Ma 104 was really, really intense, but Mrs. Dauber made it REALLY easy to understand. She is big on practicing and assigns a TON of homework. No joke, your homework load is HUGE in this class. But if you're not good at Algebra, it actually helps to comprehend everything. She is very nice, VERY helpful and wants to help you pass the class.

Mrs. Dauber is all about making sure you succeed. Her grading is fair although the homework can be unbearable but it's not her fault. I think if you are planning on taking 104 then Mrs. D would be a great choice.

I hated math in high school. This was my first A in math! If you do the homework and the extra credit you don't have to do as great on the tests and yes doing the homework does help with the tests. Some may say it's alot but the homework didn't take me more than an hour or two.

I would recommend her for anyone that has a hard time understanding Math. She has a very good way of explaing things.

I absolutely love her class! I have taken Math and have done well but in her class she actually helps me understand the material better and gives a lot of extra credit for tests and hw. I ended up with an A in the class, as long as you go to class and try you can't fail.

Probably the best prof I had in my two years at cc. She looks for any little thing to help you increase your grade and even brought cookies for everyone one time.

A very sweet lady, and an actual great teacher. She is very slow-paced and it helps a great amount. One bad thing is the amount of homework, as you are piled with it, and the fact that perfect attendance is mandatory or else you'll fail. But otherwise she is a well educated lady and will help you with your understanding in all things math related.

A wonderful teacher. So interested in getting to know the students and strives to help them understand and pass the class. Never have I once had a legitimate A grade in a math class until I took her class. I feel confident going into MA 107 now.

Mrs. Dauber was really great in caring about the students understanding the material. She took alot of interest in the students. Be prepared for homework EVERY night just about, but it is all for your benefit. Doing all the homework can bring your grade up a whole grade almost. You have to make the effort to succeed.

Mrs. Dauber was the first math teacher I actually learned something from. I understood everything the first time she taught it, if not the second. There's a lot of quizzes and homework, but they help a lot. She gave out tons of extra credit opportunities so it was hard to fail. Very interesting to listen to.

She's a nice person and a good teacher overall. However if you struggle with math you may have quite a difficult time keeping up. she goes so fast when she's teaching. She gives a lot of homework and tons of packets and things to do, and it's also all graded. if you don't do it your grade will drop. It's way too much busy work for a college class.

Very fast pace, with little class time for homework. One quiz each class period, requires you to pay full-attention during class. Heavy workload, difficult closed-note quizzes. Grades hard and looks for each detailed step. Better teacher for MA 104 and MA 97. Overall means well, just not meant for MA 107.

Mrs. Dauber was nice and helpful. She came to class an hour early to help us with our homework. Half the quizzes were copied from the homework - other half was evens from the book. Notes were online. Tests weren't bad if you studied the review.

Dauber helped me learn so much. she made me work in 107 and got me ready for 110. I am helping all the other students. homework and pop quizes made me study. I got an A jsut by paying attention.

I love Jeannie, but she is VERY fast and difficult. If this is your first time in MA 107, I do not recommend her. She has such a big heart, her learning styles are just very quick and you are graded for just about everything. You will be in over your head if math is not your strong suit.

Really don't like math but she really helps you if you need it. She is really nice and helpful. Quizzes every class but you usually u can use your homework on them. Tests are kinda hard but just really study the study guides that she gives out. I wish she teached other math classes. I would definitely take her for another math class!

I have her for MA 107 right now and she is a wonderful woman! She is so involved with your success I don't see how people fail. I was never good at math but she makes it easy. Great professor!!!

I had her for MA 107 this semester and I would highly recommend her. You have to actually work hard to get an A. She is very helpful and gives us great notes and study guides to follow. You get graded for everything so you have to pay attention. She is very involved and there is no way you can fail her class.

I had her for math 098. She was very nice and funny, and was very helpful whenever needed.

She is awesome! She will always help if you need help. She is very clear and repeats steps and equations often. The quizzes help keep the information in the head. She does hand out A LOT of papers. If you dont do well with organization and have trouble keeping track of papers, I would recommend figuring it out before. Overall awesome Prof.

