This is a pretty easy class if you go
not too hard if you read the book

Class is BORING. Attendance is semi slack, somtimes she counts it, sometimes she doesn't. You're excused if you get an 85 or better on the first two tests. She is a little random sometimes (should be teaching kindergarten). Study, or tests suck
Reaaaaaaaaaaaallly pointless class. She actually takes attendence but she does let you out 15 minutes early most of the time. STUDY THE BOOK.
She teaches like we're 5th graders. Class is easy if you read the chapters. If you get higher than 85% on first 2 tests, no attendance policy!
Ridiculous. I've been doing Health for as long as I can remember and know most of the stuff. But the tests are horrible, they're really not on the material learned .. Stay away from her!

Health classes in general are usually boring so I really don't think its her. She is very pleasant and informative, and I personally found her tests easy..not bad at all

This lady had the easiest class. Her test come straight from the assigned reading and notes. I thought she was fair, and was a pretty nice lady!

You have to read for the tests, but not for class, and its easy reading. Get to know her, introduce yourself and she'll love you. She is very accommidating if you have a special situation as far as attendance.
easy class, have to take notes and skim the chapters not hard. The tests aren't even long Worst part is attendence.
Attendance is mandatory and annoying but she's really easy, all you really have to do is study the vocabulary for the tests and you'll do fine, all common sense for the most part...no homework ever

professor is easy.. the tests are based primarily on common sense, so that's easy. but she takes attendance in a 300 person class! but she's good.
Boring. If she didn't take attendence I'd never go, but if you pay attention then you can ace the tests, it's all common sense.
Man this is one happy lady! Easy class (for her part) the only thing is that the tests are interesting. I didn't take notes, didn't open the book, studied the outlines 15 min before the test and got a 'B' so she's not that hard

Not too hard, just look at powerpoints and book before test. Don't really need to take notes. Takes attendence in 250 person class so you have to go.
powerpoints are pointless. tests only from the book, so the class can be decieving. outside time and events required. not necessarily a "gimmie" class
She wouldn't answer students questions before and after class because she says that "class isn't in session yet, i'm not your teacher". She's really mean in the beginning of the quarter but tried to be our best friend towards the end of the clas
Not a good teacher at all, but pretty much all GHTH 100 teachers fall into that category. Tests are 90% common sense, even if you don't pay attention you can do okay on them.

IRRITATING teaching style: she goes thru the powerpoint notes at 100mph but then tells you half way that she will post them. Then she takes forever to post the notes so you only have a few days to actually study. Class is boring & the tests are average.
i like her cause we get out of class early everyday, but the tests are not easy...not too bad but not great
health sucks, so she is slightly better I guess. The tests seem like theyd be the same whoever you have, and the lectures the same as well. She usually lets class out early though, at least 15 minutes almost every day.

exams are hard, but as long as you read the book and powerpoints, getting an A isn't hard. i never showed up to class and still got an A, so it wasn't so bad.

Nice, but boring. No need to attend class, just look at the powerpoints and you will do fine. I hardly even read my textbook, only to clarify what i don't understand. easy class
She was very clear in her lectures and easy to follow. Really cares about her students and enjoys teaching. Powerpoints on blackboard, Manual explanatory- Tests not that difficult if you attend class regularly, read the manual, and look at powerpoints. Enjoyed class and enjoyed her as a teacher!
She's a great prof. who will always help any student who needs it. She's very informed on her topics and posts the slides on blackboard. I never go to the class hardly and I'm pulling a B
All lectures are put on blackboard, so there's no real need to go to class, which is great because this woman is SO boring. Just take notes and go to class on test days, which are multiple choice and pretty easy.
dont have to go to class cause she posts all her powerpoints on blackboard,when you do go to class she blazes through them at a million miles per hour, but the key to this class is the study guide outline that has all your passport forms in it not the powerpoints cause they arent very helpful at all

Bird class.You can just fly right through it.Just show up on exam day.She fronts with an attendance policy butnever enforces it.Class is boring.Material is boring.You'll be a good student the first month.Then you'll realize people skipping every class make the same grades as you.You'll catchon fast.
I have an A in this class and I only went to class to take the exams and hand in assignments. Enough said.
not too bad, i went to class the first two weeks or so and never went back except for tests bc class is POINTLESS!! i got a B with very little to no studying.
Grades based on favorites, fake, proves that having a doctorate doesnt make one intelligent, boring pwrpnts daily, forgets class topic from previous day, late to class, provides no pos. feedback or constructive criticism, only neg-sits there & looks at you, by the way -entire class feels this way
Lady forgets what we did previously everyday we had class. She is so fake, stares at you until you say something - weird/awkward, doesn't teach us anything useful for our careers, makes up grades based on what she thinks of you and not content of your project, couldn't be more unorganized, ahole.
She's incredibly boring. No need to go to class. Very fake personality. Doesn't know what she's talking about. No attendance policy. You might as well take her...you never have to do anything except take a few exams and go to urec. not bad. just pointless.

