) that you won't feel bored for a second. She provides chapter's outline before every lecture(you don't need to buy a book) with practice questions for quizzes. There is always an extra credit for every quiz, and for finals.

She is very patient and states clearly exactly what you have to get done, she even gives you a clear cut checklist. She cares very much about your future and will take the time to sit down with you and discuss any steps towards future plans. All in all a very good teacher.

I began to Love psychology after taking her clas, having her as a professor was a pleasure. She cares about her students and is very understanding . Shes very clear from the beginning, and gives out great study guides. The otline she gives out for quizzes are very HELPFUL!

she is not a tough grader at all, and is usually very nice. she doesn't do work online, nothing is given or submitted online so be prepared to have man, many handouts. overall very clear lectures and takes time to explain the material if you don't understand it. be sure to give in work on time because she will not work with you with due dates.

By far the best teacher I've encountered! She's very organized and all her handouts are meant to help you. She also gives you an outline on a quiz beforehand so you can prepare for. If you're aiming for an A, then get high 90's on all your quizzes, don't be on your phone, smile, and be on time. She helps you fully understand with tons of examples.