Absolutely amazing teacher. Took MA098 1st semester and failed it because my first teacher was very unorganized and careless. BUT Mrs. Dauber was EXTREMELY helpful, clear, understanding and really cared about her students and their success. She had a very positive attitude as well. Usually I'm horrible at math but I ended up with a B+ in the class!

Very knowledgeable. Lots of homework, but that allows more room for error. Quite a bit of extra credit available. Don't skip class or you will miss a lot. As long as you do the work, you will be good. I started with a D on my first test and still finished with an A! If you don't understand then use the math lab!!!!!

I absolutely love this professor. I was never good at math, however after taking this class i feel like a wiz! She is super nice and extremely helpful. She does give out quite a bit of homework, but if you do it you are almost guaranteed to know everything on the tests.

Moves at the speed of light. Miss 1 class? thats a whole chapter. Not great at allowing make up work (posts all answers on Black Board) Great at what she does and good at explaining things you're having trouble with. shows up early for tests so you have more time. hole punch your whole textbook they are cheaply made and will fall apart on you.

Mrs. Dauber is a wonderful and helpful teacher. She is available to help you with any questions over work anytime and tries her best to help each student succeed regardless of level. Best teacher to ever have, especially if you're new to college like I was. She teaches more classes than just MA098 and I'll definitely be trying to get her in 107!

very fast paced but super sweet teacher

I took Professor Dauber for both math 098 and 107. There are a great number of reasons of why I took her twice. However, some main reasons are: she knows how to teach very well. She posts valuable information about the course objectives online for students. Extremely helpful and overall a great person. I would highly recommend.

Mrs. Dauber I feel truly wants her students to pass. She is there or anyone that need extra help. She comes in early and stays late. Very organized and clear when it comes to assignment and work due. She remind you of things that need to be turned in and the due date almost every day. One of my favorite math teachers. Tough class but very do-able.

She's great and helps you any way she can. I made sure I got her for MA 107. :)

She went out of her way to make sure I understood the work even allowing me (and many other students) to E-mail, text and call over thanksgiving break to get a little extra help with homework. She had more than enough extra credit to bump up a whole letter grade. Very good sense of humor during lectures.

She's a great professor overall. She's extremely helpful and clear with what she wants from us. What she wants is not unattainable - you have to work for it, but it's worth it. I learned a lot in her class, as well as improved my math skills. I would retake her course again if I had to. Dauber is also funny, creative, and easy to talk to.

I chose to get Dauber for 107 after 98. I love the way she teaches. She makes us do the work to get us ready for the test. This is good because I needed to be pushed and I leaned a ton. I am mucjh more confident in math. Tests are similar to reviews and homework is graded every day. She stayed late whenever i needed extra help.

she runs her class like a high school class. way too much focus on grading homework. I find it sad to have assigned seats and assigned homework. she is a great teacher, but learning from homework and mistakes should be more of a focus instead of credit. class gets easier as the semester goes along.

Professor Dauber was very clear and provided various mathematical examples. She made algebra make sense, and the more I practiced on the homework, the better I understood it all. She is always willing to help, so don't be afraid to ask. She would also bring in some snacks on a test day once in a while. Take her class and give it your all! :)

One of the best math teachers I've every had! Homework is required. Don't fall behind, will be hard to catch up with the lessons. The class moves very quickly, but she is more than willing to help with anything you need, the math lab will be your best friend if you fall behind! She also gives a ton of extra credit opportunities! I recommend taking.

Mrs. Dauber is the best math teacher you will ever have. Just do what she tells you to do and like me ,you will get an A in her class. I graduated in 1999. I had no clue how to do algebra. Every concept was new to me, but I did everything she recommended and I aced it!

Ms. Dauber is super sweet and she was great to have for my 7:45 class. She is super energetic and I highly recommend her. The work load was hard and heavy but it was to be expected because of the class. But, she makes the class fun (as best she can) and she provides LOTS OF EXAMPLES.