Very nice lady, but not too much of a benefit in going to class. Classes feel like high school with pointless conversation about our lives--hardly relevent to the tests. Not too hard of a class. Easy B/A.
Very boring class. I only went to class to take tests and that is it. I got a B in the class. For her tests just study the Outling book and the powerpoint which she puts online. Ok lady but for such a big class she speaks low and her classes are pointless....sooo boring!!
boring class, hard tests, pointless stuff in class that really has nothing to do with anything that is in the book.. you might as well just not goto class and read the book and take the tests...you do get Extra Credit for attedance which can help..but BLAH!
class was boring, useles... a complete waste of time. test questions were stupid and poorly worded. teacher refused to answer my questions. i hated it. don't get her.... and PS- her tests are really hard even though the class is a TOTAL waste of time.

This class is a joke. She's a pretty big jerk tho--not helpful, not understanding, and everything has to be EXACTLY how she wants it. The only benefit is there is no attendance policy, and it's totally unnecessary to go to class. I went less than once a week and got a B+. Just do all the assignments,review Power Points (online), and study for tests
You don't need to ever go to class unless you want extra bonus points, it is suprising that she doesn't teach you anything when you do go to class but the tests are extremely detail oriented and she doesn't curve. I read the chapters, read the powerpoint (they're blackboard) and made a study guide and still didn't do well on the tests. GROSS!
ok ok attendance, yeah its a joke your supposed to go but she reads the powerpoints to you and it is just a waste of time..her test yeah she scored ours wrong like 5 times and i think mine is still wrong. take GKIN it is better than this class. If you have common sense than don't take her class.
HORRIBLE. Nice lady, but the class is HORRIBLE. All she does is talk about nonsense and not the facts that are going to be on the test. We spend all class talking to our neighbors about what kind of bank account we would have with a spouse or something stupid like that. The only thing that I learned was how gross STDS can look...
She teaches this class with her husband, they each do half a semester. Her tests were easier than his. His consisted of material that would be on a 400 level test. It's ridiculous. All they do is read the powerpoint to you in class. You get up to 10 extra bonus points for going to class. 3 tests, and final not cummulative.
She is a really nice lady who really cares about her students. Granted, it is a very boring class and consists completely of powerpoints, but I don't know how else you would teach a 150 person health class. This class is not an easy A, it is a lot harder than you would expect. But I found her to be a very nice lady who is very willing to help.
If you are an over-achiever then dont take this class. If you are trying to get it over with, get a B if you study a little bit, have a nice teacher, and generally be able to slack off, this is the class for you. Practically no work load-Can easily skip 1/3 of classes and be ok. Tests aren't easy, just look over Power points- prob get a B.
don't go to class except to turn stuff in, or for tests. if you do go to class you get extra points (not really sure how they factor into your grade). i studied a little and got a B, not a hard class but im a health major so i liked the material. i never went to class and gave me time for everything else. take them

Ms. Wenos is a terrible teacher. I attended class every day for the first two tests, and studied the notes she gave during class which she said the test would be on. My friend, who skipped every class, got higher than me on the tests. She separates everyone into groups like children and has us talk over things. Just study the blue book for test
This is a horrible class. I'm a health science major, and she made this class way more harder then it needed to be. It's extremely boring, and the tests are pretty hard. I ended up with a B, without doing a lot of work, but it just wasnt a fun class overall.
she gives you powerpoints, yet somehow her slides dont outline the important facts in the book. read the book to study for her exams, not the slides. questions on her exams are extremely ambiguous. going to class is pointless and a waste of life. she has no control over the class... it felt a little too much like high school for me. shes no good :(
i went for the 1st 2weeks and havent gone back i dont plan to. all she does is read off slides which are on BB. all exams are online. study the book/slides. only go to class to turn something in n bring other work to that class cuz youll get bored. if your looking for a class that you rarely go to, take it, exams are hard but the class is an easy b

Basically she would make us get into groups and talk about our feelings. Her lectures are AWFUL and you'd be better off teaching yourself. Sometimes I felt I could give a better lecture than her. Do not take this class, it sucks!

this is the most pointless class i have ever taken in my LIFE. DONT GO TO CLASS its a waste of time, the tests are online, so you dont even hafta go to class for those..i would not recommend her or her husband if you actually care about learning about health but if you want a class where you can skip almost every class..take them!

I took this class online in maymester and it was super easy, i didnt ever really study, only 1 exam and the nutrition and fitness logs,and papers are easy to get As on.Shes pretty hard to get in touch with but the class is really easy so there is no need to really get in touch with her. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a easy class
Taking online during "june"mester. Not too much work, except assignments are due at weird times during the week. Probably easier than taking it in person for a regular semester. Only fault I've found so far is assignments get a little too personal for my comfort.
Took this class online during Junemester and it was not bad at all. 2 online exams and a bunch of little personal assignments that she grades pretty easily. a much better option for this class than taking it during the semester and having to put in hours at UREC.