Very caring and extremely helpful. She came early to help with homework questions. I had her for MA 098 also. Wish I could get her to teach MA 110. I like all the examples. I also like having to do the homework, because it helped me to do better on the tests. Practice tests are similiar to actual tests too.

Mrs. Dauber makes it very easy for you to pass this class if you follow along and study her notes. She is very clear with how everything should be done, step-by-step. You will have no problem on any of her quizzes and tests if you study the material she gives you. She genuinely cares about your success, rare to find these days! Good class.

She does give alot of homework but it is for the best because you always will have those extra point to fall back on if you don't do that well, also she is a tough but fair grader because she will tell you exactly what's on the test and how she wants it.

She's an amazing teacher! I had her for math 98 and I loved her! She gives a lot of homework but it helped a lot for the test. She gives a practice test exactly like her test. She gives a lot of extra credit. If you spend 14 hours in math lab she gives 30 extra credit points. She is really great at explaining her lecture

She comes in 45 mins early to answer questions from our homework. There are a ton of practice resources and videos on blackboard. She is very clear in what she expects and gives a ton of examples. Work hard and you will do great. She cares more about our success than any other instructor at this college!

Just do the homework and you will do fine in the class because it's how you learn to apply and are able to retain the material, which makes acing quizzes/tests a breeze. Mrs. Dauber gives plenty of extra credit, answers questions, and allows lots of time for quizzes/tests. She really will work with you to help you succeed. She's one of the best!

By far the best prof I have ever had. Gives extra credit, she gives a study guide for each quiz and test that is basically the same. She is dedicated to help you pass (as long as you show up to class). She baked us cookies and brownies for the final. She gives extra credit on every quiz and test. I found the class easy b/c she was super helpful.

I love Jean Dauber's teaching style. Not only that, but she gives extra credit work towards tests. Also, the homework counts(and is graded), and there are mock tests. It's a lot of work, but if you do everything she tells you to do, then it's smooth sailing. I hope to have her for 107!

There is a lot of home work but if you do the time and effort you will do fine. She is amazing. She does extra to help you out with before test work shops. I really like her and her ways.

When I first walked into her class and saw what the class entailed, I thought about dropping the class and doing something else. The more I thought about it on the drive home, decided to give it a try. I am glad that I did. Yes she demands your best and if you don't understand something you can still talk to her. In other words study study!

Professor Dauber made me enjoy math so much more than I ever expected. She was clear with her grading and gave great feedback

New here to the State and enrolled to her math class late. 5 mins later I get a phone call and Professor gives me the full details about the first day so I can get caught up. Sign up with a tutor and did a lot of effort and passed her class with a B! She is so amazing! I wish there was more professors like her. She is an Angel sent from Heaven.

Amazing teacher. She truly cares about her students and their success and well being. She is a great advocate of using the available resources for students to take advantage of and highly encourages it. She is a rockstar of an instructor and great at explaining stuff. She goes above & beyond to teach her students. Hands down best in the math dept.

I've never had a teacher that cares so much about how her students perform. She really tries to help everyone be successful. If you fail this class it is not due to her lack of trying to help you. She made 6 pans of chocolate chip banana bread to encourage students to come to her optional test study session. How much nicer can you be?

Shes nice & explains the hard stuff in a way you can grasp. Lots of HW, with a huge binder to keep track of. Not a class to skip lectures or not try. She wants her students to succeed & will offer help. Studying is KEY, but its a manageable class if you stay on top of it & dont slack. She normally bakes for exams & is really funny :)

I've never had a professor care about both my class performance & mental health! Yes, this is a heavy course but leading up to the tests there are additional reviews (in which she bakes amazing treats), & she also puts up the answers to past homework/labs leading up to the tests - the studying is up to you. She is very friendly & fun to be around.

This class is a lab class so attendance and ample time spent studying are nessicary but she gives plenty of opportunities to help in her before test reviews. She practically writes out the final for you to study. If you put in the effort and a little time, this class is easy. Shes a great teacher and very caring about her students. Great class !

Professor Dauber is probably the best teacher I've ever had. Her class isn't easy but any means, but it's designed in such a way that if you do the bare minimum, you will pass, and you really have to work for the A. She is very encouraging, loves her job, and very reasonable. To those who are leaving bad reviews, I don't know what class you were in

Mrs. Dauber is amazing. One of the best professors Ive had here at GRCC. She cares so much about her students, and wants everyone to succeed. She goes above and beyond to always make sure your well organized and are understanding the material. I do not have one bad thing to say about her. 10/10 would highly recommend.

You dont need a textbook, you print everything you need in the class! Mrs. Dauber is by FAR the best professor Ive had. There is no reason you shouldnt pass if your there doing the work. She cares about every one of her students and goes out of the way to help you succeed. Your offered extra credit, reviews before tests, etc. compare answers!

By far the best professor I have had here at grcc. She cares about her students. She wants them to succeed. She gives a lot of homework, but so what. This is making the material sink into your brain. If you actually do the work you can pass the class easily. She goes above and beyond when it comes to helping her students. Take her. Do the work.

This is Dauber awesome.. She went above and beyond what is expected. I was pleasantly surprised. All the extra stuff she did was amazing. She gave reviews before a test and study guides that were very specific. This class was hard, but she made me want to do my best and helped me so much! I wish she taught more of the classes that I have to take!

She was the best professor I have ever had, she basically makes it impossible to fail her class unless you choose not to put the work or time in. I wish all professors were like her, shes like a second mom in a way.

Usually not one to write reviews but this professor deserves all the best reviews in the world. She genuinely cares about her students and will literally go out of her way to make sure she helps every student. The course has a lot of information but I promise you that she makes it as easy as can be! If you take her class trust me you won' regret it

She is always available for you even when she is with her family camping. Her Zoom meetings were the most beneficial for me she would go over what is on the quiz and tests. I struggled with a section and we did a private zoom meeting which was very helpful. There is a lot of work, I spent about 12 - 14 hours a week doing work but it was worth it!

SHE IS THE BEST!! just make sure you get a good lab partner too because you have to do ALL the labs with that one person. She has extra credit and she does test reviews the morning before each test which were SO helpful. You're allowed to use a one notecard front and back for the exams which is so nice because some of those equations are very hard

There is definitely a lot of homework in this class, but if you can keep up with it, you can get an A or A-. I took it online and it was okay. Just a general science class, so pretty basic. Just make sure you have enough time in your schedule to get the work done. I would say at least 10-15 hours a week.

She was the best. She cares about all of her students and takes time to get to know you. She will go out of her way to make sure you're understanding all of the material. This class has some easy material, but she gives you all of the resources you need to succeed. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, it helps a ton. I wish I could have her for every class!!

The lectures are super helpful and she cares about our education as much as we do. She wants to make sure everyone passes and understands the materials. She offers extra credit participation points for those who attend the zoom meetings. She also turns in grades really quickly!

If you are willing to put in the work, and there is a good amount of it but nothing not manageable, she will do everything in her power to help you pass. She grades fast, provides feedback, is responsive, will give you extra help if needed, videos explain things clearly, lots of extra credit. Overall great class, don't be discouraged by workload.

If youre willing to put in the work, Mrs. Dauber will make sure you are successful. There is a ton of homework in this class (10-15 hours/week), but it all flows together really well. If you ever need help or have questions, Mrs. Dauber is always right there to help and her feedback is super helpful.

This professor was extremely kind, on top of things, and helpful, but the class was difficult to enjoy. She said to expect 12 hours of work for her class each week, but there were weeks where the required videos alone were 12+ hours. The assignments were pretty easy, but the work load was unnecessarily high. In-person may be better than online.

Professor Dauber is the best professor I have ever had! She shows that she really cares about her student's success. I searched for more of her classes to take next semester because I enjoyed her class so much! As long as you are willing to put the work in, you will get an A. She makes it fun and easy to learn. She will make you love science!

She truly is an amazing professor. She shows that she cares about her students. Gives good and specific feedback on EVEYTHING! She has videos for most assignments and gives the answers so watch those! Just do all your work and watch the zoom reviews and you will do just fine! I hope I can take another of her classes in the future.

Very organized and has a unique but beneficial way of teaching concepts. I believe that anybody who takes this course will leave saying Jeannie Dauber is one of their favorites. She is very attentive to the mental health of her students, you can see that in the ways she organizes her course.

Professor Dauber was the best professor I have ever had. She really cares about each student. There is a lot of work so be prepared to spend some time on lectures, homework, warmups and labs but it all work that is on the tests and quizzes. Her communication is the best, if you ever need help or have a quick question she will help ASAP

Prof. Dauber's PC101 class is not a hard class to get a good grade on if you do the work. She has two hmw deadlines each week (one on Wed one on Sun). There is A LOT of homework that needs to get done each week but the material itself is not hard nor is the hmw. She gives extra credit for each test and has pre-made quizlets for tests and quizzes.

Great teacher all around

This class has a crazy work load and if you struggle with the class she is always willing to help out in any way that she can! She is so nice and very helpful. She has zoom meeting that are once a week and are optional if you can make time these zoom review are very helpful. Make time for this class it is a lot of hard work.

This is my favorite professor so far. She has been incredibly helpful in her grading and she offers many extra credit opportunities. This class was a four credit class and was a lot of work, but she tells you that in the first week. If you put in the work, you will get a good grade. The material is not hard, but some of it takes practice.

Mrs. Dauber has been one of my favorite teachers so far! She is very organized and good at what she does. She also cares about her students and their mental health. She gives great feedback and responds right away to your quesitons. She reviews for tests and quizzes on zoom. The homework takes time but you will really know the material.

Mrs. Dauber has been the best professor I have had in my college years so far. Her class may seem like a lot of work but without the work it wouldn't of been possible to get the grade I did. She gives amazing feedback and is very responsive for an online class. She uses remind which is amazing and responds almost immediately! She is amazing!

She's a great professor! Great with communication and makes it basically impossible to fail. There are things due every week but its not a workload you have all the resources and time you need.

I took her class over a 7-week course. This was my first chemistry class, and she made the material easy to understand and would take her time to explain things in such a way that made sense. She does give a lot of homework, but she sets it up so that you succeed in the class. She is fun and caring and overall the greatest prof. I've had.

This prof is great! She comes in early to help us. She sometimes brings in treats. The homwork isn't too bad. I spend about 2 hours after every class. She posts grade summary's and most of the test grades are A or B. We do labs at the end of almost every day, and we almost alwsys get out early.

Jeannie Daube is fantastic at explaining her mathematical problems. Also, if we need help understanding, she will make the explanation more straightforward as it needs to be, and it's beneficial for those who need help understanding mathematical or scientific problems.

Easily the best professor I have ever had! She made her lectures so easy to understand and her exams were relatively similar to the workload she assigned. She not only made it extremely fun but she also got me to WANT to go to class. Also, she bakes goodies for her class sometimes

Mrs. Dauber is one of the best professors I have had at GRCC. Having the Lecture online and the Lab in person made it seem like a lot of work but it isn't too bad. Understand that her class takes time and work. I enjoyed doing the work for the class. She is a very caring Professor and hands out treats on test days! Take her if you want to learn!!

Mrs. Dauber is the best Professor!! She helps you understand her work, she understands we have life outside of school but does have the work of a normal college course. She prepares you well for the tests and even brings in sweet treats! She is personable and easy to contact. I enjoyed learning in her class. If you want a good professor take her!!!

She's amazing and obviously loves what she dose. You will have lots of homework and lots of videos to watch. But its all to make sure you know what's shes teaching. She repeats herself lots but its a good for learning . Plus shes supper sweet and loves to bring in food to class .

There's LOTS of work, but you learn SO much. Must make sure you understand each topic before moving on. She prepares you so well for tests & quizzes, gives you exactly what you need to study, & you get a notecard for tests. She is quick to answer/enter grades, BEST prof at grcc!! I feel confident in my scientific abilities since taking her class!
